2781  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Some Errors We Make In Trading Crypto on: April 12, 2022, 10:04:16 PM

  • Crypto is not a get-rich-quick scheme- so seeing it as one is a big error and can lead to a lot of other mistakes and loses.

This is where i do believe that most people do really not missed out on thinking up this way specially when we are still a noob or new into this market where we do really have that thinking on making ourselves rich in a short time with crypto investment or trading and with this kind of mindset and impression then that would really result into careless actions and since we are just new then even
just doing the very basic risk management would be missed out which would result into losses and thats the time we do make out some realizations that dealing with this market isnt something
simple as it looks. First impressions would not always last in the end specially into this market.
2782  Economy / Gambling / Re: PRIMEDICE weak self-exclusion system on: April 12, 2022, 09:28:04 PM
If someone is really addicted to gambling then I don't think any of these would help any site. It's a hot topic, but gamblers are not forced to keep playing on the site. Each site has its own system to manage a self-exclusion. But many gamblers request an exclusion and then continue playing under another account. Someone who likes to gamble and is addicted cannot be stopped in that respect through a self-exclusion. This has not anything to do with weak or bad system.
I do even see that exclusion feature is something that irrelevant specially if people got addicted with gambling because it would be pointless for someone who do make out some request but still not able

to solve out that addiction problem that they do have inside.Whenever they had been blocked already or the exclusion had made done well but if their motives and aims still intact on playing gambling then it would really be just be useless and for this one, it turns out that and obviously can be seen that this guy is a gambling addict and now making out some blames.
2783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptopia on: April 10, 2022, 09:31:34 AM
for now I don't get an email about the claim. But I have tried to make a claim in 2020 and until now there has been no notification about whether my claim has been received or not...
but what happened in cryptopia which has been happening for so long has indirectly been forgotten ,and I also can't expect much about btc and some tokens that are there because the old wound has healed

This platform did not have a good reputation since the late years of its activity after it was discovered that it supports tokens for scammed projects and that it sets financial conditions only for its inclusion on the platform, as I remember. This is in addition to the fact that its support team never responds quickly enough.
After the recent incident, people actually lost their trust in it and they didn't even care much about the money they lost. It has been two years since they announced that they will return the users' money, and as we see to this day, nothing has happened or not mentioned that anyone has actually succeeded in recovering his savings.
But at least we are seeing some effort or steps for having the possibility of recovery of those amounts as a user of this exchange. No one really anticipates that they have done something like this because

if you do tend to look on similar cases, platforms do close up their doors totally but there were exemptions considering that some instances where funds cant really be retrieved down or does have
some chance or simply it would be situational.

Its been a while on this Cryptopia hack and now they do have some portal for those old users who could possibly make out some claims which is something good but not really be that hopeful.
You cant even be sure if they would really be giving it back or not.
2784  Economy / Gambling / Re: BK8 - Biggest and Most Trusted Brand. Asia's #1 Crypto online casino BTC & USDT on: April 10, 2022, 08:43:56 AM
Fishing game can be a good idea as it can be the first competition in this forum with this kind of game.
The fishing game competition will be one of the unique competencies in the forum and also anti-mainstream Grin

it would be interesting if there was a multiplier competition for the fishing game :v
@BK8.Official
I want to try a fishing game, can it make a lot of money?
Dont expect to make lots of money but there should be some chances because gambling is pure luck specially on these type of games.Just like on what been said above ^.
This is almost similar to slots but having that steroids.  Grin Wasnt expecting to see such site offering fish games and its interesting to see for this particular game
but dont expect that you would win easily. If you are lucky enough then you might do able to hit it but well you know on how gambling works.
2785  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is it really possible to earn money through the service section ? ANSWERED on: April 09, 2022, 09:58:44 PM
Listen, if you have the skill it doesn't matter where you are. You can sell your skill. A lot of people earn from the service section. The question is what is your service and how are you trusted. If none of the forum members don't like to buy your service there are a lot of places where you may sell it. Look for a marketplace like Fiverr or Upwork. Someone definitely will buy your service. Most demand on the forum is crypto-related skills and design-related works. And of course, you need to be trusted somehow.
Not bad to try up on selling something or offering service on this forum even if you are just a noob.Well, its true that trust and reputation do matter most of the time but its not impossible for them to
sell out but its true that if you do find yourself not effective on this market then there are several places or options which you could definitely able to try.The more the better odds on getting on what
you are seeking for but expect that competition would really be tough on which this thing do makes it a bit harder.

