its something like a friendly fork required because the technology change is so big u cant upgrade the old blockchain
this means DMD v4 is a complete new blockchain with new technology and new address schema
this means we can just allow import of private of old chain to have access to ur allocated coins on new chain
we need to proove that u where a owner of a DMD balance on v3 chain at snapshot
if u can proove this via cryptografic methodes (can be easy done in v3 wallet gui)
then u can claim a DMD v4 balance at same ammount of DMD to be allocated on ur desired target address on v4 chain
so in its essence v3 chain stay alive and dmd v3 balances stay there but as soon as we start v4 chain our team focuses on v4 codebase and everyone who want to join the evolution claim his coins ans request v3 snapshot balance allocation on v4 chain
v3 is open source whoever wants can continue maintain it we only request to rename it to DMDc DIAMONDclassic
exmarkets and p2pb2b exchange will support v4 and their markets switch to be v4 markets
crex24 dont support custom ethereum technology nodes and will stay with v3 nodes
