2781  Other / Meta / Re: Another 3 new account spamming 1 Thread on: January 15, 2019, 09:58:48 AM
~snip~
Exactly, bounty managers should also monitor their people and they should consider it a responsibility to protect this forum from spammers.
Most of the project nowadays are just run by a non reputable manager or a newbie from their team without enough knowledge about the forum rules, maybe they are doing it to minimize their expenses but without realizing the possible mess it will bring to the forum.
Honestly if campaign managers are constantly monitoring their participants as well as not allowing ICO devs on abusing them this forum will contain a considerable amount of good posts and less spam, but then money talks that is why they let this things happen.

A good team should also care for this forum as it's where they put their advertising, so IMO, it's better hire a reputable manager recommended by the community although a little bit expensive but it will add value to the project as it will increase the confidence of the potential investors to put their money knowing it's been manage by a reputable member.
The main problem here is cost, reputable managers are charging higher in managing campaigns that contain less members while the less popular ones are cheaper and can handle more participants which the dev team always gets as they also are in for some forum rule breaking such as bumping their threads.
2782  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Regulations on the Management of Blockchain Information Services. on: January 14, 2019, 08:23:31 PM
I guessed the ones that are the most affected are the one they are calling anonymous cryptocurrencies like Monero, Zcash, and Dash which were banned previously in Japan and China. Looks like China had finally dropped a bomb with this one and it may make it official that once again Bitcoin is illegal in China. If they have a serious backlash with the implementation maybe they would have some changes with some exemptions and it will really depend on how this law will affect their economy.
2783  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-13]Blockchain Technology to Challenge the Luxury Black Market in Italy on: January 14, 2019, 07:27:59 PM
Great a solution for rich people not to be scammed by buying luxury products? What's great about this? The items involved are not even used or bought by half of the population here. Their tech on spotting counterfeit products is great but they are targeting a small portion of the market here, you know the ones not really useful as they are tagged as luxury not necessity. If they bring this technology down to basic goods this will be proven beneficial to all people because all products are having counterfeits and fake substitutes now not only luxury items.
2784  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: failure to gain profit on: January 14, 2019, 06:14:07 PM
From the looks of it you are not built to become a day trader yet. Buying and selling actively on a daily basis is not the only way to profit from the market. Why don't you try to become a position trader instead? Keeping on a early paper loss is still better than losing your capital by cutting your losses, at the end when the market starts recovering you will see your portfolio going green. Sometimes patience is always the answer to everything as quick actions like that tend to become poor decisions at the end.
2785  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto Games Survey on: January 14, 2019, 04:39:24 PM
I too have played steem monsters for a while but I lost focused when I know my main point on being Steemit articles that interests me. Overall the TCG they have is nice and what is nice about it is they have done a pretty good job on not making it a pay to win as you get various cards for free via trading, some even receive cards just by upvoting their content. If you want a addicting card game you should model you system based on Steem Monsters as they are really good at it.
2786  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fell for FUD. Stand your ground bitcoiners! on: January 14, 2019, 02:52:57 PM
Seen that comment as well and I'm quite surprised that he somehow connected his hate towards Bitcoin to a topic created by a banned member for plagiarism.
Why do you fucking care, bitcoin is a giant scam anyways, this shit is all going to zero and this forum will die out as a result.
In these kinds of comments I always ask why a "demerit" button does not exist. But then I always realize that the "Ignore" button which we have now is even a better way of avoiding this nocoiners in the forum. It's like your own permaban button so that you don't see the posts of nocoiners after that. This forum really has no place for non-believers out there as they really don't have an open mind for a discussion on what we believe in.
2787  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why BTC to Under 1K$ soon on: January 14, 2019, 12:09:03 PM
Didn't we handle panic selling multiple times already on our way down to 3,500$? This market right now has reached to the point where it has been built by panic and only left us with people who do really care about the future of crypto and they were battle hardened by the drops we have experienced by now. The weak hands had left us a long time ago and I don't think that their position is somewhat considerable that they can influence the market to where it will lead next. You didn't even had time to explain where you have gotten the numbers you are predicting so you are really not convincing anyone with the bullshit you have written.
2788  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Untick the box for less important moved topics on: January 14, 2019, 11:01:07 AM
For newbies here who are having a hard time earning merits you should think that your post history are your resume here in the forum. The more quality posts you have done consistently the more qualified you are to receive a merit. Generous merit senders especially merit sources know when a member is just trying to butter it up when it comes to their post history so don't even try to just make your posts long as you are just wasting your time if there is no point on what you are saying.
2789  Other / Meta / Re: I don't understand the purpose of the trust system here. on: January 10, 2019, 08:53:54 PM
Merits are an obvious reward in the current structure, but can we use the trust system as an encouragement for consistent good posting to support the forum?  My initial though is that posting has nothing to do with trust. So if I participate in the new trust ranking, how can I use that to encourage quality members.
If that is the case then you can always try to to put scam hunters into your trust list. If you look at the scam accusation section you will see a lot of dedicated people posting their findings on whether or not a scammer is trying to scam a people, they also post their bounty abusers as well and a lot of other things. These people at least can be a start for your own trust list as they do deserve it with the effort they are doing.
2790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 10, 2019, 07:56:32 PM
Finally we see Lakers that could be great in the future. Kuzma played like a superstar and even tough its still inconsistent and he averages a lot less than what he could be he is still quite young and was drafted low for someone who can score 41 points in Lakers uniform.