Earning money would really be varying on someone skills and if you do see a particular demand or in need then its just common sense that you would apply.
2786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the society matured enough to handle privacy? on: April 09, 2022, 07:49:16 PM
Crypto technology seems to be getting more and more powerful, in fact very many say it will replace fiat in the future. But if you look back, making crypto or bitcoin that can replace fiat in any transaction is very difficult to implement. Crypto technology is all over the world, but not everyone can use this technology. there are even primitive societies, they still live naturally.
People should really realize and accept the fact that it wont really be possible or totally impossible as long government does exist then this wont really happen.Speaking with primitive societies then its

true which not all corners of the world are really that aware of its existence thats why traditional or the common fiat system would really still remain.
About privacy then expect that there would be people whom do really taking out some advantage when it comes to its anonymity which is already that anticipated or expected.
2787  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 08, 2022, 11:41:26 PM
Winning too much is not the fault of gambler who will playing mainly for winning. If winning is a sin then why gambler will play on their site. So, this type of system should be removed.
If any user abuse the system of bonus then the user should be banned/limited  as a punishment. More than one account is not necessary for a user so it is okay too. And the behavior should not be aggressive if aggressive then they may ban. Could not understand what is the fault of ignoring offer of bonus and promotions??
Same impression about the bonus and promotions. It's tough to complete those, that is why most of the gamblers just skip them but why will they look suspicious after that? lol. It should be the gamblers that abused the promotion and bonus are going to be suspicious. There are gamblers that have more than one account for some reasons like they self refer it with their main account and it is allowed in some gambling sites like stake.com. I didn't tried it but that is what I saw/heard from my long time of staying there.

I am not really that active in depositing and in gambling so I didn't bother to use that trick. There is also nothing wrong in winning too much, as long as the win is legit but winning too much can be rare because gambling sites always have an advantage.
Winning too much is usually not a big problem but if you keep on winning constantly then there could be a reason why they could limit you, mainly to check how you have been winning and see if you have done any tricks. That is how they prevent getting hacked by someone who found a glitch.

They limit your withdrawal as well and offer you sympathies for a while and maybe even offer you gifts if they found nothing at all. That is why I believe it is normal for someone who keeps winning all the time to get their account blocked for a while, if it is forever then it is a problem but it is normal if it is temporary, so that the casino could check what they have been doing.
As an owner of a gambling business then it would be normal that you would really be highly reactive with this kind of behavior thats why these kind of restrictions or blocking  would really be normal.

If you are that innocent on doing something then you wont really be that thrilled nor panic out if ever security measures or alerts kicks in.It is really that normal for businesses like this
but dont worry if something that cant be proved out.
2788  Economy / Economics / Re: Read If you are between 18 and 68 years old! on: April 08, 2022, 10:17:28 PM
It's a good strategy to divide a long-term plan into multiple milestones and then work them one by one. It reduces our stress and short-term achievement motivates us to work. We will be more motivated if after every achievement we give ourselves rewards for achieving our goal.

That's how I also like to do my hard work. Make it short make it easy. But time management is also important if you want to build a long-lasting habit about your progress.
That is a very basic tactic and yet it is one that is incredibly effective, and not only it works when it comes to complex and difficult tasks, it works on everything, for example many newbies coming to the market today have dreams of getting one bitcoin but they do not have the money to get one immediately, if instead of concentrating in that fact they took small steps like buying 100 dollars worth of bitcoin every month, maybe they will not reach their goal but they will get in the right path which will lead them to one day reach financial independence.
All matters with someones mindset and goal in mind or in life because you wont really able to reach that line if you wont persevere and wont sustain yourself into different challenges.

We are all hoping to have a better life in terms of finances and those results would really be depending on how hard you do work for it thats why it would vary on several factors.
Save and invest on different sectors or industries as much as you could and it would be better as young as you could as long you do able to do so.
2789  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you agree market behavior has changed? on: April 08, 2022, 07:21:31 PM

There are many tools and indicators all traders use to predict the market and buy and sell assets! When most people use the same tools , there is no more competitive advantage between them and everyone one will act the same! They receive the same signal and same prediction! Thus there is no contrast in the market technically , we believe the market is not running technically like before and we are expecting major changes , What do you Think?

