Keep in mind if you want your card graded you are going to need patience and a lot of money for PSA. Plan on a minimum of 300.00 per card plus insurance and shipping. Also you will need to be somewhat patient. I sent some in and what I found creates the most stress is the feeling they have so many cards there for sure yours will get lost.

What it seems like to me is the PSA 10's are flying out the door for the non super rare ones.

Raw 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter X Full-size, All-black - 989 - March 10, 2021
I'm sure there is hope when purchasing the raw cards that PSA will hand out some 10's. It seems that PSA 10's are in super high demand regardless of the crypto variety #83. I'm sure the long wait along with the costs are part of the reason for sure

I am not sure if we might be in a holding pattern right now

Notable Sales:
Raw 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Plain Jane Mini - 200 - March 10, 2021 (on Comc.com)
Finally, the minis are starting to get some attention. Long overdue. A mini should be at least 3x the price of a base card, that mean any one under 180 is a steal.
Thank you for posting these notable sales. For us treasure hunters it keeps us up to date.

PSA 10 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Hot Box Silver Glossy- 1,999 - March 8 2021
Not a bad deal at all, the cost and time to perhaps score a PSA 10 these days isn't a walk in the park.

So far it is a close race between the #213 and the #83 however there does seem to be more available eggs than crypto. The hot item is the PSA 10

I just don't understand it. At the prices these cards are selling at I thought for sure they had bitcoin attached.
Between this and those NFT things have we reached peak crypto insanity?
What peak? I stopped using the word peak a long time ago. Collecting is all about fun and enjoyment.

Just cards. We also put them in our bike spokes, to make motor sounds.
Yep. Wonder what cards they were? My philosophy on anything you collect is to enjoy the moment of your collection and never look back at what you should have kept or sold because of the what you could have made one way or the other. Time is too short. Just ask the person who found a lot of gold during the great gold rush of 1848. Enjoy the treasure hunting and share your good fortune with others.

2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Sealed X box (16 packs) (the box with the all-black cards) - 1,999 - March 4, 2021 2018 Topps Allen & Ginter Sealed box (16 packs) - 1,250 - February 23, 2021 Raw 83 Cryptocurrency Base Card - 238 (90 bucks seems high otherwise) (maybe they thought it was PSA 10?) - March 3, 2021 Raw 83 X Full-Sized, All-Black Cryptcurrency Card - 499 - March 3, 2021
Not a bad price on the x box. Also just an update on PSA grading, they have eliminated the economy pricing and if you want a quick turnaround it is possible but, it's going to cost you a lot of money and you will need nerves of steel between dealing with the post office and dealing with psa. Otherwise plan on up to a year to be on the safe side. +1 Without a PSA plan the minimum fee is 100. I thought 50 was a bit much last month The main point is the process is expensive, time consuming, and tests your nerves no doubt.

What isn't mentioned is that the turnaround time doesn't start when the cards are received, but rather when the order is logged into the system. Might take a week or longer, who knows. I have always felt that a refund should be issued if they don't meet the timeline you are paying for. Not going to happen.

And, I'm not sure that I'd agree with you on which card is the most valuable. Most collectors consider any bonified ERROR card the proverbial unicorn of what makes something rare. The graded 5x7 foil NNo #83 Cryptocurrency ERROR card clearly wears the CROWN here. I have good cards...glowie, brookies, minis etc....I am not delusional, that Error card will be world renowned....mark my words. By far the BEST card that I owned, ever, hands down. There is only 1 confirmed Error #83 card in the world....you do the math. I'm sure the 5x7 foil is special but, I will still give the crown to the regular size blank back. I do like to see everyone's opinion as I'm sure we all have them. Happy collecting and maybe one of us will stumble across the ginter x silver mini.

PSA 10 Plain Jane mini base card - $500 - February 27, 2021
Now this sale is a big deal. This is really going to drive values up but, will mostly be for the 10k and under cards for now that are PSA 10. The gold border, cello pack gold border, ginter x regular, black border, glossy silver. The PSA 10 no #'s, brookies, glowies and ginter x mini's are all above the 10K range in my opinion. Anyway, this is just my opinion. Also, I think the blank back regular size from the Topps vault is the most valuable stand alone cryptocurrency card. The printing plate rainbow is of higher value as a set. Black, yellow, cyan and magenta. The market will be the final determination. Need some whales, not dolphins.

With cryptocurrency becoming a high status thing to own where do we see the values of these cards in 10yrs+? Im of the opinion that all collectables will become scarce and legendary to own at some point. I can easily see all this stuff on this niche forum being worth 100x in 10 years+.
Crypto will be made cool, owing digital assets makes you part of the 1%
No one can predict the future but, I would lean toward higher prices for these in ten years vs. lower. We have seen a healthy jump lately but, havn't really seen any whales swimming around so we may be years away before the next leg up. Only time will tell us where we are going. Let's just enjoy the current ride and not look to far down the road

PSA 10 2018 83 Cryptocurrency Base Card - February 21, 2021 - 375
Any of the base card commons will need to be a PSA 10 to fetch the 3-5 hundred range. When you get to the numbered cards scarcity comes into play and the deep pocket collectors have to jump in. So far the highest price I have seen for a #83 card is about 8,000.00. We need to break through the 50k threshold .

Not only are the bitcoin collectors interested but, the card collectors are all over these. As soon as any high end rare ones sell, the roof will come off. I think the highest priced one for sale is 299,900.00 which seems fair for a 1/1.
