2781  Other / Meta / Re: Can I reward extra credit ''Free Spin'' to my signature campaign participants? on: October 27, 2021, 01:33:20 PM
It should be fine. Other campaigns and promos in the past have offered bonuses off site etc.
This is the perfect answer, so there shouldn't problem with forum rules.

But I think there is the possibility to drop down your campaign quality due to over-post. Participants might try to spam once you offer free spin after filling weekly requirements. I think it would be better if you give a free spin to top merit earners. So Participants will encourage to make more quality post and get merits.
2782  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Do exchanges freeze transfers from mixers ? on: October 27, 2021, 01:19:51 PM
Every centralized exchange has dangerous terms which are "suspicious transaction". So they might detect transactions from the mixer as suspicious transactions. Although this isn't the right reason to freeze our coins, they might do it. If I have to use a mixer for any reason, I won't make a direct deposit into the centralized exchange. First I will move my funds to my fresh address and then move to the exchange. Not sure if it's safe since they could track the transactions, but in case of refund, they would do it at in same address. So that I might get back at least. But I don't think usually they will freeze funds unless the fund wasn't stolen. And most likely they won't track if you use premium and reputable mixers.
2783  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best thing you bought with Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 12:55:46 PM
If my memory serves correctly I bought a watch with Bitcoin. But sadly not directly with Bitcoin. First I bought an Amazon gift card from the forum with BTC then bought a watch from Amazon. Although I didn't use direct Bitcoin but was felt happy at least I could buy something in real life with Bitcoin. I can't recall exactly what was the price of Bitcoin during that time but I think it was 5x less than the current price. This was my experience buying real-life products. Besides that, I bought virtually with a direct Bitcoin, like a domain from Namecheap.

Let's bump this,

2785  Other / Meta / Re: Hai mate, i need some advice regarding reporting spammers to moderators on: October 26, 2021, 05:26:34 PM
I am not sure about others, but for me when I found such users spamming continuously then I write in details on the report. Because it doesn't necessarily report all the posts one by one in case of pure spam. If it doesn't work then I send PM to the moderator directly with the reason why that user's post history should review. I can recall moderators were enough responsive to take action. So most likely you could do the same since you intend to help the forum by reporting spammers.
2786  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why the commission charged by exchanges for buying or selling bitcoin is cheaper on: October 26, 2021, 05:15:32 PM
Always keep in mind a simple cryptocurrency rule, if the transaction isn't on-chain then it doesn't require any transaction fee itself. As we know centralized exchange uses an internal algorithm to sell and buying cryptocurrency means transaction isn't happening on the chain. Unless you attempt to withdraw your coins then there is no fee. The fee you are paying during the trading is exchange revenue. It doesn't relate to on-chain transactions hence the trading fee is less than the on-chain transaction fee. Decentralized exchange calculations are different than a centralized exchange. Don't mix both.
2787  Economy / Reputation / Re: Post your Ranking Up Celebration Here! on: October 25, 2021, 05:57:11 PM
Can you please lock this thread? Because I don't think it's necessary. Let them celebrate individually. Let them share their happy expression with the community. Nothing wrong there. Everyone wants to highlight his celebrations on the forum. Don't combine them in a place and I don't believe Everyone will create a rank-up celebrations post that belongs to your topic which is self-moderated.

Rather than, you may collect the ranking up celebrations thread link here if you have enough time on your hand. So everyone would take look here. Don't take my post personally or negatively. I believe it's not necessary and I express my opinion.
2788  Other / Meta / Re: Promoting Website- allowed? on: October 25, 2021, 05:36:51 PM
It's pretty sure he has been promoting his website. But I don't think it should consider as spam or breaking any forum rules. He is creating a thread with a new title and new articles. I am not supporting him, rather than creating many threads he could merge that all in a single announcement thread. I don't think reporting his post would help to remove since the link isn't harmful to the forum users.
2789  Economy / Economics / Re: Really, why bitcoin has this value? on: October 25, 2021, 05:02:06 PM
All of your questions are legit but only one answer. As we know Bitcoin is totally backed by the community, so the price must depend on the community's demand. When a few big investors enter the Bitcoin community then a FOMO becomes active inside the community. As a result, everyone just concentrates to accumulate more Bitcoin and prices go up this way. Means demand goes up and circulation supply becomes lower since everyone tries to hold during that time. It's just my thoughts, I am not a good tech guy nor an analyzer. The answer might be wrong in your opinion.
2790  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: October 25, 2021, 01:50:12 PM
Since your friend is familiar with the name of Bitcoin since you already tried to convince as you said, so it shouldn't be tough. But the problem is, he heard others made a profit from Bitcoin and that's the reason why suddenly he become interested in Bitcoin. Although it's not surprising to me, and that's how at the beginning newbies become interested, but they would regret it later if you don't explain about Bitcoin technology and fundamentally how its works. Try to explain first how decentralized cryptocurrency works and how price becomes volatile where he might get profit or he might lose money as well. I this is the right way to explain.
2791  Economy / Reputation / Re: New achievement rank up to [full member] on: October 24, 2021, 05:14:15 PM
Congrats mate! You have completed a milestone and there is more milestone you have to achieve. After implementing a merit system its becomes hard to rank up, and you have realized that. So I believe your struggle become succeeded. Yea, I know the feeling during achieving a new rank since I start my journey from a newbie and I know how hard earning merit, but not hard for true contributors.

