2781  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ways to recover from being addicted in gambling. on: March 16, 2020, 07:01:08 PM
It was easy to say that we can escape from addiction but then, it is really hard to do it.
We cant say that there is no chance of being untied into addiction but of course, it needs to work hard on it and most probably it takes months (not days) before we are finally out from the circle.
Also depends on what level of addiction you are suffering from because if it is just an urge to gamble and you bust a few coins that's not a big issue and can be easily sorted by getting a job or something that consumes your time. But, if your addiction levels are higher and you feel like gambling is everything to you and everything else is just not as important than surely you are into some serious problem and the addiction will only grow more dangerous as time passes.

You must either visit a doctor or if you have a friend or family member whom you feel you have a bond with, then just discuss with them about how much you have lost and maybe they can help you realize how much you are loosing not just money but time and resources.
2782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does anyone pay for slandering gambling websites on Bitcointalk? on: March 14, 2020, 07:00:18 AM
I am pretty sure there are times when this was done but I am not entirely convinced that it is a common thing.

What I mean is, there must have been many cases that people paid others to slander other casinos because that would be great for any other casino, think about it in crypto world money is not something you can prove that is yours and call back, when your bank account gets emptied you can sue the bank for negligence and get your money back, however in crypto if your money is gone it is gone, so if you tell others that a casino is denying to give you your winnings, it would basically be a huge risk for that casino, hell there must have been people who have given negative trusts as well I am sure.

However, I just doubt its common, it must be rare thing.

I can't believe Liverpool lost! I had a decent chunk of money wagered on the game for Liverpool as well and I am sure many other people was too, I can't believe they failed this miserably so early into the champions league, I wouldn't be shocked if it was semi-finals or something but they are not going to even see quarter finals.

I guess I underestimated Athletico Madrid way too much or maybe some sort of trouble is going on with Liverpool that we do not see. They are literally leading premier league in a record shape yet they had their first lost there as well recently and they had trouble in champions league group stage and now lost two games in a row as well. I don't know which team to root for from the reaminers but it's cool that at least PSG won so I made some of my money back even if not all.

^^ Yeah, there is doubtfully any other explanation, rodolman is a big whale that can afford to lose 30 btc and still wouldn't be out in the streets with huge loans he can't pay and goes hungry and homeless. If I ever had 30 bitcoin debt... well I couldn't ever get 30 bitcoin into debt because nobody would even give me 30 bitcoin since they would know there is no way I can pay that back with this little amount of money I make.

So, whales do gamble with money they can afford to lose when they want to, rodolman is one of them, go around the casino world of crypto and check all competitions and you will see many like rodolman who wagers a ton more than anyone of their competitions.
2786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you share at least one gambler who have become rich in gambling? on: March 03, 2020, 06:19:14 PM
Only dealers and owners of a casino are the only ones who can be rich with gambling because all of our losses are their source of income. Gamblers can really be rich from gambling, but most gamblers don't have any control to themselves, that is why they easily lose all of their winnings in gambling.
Being in this gambling industry for so long I have noticed that gamblers can win but only through wrong ways, let me explain a few methods I personally seen gamblers taking advantage of and how they use it for their benefits.

1- Sports Betting: Wrong Markets is a common mistake that often happens on sports betting and some people take advantage of such markets for example a a betting event has finished but for some glitch the casino offers odds on it.

2- Dice: There have been numerous cases where the gambler would find a flaw in the code and utilize it. Even primedice has been victim of such hackers.

Apart from malpractice there is no way a gambler can win money in long term.

-snip

That what makes this faucet/gambling site good or better than others, so members have 3 ways to generate passive income. But there are many people that can't even understand passive income maybe they never will.
its easy to understand the word passive income but you can explain more deeply to them about the sites benefits  , in that way you can be more believable   . freebit is indeed better  than a regular faucet as its have many features however there are still people that are lazy enough to claim on faucets and also not have a balance to invest on the site    . that is only thier reason on why its hard to invite active people on here  , whales are also hard to invite because they wont hardly listen to small people like us
People simply think that "passive income" is just income you get for doing nothing at all. That is not how it works at all, you have to work for it at the start but you do not have to keep working for it to come. Just to give an example, freebitcoin affiliate income.

If you invite a lot of people to freebitcoin and work hard to have a lot of affiliates, that is hard work, it is not passive at all and you spend hours and days and weeks to get those people and even spend a decent chunk of money as well yet the passive part comes later, after you did those things you just simply have affiliates who will do stuff that will make you money while you are doing nothing and even asleep. That is what passive income is, not simply just getting free money by doing nothing.
2788  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are your criteria to go back/sticking with one particular gambling house on: March 03, 2020, 03:33:04 PM
My Criteria ,

1. Loads quick
2. Good design ( I give this a lot of importance , I like simple designs )
3. Cashbacks or Rakeback ( I don't like freebies but I certainly like getting points for every bet I have made )
4. Quick response for queries from the support team . ( If this lacks then the owners are not serious with their business )

I love bitvest because the community is good and so is the team .
I almost agree on all your points but having an active support team is a must for me and the most important in the list you mentioned. Apart from what you have mentioned, I have a few demands too Grin.

