1781  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The vast majority of trading volume was faked. on: October 27, 2019, 05:11:35 PM
We should be glad the the authorities are aware of this fake volume and wash trading happening in the industry but I hope they have a plan set in place to get rid of it because clearly the first ones to be affected by this are us traders who get deceive by fake data happening in the market. Bitwise did the right thing on identifying this anomalies happening in the market but I hope they also included the names of this exchanges to be avoided because 71 exchanges is a lot to hide and we might be using one or two of them, the risky thing about this is if the authorities will also hunt them down with out notifying us and giving us a chance to pull out our funds from their exchange.
1782  Economy / Reputation / Re: Art Contest Design Accusation Determination on: October 27, 2019, 04:13:24 PM
Exactly my point.  The images are available for public use. They are not copyrighted works. They are collective commons. They are available with the intended use of allowing individual users to utilize their own creativity and ideas which can deployed and built on top of what they have offered.

The non-profit organization Collective Commons states their purpose as: “devoted to expanding the range of creative works available for others to build upon legally and to share”

So to the Professional Graphic Artist whom spoke on the legalities of the matter. I would like to remind him that this is a bitcointalk art contest not a matter of pending civil litigation.

I know I am guilty of taking things too seriously and being volatile are times. I’m working to improve that.  As such, I would encourage everyone to lighten up a bit. Not all of us are professional graphic artists. Nonetheless this is a crypto community contest. I would think that we would be embracing each others creativity and encouraging one another to participate in any way that brings more people to the table.

But that’s just my approach and my perspective.
You are more than welcome to agree or disagree. ☺️

The artwork might still be copyrightable if you really just copied the work of Mamaecrypto, but the template itself where you will be putting your own additional design and additional texts isn't that's the clear part. You don't have to overreact on things like this since DT members are pretty rational on seeing this kinds of accusations. The wrong thing you did is instead of handling this thing in a calm manner you instead overreacted and think that no one is on your side, all of this things will be solved quickly if you have only focused on the facts and not blend your emotions with it.
1783  Economy / Reputation / Re: Art Contest Design Accusation Determination on: October 27, 2019, 03:15:26 PM
The original template is a sun. I added the btc logo. If his logo was not in the exact same proportions as mine I would have totally not mentioned it. However to me it felt as if someone spotted my design, saved it and brought it up on canva again and made changes. That is my opinion. I mentioned I felt as if someone used my idea as a shortcut for their concept. From the begging I mentioned it was fine it was created for that purpose so awesome. But to claim it as their art is not right. I felt it was my right since I submitted original work myself to mention this discrepancy. Have not been in the forum for a long time because really busy. But wanted to stop by for this celebration. Could not help myself and did what I think was right

I couldn't say that this will be an "original" work on your side especially if both of you are just using pre-made templates in the same application. Both of you edited the same template available and can be considered an "original" work on any end as long as he didn't copied it directly without any changes but judging the things he added and how your watermark was not erased in his version I can say that he made his version directly using the app. We are just talking about templates here and I couldn't even see a violation of plagiarism just because he used the same template as you are.
1784  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Earning Bitcoin with cheap camera equipment. on: October 27, 2019, 02:26:38 PM
Are DLSR cameras really the only option for this project here? I mean if we are only talking about an "almost free camera equipment" here we have cameras on our phone who could do a pretty good job on delivering a good image. The only downside I see is it will lack the image quality from what the DSLRs have and most cameras from phones nowadays over saturates images as it looks "good" in your social media.
1785  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's still going down (Oct 26, 2019) on: October 27, 2019, 01:20:03 PM
I'm not particularly supporting your theory but I'm with you that we are still on a down trend and we haven't broken this bearish cycle yet, why? Not because of anything related with the Chinese or any kind of manipulation but just for the reason of the big green candle you are saying is just a candle still on a lower high which isn't really counted as a bullish candle because this candle is still within the downtrend. If I were a newbie thinking that this is another bullish reversal then think again, the bearish candle is not over yet, not until we get pass 12,000$ this kinds of pumps are not bullish at all.
1786  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: new possibilities of government crackdown on bitcoin on: October 24, 2019, 08:37:53 PM
A government crackdown won't happen anytime soon, the way that the laws and our regulations are progressing towards favorable outcomes for Bitcoin, I don't see any kind of scenario where the government will suddenly shift their views and look for in the opposite direction. With our current situation the government is well aware that criminals and other illicit activities are being done with the help of Bitcoin especially anonymity focused coins but they still don't see it as of the biggest flaws with crypto instead they still focused more on enforcement and kyc procedures so that their crypto industry can still be at play for them. The way I see it there will be no kind of scandal that will change their views towards crypto.
1787  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-23] New Bitcoin ETF Proposal Filed by Gold Fund Veteran on: October 24, 2019, 08:07:15 PM
A new entity enters the Bitcoin ETF race yet what will be their difference compared to the past applications they have denied? The SEC has been doing this for years and they have denied a lot of BTC ETF proposals already one of the recent ones of course is Bitwise for the reason of "lack of requirements". I tell you all what they are doing now is just dodging and evading all proposals and if they can't handle it they will just ask another extension and move the "final" deadline on a later date.
1788  Other / Meta / Re: Can't delete my profile on: October 24, 2019, 07:32:40 PM
Last post was over an year ago and now you want to delete your Account ?

