2782  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: February 07, 2023, 11:57:51 PM
I saw people that have authority but were still not that rich and saw people that are filthy rich and that gives them power. The choice differs based on the situation that one will face.
When you've got some need for the money then what's the essence of choosing to have the power? I mean those literal choices and situations that we might get in, we'll really have no doubt by answering to just take the money and give the power if that's what others want.
2783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Roller Tailing on: February 07, 2023, 10:55:37 PM
I think I've heard from my bets that they're following high rollers for them to save time and as well as have that bit of confidence in their bets.
But as usual, there are pros and cons to this strategy. It is gambling and we all know that the chances are always there for both boats, winning and losing.
And if this is making you effective right now, there will be a moment in time that it won't be good as what you're experiencing. So, if it's doing good as of the moment then hit the momentum.
2784  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: February 07, 2023, 10:19:18 PM
Good point. Very few people understand this well: financial freedom/independence is not about how much money you own but simply how long and well you can live with your steady income or passive income. Anything else is an extra.
That's right.
On the other hand, it's not all about how much money you make but how much money you keep and save. And with that saving, there goes on how you're going to grow it through passive income and make it work for you. That's the style of rich people that they don't have to exert a lot of effort when they've already made themselves a great source of passive income. But as we know, at the start of it, that isn't really easy at all and too many hardships that they've been as well.
2785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 07, 2023, 09:55:33 PM
Even if they didn't want Donaire if a boxing organization where he is ranked, ordered it, he will have to take that chance, a good fighter who wants to be a champion will fight just anybody to prove that he is worthy of being a champion, and Donaire is not someone to back out of the fight, much more now that he needs a graceful exist and becoming a champion is what he really needs right now, Donaire deserves to have a crack because he still has it.
Yes, that's true. Before he ends up his professional career, there has to be a good landing for it so that he'll just take it lightly and won't be feeling for his retirement.
It's in the book that it seems that he really wants to have that beautiful ending like winning first before he gets out of professional boxing. Who knows after this, if he'll also do the same thing like exhibition matches just like what the other retirees did.
2786  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for a partner to run tweet content on: February 07, 2023, 09:23:39 PM
Are you just looking for someone that will help you run it without any payment or it's a paid task that you're offering?
If this is all about content creation and you'll have to post it on a project's Twitter account and you're worrying that you're not a native speaker. You can give it a try. Many social media managers aren't even native speakers but they've studied the language very well. As long as your content is natural and caters to organic engagement to the followers, that's what will matter.

2788  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 07, 2023, 10:36:28 AM

^ I wouldn’t get too comfortable with Durant on the Nets… Stephen A Smith is reporting that he’s heard rumors of negotiations between the Boston Celtics and Brooklyn Nets involving a trade of Kevin Durant for Jaylen Brown. It’s definitely possible for all sorts of reasons. KD wants to be in Boston, Jaylen wants to be the star of his team, KD wants out of Brooklyn, trade deadline approaching… We could have another big Nets trade today!
I've heard of Jaylen's potential trade before and it was just after the finals that they've been with and he doesn't like that rumor that has come out.
But now, if this will come into reality and that's the reaction that he'll do upon being traded then that wouldn't hurt his feeling a lot. He'll be in a new team where he'll definitely get all the attention that he's wanting and needing. Such trades have been released by the Nets and there could be even more, I thought that they've got no plans of pushing KD away as it's been reported before that there were no taker but now, it seems that some teams would like to offer them something for him.
2790  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 2000 sandbox would do? on: February 06, 2023, 06:58:43 PM
I am no longer a fan of Metaverse. It's just a buzzword that has been on trend and became timely with the pump that it has made during the bull run.
I guess if those legitimate projects that have amazing plans for their future have been able to retain most of their investors, then many of them are still alive.
As for your investment with 2000 sandbox, if you've DYOR, you'll know your answer and it's your decision.