So keep up your contribution and achieve Legendary. Just set a goal you have to contribute to the forum somehow. Then your contribution will help you to achieve Legendary.

Best of Luck.
2792  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Intagram accounts sellers? on: October 24, 2021, 04:43:45 PM
I won't support buying Instagram accounts anyway. Rather than better to create yourself and build it, either organically or buying followers. I can see Amazone provide digital service from where you may buy Instagram followers. So rather than finding a new platform from where you can buy an account with cryptocurrency, you may buy an amazon gift card with Bitcoin and procced purchasing followers. I think it's better and safe as well. Buying an account won't be safe at all due to various reasons as you know very well. So, it's up to you.
2793  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are we coming to the 5th wave? on: October 24, 2021, 01:12:24 PM
To be honest I wasn't aware of this Elliot Wave (EV) at all. Just now hear from this thread. After a little digging, I don't believe that at all. It won't work always, it matches somehow for some time then it's just a natural incident. Doesn't have a relationship with Elliot Wave (EV) theory IMO. Bitcoin price always depends on demand and circulation. And this depends on many things that aren't possible to describe in a single thread. My belief is Bitcoin just follows its own direction based on timing, demand, and circulation. We shouldn't be panic about such as Elliot Wave (EV) predictions.
2794  Other / Beginners & Help / Be careful downloading files from mail with the content free Bitcoin offer. on: October 24, 2021, 03:05:51 AM
For the last few days, I am receiving mail with some downloadable files. Surprisingly although that kind of mail should consider as spam, the mail entering in my inbox. I know this is a hacking attempt from the leaked database.  But receiving regularly is quite annoying. I have reported it as spam so hope I will not receive it in my inbox anymore from the same address.

Here is the example:

The filename will always be like " Elon Giveaway, Free Bitcoin". So guys just be careful downloading such files from the mail. Don't be greedy and give your device control to the hackers.

Are you receiving such as mail?
2795  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is it safe to use Binance on VPN on: October 23, 2021, 05:41:54 PM
I haven't been using VPN for Binance but seems a few users using that and doesn't face any issue at all.

I’ve been using Binance for approximately 4 years now, and I’ve always used a VPN; with me hopping country IPs too. Had no problem besides the annoying(but necessary) email verification due to the unrecognized IP.

But please read the terms & conditions of Binance. They might detect suspicious activity and have the right to suspend your account. When you are using a centralized exchange with strict rules, then you should avoid suspicious activities since funds are under the control of the exchange. I wouldn't be taking risks with my funds this way.
2796  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap hacked on: October 23, 2021, 05:24:19 PM
Thanks for the heads-up, a wasn't really aware of this. I can't recall if I have created an account there but I have clearly remembered that I had not bought anything from there. So I think I am safe from losing something except email. I am not sure why but for a few days I have been receiving a few spam mail including a few files to download, the title is something like free bitcoin, and so on. I am pretty sure they are all phishing attempts or included malware, so I just delete the mail without checking anything since I am not familiar with the mail address. I think everyone should be careful from such as mail.
2797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why is it difficult to apply TA on altcoins with low marketcap on: October 23, 2021, 04:24:36 PM
First of all, we know cryptocurrency prices depend on supply and demand. A low market cap means there is no demand for that coin and there is enough circulation as well. So the technical analysis would fail to predict accurately. I believe no predictions are accurate, a few predictions become true and few become false. The analysis wouldn't help if market demand isn't predictable which is quite impossible for low market cap coins. So I think that is the reason why low market cap and low volume coin wouldn't follow TA.
2798  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with new meme coins on: October 23, 2021, 04:12:40 PM
Coin meme or not it doesn't matter of legitimacy. If you ask me then I will say 98% token or coins doesn't have a real concept at all. All project has been running to raise funds and skip. A few coins list on the exchange but do not continue further developing processes, because they don't need to do so. They raised funds and enjoying with that. I will warn before investing in any new project, doesn't matter meme or not.

Even there is a potential concept but we can't do anything if they ignore further development. So it's very difficult to choose a real project nowadays due to scam trends. So investing in a good existing Coin is safer than a new project. You should very very careful during investing in a new project.
2799  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NEURONET [Pre-ICO] --Fake team on: October 22, 2021, 07:03:56 PM
Thanks mate for spot this scammer. I thought scammers change the strategy to scam us. Because very rarely I can see fake team allegations on the scam accusation lately. But seems still scammers using old tactics to scam innocent people. Using a fake team means a crime, doesn't matter who is behind the project. A fake team is an immediate red flag to me.

Support flag is done and tagged as well.
2800  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Scam] Safepal wallet Malicious Firefox add-on on: October 22, 2021, 06:57:06 PM
Thanks for sharing and awareness. I was unaware of that though I am not using safepal wallet ever. I am quite strict with using the extension in my browser and I am only using Google chrome. I only installed Metamaks extension but I hadn't used it. It's quite important to verify the source before installing any extension, otherwise, we might lose everything.

Anyway, keep exposing scammers.