Traders use different indicators to create new strategies to find market trends. The market will move at its own pace, the market reacts differently at different times. If the market goes into a trend with fundamental effects, it will fool a lot of traders. So indicators alone are not enough to find the next trend in the market. In order to find the market trends, a trader has to be a good trader, so that everything can be researched and the right trade can be taken.
In short, you would really be needing to be versatile and knowledgeable on making use of different indicators on different conditions or situations and just like on what most people been saying on here

that market was totally unpredictable and random in the first place. We cant determine if it has changed overtime in terms of technical analysis precision or not over all the years that had passed.
Whenever you do find yourself a little bit problematic with your past strategies then it isnt really bad to consider out on making out some changes which is a must.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: April 08, 2022, 05:54:35 PM
This is great news! But not something that shocking I suppose. With their actions all this time, it is pretty obvious that they have been eyeing the crypto industry for quite some time now and are just looking for better entries. Not that I'm hating crypto.com for it. With this though, we can see that mass adoption is increasing and the gamblers are loving it. More opportunities and more options. I am looking forward to crypto.com's future actions.
I have seen a lot of cryptocurrency advertisements all over the football tournaments this period and crypto.com FIFA sponsorship will help to publicize cryptocurrency for more global adoption.
But not for this year since they have failed on getting that sponsorship but on the side note they had made out some recent announcement.
https://www.coindesk.com/business/2022/04/07/ufc-to-pay-bitcoin-bonuses-to-athletes-in-cryptocom-partnership/
Crypto.com to Pay Bitcoin Bonuses to UFC Fighters

This might not be talking about sponsorship but rather a good advertisement or exposure on Bitcoin or crypto as a whole.
2791  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you, or would you ever use a Bitcoin ATM? on: April 07, 2022, 11:22:09 PM
I've seen them pop up all around me, in small convenience stores and even restaurants. I was wondering if it's a good option to buy a gift for someone else, or are the fees too high and it's not worth it? Also I'm not sure how it works but figuring they give you a private key, and how safe is that?
https://hermesbitcoin.com/learn/are-bitcoin-atms-safe/

They are safe (unless it was illegally installed) but unfortunately, I didn't try using this for it wasn't yet available in our place. But I/m not sure how much is the cost per transaction or that something expensive? Some people have said that the fees were expensive, which is probably a reason why the majority are still prepared to use fiat money. I had figured out that even though this will exists in my country, people are barely using this stuff.
I've also heared the fees are expensive, and even though there isn't any ATM disponible around me, I have no intention of using this, because every features needed to deal with bitcoin can be found on online websites or apps (exchanges) that can be accessed through mobile devices anywhere, where customers pay cheap fees, if they choose the service wisely.

As I see, ATMs are more like a visual, physical propaganda for bitcoin than anything else.
Bitcoin ATM fees are expensive but for the sake of exploring and be aware on how these thing works then having one try or a couple times wont really be that a bad idea just to have some familiarization.

So far i havent tried on using one but if i do have the chance then i would definitely be doing this but not generally a way for me to buy bitcoin yet i could able to do so in much cheaper way.
Good thing for those countries who do have Bitcoin ATM's compared into those who have none or totally be blocked or prohibited.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin - a joke or a way to make money? on: April 07, 2022, 10:18:45 PM
Dogecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrency that have survived more than 10 years. During the same time period more cryptocurrencies have come to usage and have got out of the market. It may be created as a joke or a memecoin, but it had got some usage which kept it alive. Recently Elon Musk made use of it, and nowadays more services accepting dogecoin is a real growth. People who haven't thought of bagging doge have now begun to accumulate dogecoin, because someday it'll profit.

That's certainly true, mate. Dogecoin is one of the oldest cryptocurrencies in existence. I'm pretty sure it will survive for a long time, thanks to the strong community backing it every step of the way. Joke or not, the cryptocurrency's been one of the most rock-solid projects since its inception. Despite being created as a "meme" coin, you can still make money from it if you take advantage of the market's ups and downs.

As a serious investment, I'd recommend anyone to look elsewhere due to the way DOGE was designed. Thanks to Elon Musk, Dogecoin has reached a greater presence in the mainstream world. As long as you don't invest more than what you can't afford to lose, you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin
It wont really last for that long if it was really a total garbage at all and its true that its an old project/coin in the market and still kicking nowadays which does indicates that  there's really a demand or

support on the community. It might had been created for that impression of being a meme or joke coin but when it comes to utilities and cheap fees and fast transactions then this one could really be having that utility.

