1821  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT: Cryptoknowmic Token Sale on: October 15, 2019, 08:47:22 PM
Nice findings you got there and I'm really convinced that this is one of those fake projects just by seeing that they are using a generic address. One suggestion though is to put a proper format for your OP since it would be a lot easier on finding out the links related to the accused because right now I am not seeing any links for the ANN thread and the ANN poster, this would be a lot easier for the DT members to look for the ANN thread themselves and tag the persons related to the project. Try following this format and you are good to go. Also you might want to create a flag when you're at it.
1822  Economy / Economics / Re: Will Blockchain trigger a massive boost in our economy? on: October 15, 2019, 08:02:01 PM
I think it will, if blockchain tech will be utilized by the government or by the mass it will lessen cost and I think operations will be more efficient and convenient. It will make a great change, it might take time but we will come to a point where blockchain tech will be part of our daily life.

Aside from that if the government decides to implement blockchain into their system there would be a more transparent government running that country. The more transparent the system is the less likely that country will have corruption taking place. This is one of the most important points of having a digital public ledger where all activities and transactions are being monitored by everyone, you can't really have any room of illicit activities especially if everyone has access to it.
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: some of the points and problems that have occurred in the crypto industry. on: October 15, 2019, 07:17:14 PM
That's why when you are in the crypto industry hunting for new ICOs as a trader you must practice an added precaution when it come to participating and buying a piece of their projects. Because unlike a stock exchange where the SEC does the background checking for the user, you really don't have that kind of privilege in this market since literally anyone can create their own project overnight. If regulation isn't enough then your only real way to avoid this scam projects is by doing the background checks yourself or listen to what others are saying and try to eliminate shilling from real feedbacks. Aside from that we also have the trust system working for us and if you see the ANN poster has a red tag then you can easily where the tag came from by clicking "trust", several DT members are looking at ANN threads closely cleaning up the ANN section.
1824  Economy / Reputation / Re: be.open & Sancho18 - bounty cheaters. on: October 15, 2019, 06:31:51 PM
Anyways your decision has already been taken.  Smiley  Good Luck
The decision made is hasty and erroneous, and does not take into account the circumstances I have provided here. Tnx.

ps I consider the topic title to be offensive and untrue, it casts a shadow on my reputation a priori. Please change it from affirmative to interrogative. Otherwise, after the explanations I have already made, this statement turns into slander.