Now you gave me an idea that the OP might not be the real user here and he is trying to delete someone's account as a revenge or blackmail to the person but this is a big reach since the account literally has no value in Bitcointalk. I don't know but someone waking up a year ago and then his first post will be asking how to delete his account is somehow suspicious, I really don't see any purpose on doing so especially if you became inactive for a year.
1789  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: CryptoTalk started paying its users for posting. on: October 24, 2019, 06:49:04 PM
Everyone who is Wearing / Promoting / Managing the cryptotalk signature is directly / indirectly supporting spam ?  My Answer is No.
Let's wait for your answer.
Might not be everyone is spamming, but when you wear the signature which wore by 99% other campaign spammers then you also will be considered as spamming.

I think you are referring too advertising rather than spamming because there is really no connection between a two. It's like saying that not all cops are crooked and corrupt but if you are a cop you are also a corrupt man just because he is a cop, this kind of of relation is like making every participants of cryptotalk guilty of something they haven't really done yet. Also no DT member will agree to what you are saying because one of the main problems that Yobit has been faced is how its participants contribute to spam and none of them are checking the quality of posts the members are posting not the signature campaign itself.
1790  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ASIC technology trademark or intellectual property right protection? on: October 24, 2019, 04:29:07 PM
By my understanding even if they have a patent on that technology other companies can still copy it in their own way by creating their own version out of it. What I mean about that is if they create an ASIC miner themselves they should not 100% copy the existing version, that is why what we are seeing is always a better version of the old version from any competing companies. This is why we see cars like the Hyundai Prius having the same form factor as the Toyota Prius but a lot of things varies from engines to the interiors of the car. In the legal world you can't really have that "unique" invention where you have a 100% guarantee to rule the market.
1791  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some advice/help for a newbie on: October 23, 2019, 08:40:24 PM
It really depends on the team backing up the token/altcoin since they are the ones putting it up available in exchanges. Big projects can instantly put their cryptocurrency in big exchanges, some of them even offer up an IEO directly to exchanges so that their investors would by the crypto directly in that exchanges. So if your project only revolves around in a small exchange it tells a whole lot about the project behind it, but if you do believe in that project it's best if you hodl it and wait for your crypto to be available in a much reliable exchange rather than risking it on untrustworthy exchange.

agree - my intentions are to hold for a longer period of time and not mess with the exchange(s) it currently trades on.

But you should also look at it frequently, the key here is the development happening within the project so you need to get updated as frequently as possible because sometimes this is where all most projects fail as soon as the team gives up on their own project. I'm not only talking about them listing on big exchanges but I won't give you any specifics but you should have a feel if the team is really going onto any direction on what they have promised, even if you know someone for the team and they lacked progress I think it's safe to say that you need to quickly jump off the train and sell your cryptocurrency before it affects the prices.

1793  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scam extortion money on: October 23, 2019, 07:12:57 PM
Maybe providing the whole conversation as well as a mod verifying the messages will be enough to get to the whole story for the rest of the members to know what really happened, because from what I see it looks like you are having a negotiation with vlom on what price you have to pay in order for him to remove the negative feedback. Why are you even taking this negative feedback seriously? vlom isn't a DT member so his tag is counted as a untrusted feedback towards you, this won't really damage your reputation. In my opinion on matters like this you are just making the whole situation big and  you are just letting everyone know you have a negative feedback from him which I'm not even aware of in the first place.
1794  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: October 23, 2019, 06:31:04 PM
Seems that the odds of Clippers to win the League are higher after watching the game against Lakers last night! And Leonard Khawi have a great performance with 30 points, last year we see that he's carrying Toronto Raptors and now he's helping Clippers and do a great job.

