281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIVE] Aidcoin Bringing Nonprofits to Blockchain. Token for Charities on: December 15, 2017, 09:12:32 PM
Is there any estimates on the value of an Aidcoin a year after launch?

Do you have any estimates when it comes to cost of customer acquisition?

We're expecting anywhere from 1-5 USD per customer. One of the great things about our project is that the writers that are there have a strong incentive to market their own articles and bring more readers into the platform in order to increase their rewards. So not only will we be working hard to bring in new users but established writers will actively pursue more traffic for their posts and the platform as a whole.

That's a definite perk to a platform like this. How much do you expect the average customer to spend on Scorum, over their lifetime?

When you get a chance.

So as long as you have FAN, you can participate with any teams play calling? Would this allow for sabotage?
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO - LIVE] Telcoin - Cryptocurrency for a Mobile World on: December 14, 2017, 10:09:25 PM
I'm curious how your team tracks trends when it comes to this space. I want to know where you guys get your information since you seem to be on the cutting edge?

This is a good question. I think a team is only as good as it's ability to stay up to date.

Agreed! We are very close with other established companies in the space (OmiseGo, TenX, etc) that we speak with and always share information. We are fortunate to have our advisors actively speaking with us and discussing what we are doing and what they are hearing. Moreover, Paul always has his finger on the pulse of the Telco market as his connections are always within arms reach.

Ah can't forget Shimo! Our lead dev is a rockstar and is highly rated on github.

That's awesome. I'll have to checkout what else he's worked on.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LIVE] Aidcoin Bringing Nonprofits to Blockchain. Token for Charities on: December 14, 2017, 10:07:23 PM
What sort of growth rate do you expect for Aidcoin? Do you believe it will be the predominate form of charity donation eventually? How long until this becomes a reality?

Really need to know about this before I'll be able to invest.

It is clearly our aim and our vision to make AidCoin the preferred method to donate transparently through blockchain technology. We are developing a solution that really helps solving problems currently present in the non-profit sector, so we believe it will be adopted both from charities and donors.

Obviously blockchain technology and crypto in general are just at the beginning of their development and mass adoption will require time. However, we strongly believe that this will be the future, so being the first mover on this sector gives us a strong advantage.

That's a great argument for your own case. No estimates on the time frame for adoption though? It's really hard to tell in this field, so I can understand your hesitancy. This last year, in the crypto world, has felt like a decade in just about any other market.

For sure time really seems to pass faster in cryptoland than on any other market.. We believe it will be a monthly timeframe (6/12 months) to spread AidCoin adoptions to a core base of donors and Charities. However, to answer your first question (becoming the preferred method for donations), timeframe realistically will be years, since it will take time for the technology and cryptos in general to go mainstream.

I'm glad to see you have a realistic view of the market. I can't tell if some ICO's are delusional, or just trying to make their ICO appealing at the cost of honesty.

Hi all! Check out this video with co-founders Patrick and Sohrob addressing some FAQs about the FCFL and the token sale: https://youtu.be/Hge6ugBvkzI

Thanks for sharing. I feel like video media is such an undervalued means of communication when it comes to ICOs.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FoodCoin (FdC) - currency for business and social activity on: December 12, 2017, 08:36:18 PM
Who do you imagine would be the main user of this token? Regular customers, or more business focused like restaurants?
Both of them and many others: agricultural equipment manufacturers, food delivery services, other consumers and producers of food and related products

Wow, everytime I come here to read new replies I hear about another new use for your token. It's incredible just how many uses there are for what I thought was just a simple token. How would agricultural equipment interact with Foodcoin?

Personally I think 2018 is when people really start to catch onto crypto. The last half of 2017 saw a whole lot of new people, and they're going to act as just a precursor wave of the tsunami that is mass adoption. They'll go tell all their friends, and then those friends will each tell 4 more.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cardano the new NEO? on: December 12, 2017, 08:27:55 PM
Hi,

I think Cardano will be a lot bigger.
What do you think?

The new NEO?
Edit: I mean NEO because the price will increase a lot Smiley

Ambitions of this project are really wonder me. Ada cardano tokens are traded on some famous platforms yet including Bittrex. If it will be currency like NEO then we have not so many time to get big profits of it.

Yeah I'm just waiting for their next big announcement to really push it into overdrive mode.

Do you have any estimates when it comes to cost of customer acquisition?

This is actually easy to figure out if you have your marketing budget, and your projected user base.

I would have loved to see the look on the faces of that coaching staff when you bought the Screaming Eagles, and told them you would no longer need them.

Is this really how it worked, or did you keep the entire coaching staff on board for other duties?

The Screaming Eagles was a brand new franchise, so there was not a coaching staff in place when we bought the team. In fact there was nothing in place, we built it from the ground up with fans making all the decisions. So we did hire coaches, but they already knew when we hired them that fans were going to make a lot of decisions that they generally make.

That's remarkable. This must have been such an amazing experience for you guys.

Hard cap is not very big and can be achieved easily because of the potential. I will be studying more in following days about project but at large it seems very good approach to make cryptocurrencies usable by large number of people to take them one step further.

Thank you for the positive outlook! Let me (chris) know if you need any questions answered.  Smiley

Maybe you could answer my question.

My apologies, but i don't seem to see a question. More of a statement regarding the hard cap and your intent to study us more. If there was something i missed, please let me know the question.

You must have missed it, it's further up. I'll repeat it here, is there an advantage to being registered out of Singapore? Maybe more lax telecom regulation or something? I'm clueless when it comes to this industry.

Or did you just happen to have familiarity with the environment when it comes to business?

It was mainly, at the time and still today, the regulatory environment that made Singapore a destination for many crypto companies.

Yeah that's what I suspected. I wasn't aware Singapore was known for this though, thanks. I'll have to do some more research.