You would expect a superstar doing that and that is what he is moving towards. Carmelo Anthony is a guy who used to score a lot of points but wasn't really a good defense guy and that is why he was cut this year, Lonzo is exactly the opposite, dude steals, defends, rebounds and does everything amazingly but has no scoring mechanism at all, he misses freaking layups that a 55+ year old with a beer belly can score.

Josh Hart plays his "hart" out Cheesy and he has the hard working skills to make him a viable SG one day hopefully and Ingram has been in the league for years now and still haven't shown the progress he should but in couple more years we will know for sure if he is good enough to stay or gone. I love this youth core and feel amazingly happy when they win.
Let us not hope too much that everyone in the current Lakers' roster will be the same for next season. Remember this is Lebron James' team now and as far as I know no one is untouchable in his team except him. With a loaded free agency season he will be looking for star veterans and not young players with potential. He is a aging star and he has not time left to see this young players develop into a team he wants to be 3-4 years down the road. If Kuzma, Ingram, and Ball could all stay I'll be happy for the team but just not expect a championship from them next season.
2791  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: about exchanges kyc withdraw! on: January 10, 2019, 07:14:42 PM
I really don't get KYC especially those companies that seem never had existed public information and also the fact that some can allow and some cannot.
If you personally doubt the company even after you research them and your gut tells you no then its personally the time to back out for that company. It's your instincts saying that they will use your personal info for other purposes.

I know the place where the company is registered makes the difference. But why they need to make it hard to do. Why they can't use only one KYC solution?
You cannot really have a one solution for KYC in which it can be submitted to everything. For one not all companies have the same laws and kyc requirements being followed that is why each exchange have a rather different KYC requirement which vary from each one of them. So a one KYC solution is really not suitable for the current system we have.
2792  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most cryptocoins took a big drop in value today. on: January 10, 2019, 06:03:13 PM
I'll just follow what the other members have posted it so far. Price dips like this one is considered normal especially when Bitcoin, the market leader, fails to break the next resistance for some time now confirming that we are still in the bear market. Cryptocurrencies being in the bear market will have more downs than ups as this is when buyer's confidence are at the lowest that is why they are afraid to go and re-test the next resistance that is why they are cashing out as soon as they see they are near the resistance which we have recently is 4,000$+.
2793  Economy / Economics / Re: Low demand for gasoline on: January 10, 2019, 04:50:29 PM
As long as they are in control of their own oil production I don't think these low demand for oil will be permanent, like what others said a stoppage for producing new oil can always happen any time. The only thing that can threaten this demand permanently is when we use other energy alternatives and I think is is possible when electric cars as well as hybrids will be dominating our streets. This is the only thing we can do to stop these conglomerates on taking advantage of us people who are lower in the food chain.
2794  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-01-10] Will Japan Approve a Bitcoin ETF? on: January 10, 2019, 03:26:38 PM
I won't be surprised at all if Japan will be the first country to have Bitcoin ETFs sooner than the US. This might be a opportunity loss for the US SEC but I think they are purposely delaying their decision until some country will step in their position so that they themselves can monitor the effect of Bitcoin ETFs to that country. The Japanese government has proven that they are quick when it comes to their regulatory frameworks on cryptocurrencies if this rumor happens to be true we might see the first Bitcoin ETF as early as the first quarter of this year.
2795  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: MERITS: Will doing this be uncertain, or should I do this? on: January 10, 2019, 11:15:45 AM
Why not just compound the merits on multiple posts which will be given in several days? Therefore you can still monitor and judge that person if he/she has been consistent in his post quality. With this technique you will also not over compensate him with a big amount of merits with just one post. You will also know if the member is really deserving to receive a considerable amount of merits from you.

