281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHARE AIRDROP POSTINGS HERE! Find out what an airdrop is and how to get started on: April 24, 2018, 07:28:33 PM
So, first off. What is an airdrop?

A cryptocurrency airdrop is when a blockchain project distributes free tokens or coins to the crypto community to bring attention to their project.

To receive a cryptocurrency airdrop, typically the only requirement is that you have coins from the relevant currency in your wallet. Examples of this format of an airdrop are: BitcoinCash, Byteball, Stellar Lumens, or OmiseGo. These airdrops required you to prove you were the owner of the Bitcoin or Ethereum at a "certain time or snapshot of the blockchain".

Other smaller airdrops, which have become much more popular recently are when a cryptocurrency project distributes a predetermined amount of tokens to the community who signs up for the airdrop. Sometimes these need social media tasks whether it be follow them on different social media sites like FB, TWTR, TG, etc. As of recently, some of them require KYC (Know Your Customer) uploaded to receive them. Personally I never participate in these because I don't trust anyone asking for KYC for just an airdrop- it's ridiculous in my opinion.

To get started up on getting airdrops you will need some things to get started off:
1. Telegram account
2. Twitter/Facebook Account
3. BTT account (obviously you already have that!)
4. MEW or Metamask wallet to store ERC-20 tokens. - a link for metamask can be found here: https://metamask.io/
5. WAVES platform wallet (only for some airdrops) https://wavesplatform.com/

Once you have this all set up you are ready to get started to sign up for some airdrops!
If you are looking to join a channel to get updated on them you are free to join this channel

https://t.me/airdrop_shark

You can also sign up for Earn and get paid in BTC to sign up for their exclusive airdrops! Check out this article I wrote on it. You can sign up by clicking on the link in the article: https://steemit.com/crypto/@ansteadm/earn-a-new-way-for-businesses-to-communicate-and-users-to-make-money

If you have any questions feel free to ask me on TG @ansteadm Smiley

Please feel free to post all your airdrops on the thread! Hope this helps those who have any questions!

Signing in to an air drop is like your are supporting the ico that started the airdrop campaign , it is one of their way to create a community by giving them a small amount of coins by signing up.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is buying new listed coin profitable? on: April 24, 2018, 07:27:09 PM
Good Day guys, just searching for an alternative way to invest my money to,
so the question is, is buying new listed token(token that just ended ICO) to an exchange profitable? do many of you do that? would you recommend doing that? or should I buy on their ICOs?

The price of altcoins in the market will decrease dramatically after the end of pre sale, the best thing to do is just wait for it to be released in the market before investing in order to earn more profit when the market improves its prices again.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to Buy? on: April 24, 2018, 06:34:42 PM
I think cryptos have just bottomed out for now. Probably is time to buy.Everyone seems to be shit scared.  Opinions?

The price of bitcoins today is slowly increasing so i suggest that you should not invest today because you will surely lose a huge amount of profit if you are going to use your capital, just try to wait for the dumping time in the market before investing.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can world Government Kill Crypto? on: April 24, 2018, 06:31:24 PM
"Regardless, just because South Korea, China, the US and other countries can crush Bitcoin by issuing new regulations and influencing cryptocurrency prices, it doesn’t mean they can kill it".  The above quote is from the research information I got when I was trying to find out why world government is fighting crypto. Please read the full text here: https://www.ccn.com/fighting-bitcoin-cryptocurrency-trading-threat-government-policies/ and make your own contributions. It will help cool the nerves from the crypto dip we are experiencing recently. Happy reading. Thanks

yes they can actually end cryptocurrency if they will ban bitcoins on their area but still there are countries who are being affected by cryptocurrency in a positive way so do not worry because you can still use bitcoins in other countries.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FAKE ICOs Bounties. What to do? on: April 24, 2018, 05:50:10 PM
I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

You can always check the road map if its too good to be true or realistic because some of the icos are having a very huge amount of fund for their bounty and it was too unrealistic that they will really give that huge amount of bounty so always try to check the ico before participating because some of them are scamming their participants.
286  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: April 18, 2018, 12:05:10 PM
When is the best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)

