Most countries are in full control of their own monetary policies and financial systems. If a alternative currency is introduced, would this improve or reduce the efficiency of a country?
Will this remove their control or would it be just another payment option, like PayPal?
Why are governments so scared of Bitcoin, if they can regulate it's use. The first defensive tool seem to be banning the technology, which in my opinion should be the last resort. Should they not analyse the threat based on proper research and public participation. < like they did in Canada > and then make harsh decisions like this?
Why are they ignoring the advantages that this technology might bring and implement extreme precautions as a primary action?
Is Bitcoin really such a big threat to them or are they just misinformed on purpose? < influenced externally by people with hidden agendas >

Bitcoin give big boost in one country even government don't want bitcoin because it's big help to people to earn money in many ways. Bitcoin is decentralized so I think it cannot affect or bitcoin can't destroy the economic system of one country. |

I think the reason why bitcoin is dropping because of the people too. People that always make a fud news without any proof so the others get panicking because they heard a bad news. I think it depends on flow in the market if people still buying bitcoin and more investor I think bitcoin will not continue to drop.

recently ripple reached 1 usd and is predicted to go upto 5 usd by the end of next month.
while eth has rose 100usd in the past week and is being quite stable.
ethereum though not as accepted as bitcoin but still can be used unlike ripple.
so my question is whether i should invest in eth or ripple given i may need to take out my money back any time.
Investing in eth and ripple is good because the price is always in stable price. It depends on you because both are good value in the market now. And one thing crypto is not easy money that if you investment you can get a profit immediately. |

Hi, I'm planning to pull my insurance to invest in crypto for long period of time and trade a portion as well. Recently, I was wondering if I let my money sleep in my insurance for 10 years it will triple but I'm also thinking that what if at that time the value of my money is still the same as today because of inflation.

Now I feel worried about the future of bitcoin and crypto in general because every time there was a price correction I saw most people are not worried about the price and they all had the same opinion about it, they all said to wait and hold your coins or buy new more, but now I see that there are different opinions about it, that makes me really afraid of what happens now.

Been on poloniex for 6mos.. but someone told me that Bittrex is better