I second that especially to think that Kawhi and the Clippers have defeated Lakers even without Paul George in the rotation, it only says that Kawhi can still carry the team as what he did with Toronto. With Paul George in the roster their game could be on another level. It's funny to think that the Lakers is leading in the Poll by 1 point that they will win the Championship this season, this fanboys needs to get realistic that Clippers are a much more better team compared to what the Lakers currently have.
1795  Economy / Economics / Re: Trump Administration Popped 2017 Bitcoin Bubble, Ex-CFTC Chair Says on: October 23, 2019, 05:20:07 PM
I'm sorry but a bubble only pops once in it's lifetime and it doesn't recover from it. Bitcoin is no bubble even if what they are saying is true it only cause a correction or dropped but Bitcoin never popped as proven by what we have seen this year 2019. I just don't know why this news has surfaced now since this is what classic news media sites do connect all the news after the price movement. Which make me think that this isn't plausible, there is even no good reason why they are targeting BTC like this.
1796  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2019-10-23] Realtime market data for cryptocurrencies without any fake volume on: October 23, 2019, 03:55:59 PM
I don't know what kind of process will they do to remove this “wash trading” but if they are getting their data on exchanges we can't see any kind of guarantee that they will really even remove all biases and fake volumes especially when the main sources are datas from exchanges. There's no sure process for eliminating it so I don't expect their data to be 100% true volume at the end, they can't really control it on their end.
1797  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another Shit Coin Up 155.54% (24H) Today on: October 22, 2019, 08:52:52 PM
Even on other markets price pumping is a thing, the only difference is ones the prices starts to get abnormal SEC has the power to pull off a trading halt on the particular stock in a crypto exchange this isn't a thing since they aren't regulated the same way compared to what stock markets have. I don't know if this will be a thing in the crypto market but if this happens think off what will happen to cryptocurrencies that aren't "shitcoins" like Bitcoin, would you ever be satisfied with a 10% price increase and suddenly the authorities ordered to stop the trading because of it? Of course not we want BTC to keep pumping up. Also a regulation of this kind isn't possible since even if they stop the trading for a cryptocurrency they can't totally stop it since the people could continue to trade on other platforms as well as a P2P exchange which they can't really control.
1798  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency in the next financial crisis on: October 22, 2019, 08:01:47 PM
When a financial crisis comes now asset can guarantee as a safe have for our money, remember that the last financial crisis we have everyone has been liquidating their assets from stocks to real estates just to exchange it all with money they need to spend, the same scenario can happen with crypto hodlers that there would be a point in time where they would need offload their cryptocurrencies just to have the money they needed.  My advice is before your assets are affected I would suggest that you convert it to cash as fast as possible and wait for these assets to fall down and bottom out, this is when the assets won't only act as a safe heaven but also a good investment once the recession ends and the economy stabilizes.
1799  Economy / Reputation / Re: Sandy-is-fine please read! on: October 22, 2019, 07:23:15 PM
I'm having trouble on connecting the point of your thread when you just dropped links of member's accounts without explaining any kind of evidence how it is connected to premiumsupportz. I don't even know what you are after with this thread, are you complaining about a tag, saving another member, or you want sandy to tag another member? Because from my understanding you are telling us that premiumsupportz is also connected to the previous members sandy has tag from scamming with gift cards, if that is the case you must provide a connection that premiumsupportz is the same member that sandy has tag not only a link to his thread because that's not enough for any DT member to tag him.
1800  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Idea In Progress: Earn money by paying with crypto and saving on costs on: October 22, 2019, 06:29:12 PM
The idea of "saving" money here isn't really good. If you will just spend something in order to save that 30% for something in order to buy those basic needs then you aren't saving at all you are just spending more on unnecessary things just to get that discounts. The 30% "saved" on something when buying from your service should have been 100% if they had not bought anything from the service. I'm not ruining your idea but don't fool people that they are earning something when they are buying from you. The 30% discounts looks great if people are really looking for that bargain hunt but discounts, cashbacks, and rebates are a direct opposite for people who want to save money for their basic needs.

What we mean is we can help you save money on everyday expenses that you already have.

For example, if you order take outs on Uber eats every so often, you could use ethconomy to save on those orders.

Or if you were planning to buy a pair of shoes on Amazon, you can get a discount on it through ethconomy.

You aren't getting my point, with your example you are just promoting people to spend on something they don't need like will they really earn something when they buy shoes or will they just spend on another unnecessary stuff just to get that discount? I know this is a useful website for people trying to get the best bang for their buck but this is not a website to promote saving money or earning anything. It's like one of those e-commerce sites having discounts frequently and trying to say how much money they will save if they buy and buy from them but the truth is they are just flushing more money out from this people without them realizing it.
