I want to paint a picture here, Imagine what happened to Bitcoin enthusiast during halving, they all expected a price hike including me but market had already valued incoming BTC halving into the price of BTC before the halving and the halving event come with hope dashed. what I'm trying to say is this, the price of waves is not go to the moon when the full nodes launch because almost all the investors (both ICO investors and speculative traders) are waiting for this launch and the price has already be valued into the price at the moment, what would happen is that investors that have bought at above 40K satoshi for months now would want to take cash out likewise the ICO investors that his money have been tied down because the price was below ICO price. Sounds like another daytrader that got with his pants down... |

Sasha, For gods sake use some of those Millions of dollars and hire a PR firm, or just a PR person! You are CLUELESS when it comes to communication via social media. It's simply embarrassing that a company with so much invested is acting like a teenage idiot. Stop tweeting, stop making public comments and get your PR staff to do that for you, or at the very least advise you to STFU most of the time, or rewrite your idiotic spats. Stick to your technical work please, and even then it appears you are way slower than your competition. Unfortunately I think you're just greedy and don't want to spend your money. I wonder if the huge success in the ICO was actually it's downfall because your motivation isn't what it was or should be. I have to say, some of you are 100% sure that waves is not on polo just due to nodes. We do not know that. Hopefully it is this but some people might be really disappointed if it is not this. Who (well, polo team knows) knows what is the real reason. As a waves buyer, I hope it is this.

So what? This is basically just a fork of https://github.com/input-output-hk/ScorexEverytime Scorex puts out an update, you guys do the same. Has anyone notified Scorex that you've basically ripped off their project and sold it for 15,743 BTC (roughly $10 mil US)!? I am seriously contemplating building a full website to layout this scam wide open for the public. You guys closing threads and trying to hide the truth is bullshit. This scam is clear as day. Seeing Sasha nervous when he chats on YouTube and constant banning of concerned investors on Slack... there's just so much scam. Keep blaming trolls or whatever you want to brush it off as. You will be found out. We are anonymous and we will find your real identities in Russia or wherever you are. First of all scorex is open sourced, and sasha and the waves team are free (loved the irony of that mistake) to use it as they please, scorex already made an announcement about this. Secondly none of us invested in waves because of its groundbreaking tech, we invested in the businesslike timeline of how the scorex tech could take crypto to another level by being funded to provide a liquid asset exchange. Lastly dont try to veil your obvious FUD attempts behind scam accusations that are clearly documented proving your ill conceived manipulation as false. There are a lot of reasons to FUD waves. If sasha gets it off the floor it will compete with so many crypto services, and the best way to stop this competition is to kill it before it grows. |

One is certain, bitcoin going up and everything else is going down..  Maybe if something happened.. Bitcoin needs to settle at its new floor before altcoins can grow. thats true. that is why it might just be better for new coins to actually release after halving or when bitcoin is stabilized its price. By that time no dumpers will dump just to move to bitcoin in hopes to gains after price hike. Unless you know what your selling and you want a bigger share... just saying what your all thinking |

20th June on Bittrex  No Chance!!! I am calling it now! 25th at the soonest. Looking at the past history of this coin, more delays expected!!!! There is more chance me waking up to find an extra 5" swinging between my legs than Waves going to exchanges on the 20th. a I still don't know why they are bothering with a low liquidity exchange as opposed to Polo first. Lisk raised half the amount of money and they were able to secure that exchange ahead of time with an NDA. Yes one of the few things they got right on launch. We have Bittrex. I don't care if it's late, I want them to make sure it's secure and communicate the progress with investors. This is the part mxxxx seems to miss in his post. Rather than pointing a finger at profit driven traders, he can learn more about transparency. Good luck Waves team. I believe in the project even if I'm not a big fan off some of your recent actions. My plan is to enable exchanges one by one. I don't understand why we should rush it and be at all exchanges at once. Rush slowly. And why was Bittrex chosen over Poloniex for launch? Its called strategy... If you want to sell your coins and leave the project, open on polo. If you want to buy more coons before you do a release you open on bittrex. |

Bittrex launch will be for the liquidation of free bounty coins. Then will come polo, kraken, BTC38.... coinbase finex etc. Ill say this once so you guys can FUD it into obscurity and I can later pull it up to say " Told ya so..." People who dump on the initial sell off are going to be kicking themselves come winter. |

Just a quick question:
BUT: What is the reason, that my initial waves balance went from 16206 coins (fixed on Apr 12) to now June 13, where the chrome APP wallet shows only 3307 coins? (I paid initially 1.05 BTC the first day of the ICO). And where can I see the effect of the 25% bonus since I invested the first day?
So, Why did my balance decrease by almost 80% all of a sudden when the ICO ended, and how are you going to recover my lost coins?

Waves is 50 lines of code. You have all walked straight into a trap. 30 million dollars for dev and zero bitcoins for all of you!
Please don't post FUD. Verify yourself: The code at https://github.com/wavesplatform/Waves is 232 kB, and the code of all *.scala files in src/main is 562 lines, and Scala allows to write very compact code. Still not much code, but it uses the Scorex library, which provides all the code required to run a blockchain. I checked the code, i am sorry to say that this project is SCAM... Anyone can write this source code.. In addition, waves team earned so much money from ICO, but result is this? now im worried, Some newbie anon said he checked waves code and anyone could write. Now im really worried. Yeah i am newbie on bitcointalk, but i have 5 years of experience as electronics engineer. It will be better for you to check the code before talking nonsense. lol do you even know what a library is?? lol lol Approximately 200 lines of code. but seriously, this project is starting now. its not a finished product now. do you copy?
