Must have a track record of escrow and would prefer a moderator. VERY substantial tip included ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Any suggestions would be great! Thanks *raises hand* I've escrowed over 110 transactions now, and god knows how much BTC transacted. The max I've escrowed is over 2.2k BTC a few weeks ago in one transaction, but I've held considerably more at one time from multiple users already. I'm also holding 1k BTC of the forum's funds.

So why does Ian Bakewell get all his posts undeleted and Usagi didn't? Usagi had 10 times the number of threads about his fraud back then - there was no shortage of forum attention. Usagi also deleted his personal website making this forum the only place where the information was archived. I guess the belief that mods only care about the frauds where they were victims is true.
This has nothing to do with Usagi. This thread refers to Bakewell alone. If you want to start bitching, go make your own thread. This, and as I said above I'm not affiliated nor invested with Bakewell. I've not invested a single bitcent in him, and expect that no mods/admins are invested in him either. It's just that the case is clear here. Sadly, I loaned him 60 BTC. ...Oops. I didn't know of that when I requested theymos to undelete his post, for all it's worth.

PS: I'm on UTC+8 now, so I might be not around when you PM me. Also, if I'm not replying to any of your PM's, please do it again as I receive 20+ PM's on average per day.
No worries, I could tell looking at your posting statistics that I had probably just missed you. Since I was looking for an escrow, I figured that posting here was as good as (better than?) sending you multiple PM messages. PM'ing would be a better bet then posting here actually. Almost all (if not all) escrow transactions by me are done via PM. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi, I've discovered this site ( http://www.cloudhashing.com/) but I can't find any information elsewhere about this service. It looks like a scam to me but it is a nicely put together one. I did contact them and they provided a quick reply stating that they'll promote more in the next few days. I then enquired about what would happen if BFL never ship their ASICs but haven't heard back from them since (it has only been an hour). Has anyone some recommendations about it ? I'm really curious as I've seen some other mining services where you can invest some small amount of money in their equipment. Thank you Please note that all of such services are outed as scams so far. I don't think this is much different.

Do we currently have a teamspeak, or IIRC server?
I tried searching for one, but couldn't find one.
I'm up for hosting a teamspeak server where people can chat and discuss things.
This is just an idea, tell me what you think.
We have a lot of IRC servers at #bitcoin , #bitcoin-otc and etc. Not too sure about teamspeak or IIRC servers though.

This is nuts, LTC and BTC is going insanely high.
Awesome.
Well, especially LTC. It's tripled or doubled in such a short span of time...

My escrow contract is attached.

The escrow address for Bitzing(the seller) and Ghostdog's(the buyer) transaction would be:
1A4Zy61v5XcoDmJ7265WLmtN7UW4ngdiqH
Please state and agree to the conditions (if item is received damaged, item lost with tracking, customs fee etc) beforehand.
If possible, GPG sign your agreement to prevent any discrepancies later on and please ship with tracking to prevent problems during delivery. GPG signing is not a requirement, and any verbal exchange in the form of private messages or posts on bitcointalk.org, or email is effective as a ‘statement of condition’.
The fine print: This Contract is solely generated for the purpose of facilitating the transaction between the seller and the buyer, which refers to the pseudonyms used on bitcointalk.org. The escrow holder, John, assumes and gives no liability or guarantees on the satisfaction of all parties involved, although he agrees to mediate and facilitate the deal to the fullest extent he is capable of. On the event that any problems arises, he will release the escrow to whichever party that presents him with the most convincing proof and/or after an open discussion with others or theymos. The verbal acceptance by both parties (or the failure to reject) and the sending of Bitcoins to the escrow address above constitutes the acceptance of the terms and conditions stated, and the activation of this Contract.
Please understand that I am doing this partly as a community service for members, I am assuming the risk of holding the escrowed Bitcoins, and I am using my own time to facilitate this transaction. If it does not represent a burden to do so, please tip me at 1NB1KFnFqnP3WSDZQrWV3pfmph5fWRyadz .
Thank you.

He has 2BTC in escrow from another trade that went south, hopefully he confirms or transfers to this contract. I will ship the last 1BTC once I receive my cashout from sealswithclubs.
According to blockexplorer/blockchain.info, the escrow address for the other deal is not funded at all. Reposted here too: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=164979.msg1722930#msg1722930My escrow contract is attached.

Confirmed.

You can. Choose Custom when doing a payment. Just be warned that it'll probably take a long time or even never confirm at all.

Bitcointalk has a loan section, correct?
Yes, we have one. However, please refrain the thought that we're an easy place for loans or anything. I'm just warning you in advance before you post there though, feel free to take a look at past threads there.

Well I'm currently here to get a loan to own a music venue or recording studio in this local town. We only have one venue which is incredibly popular but overall it lacks good music most of the time and its quite small. There's a warehouse right across the street from me that is vacant and is probably going to be destroyed soon so I want to turn it into a venue (and a recording studio since this place is huge). Would you guys ever consider investing in this? Music will never die and everyone loves seeing live music and will pay for it minus an occasional free show (coming out of my pocket).
Well, you're at the wrong forum for this. We're not a loaning forum or anything remotely related to angel investing. You need sites like: http://www.kiva.org/http://www.kickstarter.com/

Lol.
"Resilient against ASIC" means that ASIC makers aren't looking to investing in ASICS for Litecoin yet. There's no such thing like ASIC proof.