You see the thing here is the accounts connected to you are either your son or your friend's account all of which have we heard before. Like I said in my previous post aside from the ETH address connecting you two and the telegram account (Sancho) being used to your account there are also evidence that you are doing merit trading with other. If you really want to come clean with your tag I think you need to convince the DT member that you are two persons and not just one person having two accounts abusing the campaign.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi in Oxford English Dictionary on: October 15, 2019, 04:46:24 PM
Popularity increaaing because Satoshi and Bitcoin are words defined in a dictionary? I guess the answer for that would be no since they are just defining a word and it doesn't really do anything besides that. What I appreciate though is something like Oxford has given recognition not only to the words Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but also the denomination for Bitcoin which for us is a delightful thing to see. But if we expect that the prices will go up because of rhis then think again this won't have any effect for the demand for BTC.
1826  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-10-10] How the U.S. Government Tried – and Failed – to Shut Down Bitcoin on: October 15, 2019, 03:25:21 PM
This is just one of the many instances the US government had tried to shutdown Bitcoin even the whole crypto industry but even if they tried to do it several times already the industry still prevails. Don't get me wrong on this one but their operation hasn't stop yet that even their local governments like New York has issued what they call "BitLicenses" just to make the industry less desirable to enter. With this ongoing crackdown the only way to stop this and defeat them is to have the industry to be successful and I think we all know this is an inevitable thing to happen.
1827  Economy / Reputation / Re: be.open & Sancho18 - bounty cheaters. on: October 15, 2019, 01:05:19 PM
It would take a whole lot things to pursuade DT members to remove both of your tags than just a story about you being the father of Sancho. Because literally no one will buy your reason without any kind of evidence to prove it, and a lot if people have used that reasoning before. Aside from using one address you have also used a telegram account of the ogher account which is suspicious enough to see why you two are frequently switching addresses and account names.
1828  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency and Blockchain – Industry News –  (10.04.19 – 10.11.19) on: October 14, 2019, 08:15:52 PM
Just after the Libra coin was announced a lot of news not favoring them are showing up from left to right. Now we don't know what exactly is the reason why this credit card and payment processing companies are pulling out  so this might just be a contract or agreement issue but the headline itself will just send a really bad image overall for Facebook's project. Aside from that their head of product also pulled out of the project but like I said we don't know the full story here so I might still wait for some updates before seeing if Libra will be a failed project for Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg might start to think on another new plan if he really wants to join the cryptocurrency game because with governments, countries, and even companies are not favoring him this only tells that they don't like the idea of Facebook having its own cryptocurrency at all.
1829  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: bitcoin mining tax breaks on: October 14, 2019, 07:45:00 PM
When thinking about deductions in a crypto mining operation all you need to do is to remember all the operating cost you have incurred while running this operation. These deductions don't need to be filed so you can legally do it but should be really included as this is the only way to see your true earnings with your mining operation, who knows you might really just be running at a loss and you hadn't earned really anything from it. Just keep in mind that if your hodled those crypto after you mined them and it is worth more now then you are also earning capital gains which is also taxable under capital gains tax.
1830  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: BTC monitoring for simplified accounting & bookkeeping on: October 14, 2019, 07:07:36 PM
If you really do have an operational firm I believe that you have nothing to worry about with regards to bookkeeping and accounting since you will definitely have a whole department to do that. If you don't have one then it would be easier for you if you hire an accounting firm to do your books for you. It's really simple if you don't know how to do it yourself then just hire a person/group that is more capable than you. Since we are talking about an organization here entities like you shouldn't have mistakes when you will be reporting your financial record so it's best to really hire someone that can help you with it. I wouldn't rely on the article you provided since you would definitely have a different law in your country when it comes to crypto earnings and the article only just covers the basics of accounting, it doesn't really go into detail to fit as a guide for accounting.
1831  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Access wallet addresses easily, without storing private keys or security phrases on: October 14, 2019, 06:30:52 PM
You really don't have anything to worry about if your private keys and passphrases are not stored with the same laptop, because for a man who can afford a hotel room I'm pretty confident to say that you know how to protect your cryptos in your laptop and I don't think an address book would have any help with this situation. It's only purpose is store addresses you have and maybe for the purposes of other transactions, this won't be any different compared to saving this addresses on Google Keeps since the hackers won't have any use of it and a public address won't give them any kind of access to your wallet.
1832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Andy Ruiz vs Anthony Joshua II on: October 14, 2019, 04:41:16 PM
I'm afraid a fit Any Ruiz cannot make the heavyweight minimum limit.Cheesy Andy got power enough for a heavyweight but I am not sure if a light version have the same impact, especially on a heavy and muscled AJ, bar AJ's face of course. Cheesy

Andy have good hand speed but we are yet to see his foot work. Andy is an aggressive fighter and if a fit one means an improved footwork too, so he can move well then Joshua gets schooled like a Lomachenko victim.

I like Andy Ruiz to win this rematch.

Andy Ruiz when he fought Anthony Joshua was over 266 lbs and the minimum weight for a heavy is just 200 lbs and I don't think Andy Ruiz lose 66 lbs in that picture. Don't worry about the power lost because he got shredded by a bit. He only lose fat and not muscles he may even gained some more because of his new training regime. Obviously the biggest gain he will have is the stamina he added becase of his new training. This will increase his chances of lasting multiple rounds much longer compared to before.
1833  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Soon Surge by 20%? on: October 13, 2019, 08:50:57 PM
The RSI might look bullish but it is forming a symmetrical curve pattern leading to is on becoming oversold again which means there would be another massive selling happening anytime soon so I would rather stay smart and not depend on a break out as of the moment.

I never liked RSI for the simple reason that it can indicate a bias towards a certain direction without actually leading to a move.

For every reason people think we might be due for a move up, I can think of twice as many reasons for the price to be due for a correction. Patience is key here. People believed that the $10,000 level was a level we wouldn't really dip under anymore with how "strong" the support was, and the same happens with the $8000 level already.

I follow a simple rule called; the trend is your friend. It's clear that the trend has turned against the bulls and those who go against the trend will be left with a bad taste in their mouth. I really wish I was this rational last year....... Lips sealed

That's why you have other indicators to look at and not only to based your trade because of the RSI. The RSI would just tell you if an asset is overbought or oversold but it doesn't completely say if it will go up or down because of it, other indicators should be used such as MACD and moving averages to confirm a move will happen because of it. RSI can be serve as some kind of indicator that will just point out on where it can move, it sort of gives you a general idea of the current situation. I love the RSI for what it is and I use it anytime just to see on what the next move will be.
1834  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 13, 2019, 08:12:12 PM
99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.

