281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: October 17, 2019, 01:21:32 PM
The police can be help if you provide more detailed information, so you should notify the authority involved in these cases in order to promptly take action and recover the stolen money.

Such investments that provide 100% interest are unreliable. So we should be carefull because the chances are high that this is 100% :scam.

Yes this is possible because recently I've read a news about some scammers getting arrested by the police with the help of some organization for anti-cybercriminal (I forgot the name). They manage to track down those scammers using the address they used for depositing, they follow the movemement of Bitcoin until it goes to a known exchange wherein the scammers are trying to convert their Bitcoin into fiat currency then the police coordinated with the exchange and found out the identity of those scammers.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Before I Invest With Cryptoqurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 01:12:07 PM

4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.

That's a good assumption but you need a good amount of capital if you wanted to earn big because the value of top 10 coins is quite high which is not applicable for others that have a limited amount for investment like me which is why I do research on other project with big potential, usually the coin I'm looking for is the top 200+.
283  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if the all countries convert to cryptocurrency? on: October 17, 2019, 12:45:34 PM
Even despite the fact that many governments of different countries express a negative attitude towards cryptocurrency, many countries have long been pursuing a policy of transferring their citizens to cashless payments.  I believe that in this regard, cryptocurrency will greatly help and improve the quality of services received by each person.

Government is still finding ways to solve the dark side of cryptocurrency in which could take a lot of years given the nature that creating a new regulation is very slow but I doubt that most of the countries will just create their own coin if ever they convert into a digital currency so they can have a full control.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Harsh Reality About The Current ICO Project on: October 17, 2019, 12:02:54 PM
This is the harsh reality not just about your current ICO project but also to the big majority of the whole ICO market. Sweet promises are made for them to attract investors and make money. Road maps are full of them. Their whitepaper is also full of them. In fact, their developers can easily release mouthful of sweet promises if a potential investor is asking something about the future of their project. In end, it is either they will be forced to keep quiet, change the road map, or get out totally from the market.

Well I gues that the team sweet promises and amazing Roadmap are the tools to market the project and attract everyone to buy their tokens even though the team are not capable of delivering it which led for investors or supporters to suffer in the end. It sucks but that is the reality in crypto-space!
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How about STO token? on: October 17, 2019, 11:28:53 AM
STO might become a new trend instead of a token utility. Maybe STO is safer because it has an underlying and regulated by financial authority but there must be clear regulations when trading on the cryptocurrency market because in many countries, exchangers are still not clearly regulated

You have a point but as far as I know that only accredited investors can participate in STO, although there are some crypto investors who are not accredited but willing or have interest to participate in STO but they can't because of this barrier so I just think that STO is not good to market in cryptospace due to a limited participants.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do we get the best at this moment? on: October 17, 2019, 11:04:33 AM
Usually when a bad news or event happen about Bitcoin, the price falls down due to the panic selling which is natural on this space so instead of having negative thoughts about your Bitcoin holdings, why not take this opportunity to buy more at cheaper price if you really believe that Bitcoin is the future. It's still a long way to go for Bitcoin mass adoption but the only thing I can suggest is to trust the process and eventually everything will be worth it.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions on BNB for the future maybe in few years time? on: October 17, 2019, 09:55:45 AM
Well BNB has a big potential to grow it's price over time as long as Binance preserved their spot as one of top exchanges, BNB could also increase it's demand if they were able to add more use case for the coin aside from paying fees on Binance exchange and incentivizing it's users.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges that conduct IEOS You should stay away from ? on: October 17, 2019, 09:43:51 AM

Currently, only big exchanges can succeed in the IEO sector because they have large financial resources and there are many investors in the exchange so they are ready to create liquidity at any time for those who join IEO. I think before joining IEO, you need to study very carefully because recently some exchanges such as Latoken, P2P, Exmarket have a lot of IEO projects for investors to participate but the rate of making a profit is 0 % because no projects have been highly profitable.

In my opinion should only participate in a number of big exchanges such as Binance, Okex, Huobi, Kucoin, Gate because these are the exchanges that often have a lot of top projects.

