Me and my team building a new Altcoin. The first Egyptian altcoin. So we didn't want to start it with an ICO. Is it normal to start a coin without an ico and if yes what is the effect of that
I have seen it quite a bit on huge projects recently. The first that comes to mind is Polymath. They did a massive airdrop to 40,000 people and that launched them into the market quite amazingly. REBL also did an airdrop only launch and they are doing pretty decently too. Poly sells for $1 right now and only launched 5 days ago. Just some things to consider. |

It was around $80 two days ago and that was the perfect time to buy in. I would suggest waiting to see if another dip hits today or tmrw and try to time your purchase with it. But yes, definitely buy some NEO if you can. I wish I grabbed some at $84. |

Hello guys i got really lucky and some of my altcoins received from airdrops have gained value.I want to sell it at its market price.Where can i sell it at its best price?
Also i am confused as to hold or sell the coins.The coins which i possess are at its initial stages so will its value increase with time or should i sell it now.Two of the coins are REBL and EQL.
REBL can be sold on either ED or Bit-Z. I would seriously consider NOT selling your REBL right now since they are in the midst of the market crash value and will easily come back up to $.10 within the next month. Don't be so hasty...plus REBL is a project with promise, so if you are smart you will hold them for a year or more. Since you figured out how to make some money just keep doing what you are doing and you will learn more ways to get crypto. Keep stacking. Eventually you will have 10 coins all worth $100 or more and from there you can sell a little to get some ethereum and trade alts or invest in an ICO and flip that. To sell you usually want to use Etherdelta when it is an airdrop since 99% are erc20 tokens and ED supports them from creation. |

Airdrops are what took me from faucets to actual coins. It was the best thing I learned when I got into crypto. I still do them since they can pay off big time and I suggest to all newcomers to get involved with REAL airdrops. Don't participate in airdrops that ask for donations and always make sure you give them your PUBLIC address not your private key. Making an email strictly for airdrops is also smart so you don't get a ton of spam to your personal email address.

You could always go to the loan section of the forum and take out a loan for what you need and use your altcoins as collateral. Just another option in case you don't want to lose out on getting your gains back since the market looks like it may start to recover now.

Do I agree with a fact? Yes. I noticed though that a lot of crypto ads are still going through. I am seeing about half as many as I did before, which is still a lot. |

many were simply not ready for such a situation on the market. As a lesson, for everyone who has started to deal with crypto currency, this situation should teach us to fix profits. Since every year we repeat the picture, we need to learn not to be greedy and not to fly into the market, but to try to enter the market on such falls and get out of it at a peak, and not sit and wait for infinite growth. many are sure that they burned themselves at the price that they were waiting for in 2017 and at $ 30,000 and now their dreams are broken. Just need to become smarter. And now buy the currency and, with growth, do not forget to sell and save the capital. What would be the money for a rebate in the next fall.
Well spoken. I learned quite a few lessons from this. Hopefully by buying during the mega dip I was able to cost average some assets and I will turn out better that I would have otherwise. I do agree that in the future we should look at these patterns and be prepared for them. I for one would have rather sold back in Nov. and rebought in now...but who wouldn't have? If only I had a crystal ball! I think the only ones capable of those moves are the market makers themselves because they are manipulating the price and therefore they can buy and sell at the perfect moments. |

I thought the merit idea sucked, and although it makes it more difficult to rank up, it also makes the quality of posts much higher. I am fine with it, just wish I could get to Full Member a bit quicker. If the last week is an indicator of how long it will take me to get to 100 merit from 10, it will take me over 20 weeks I think to get there. That kind of sucks no matter how you look at it when the fact is, if I created this account a few months earlier I would already be there.

As of now, the 2 best airdrops I have received in terms of profit would be - REBL and BTW. I hold both too and have sold nothing. BTW is currently around $.30 but it was around $.50 before this crash and REBL hovers around $.08 while it was around $.20 before the crash.
The first airdrop I got that was worth anything was SGR.
I was one of the lucky people that got the 991 SGR tokens and I was able to cash out when they were over $.50
I now sit on a few airdrop tokens that I have big expectations for. I have 5 different tokens that I hold over 100k of and 1 I have over 2 million. If these do anything at all, they will be quite profitable.

Deep Onion runs on TOR network which is different from bitcoin, which runs on open web protocol. User's IP's addresses aren't exposed through the network, thus making it much more secure for end users.
While this is true, bitcoin private fork will eliminate some of these issues correct? Also, if we are talking privacy coins, isn't Monero the king? I guess my point is that if we are talking about Deep Onion and Bitcoin, BTC was the original, what does Deep Onion have that can set it on top of a mountain of other coins? |

Not really. Monero will be better used for Privacy and although the Deep Onion community is strong, there are many strong communities within the crypto space, you just have to find them. I already think Onions are valued pretty high. |

I think the major dip is finally over, but I am assuming we will see a lot of small dips going forward from here. Hopefully by April we will be back where we were a month ago. From there it would be nice to shoot back to November numbers...of course.

I am in Las Vegas where cannabis in legal and I can tell you that it is pretty much impossible to buy weed with crypto right now. There may be many coins/tokens out there like PotCoin, Paragon, etc..but the issue is that banks are slowly allowing cannabis businesses to open accounts now - removing the need for a cannabis related crypto solution. I myself am the founder and manager of a cannabis / crypto related project, but it does not have to do with solving payment issues for the industry.

Interestingly enough I read about this coin a few days ago and was considering investing into it. I couldn't find much info on updates here in the forum, but I just saw this thread and will join their telegram group and see what happens. I think it looks like a promising project if they can deliver.

It has been weird to see BCC hovering around $5-$10 over the last couple weeks after the destruction of the lending platform. I would have assumed after it dropped 97% in that single day, that nobody would be interested in it. I have seen though a few posts in FB crypto investing groups, people making good money just buying and selling BCC through day trading. One guy made over $2k trading BCC 2 days ago when everything else was red.
It is good to see major exchanges delisting this coin. It not only represents the biggest Ponzi in crypto to date, but also reminds people of all the money they lost in the scheme.
I am happy to see it go.