At first I thought the OP is about not spending Bitcoin because of its current price right now but I think the OP is trying to say not to spend Bitcoin because it is not fully accept/adopted yet and that is where I don't agree. How can we show support in Bitcoin if we just keep it on ourselves and try not to use it, it shows the public that is is better of inside in our mobile wallets and hardware wallets rather than use on what it is intended to be. It's like we are helping the mass adoption not to happen anytime soon since we aren't part of the process of making it happen. Bitcoin hodlers should also be spending it at their own free will and I don't think they need to stop doing it just because of the reason that its not fully adopted yet, we won't make any kind of progress in that way.
1835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Could Soon Surge by 20%? on: October 13, 2019, 07:22:52 PM
Just don't get your hopes up right now. This price jump they are talking about is highly dependent on the assumption that Bitcoin will hold the 7,700$ support and basing the current chart we have right now I don't think we are in the position to get comfortable that Bitcoin will be bullish anytime soon. If BTC fails to break out the 8,500$ level then we all know that we aren't in the clear yet and we might revisit the 7,000$ range soon. The RSI might look bullish but it is forming a symmetrical curve pattern leading to is on becoming oversold again which means there would be another massive selling happening anytime soon so I would rather stay smart and not depend on a break out as of the moment.
1836  Other / Meta / Re: Fake conversation by hundred plus newbie accounts. on: October 13, 2019, 06:44:50 PM
The project devs are either not updated with the new bumping system in the forum or are being fooled by bumping services by convincing them that newbies posting in their thread are bumping their ANN threads on top of the list. Either way I don't think there is a quick solution for this and the only solution I see is them figuring it out on their own that their threads are not going on in the ANN section and the bump service they paid are basically worthless. They would eventually die down and we would see less and less of this newbie accounts creating fake conversations as a racket to earn money in BCT.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: October 13, 2019, 05:58:30 PM
If you are thinking if there would be a great price pump coming for Libra then think again. Several countries like France, Germany, Japan, and China have already voiced out that they are either not open towards Libra or will proceed with caution with regards towards regulation for it so that already gives you a brief introduction on what the demand would look like if this has been already launch. Big markets such as those countries not being too open for Libra already gives you a hint that it will be a hard market for them. Not to mention that Libra would be considered a stable coin you won't really get any kind of price action from it since it's really not built to be traded on a regular crypto exchange.
1838  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 13 accounts(Member-Hero Member) participating in Hodium ponzi signature campaign on: October 13, 2019, 05:15:13 PM
From what I see users are still joining because the application is through their website and even if you posted a warning below they won't see it as they will just go directly to the link in the OP. DT members should act quick on this one and tag the new thread poster instead of tagging the participants who I don't think they are aware of joining a scam. And from my understanding the poster for the ANN thread was not paid as well when he posted the ANN thread, based on my understanding on the quoted message below.

Obviously a Ponzi scheme if you read their website. It offers common Ponzi scheme offers

The Hodium main account were flagged.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL ON INVESTING ON SUCH SCHEME

Yes i know but im juat join creative campaigh but he not pay me,
1839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Get into the $8600 Zone? on: October 10, 2019, 08:43:09 PM
If only speculation, i will agree if bitcoin will reach $9000 or more. Because maybe it is time to accumulate before halving. But i am concerned too about christmas, usually price dumped because people withdraw their money to do holiday. Maybe sometime market volume trading not much as usual.

This isn't absolutely true. If you recall December 2017 the bull run started as early as July that year and ended up going down during January of 2018, even though it started to fall from 19,000$ during December it still managed to go up from 11,000$ to 17,000$ from December 22 to January 6, 2018 making your holiday theory not possible. Holidays for me in the market don't really have an affect or any kind of factor influencing the prices the market itself is the only thing affecting the prices and maybe the news surrounding it. If you don't believe me just check out the charts and you will see no pattern involving Christmas season and Bitcoin's price movement or even the overall crypto market's price movement.
1840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unicef now accepting donations through bitcoin and ether on: October 10, 2019, 07:51:48 PM
Offcourse, these news sound positive. But... I have heard too many bad things about UNICEF. Big part of donations simply don't reach people who really need it. These money goes somewhere else. Though, these things still weren't covered in mainstream media globally. Offcourse, I'm nottalking that same things happens in all other charity organizations.

That's the sad thing about donations, once it has received by the donee he/she can do whatever they want to spend it too even the things they didn't tell you. It's legal and they aren't required to show any kind of transparency to you since you already have given the donation to them. But if there is really big happening like what you are trying to say I think the best way to solve this is to go and find for transparency with the help of the U.N. since they are a part of it. Investigating their own branch would look bad though but if they really want to help the world become a better place I think they should do it especially now when they are accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of donation which makes tracking down transactions a little bit harder for us.