1- Instant Deposit and Cashout
2- No KYC at least for small amounts
3- some VIP levels not for rakeback but for exclusive bonuses like sending a small gift which might be a cash bonus or some physical gift.

Now a days there are so many good ones out there that it is hard for us gamblers to choose the best one, while they also suffer how to attract gamblers if they are already stick with another one.
2789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: process vs outcome on: March 03, 2020, 02:31:49 PM
Some gamblers care about the process, There are people who trust in the process, It's not rare to see that kind of people but everyone here is hoping for a good outcome of the thing they are doing. Most of us believe that following the right process will increase the odds or make your desired outcome more possible.
Yeah, some passionate guys do love the process like I am one of them who loves betting on sports and when I make bets on a particular event it gives me extra energy while watching that event while if I am not betting on it, I am though supporting a particular team or player but I don't feel the same level of energy and this makes me bet more and more on my favorite sports like tennis and sometimes NBA.

It's true that some risk-takers are the one who didn't care about the process and just hoping for a good outcome, But I believe that there are many people care about the process to get the outcome they want.
Most of the guys who don't care about process must be those who bet on dice or roulette kind of games where the result is instant and doesn't involve the gambler.
2790  Economy / Gambling / Re: ♨️🎲 WINDICE.io 🎲 0.2 BTC Wagering Contest 🔰 Progressive Faucet💰 Jackpots 🎁❤ on: March 03, 2020, 12:40:04 PM
I see these contests as something gamblers would already play anyway and that is why they do not care about the house edge parts. That or maybe they continue as long as the profit is there, so maybe rodolman gambled 30+ all because he gambled and was in profit and wanted to keep going as high as he can to win it while staying in profit as well, maybe he would have stopped if he was in minus but with the reward and all dude was making profit so decided not to stop.

Either of those options must be the reason because no other sane person would both lose money all that much, care about it deeply and still continue to wager that much. So, either rich person or a lucky gambler.
2791  Economy / Economics / Re: Corona Virus is a Fake Flag to destroy China! on: March 03, 2020, 05:55:29 AM
Well, if the virus was created, then by who? I don’t know if any of you have read this book that’s called ‘the eyes of darkness’ by Dean Koontz? I didn’t read the book to the end, but it was kind of suspicious and seems to relate to what’s happening in the world today. The book was talking about a biological weapon that was created by the Chinese (I don’t think it’s a true story though) was carried by their scientist who defected to the United States.

The biological weapon in the book was called ‘Wuhan-400’ which is the same city where this Corona virus started in real life lol. And that’s where it gets kind of suspicious. The book says that the weapon affects only humans and nothing else. I read to this point and didn’t go further. It seems to relate to what’s happening now. Like, I’m starting to think there are people behind all these.
2792  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 02, 2020, 08:18:50 PM
A virus will not just fly from nowhere into your computer or smartphone. Your system will contact a virus if you keep clicking links that you know nothing about and also downloading apps that you don’t know about. There are apps that are owned by hackers and they can do anything once they have access to your computer or smartphone, and for them to have such an access you must have downloaded their app or clicked their link. That is why you have to be careful and avoid all these and also unsolicited mails that arrive in your inbox.

I mostly make use of smartphone cryptocurrency wallets like BitPay, Blockchain, Xapo and Coinbase and I have never had any problem with any of them. I store coins differently. These are the risks you got to take when making use of cryptocurrency, that’s why you’re always told to invest an amount you can risk.
2793  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PEOPLE WILL NEVER STOP FALLING FOR SCAM on: March 02, 2020, 07:34:10 PM
One thing you have to understand is that people are looking for means that will make them quick money. If it’s possible for them to make 500% of their investment in 1 hour, they will do that lol. That’s why they keep on losing their money, it’s their greediness that is causing it for them. This is not a new thing to me because I have seen such people a lot of times.

Some of my friends that once asked me about Bitcoin, at first they thought that Bitcoin was a means to get rich quick within few days and when I explain to them that that’s not how it works, they lose interest. I don’t even bother to ask them about it, because it’s none of my business, I don’t care. I am not even the type that goes around telling people about Bitcoin because some of them are foolish and they can do anything later and make mistake and blame you later.

REFERRAL COMMISSION RATES

FREE BTC 50% of base prize
MULTIPLY BTC / BETTING 0.40% of wager / bet
EARN BTC 25% of daily interest
Ohhhh I didn't know we were getting paid for the money they keep on their accounts, that must have been why I have some sort of stable income from affiliates even when they are not gambling. That opens up a whoooole another level of affiliate marketing opportunities, I usually aimed it at people who were super poor and told people that they can get free money from here and they joined and some stays but others leave because they find the faucet not enough.

