Not yet, many old coin was drop price and have more lower price than before. I have some altcoin on my wallet more than two years, but nothing change of their price with still more lower price. maybe need more than ten years to see its be lower or higher.
Most of those well known coins pumped last quarter of 2017 then fell together with bitcoin after, though most of them really dumped and still coping with their current position but slowly taking some steps upwards while bitcoin also trying to rise back again, profitable indeed if you understand their progress and value for long term investment, patience and trust after studying the actual project. |

I think this cycle will continue and cannot be stopped as long as the cryptocurrency world is still alive. The current price dependence of altcoins from Bitcoin is indeed the biggest problem now for the cryptocurrancy currency market. Such a situation cannot be considered a market, if all cryptocurrancy currencies depend on the price of Bitcoin. This is no longer a market. The market will only be available if each coin or independent token is in the price policy.
The biggest problem I see also is the market price, when the price goes down, the investors are loosing their investments and they are also loosing their trust in crypto and do panic selling sometimes. Needs to change attitude, this type of market really have its pumped and dumped moment, investors needs to realize that selling when dumped still ongoing will just let their money to lose while waiting is the best thing to do from the moment like this. panic should not be part of any trading / investment mentality, buy low sell high or buy and hold should be consider. |

It might be true and im really hoping that it will happen. Afterall the Fuds that we've been hearing I think its about time to believe that btc is here to stay and those regulations that they want to implement to stop btc will fade in time.

to be honest , i did a lot of mistakes from the past , up until now in the crypto industry but so far those mistakes are only lite and didnt manage to make me poor instantly . those mistakes are merely wrong decesion making ( e.g buying high and then selling low , selling without waiting for the right time , got scammed by fake bounties and other micro jobs , etc )
but overall , i didnt give up easily because i know that those failure in life is only normal . i know that if can push myself more , i will soon achieved my dreams .
Whenever you are still positive in any point, you will be able to survive and learned how to be much better, mistakes are common because even experience traders sometimes miscalculate the possible outcome, and with big whales manipulations its really harder predicting the right position to take, better to continue and not giving up right away those who did made a big mistake quitting without even trying much deeper. |

I think you need to be patient in making decisions, don't sell your ETH at the current price, you better hold your ETH, wait for the price to pass 600 $ and you will feel the benefits of what you buy at 600 $.

I don't think you can call them cowards. Everyone wants to see how their Deposit grows, and not how it melts, they are just inexperienced and afraid to lose all the money.
Better answer, they are just inexperienced who thinks that this market can bring them quick gains, and when things didn't come up according to their plans they just went away and accept their loses, instead of being calmed they just cash out, as fear eat them alive and allow them to walk away without doing any hard research, it should be study well and should use money that can afford to keep for long wait. |

it takes a long time if crypto replaces fiat currency or local currency, the government must first legalize crytpo currency, only then can it compete with fiat currency
For me, no replacing to each other because it is defferent forms, althrough it is the same money but the crypto is a digital currency. I think crypto and fiat will the same alive forever, no competation to each other. Same can exist and can be usable even in the future of currency as many still comfortable using fiat and most of them won't like to change the way they understand the currency, digital money will be used by the digital world as crypto can be the future of coming generations, it can be adopt sooner and can be an alternative for those who fully understand the benefits. |
