281  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: October 26, 2017, 02:15:40 PM
Your investment amount is the amount you can afford to lose and realistically should never exceed 30% of your income. I think this way is a safe bet.

Keep in mind at the beginning more important is to learn how to rather than the amount you invest in. Mistakes can happen, send the wrong amount, send to wrong address and so on. As an example, I can admit sending in rush etherum to wrong address on new exchange for me - Livecoin.com I took me 48h to recover, and they have a warning any found sent to the wrong address will be lost! I was lucky saying I am new to this exchange and I know is possible to recover, they said No, so I replied I will put negativie feedback on Bitcointlk.org and TrustReview and I already left here enquiry and it did help at the end of the day.
282  Economy / Economics / Re: Why economists say Bitcoin a bubble on: October 26, 2017, 02:20:55 AM
I talk to big economists they say Is only a Bubble my thought Is no bitcoin Is revolution of economy even doesnt have a background like gold the value Is power of the people what do you think?

Anything that rise in price dramatically can be called a bubble. Property market, stock share and now Bitcoin. Economist may say that, but I am not 100% sure if they really understand enough about cryptocurrency. Bitcoin may not be backed by gold, but compared to dollar there is big difference - mine 1 BTC cost 1000$ according to John McAfee, and print 1000$ cost how much? Ink + paper in short.
Bitcoin is not backed by gold, but have limited supply, cost money to mine, and for sure will hold and increase in value.

Governments dislike Bitcoin because is not controlled by them. Banks hate because is competition. Economist try to evaluate but there is nothing like this to compare and maybe that why is for them hard to say anything good so they follow books rules and call it a bubble.

284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now? on: October 25, 2017, 08:49:33 PM
New user to the forums and new to Bitcoin overall, just looking for some advice. My friends have bought packs with USI-tech a few months ago when the price was around £2.5k per coin. I'm looking to get into it but just wondering when to go for it.

I've been waiting for the price to fall which it kind of has now, do I wait it out even longer for it to fork again in November? Or do I just put some money into it now. I've been doing a lot of research before I do anything but just want some opinions on here please.

Bitcoin price recently touched 6000$ for the first time. John McAfee predicts Bitcoin price will rise significantly in next three years.
If you afraid invest 50% your money now and keep other 50% for a bit later. I think any moment now will be good except when again BTC rise to 6K. Check charts for last few years and you will see bitcoin price was rising from year to year, there is no doubt about that.
285  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What to do for Nov 2017 hard fork. on: October 25, 2017, 01:35:38 PM
You can consider buying some good ICOS's during November Bitcoin update if you watch closely cryptocurrency markets. Just buy some Etherum with FIAT or spare bitcoin and invest in one of current ICO's or Top 10 coinmarketcap coins. During Bitcoin fork, I would not advise use you BTC just keep them in the wallet. Other alts price can be affected by looking at historical data and can have a great opportunity to buy on dips if you an experienced user.

I have already changed my avatar. Please give it time to change, it sometimes takes a few minutes.

Good for you, I see you change avatar more than I change gears in my zx10.

You should be will be extra careful with this fella, he was accusing genuine user for farming in a bid to tap managers back - and so far got  nothing in return, I lost my first campaign but you didn't get approved.

If you want continue conversation you can back to thread you was asking how to spot farming, my post is waiting for you.

I told you Karma will back to you...  (for accusing me without any solid proof)
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: October 23, 2017, 11:23:45 PM
Too many newcomers and whales was attracted to this ICO. That will squeeze like lemon MTH before abandon for new ICO. Price will never go down if there is no sales for less, why SONM price is steady and best is they don't sell below
ICO, Monetha holders do, and this damage price that may look attractive but is shit, it will go down for sure, no point to be even bigger bag holder, just wait until hits 0.02 - 0.03 why buy for 0.07?
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: October 23, 2017, 11:10:44 PM
Price is dipping under every day. BTC is just speeding up and this is nothing new which is why most of the alts are also down. I was expecting some tokens won't be affected but I guess they can't escape. The ones that I thought would rise up even when the dividend distribution is coming were still dumped. MTH team can't just stop it specially of the coming BTG fork too.