Now that I know there is money to be made from others making interest, I could potentially just invite whales to freebitcoin and tell them they could make %4 interest on whatever they deposit and I would make 25% of their daily interest as well. This changes sooooo much things.
2795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: March 02, 2020, 05:00:41 PM
Seriously Spurs hired Mourinho to be their savior and Mourinho was again looking like he is going to disappoint a premier league team. Dude was hired by united as well last year and he couldn't find a job until Spurs hired him, if he continues like this until the end of the season and do not change stuff around I am pretty sure that his coaching career will take a HUGE hit.

You can't be hired middle of the season to save a team and lose two in a row, you have a huge team in your hands and you need to be in top 5 if you are seen a manager at that level. Wolves is good too do not get me wrong, they are definitely one of the better teams in the league but Spurs has to be better if Mourinho wants to keep his job.
2796  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you tried explaining provable fairness to old-school gamblers? on: March 02, 2020, 04:08:33 PM
They won't do into details that is very complicated for them, maybe they will just look at the site's reputation, if there are a lot of gamblers playing without complaints, then they'll go play with the site. Nowadays, with the advent of internet, it's not hard to educate the old school gamblers, if they are interested to know, there's a youtube video that would explain about provably fair.
Actually these verification no matter how experienced we are still sometimes trick users, I mean recall what happened with dicebitco.in they were scamming users since a long time  and they were caught only after a player was brutally getting losing streaks of 10 and he started to suspect there is something wrong happening. You may find all details here, read a few posts around this one and you will know the story: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=716312.msg8717762#msg8717762

By the way, if you are making lower number of bets its possible to verify each bet but if you make bulk number of bets it is usually impossible to verify them all, I am talking about bets where we start automated betting at 500-1000 satoshi minimum bet
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting strategy. on: March 02, 2020, 12:18:57 PM
Unfortunately, I am still new in sports betting but here is what I usually do after a win is only betting again with a percentage of the value I won, then splitting them up again so shit doesn't happen if I lose. I've been betting through toto-123.com . You need to be smart and careful tho
I was reading around and saw that a friend of yours makes good profit with sports betting and even banned by bookies so I will advice that you take some tips from him and bet on those events.

If you ask my advice, I would say that you must always bet same on all events, I mean do not over-bet on the same event, like I used to bet too much on cricket like I was confident that England is going to make 300 runs I would usually bet over 300.5 and other bets that also cope with that result that means if 300 runs are not made I will most likely loose other bets too which is a wrong idea because no matter how confident you are don't over bet on same event.

each one thinks differently and even if Khabib is the favourite to win it’ll yet be a good match to match, and we should thank
Lol, don't look at me saying that about the fight, I will be one of the first one in line to wager for that fight Cheesy. I just meant as in not the entertainment sort of value that you would see in a match with controversy and so forth. Just to give an example last time Khabib and Mcgregor fight there was a lot of out of ring stuff that happened beforehand and even right after the fight as well so it wasn't really a docile event, I just meant that way. Otherwise it is Khabib and it is for the belt as well so it will definitely have a great quality fight when it comes down to inside the ring event, that will be one of the best fights we see in 2020 for sure.

I will still wager for Khabib tho Cheesy. Easier money to be made there if you ask me.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a spreadsheet for you wins and losses for tax purposes? on: March 02, 2020, 07:08:21 AM
I never make spreadsheet for my gambling because I only use free money from faucet, airdrop, give away and bonus deposit. Always disciplines with rules to avoid addicted because the main problem is not about win or loss but about addicted. This problem only can reduce by disciplines and I must say also giving positive impact into my trading activity. Use gambling to train your psychology, experience and money can get at the same time.

For a person who is addicted to gambling, it would be useful to fill in the spreadsheet and specify all the amounts that he lost on gambling. Then at the end of the month, you can sum up and count how much money was irretrievably lost for the month. This can sober a person up and make them stop gambling.
Exactly and this is similar to how some people manage their house budget as they will always write up how much money was spent on what and they will review it every month for example if someone notices they are spending 20% of their monthly budget in shopping, movies, etc they could easily tighten up and save more.

Similarly in gambling when you have a record of how much you are loosing it gives you control over gambling and another thing to note is how much time you are spending into gambling because not just money but the time spent on gambling and other entertainment activities needs to be monitored and hence controlled. For someone who doesn't keep a spreadsheet of their losses they cannot control their addiction let alone the tax purposes and other aspects.
2800  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 01, 2020, 06:28:33 PM
Inter is in kind of a weird place right now, they are 2 games behind Lazio and one game behind Juventus with one of them being against Juventus. So, if they win those two games they would get 6 points and be at 60 points, still not enough to be the leader in the league and be 2 points behind current Lazo and even if Juventus loses to Inter they are basically at the same place so nothing is over for anyone right now.

However, if Juventus wins, that doesn't change too much for Lazio and Juventus themselves but that would basically end Inters chances for the title, sure its football and anything could happen but it would most probably be a game over for them. I personally think Inter will win against Sampdoria when they play but will lose to Juventus and end the league at third place.