Speaking of making money then the ones who do trust up this coin when it is really that starting are the ones who do make enourmous profits and to those who do able to make
some early entry or buying opportunity then we know on what happened next.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 07, 2022, 09:12:56 PM
We cannot either confirm what's the status of that said lawsuit because there's no information that can be found on the internet as well, but speaking of being optimistic, I hope that they have solved it even before the lawsuit goes to the court. I'm starting to think that way because there's really no signs that Casimero is affected nor worried about that lawsuit that was filed by the alleged victim.

Paul Butler is the who should have worry because the date is near for him to be defeated, his only hopes in winning is getting a sub for Casimero but that won't happen this time.
We will not know what happened with that case until more information comes forward, we must remember that even if now information moves at an incredible speed this is not the same for the law, when it comes to the law months or even years can pass before a case moves forward, so maybe there is an investigation ongoing, negotiations to resolve the case off the court could be taking place, or the case is on hold until the lawyers of the alleged victim make a move.
Let's hope that it's really what is happening, or best if that case is just a rumor to distract Casimero. There are things really that we don't know happening to their personal life, we know Casimero being a trash talking but we didn't know he has a history of sexually harassing women.
We do have our own personal lives in the past and as a popular boxer or athlete then we dont really know on what are their past experience or histories in regarding with some situations which do really

causes for them to have some pending case file or something but basing on what i had noticed and observed that fights wont really be that be postponed despite on having a pending case or something
like that which is unlikely for this upcoming fight to be postponed ones again unless if there would be some sort of health issues once again.

Casimero need to continue the fight whatever disturbance exist, if we look at the news seems the issue is not taking much airtime to the mainstream and I guess this will not be the cause of another delay or the reason for the fight to be postponed so there's no point for thinking that their fight between Butler will not happen. I think Casimero is already preparing for that fight and for sure we can see him in great shape again.
It would really able to continue if it would really be permitted or these issues wont really be making out some or would lead into decisions on stopping it and even Casimero does really like to fight then

there's nothing he could do if ever things becomes more worst or severe but just like you do  said on which these kind of circumstances doesnt really generate that much of an issue which
might really be affecting upcoming boxer fights but lets see on how they would able to handle out these situations.
2794  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bot trading setup for hedging on: April 07, 2022, 08:00:03 PM
Hi,

I am new to this forum and also new when it comes to bot trading, could someone please advise what type of bot should I use for my hedging needs. What I need is a bot that can guarantee me if BTC falls under a certain price lets say for example 40k I have a short position and to close that position if the price rises again to 40k and than to repeat the process automatically. Unfortunately I can't insert an image to make it more clear
You dont need bots for this one since you could able to take these orders or positions on an exchange platform whether you do make out orders on possible price point whether you do set SL or TP

and execute another one.Just like on what others been saying about bot then its not really that good when it comes to be that dependent about bots but if you are really that aware and knowledgeable
on using that then it would really be helpful for automation process but dont expect or anticipate that much.
2795  Economy / Economics / Re: Sanctions left and right, Can the Russian economy survive? on: April 07, 2022, 12:03:16 AM
Maybe they can survive if they have a good choice of development. But we know that Russian have many knowledge in many things that's why it's not easy to survive also in the present of Russian country.
Here are some experts view about this Ukraine war which do make out big effects on Russias economic state.

Vladimir Putin’s war on Ukraine and the global response to it will drastically alter Russia’s economic future, setting the country back 30 years, experts say.

As the country’s economy collapses, the exodus of global brands will give rise to a profound shift in how middle-class citizens will make and spend their money.

Experts say the coming period of Russian economic isolation could last at least five years, but more likely will be measured in decades.

Source: https://www.cnbc.com/2022/03/14/putins-invasion-of-ukraine-will-knock-the-russian-economy-back-by-30-years.html

Its impossible that Putin wasnt aware the probabilities but actually they would really be facing it later on.

2797  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Scams now the second largest in the world on: April 06, 2022, 09:14:43 PM
Working in finance one thing that I’ve been taught / take financial licensing exams for is how to watch out for scams, and it’s honestly never been a surprise to me that bitcoin /cryptocurrency have become such huge scam havens. So few people take the time to study how it works but think they can get rich quick so they hop in blindly.