We could say that the rate of successful project that conduct their token sale in big exchange is much higher than those who choose the small or unknown exchange but I think that a big exchange can't be the basis for a project to succeed because it's still rely on how the team will manage to market their coin and give more insights about their project acroos the crypto community. I said this because I've seen a lot of project that reach their goal even they conduct their IEO on small exchanges.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It's going to get harder for alts to list on the big exchanges on: October 16, 2019, 06:42:54 PM
Yes, it should be difficult to list on the big exchange. Imagine if anyone could list their coin on top exchanges easily, spam coins and tokens would be listed on there, ruining the top exchanges. Listing on top exchanges requiring some high standards or requirements. I believe when the project has successfully developed, they will be able to fulfill the high standard and listed on top exchanges.

I kinda like the idea of having a high standards before getting listed but not so sure if investors or token holders of a particular project will be happy about this changes because most of the time these are the people who are eager to get their tokens listed as soon as possible but what if the project they invested in didn't pass the standards? It doesn't mean that the project is bad or poor but this changes will give them a bad image once they got rejected for listing.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't just an investment, it is the future on: October 16, 2019, 06:21:54 PM
If you believe bitcoin is the future, then the right thing to do is to invest on it.
when it will be the future of currency, meaning the demand will increase and that would make us all who invested now successful.

The main reason why people are risking their money on bitcoin is because they see the potential of bitcoin to become more successful in the future.
We are talking about massive adoption here and if that will happen, we will surely enjoy our early retirement.

Aside from investing and holding Bitcoin, don't you think it is much better to spend it on a daily basis? like for paying bills, buying foods and buying anything online/offline as long as the merchant accept Bitcoin as payment, with this we could create more awareness about Bitcoin starting from ourselves and together we could build a better future of Bitcoin for the next generation to come.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Years From Now: Bitcoin Overtaking PayPal? on: October 16, 2019, 06:03:42 PM
Paypal and Bitcoin are two separate entities which are VERY distinct on their nature.

While Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency which has a value on the market, a limited supply, and an alternative means of paying, Paypal is a platform that deals with a website as an exchange. They are very distinct which cannot be compared to each other due to their difference in nature. Although the ends may be the same, the means are very different.

Assuming THAT bitcoin and paypal were to be categorized at equal footing (for the sake of the argument), bitcoin cannot replace paypal in the near future due to the latter being centralized and controlled by a company which renders it secured and trusted among users. On the other hand, bitcoin is a relatively new concept in which some countries prohibit the utilization of such.

Very nice explanation and I don't see any good things to happen on Bitcoin side if ever they overtake Paypal and as far as I know Paypal is accepting Bitcoin as one of it's payment method so there is no point for Bitcoin to overtake this allies  Grin Instead we need more big companies like Paypal that will accept Bitcoin too in order to increase the availability of Bitcoin in different countries.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Must Know Before Investing in IEO on: October 16, 2019, 05:13:30 PM

If IEO is launched on Binance, Kucoin, Gate, Houbi, Okex. I always appreciate it. They are promising

I disagree with this because not all of the project that was introduce by these known exchanges are promising, some of them is just using the exchange to get hype and attract more investors. The greatness of a new project still lies in the team efforts on how they will develop the platform, create useful partnerships and if they have what it takes to bring their idea into life.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Every tiny piece of Bitcoin is worth it! on: October 16, 2019, 04:50:47 PM
Bitcoin's value regardless of its quantity is actually important because we'll never know what would be its future value. Holding even a small amount of Btc is already a big preparation for the future price of it. It's better to earn and save more for your holdings. We must ignore even a single piece of btc because it could make us prosper in the future.