The market price is always based on supply and demand so obviously, you need to wait for the price to dump before investing  a huge amount in order to earn profit, and the problem about new traders is that, they are all panicking and selling their coins at its lowest price and that's the reason they lose profit.
287  Economy / Economics / Re: A wise strategy for your bitcoin on: April 18, 2018, 12:03:48 PM
Hello everyone, I want to share about my strategy with bitcoin and I need your advice.
So the example is, I've buy bitcoin in price $2000/btc with amount $750 so I have 0.375 btc. When the price climb to $4100/btc, I sell my 0.184 btc to get my first capital and get $754.4 and 0.191 btc left .then when the price dump again to around $3900, I buy it again with my $754.4, so I get 0.193xxx btc and  my total btc is 0.384xx. With my $750 I can keep increase my bitcoin with this strategy. So what do you think. Am I doing right with my bitcoin? Or you have any advice. Please explain.

The best thing to do is just hold your coin and wait for its price to grow before selling it again, always remember that investing and selling your coins at the right time will make you earn a huge amount of profit.
288  Economy / Economics / Re: Three reasons to invest in Bitcoin on: April 18, 2018, 12:02:49 PM
Quote
1. It’s gaining mainstream credibility as industry players consider it as the new gold – Bitcoin has many of the same qualities of gold, whose value is not controlled by governments.

2. Many investors and finance industry experts are serious about the promise of Bitcoin – A large number of mainstream investors and entrepreneurs already consider Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as a legitimate asset class.

3. There is only a limited amount of Bitcoin – There are only 21 million Bitcoin tokens to be mined and no new tokens will appear until after 2140. This makes Bitcoin a deflationary currency whose value increases naturally with time.

Source here.

These are interesting big reasons why it is so wise to invest in Bitcoin. I am sure that many people are still doubting Bitcoin whether it can be a good investment vehicle or it is just another risky venture that can collapse anytime. Of course, we know better. So in case someone would be asking you this same question, you just have to enumerate the three big reasons above.

Yes there are a lot of cryptocurrency platform that are really serious about their project and you are very lucky if you find one because the competition in the market today is getting tighter.
289  Economy / Economics / Re: Buying a house with BTC on: April 18, 2018, 12:00:19 PM
Can you buy a house with BTC? Yes! All you need is a buyer with coins and a seller that will accept them. The value of the transaction is as of the date of the contract, when the coins change hands.

Buying a house using bitcoins or other cryptocurrency is possible because there are a lot of new ico's that are using a concept of real estate so we can always find a best platform that can sell us house with a cheaper price.
290  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and not Paying Taxes on: April 18, 2018, 11:57:08 AM
I ran across this video a while ago on what can happen to you if you don't pay your taxes.  At some point during your Bitcoin career, the cryptocoin will be converted to fiat and that's how they will catch you.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hf2fNEUPjQw

I do not believe that earning cryptocurrency is not paying taxes because we have transactions fees by transferring our cryptocurrency to different wallet so how come they are saying that we do not have taxes because that can compensate as a tax.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Only a mature and regulated crypto market will attract big investors. on: April 18, 2018, 11:54:42 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/2018-mature-crypto-market-will-draw-more-investment-see-less-volatility-analyst-says

Obviously as an investor you understand there are risks but out of all the exchanges out there, i can think of 2-3 that I would personally trust with my money and in my case we are only talking about thousands, imagine a big player with millions using etherdelta or some other retarded exchange, no way that will ever happen. Even big exchanges like bittrex, not long ago, they fucked up and made everyone wait months and months to get your account enabled or verified. Why would any big player invest in crypto when the risk is so huge, there is literally zero safety, any exchange can run away with your money and you can barely do anything.

Yes i do agree on that, the investors today are looking on the platform before investing a huge amount because investing is also risky if you are not well knowledgeable about how the market works.
292  Economy / Economics / Re: China tells people to buy gold & silver on: April 18, 2018, 11:52:24 AM
Some major events as seen by China.

It turns out that there is also “advertising” for gold and silver in China, too. The big difference here is that it is China's government which is advertising the “opportunities” in gold and silver and it is urging the Chinese people to buy gold and silver.