As long as money is involved, you really watch out for scams. I agree that bitcoin will be used for this, but what I have noticed is that way back in 2016, I really saw a lot of scams using this, but people always fell for it. It is unlike now that people are aware of it and knew that it would be a scam, but here in our place, I don't know what is happening. Scammers are really approaching you in real life or real accounts on social media to present any ponzi schemes, and a lot of people got scammed by it. When they hear about bitcoin, they are eager to invest their money in it.
If we do tend to severity of scams back in the past and comparing to now then we could definitely say that people do really become even more wiser when it comes to investment. It might not totally

get ridding of it but the numbers had really lessen out all over the years which does indicate that we are really that becoming more aware on how scams and frauds do really happen on this market.

Watch out for scams because they are everywhere.Dont make yourself greedy to be fooled enough on something like this.
2798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You don't need to hodl a particular coin all your life on: April 06, 2022, 08:15:17 PM
Well this happen to me a long time to hold and forget to sell lmao Tongue and in the end the coin I hold is ended up being a scam so I got nothing. I agree when we can sell the coin so we can buy top 10 altcoins or bitcoin the safest crypto rather than long term hold a project that can be scammed anytime. I'm not sad when that happens but that becomes an experience for me so I can decide the best move for next coin/token.
It should be noted that if the coin you are holding is not a good coin then when there is value and it is good enough for you then I think at that time sell it, because there is no need to hold it any longer, in the end, it becomes a useless coin with nothing the value, I always throw away new coins even though the price is quite decent because for me coins that are not popular will tend to be a scam if held for longer.
Nothing but moving it to the main coin, namely Bitcoin.
Its a matter of your own analysis whether you do trust the project or coin you been holding for long term or not because there are really instances on which we do really mind off on selling it once we do

see some opportunity for us to do so and there are instances on which we dont care nor skip out just because we  are really that aiming for long term which is something depends on someones particular goals.Yes, we dont need to hold for all of our life but it would really be basing on someones particular goals or targets which would really vary to each other.
2799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 05, 2022, 11:54:12 PM
He got his own title as the "Pinoy Flash" just like how Pilipino adores Pacquiao. Donaire also has that popularity even he's not locally

yhup he's a proud filipino fighter and even he lives in US he still carrying fiilipino flag inside the ring that's why fililinos are very proud of him also.
And i remember when i was a kid because he's always the second most popular boxer here in our country, wherein, people are very excited and love to watch his fight, although not the same with Pacquiao that it look like a holiday always in the Philippines when there's a fight.  Cheesy

We will be more proud of him if he beats Inoue as that would put him in the number 1 ranking in the bantamweight division. Next step, will be fighting his fellow which is Casimero to become an undisputed champion, though some people think he is already old, but man this guy is still capable of knocking out young champions, so these are all possible.

Even if not we will still proud of him since he sealed his legacy already and we know how prime Donaire fight against his opponent. But if he could able to win this fight and stain the record of one of the most hype fighter of this era then provably this is one of the great achievement he will get before he retires. This is great last shot to him since maybe he will retire after this fight knowing that he's old already to have further more match.

Donaire surprised the boxing community by winning a belt and defending it via another knockout against Gaballo also a very dangerous and young fighter, Donaire has had many ups and downs in his career, and he may well be on another run for greatness, no he is not old, a fighter like Donaire will not retire because he thinks he is old, he will retire if he keeps continuing losing and losing badly.
He's still 39 years old which i could consider to be old but wont really be that old for him to consider on hanging out his gloves. He could still beat up possible opponents ahead and now that he had some

chance on making out some rematch with Inoue which had beaten him up on last then he had the chance to make out some revenge or comeback which would really persevere him even more.
Its a bit exciting that it do really ended up to this instead of Casimero but its still a good fight to watch on.
2800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How would crypto fare without centralized exchanges? on: April 05, 2022, 10:56:42 PM

On centralize exchanges accounts of users can be blocked. Also there are hackers who hack centralize exchanges. That is why many people prefer to use DeFi. For DeFi security is important like this https://twitter.com/MissionDogeOne/status/1506922981636952066

The more popular the DeFi exchanges the more people use them. So the liquidity of DeFi exchanges grows and they are albe to win competition with centralize exchanges.

People must be sure that their funds are kept in a safe place. The accounts on centralize exchanges can be blocked or banned. That is why many people prefer to use DeFi products and their adoption grows.
Yes, we could see the volume on here.
https://www.theblockcrypto.com/data/decentralized-finance/dex-non-custodial

So the trend did really make out some effects in terms of volume
but lets just accept the fact that it couldnt still beat up CEX when it comes to that.

Why? As long it doesnt really involved fiat conversions then it would really be staying below CEX.