I do believe that Bitcoin's future is bright though there will be negative events that might happen along it's way but if we put our trust and continue supporting Bitcoin then I'm pretty sure that our expections will become real someday. Bitcoin have a limited supply and if ever we achieve at least 50% of population around the world to use or accept Bitcoin then it's value will surely skyrocket so I totally agree that every piece of Bitcoin counts!
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: October 16, 2019, 11:40:43 AM
Investing in Bitcoin has never been so wrong because it has so much to offer in the future and if you ever bought Bitcoin during it's high peak and seeing the price now makes you feel that investing in Bitcoin is big a mistake, well you are totally wrong because you just made a poor judgement or bad decision that time. Bitcoin is still undervalue so holding it now is the smartest thing to do.
295  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold exist 1000+ years. while bitcoins exist 10 years. on: October 16, 2019, 11:05:34 AM
Gold invest by many people and bitcoin only invest by some one know with bitcoin, population of bitcoin investment only 0.5% for each country in the world and for gold more than 40% people save and make gold as their investment, Bank use gold as investment too because gold less risk with lower price than use bitcoin with big risk price down, inside with many people do not know whit bitcoin investment less education how to invest with crypto.
That's because Bitcoin is still young while gold has been around for thousands of years ago, so people's knowledge about gold is good enough, while for Bitcoin there are still many people Who do not know very well about the world of cryptocurrency, so people prefer to save their assets in gold.

Abosolutely correct! Gold has proven it's usage thousand years ago that is why people acknowledge it but on the other hand Bitcoin is still on it's early stage wherein people who doesn't know anything about it are still discovering it's uses and value. It could take a lot of years for the mass adoption but the good part of it, is we got exposed already in Bitcoin that we could use as advantage in the future when Bitcoin's worth is fully realize across the globe.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin's future. on: October 16, 2019, 07:37:41 AM
The more new coins that are present in the crypto market, will certainly enliven the crypto world. My question is how do you look at the future of the altcoin, with fairly tight competition. Will it affect the price of old altcoins, such as Ethereum, XRP and others.

I don't think that the new created coin with same concept will really affect the price of old altcoins because they have already built trust with it's users and a solid community that will support them in the long run. New coins might get pump with enough hype but the question is how long can they compete in the market with the veterans in crypto industry?
297  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What needs to happen in order for bitcoin to replace gold on: October 16, 2019, 07:13:50 AM

Maybe in terms of store assets there's still different opinions between this two, better to let them coexist and be classified according to how users understand the worth.

I totally agree on you with this one that Bitcoin doesn't need to replace Gold but coexist in the future even if they have in common in a form of investment, Bitcoin is still far for erasing Gold in our society in terms of it's usage such as jewelry, electronics and computers, dentristry and medicine, aerospace, medals and awards.

298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My list of 5 Sleeping Giants of 2020 :) on: October 16, 2019, 06:26:25 AM
the real giants such as ETH. BTC, the god, is also asleep.

He might forget to add ETH and BTC as 5 sleeping giant of the coin of 2020 Cheesy

We know that ETH and BTC have a chance to increase in every year. Bitcoin itself will have halving in the next year, which can increase so high. Ethereum can be the next potential coins at the market, which can also increase, especially if the ethereum 2.0 release. I think OP has a good list, but we might agree that bitcoin will be one of the sleeping giants that will get an increase in the next year.

I don't label BTC and ETH as sleeping giant because these two coins dominated the market for a long time and consecutively prove their status as top 1 & 2 coins in crypto market for each year past. With regards on OP's list, I consider Cardano (ADA) to bloom next given that they have an active community and rapid development.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: October 15, 2019, 07:30:29 PM
With regards of listing in bad exchange, I thing most of the project owners knows that listing on a well-known exchange will not help the price grow because there is no demand for the token yet and the price for listing is too much for them, which is why they ended up on unkown or what you say is bad exchange because they want the funds collected to focus in development and marketing the project instead of listing on big exchanges.
300  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one you buy Bitcoin or Ethereum? on: October 15, 2019, 07:16:44 PM
Yesterday the price of Bitcoin was $9700 and today the price is $8500. Yesterday the price of Ethereum is $200 and today the price is $170. So which coin is prefer to buy?

Both of them are worth to buy but I will prefer holding more Bitcoin now in preparation of Bitcoin halving next year because this could trigger the bullish run for Bitcoin though Ethereum has also up-coming major updates which is Ethereum 2.0 but not so sure when it will be launch, buying a bit of Ether is also a good choice so you can ride the bull of both coins.
