Seriously, whatever you do dont use Tradehill, you will get your money tied up for a long time or worse and have no reply from the customerservice at all.

Seconded
284  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tradehill moving bitcoins? Has anyone gotten out this way? Crypto X Change? on: January 21, 2012, 07:49:09 PM
Whatever it takes, man - I've been waiting over 3 days now for a btc withdrawal on TradeHill...I've emailed & PM'd several times and not a single reply.
285  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What happened to Tradehill? on: January 21, 2012, 07:45:24 PM
Yeah, I've been waiting over 3 days now for a btc withdrawal on TradeHill...I've emailed & PM'd several times and not a single reply.
286  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Purchase Bitcoin With PayPal - Crypto X Change Coupons on: January 21, 2012, 03:09:52 PM
Well we all have our own opinions.  I've been selling things such as Amazon coupons on eBay for a few months now and whenever I get a dispute I just bring up the DCN and eBay makes the buyer prove it rather than the seller.  The buyer generally never can. Just my experience. Smiley

Really?  PayPal Seller protection does NOT cover digital goods.  The one and only time I tried to sell digital goods the buyer claimed that their account got hacked.  PayPal reimbursed the buyer by reversing the charge.  I never recovered my loss.  NEVER sell digital goods on eBay or through PayPal.

Nearly 3 days now and this still has not been resolved.  This is outrageous.

zendesk.com is an outsourced helpdesk provider. i would say you're dealing with a legit support system..

http://www.websiteworthrank.com/www.zendesk.com

I'm not questioning zendesk.com - I'm questioning whether tradehill.zendesk.com is tradehill controlled or possibly a phishing site posing as tradehill.
289  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TradeHill - Problems withdrawing btc on: January 21, 2012, 05:16:47 AM
Well, I finally got a reply...maybe.  I got a request for a picture of my ID and myself and crap like that.  But the request came from tradehill.zendesk.com  I'm trying to get verification from a tradehill.com email address that they are indeed using zendesk but...still no reply on that.  Anyone know if tradehill.zendesk.com is legit?  It has a very scammy feel to it...

I finally got an email from them but still haven't seen the btc.
291  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TradeHill - Problems withdrawing btc on: January 21, 2012, 01:23:46 AM
Big BTC withdrawals over a certain value have to be confirmed manually on TradeHill

So...how long should I expect it to take?
292  Economy / Gambling / Re: [BTC On Tilt] - wtf? on: January 20, 2012, 05:32:28 PM
My balance was reset to 0 when the site was upgraded or something. That's incredibly scammy behaviour and people should avoid them at all costs.

I agree - they should be labeled as scammers in the forums.  This behavior is unacceptable.
293  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: TradeHill - Problems withdrawing btc on: January 20, 2012, 05:30:06 PM
49 hours now...still not so much as a reply from them
294  Economy / Currency exchange / TradeHill - Problems withdrawing btc on: January 20, 2012, 02:00:32 PM
TradeHill claims to execute btc withdrawal within 12 hours.  I've done many small withdrawals before and they were often executed within minutes.  But this is the first time I've done a large btc withdrawal (over 1000 btc).

I've been waiting about 46 hours now and nothing.  I've been trying to contact them via email and forum PM since the 12 hour mark and I've received no response at all.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Is there any other way to get their attention?  I can't even find a way to cancel it and do smaller withdrawals instead.  I needed this btc yesterday!!!

I recommend memory dealers, though you do pay a premium over mtgox prices:

296  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 + Previous Generation Card on: January 19, 2012, 05:12:21 PM
I assume you have either a display connected to each card or a dummy plug in one of them?  Even without that I'd think that it should boot.
297  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 7970 + Previous Generation Card on: January 19, 2012, 05:03:48 PM
Yeah, and formatted the drive with a fresh install, and used ONLY the 7970 drivers.

Oh, I see.  So does the 5870 work by itself with the 7970 drivers?

Did you use driver sweeper to wipe out the old driver installation?
299  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starfished for over 3 hours? on: January 19, 2012, 03:35:27 PM
So I just got up.  Have we still been * for the last 12 h
?

My market order for 1 btc went through an hour ago (it had been placed nearly 24 hours ago)

Edit: That said, it immediately went back to * after it got executed
300  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 5 BTC bounty....how to run Phoenix on Win7 64-bit on: January 19, 2012, 04:50:06 AM
Is that per card or between 2?

If that is each then all I have to say is wow!

between 2.  Now I am getting about 600 MH/s per card with core at 1000

Nice!  And thanks!