An article from mining web-site, Mineweb quotes a program which appears on China's largest (state-owned) television company, promoting bullion-buying in general, but stressing that silver is currently the best value for investors (no surprise to regular readers):

https://seekingalpha.com/article

Chinese government told/encourages its citizens to buy gold and silver in 2012.

Its normal for china to have different business because their country is full of factories and china is also one of the biggest contributor in the market, crypto analyst are saying that china has $30 contribution in the market.
293  Economy / Economics / Re: Factor to Consider on: April 18, 2018, 11:50:25 AM
What are the factor to consider that would affect the price changes or price elasticity of the Bitcoin? This is what I have read:

1. Bitcoin supply and increasing/decreasing demand
2. Bitcoin in news: Influence of media on garnering negative and positive publicity
3.Bitcoin users and developers influence the rise and fall of price.
4.New technological changes to Bitcoin

For discussion for the above mentioned. You can check this link: https://hackernoon.com/factors-influencing-bitcoin-price-cfabdf634894

How about you? can you add more factor that can affect the price of the bitcoin? Comment below.

All of the market has the same concept of supply and demand even in the stock market's of different countries and because of that, selling and investing on the right time will really give you a huge amount of profit.
294  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin helpful to the economy? on: April 18, 2018, 11:49:09 AM
I think Bitcoin is helpful to the economy because it helps the people, may they be employed or unemployed. It helps the people to be productive especially on their vacant times or when they are not working. Bitcoin is getting a lot if attention in many countriesnow because it really helps the people.

yes it is, japan today is using cryptocurrency to improve their own economy and i cannot believe why there are countries today who are still banning bitcoins, if other countries just have the same idea then people can live a wealthy life.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO VS TRADING on: April 17, 2018, 09:39:03 PM
I want to start investing for ico and trading. Please to help from where should I start?

What needs to be prepared and cared for before starting it?

I am very grateful for the members who helped me in this forum.

and maybe this can also re-remind the new citizens who want to enter the world of investment (trading and ico).

thanks

In my own opinion, trading in the market is more profitable because it can make you wealthy depending on how much time you spend in the market looking for the changes in the prices of different cryptocurrency.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had to put all of your money into only 1 crypto, which would it be? on: April 17, 2018, 09:22:10 PM
Looking to see what cryptos people feel the absolute strongest on whether that's bitcoin, ethereum, monero, or some coin I've never heard of.

Check out this masternode service I found... They're really changing the game... >>> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3213738

Then that will be obviously bitcoins because the price today is keep on increasing as the time goes by and people are still interested for the past few years and it makes the price to increase due to the huge demand in the market and it lacks of supply so try to invest today while you still have the opportunity because the price will be more expensive in the future.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding is bullshit? on: April 17, 2018, 09:12:21 PM
I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

Holding is not bullshit because you can really earn profit if you will just hold your coins for a very long time and there are coins that are existing in the market that is really good for long term investment so do not lose hope on cryptocurrency.
298  Other / Archival / Re: Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world? on: April 17, 2018, 08:46:32 PM
Do you believe Crypto Currency is changing the world?

Why do think so?
What changes crypto made?

Cryptocurrency can change the world depending on the government if they will allow bitcoins to flow in their area, there are a lot of countries today in asia who are banning bitcoins and that is the reason why not every country is gaining wealthy from cryptocurrency.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC at end of bounty campaign on: April 17, 2018, 08:44:22 PM
What do you think about bounty campaigns that announce their KYC check at the end of the campaign? Many bounty hunters simply don't want to do that and the bounty managers or the ICO teams get free promotion for their projects.

Is this fair?

Every bounty thread should clearly state, wether there will be a KYC or not. We should ask the admins for changing the rules regarding this issue.

What do you think?

Kyc at the end of every campaign is really a bad call because the participants should not be involved to kyc due to that they are not investors of the ico's coin, i believe that most of the managers who ask for kyc are just trying to scam their participants.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: can eth reach over 700 on: April 17, 2018, 08:41:39 PM
anyone beleive that eth will reach 700 in next 30 days .  i think last april it will reach 600 and next month it will reach 700

The question should not be existing anymore, the price of ethereum has already reach the market price of $1k dollar the past few months ago so there is a huge chance that ethereum will surpass the previous price and increase even more.