Only Token I know that price won't go down dramatically is BlackMoonCrypto, they have very professional approach and price protection on 0.80 base, so far my friend investing in BMC is on better position than me with MTH.
I must wait and can't do much about price, like I said before I stop buying because this is only ICO where price going down without any limits, I wait until drops to 0.02-0.03 before consider buy again and is looks It will! Now is better focus on other ICO's and keep this and forget about price, it won't chcange for better in few days it will recover months now of not more than a year.
292  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone with a bank account on: October 21, 2017, 08:59:51 PM
Hi, I need someone (or a company) with a bank account in the following banks: UBS, Deutshe Bank, Barclays, Citibank.
Payments will come from UBS UK, you will need to provide the amount received in btc, you can take 10%.
Amounts can go up to a million dollars, everything will be escrowed in Localbitcoins.

Not scam, its money laundering. If tax man finds you well you will go to sit for a long time. I am from UK and I had offers like this before but not on internet. Don't risk you life for 10% is not worth it.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Explain the concept of ICO's to a newbie on: October 21, 2017, 03:58:15 PM
I can recommend you check on YouTube: Hacking The System ICO - Ian Balina. He was working for IBM and decided to quit and invest in new ICO's. I think user: mjglqw is right, jump to ICO's is a deep water my friend but you can try invest tiny amounts buying from exchange after ICO's is complete and see how it goes. It's a bumpy ride I must admit for sure! I am on one ICO 800$ loss but it doesn't bother me - I am long term so either price will back and rise or I lose all. It's a gamble and you need to understand that. Always read roadmap/white paper and don't invest more you can lose.
294  Other / Meta / Re: Account farming. Allowed? on: October 21, 2017, 02:30:40 PM
But can you teach me your methods of looking for farmed accounts? They are starting to invade the signature campaigns and there might be some managers that are tricked in accepting them.
There should be better techniques in place to distinguish fake accounts from real. Sometimes genuine users can be accused of farming, and there is nothing they can do about it. I am sure 100% this happened already on this forum.
If you aren't shitposting/spamming, it is not likely that you're going to get accused of farming. Don't post bullshit.

Truth to be told I was accused by user I quoted above -> bbc.reporter
Now he forgot after exchange PM what he said when accused me (I was selected and he was not)
On last PM message he didn't bother to reply because he might realised that he actually made mistake.
My point is - don't judge until guilty is proven. Now my account I can put in trash - because no one will accept me for campaign.

I applied (first time in my life) - I was successfully chosen - I was removed from list while actively posting on forum - thanks to bbc-repo that knows better how to detect fake accounts and now here is asking here so it looks like his method is far from good, accusing normal account of farming. You can't reverse time, so I lost trust and credibility because bbc.reporter had second thoughts.

Thank you bbc.reporter you did marvellous job!

295  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Decentralized exchanges on: October 21, 2017, 02:22:03 PM
My experience with Decentralized Echnage like EtherDelta is mixed.
Pros:
- easy and fast access to new Token distributions  that has been recently in ICO
- once you know how tu use is not that difficult, user friendly on 50%
- more secure that central exhanges for sure
- no veryfication proces makes listing new coins easier
Cons :
- ETH network will need to get upgraded to chandle all transaction with acceptable speed
- exchange response time is sometimes so slow it can take 2 minutes  to refresh
- not user friendly

I belive one day Kyber Networkd or similar project will be on same lever with Poloniex and Bittrex.

below 8 cents now.omg this is not looking good.
who the hell is duming at these prices.in fact i would say the same thing when it was 15 cents so. Sad
not even mentioning the prices in BTC.

With this condition it will even go lower
They started the ICO to early

I will buy again when MTH drops to 0.02c-0.03c It looks like it will. I wait for proper DIP this time.  Right now Monetha is no more on my list to accumulate more. I spend too much FIAT too early on that project hoping it will at least keep value.
298  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If I were to format my phone on: October 19, 2017, 01:52:47 PM
If you uninstall wallet application and install again you will be asked for this 12 words. What I can add to this subject, once you have more than you can afford to lose in your mobile wallet consider move part of your bitcoins into "cold storage". Trezor and Ledger Nano S are good choices and there is plenty videos how to use it and reviews. Mobile wallets are very convenient but not very secure, have a look on YouTube for "John McAfee on Bitcoin 2017" this guy is CEO of antivirus company, watch what he says about mobile wallets. Is always good to know a little bit more.

299  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Your scammed experience? on: October 19, 2017, 01:18:49 PM
I never got scammed on this forum, but once I joined Token airdrop and I put my email address my account was hacked, password didn't work anymore and recovery via email as well. I had no access for 48h until I contacted Admin when he was online to could assist me.
Lesson was learn... never put your details in free distribution/air drop like email address, always have strong password and never use same password to multiple accounts.