2791  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 06, 2023, 11:38:52 AM
Luka is just getting the probable right help that he needs and that's why Dallas has decided to take him as soon as he's already expressed his desire of getting out of the Nets.
On the other hand, the Nets management has said that KD will stay on them and they're likely to build their roster with a new set of talented players but for how long and how soon enough?  Grin
Durant is not the old Durant who won championships with the Warriors, he became a fragile player now that could be injured anytime, so there's no assurance that even if he will stay the Nets will be a championship team. The thing is, if they rely solely on Durant, what would happen if he'll get injured?
Yes, he's injured prone and this is normal when a player gets old and comes from many championships and by just being a typical athletic player.
Well, as for them being a championship team, we've been talking about them before when Kyrie was still there but no longer this time.
It's a mutual decision and the team's decision that they'll keep KD and will have to rebuild the team in their own ways and we'll just have to wait for their updates and additions to their current roster.
2792  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: February 06, 2023, 11:04:58 AM
Now social media is the waste of time - we spend so much time and energy on the phone that we don't realize we are losing our time - peace and energy to this small gadget.
Many people are using it wisely - and earning money - while the other are spying and misusing social media -the need and intentions are different.
It's a waste of time if you're just browsing on it and using it for your pastime. But there are people and entrepreneurs that are making their time worth it with the use of social media. They're using it as part of their business and that's how it is evolving right now.
Before, we don't see that many entrepreneurs posting stuff on our news feeds but then, a lot has changed and it has become a platform that's for everyone, whether you want to start a business or look for some opportunities.
That is correct - all depends on the usage. Some people are menting money out of it while the other are only wasting time
I think that is totally the personal thing.
some My friends waste so much time in browsing while the others have used internet for their benefits.
So basically, it all depends on how you use it and how you maximize your time with it. Those that have come to use it and use its full potential are making money from it.
Well, almost everything is in there. Coming from a normal social media that only feeds information, there goes the marketplace and even recruitment is also happening there for available remote jobs. You just have to be savvy and resourceful with it on how you're going to monetize your time through it. It won't be easy for the first timers but you'll eventually get there.
2793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 06, 2023, 10:33:51 AM
That's true, it's also been said for a long time that he really needs someone's help and there it goes through Kyrie. Hoping for the best of the two, and yes, it's really all about the chemistry because we've seen a team that's full of superstars but yet still didn't take any ring.
Chemistry is the key on their team and let's see how they'll be able to adjust to that and everyone is very optimistic with this addition for the Mavs.
It's a risky move by the Dallas Mavericks but it's worth a try though. By the way, for the information of everyone, Irving's contract will expire in less than a year, so it will give Dallas a huge problem if he will not sign with the Dallas. Well, I don't want to think of the negative possibility, I'm hoping that they'll play well so they have a shot of winning a championship together.
Luka is just getting the probable right help that he needs and that's why Dallas has decided to take him as soon as he's already expressed his desire of getting out of the Nets.

2795  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: February 06, 2023, 09:02:10 AM
The reason investors choose to hodl is actually the same because they clearly want to make a profit as the purpose of the investment itself.
Yup and that's true.
We're all ending with the same reason why we hold and that is because we want to see our holdings have a better price and value to appear. There's no other reason why we want to hold. Yes, some may literally say that they're for the tech but we can't remove one fact and that is all about wanting to make more in the long run because we're all aware the longer we hold then the better value and price will be seen soon for bitcoin.
2796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The 4 trading fears and how to overcome them on: February 06, 2023, 08:31:38 AM
It's human nature that we don't want to lose especially in money. That's why many are being stopped by that fear and they don't want to proceed because they're scared out by the risk that they've seen. But those that are wanting to pursue and are okay to look at themselves with failure and losses, they're the ones that are likely to succeed. It's a trial and error and they can learn from those failures that they'll meet along their trading journey, we understand that it's important to experience it or else we'll just stay where we are right now.
2797  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: US casinos set new record of revenue on 2022 on: February 06, 2023, 07:37:58 AM
It's no doubt that the gambling industry is a lucrative business because it isn't so, there wouldn't be those gambling capitals and states in different parts of the world.

Are cryptocurrency casinos experimenting the same kind of boom as fiat casinos?
Yes, we're seeing the booming industry of the crypto casinos and they've been there for how many years. If it's not profitable then the profitable ones won't be continuing with their operations up until now. But, what we see is that there have been new additions on this industry and as well as the known and old ones keeps on operating but there have been those that have been out of the business.
2798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 06, 2023, 06:29:40 AM
Yeah, he should perform well and be enough with the drama but I think that he'll go along with Luka and hopefully they'll have good chemistry.
And prior to this trade, it was a few moments and seconds for the Los Angeles Clippers to take him but then the Nets declined their offer.
Well, that's obvious as the trade of Dallas for them is much better than what LAC has offered for Kyrie. I can't wait to see how Kyrie will play with his new home.
Luka has needed some help for a couple of years now, but the mavericks paid a hefty price tag to obtain it. Let's hope the 2 superstars can get some sort of chemistry going fast. Going to be interesting to see how Luka can handle not being the go to guy any longer.
That's true, it's also been said for a long time that he really needs someone's help and there it goes through Kyrie. Hoping for the best of the two, and yes, it's really all about the chemistry because we've seen a team that's full of superstars but yet still didn't take any ring.

2799  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake paid promotions on Twitter on: February 06, 2023, 05:33:33 AM
I don't understand. Is it not a widely known fact that Tik-tok, instagram, youtube and Twitter influencers are getting paid for tweeting?
I am not sure if i am more surprised about the fact that his promotions are so cheap or that anyone listens financial advices from someone whose job is to be choked, kicked and hit in the head.
"Must be a financial genius. Take my money!"
Depends on the influence and following of the influencer. If they've got active engagements from hundreds of thousands up to millions of people then that's higher pay.
But it all depends on how much they're asking or how much the offer will be. That's going to be an offer that they won't reject especially if not that many sponsors are approaching them and asking to work for them. It's like a one time work so, they'll just plug it to their video and then all good. That's why many influencers are fooled and don't DYOR.
2800  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: February 05, 2023, 11:55:11 PM
Things are generally hard in most part of the world recently as inflation keep increasing but some people are still making their way to riches despite the inflation. If one studies his/her environment well, he/she can see something one can invest in and people can't do without.
Those people that are curious with inflation, they're the ones that are finding ways of combatting it. And the truth is, there are people that don't know what even is an inflation is.
And that's the sad part, many people from different nations are still far from that idea of having the majority to have an idea on what's happening with each economies that we're living in and that's one obstacle for an individual to achieve financial freedom, being lack of financial knowledge.
