281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA - Unmoderated thread on: March 15, 2016, 05:07:40 PM
Okay, noted. Question was pretty general, never used it and just wanted to be prepared.

All such tools are accurate because of nature of VMs.

Extremely funny that you'd inject "technical questions and answers" into a thread that has nothing to do with that.

It's a thread on IOAT, isn't it.
What's funny about it?

He's just paranoid alcoholic don't take his words seriously.

On which exchanges is IOTA available atm?

Thanks in advance.  Smiley

Not yet on exchanges. We are in alpha testing phase, after that is beta testing and then full launch.
Rough eta for full launch is few weeks, soon after that comes exchange listings.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA - Unmoderated thread on: March 15, 2016, 04:26:36 PM
It is also important, the potential "investors" of the IOTA scam understand: the Lukashenko dictator's dick licking lead developer CfB who is hiding in the shithole of Belarus (and lectures US & UK citizens about democracy, politics and society, but that is another matter), and the IOTA CEO David boy have never ever generated a dollar revenue from a legit business venture or in fact from any businesses. The only "business" experience of these scammers is to lure money from the idiots via the NXT, JINN and IOTA money collecting operations.

Therefore, do not invest in the IOTA scam! If you have already invested, but by reading the truth about IOTA in this thread you feel you are the victim of the IOTA scam, then send me your personal details and I will forward it to the relevant law enforcement authorities.

Too late honey I'm allready all in!  Kiss Kiss
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ◆Rubies◆ [RBIES] Trade-Mining | Backed by established business at launch. on: March 15, 2016, 01:44:59 PM
C-Cex has made the Trade-Mining payout on Rubies to user accounts. It is highly suggested you take advantage of this distribution method as the Rubies you earn per 1 BTC of trade volume completely offset the cost of trading. This is like free money traders are leaving on the table by not making volume.

If you missed the announcement the information is on the OP.

Trade mining promotion is really interesting and something completely new but the amount of 10 rubies per 1BTC trade volume is quite low.
Generating 1BTC of trade volume will result in fees of 0.002BTC and 10 rubies is only worth about 0.00053 BTC I think the amount of rubies per 1 BTC trade volume should be much higher to make
people take advantage of this offer more.

You raise a very good point, thank you for your input and I completely agree with you. I'll make some changes to the graphics and contact C-Cex; I wish for Trade-Mining to be a huge success and will take a more aggressive approach. Look for this change soon after admins are contacted, thank you for your insight.

-Bjorn

Well that was fast!  Wink

287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uncharted Territory ....... ? on: March 15, 2016, 12:05:54 PM
BTC bag hodlers suffer from tunnel vision. They can see no other than BTC and its failed payment system. The community and dev quarrels and indecisiveness killed it.

True. It's actually pretty impressive that BTC ever got to over 10b mc. Alts will eventually (I bet more quikly than people think) replace BTC it's just a natural evolution of things.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: LISK price speculation on: March 15, 2016, 12:01:15 PM
Will probably see a good roi in the short term but I don't really believe that Lisk has good chances to survive long term. It's just trying to ride the ETH train, it's very similar
to ETH and offers very little anything new.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH GETTING DUMPED HARD!!!! on: March 15, 2016, 11:58:32 AM
Just some small bumps in the road. ETH will dominate in the long run.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum reach Bitcoin on price charts, or even replace it? on: March 14, 2016, 09:15:31 PM
ETH will overtake BTC mc this year.

Really nice video. I like the visual feel of it.  Smiley

I know of Litecred
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 13, 2016, 08:54:02 PM
Im seriously thinking about dumping a shit tonne of btc into eth and going all in on eth.
Am i crazy?

That would be a wise choice even considering ETHs rapid rise. I just don't see a bright future for BTC. Too many problems with the foundation and scalability etc.
I honestly believe there is a good chance ETH will overtake BTCs mc this year. Am I crazy?
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Poll: When will Ethereum Market Cap Exceed BITCOIN's? on: March 12, 2016, 05:17:44 PM
This year is possible. Also some other alts will see big growth.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Vitalik flee the country after the Eth scheme implodes? on: March 12, 2016, 04:27:49 PM
I don't see how you can compare Eth and Vitalik to the MtGox situation.  Huh

hahha your kidding right?
i would eat a red shoe if this ever hit trex omg lmao

Trex does list a lot of random altcoins so I don't see a reason why this coin couldn't be listed there.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: IOTA on: March 12, 2016, 04:20:11 PM
I pledge 1000 IOTA (payable after launch) for a short description understandable for the average bitcoiner of

1) how and why consensus in IOTA works
2) how and why it solves scalability
3) why zero fees are possible

We could post this on reddit etc.

Feel free to add IOTA to the pledge, if you think this is important.

Everyone should add at least a small amount to this.

I'm pledging 250 Iota

Also, what makes it quantum resistant, and how that works. I feel this should be written in a way that is easy to understand.

Maybe someone can come up with a simple analogy that helps to explain how Tangle works?

Maybe add none of these things, just things we can think about.

Great effort. I would pledge more, but Im no whale, and want to support other efforts as well.

Yes, this is important. We should also make this visual ("a picture is worth a thousand words").
I pledge 999 IOTA for funding the infographic.

I pledge 1000 IOTA for infographic too.

Really great ideas. Visual easy to understand presentation of the Iota whitepaper would be good. This would include how the dag and tangle work, I still don't understand them  Embarrassed.
I can give 250 iota for the bounty pool to make this happen. I could give more but I'm a small fish not a whale and I only invested about 50% of what I intended to invest in Iota in the ico(I invested the other 50% to another altcoin which didn't deliver their promised platform so it died off and I lost my invesment, so I'm basically all in on Iota currently).
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: March 08, 2016, 05:22:11 PM
If Bitcoin is still above 1 dollar a piece in 2020 i'll be surprised.