Why it always shows a "Connection Error and Please Try Again Later."? I'm trying to log-in right now. If ever I already forgot my details here, I want to recover it. But it seems I don't remember it anymore. Its been a long time since the last time I played here and only Dice game only exist. Thank you.

Send a PM to Baryom. He solved the exact problem on my end.
Try not to do what UserU has done as he is a busy person after all you can contact the support team even without logging in or visiting the website. Here is their email address "support@bitsler.com" which you will receive a reply within 24 hours or even less. Although I have experienced the connection error in the past all I can say that it wasn't a individual problem where it has something to do with Bitsler blocking some IP addresses temporarily, your main problem would really be your account recovery though.
2797  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll: is it OK to send merits to your own alts? on: January 10, 2019, 10:01:08 AM
Ok, definetly merit system fucked the forum. People just merit posts in their favor (Vod). And there are so many posts that are so much worth the merit and everyone just avoids them just because they are newbies.

There is not enough merit on going on the network. This is what I believe.

Also I have seen dark green trusted member getting merit for 2 words posts. Those people should be banned. That's my opinion. I might be wrong Huh
Maybe because you are an account seller that is why you are fucked up the most by the merit system. We all have different views about the merits system but the ones who are making the forum a business platform tends to express their opinions negatively. First of all there wouldn't be a merit system if most members here didn't abuse the previous activity only ranking system. But some abusive minds like you made it into a business so that is why we have the merit system now it is just a product of your own wrongdoing.
2798  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What did you buy with your Bitcoin as Plan B for the future? on: January 09, 2019, 08:34:44 PM
The Stock Market is the right choice at least for me. I mean you will still be monitoring all the movement in just one computer and you don't need someone right by your side managing what you are doing like some other assets. I think this is the very best "don't put all your eggs in one basket" situation for me as it is totally a different industry, just buying another altcoin is not enough. Just look at the crypto market right now you will see that almost all other cryptocurrencies follow the movement of Bitcoin's price.
2799  Economy / Reputation / Re: Poll: is it OK to send merits to your own alts? on: January 09, 2019, 07:13:43 PM
Its like judging your own work. If this is how we grade ourselves during our thesis phase I would grade my 1 page work to 100 even if it is just the cover page. I don't see how this is any different from trading merits because one way or another your alts will send back some merits to your account/s. It is simply an abuse of the merit system in my own opinion. BTW MikeMike's reasoning is really bad 40 sMerits on an announcement? I wish I was the one announcing so that I could earn that easily.
2800  Other / Meta / Re: Alternatives to Permabans for plagarism on: January 09, 2019, 06:02:25 PM
Quote
Yes - Signature ban - whether permanent or temporary
Yes - Pay some sort of fine
These two won't guarantee that they will stop from plagiarizing more post once the ban is lifted or the fine is paid, the chances of them doing it again will be higher as the days goes by. I also see that the permanent signature ban can cause a lot of affected members to spam the forum with their shitpost saying that the system is unfair and how they can't getaway from just one plagiarized post. I think the old system still works just fine. I don't see that their is a certain degree of plagiarism where a member can be forgiven plagiarism is still plagiarism, there is no creativity or effort behind it.
