Another doubt. Should the deposit be in BTC only or can we send some other crypto equivalent of 0.02 BTC to participate in this contest?
It's BTC only and minimum deposit is 0.002 BTC. On chain fee isn't that high these days. IJust a question, don't you have BNB in your deposit? I have some few BNB but do I really need to swap it to Ethereum first?

I dont have data to back this but whenever I have prioritize Full Member and Sr Member account based on earned merits, I was deceived lol. As a campaign manager, you mean? That supports my theory that some local boards have different standards than global boards. That's not necessarily a bad thing, until they move their posts to global boards. Of course I can only judge the global post and that's where they write poor quality. Don't know their post quality in the local. Considering their poor post quality in the global section, I highly doubt that they write standard post in their local. |

Could this be a local board thing, where too much Merit flows towards posts that aren't objectively high quality?

I find most of them write shit when I explore their post history. Some people share merits just because they are their local user. I too share merits on the local topic and I used to prioritize that but as long as they are a quality post. |

Op is being vague here based on what I observed. He mentioned that the 10% bonus needs to be 1x wagered in order to withdraw it successfully, but he didn't talk about the wagering requirement related to the 0.2 BTC prize.
If the wagering requirement for that prize is high, it nullifies the hype for this competition. If it's around 1x, it would amplify the hype for this competition.
It's same for 0.20 winning too. 1x wagering requirements. Maybe he didn't notice that. I asked them later and they confirmed it. |

Still a very good deal in case you are one of the picked participants. 0.02 BTC (about $1,000) is mouth watering,  the only challenge is we don't know much about the wagering requirements for the promotional offer, which could either be extreme or not. The reward is 0.20 BTC not 0.02 BTC. There's a huge gap in this  There will be no wagering requirement for this 0.20 BTC winning as far as I know but let the representative confirm.
Since there's bonus offered and there's limit on the bonus, KYC will be asked on case basis when MetaWin will find someone suspicious. Imagine someone abusing with 100 0.002 deposit to win the prize. It's possible so KYC can also be asked. |

The tweet suggests you must repost + follow in addition to the BTC0.002 deposit. How will they match users' Twitter and Metawin accounts though? It can be done through cross check. Like picking the winners from repost and then checking if they have deposited. Or picking users who are eligible by deposit and then asking their twitter handle. For this competition in bitcointalk, I wont check twitter either. |
