282  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Can you run 5 GPU's on Windows 7 x64??? on: August 25, 2012, 07:24:36 PM
What you need is

Windows 7 x64
11.xx drivers

12.x drivers don't support more than 4 GPUs.

+18C and some clouds. I'd say not bad at all!
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Paying a dentist using Bitcoins on: August 24, 2012, 04:38:42 PM
http://meidanklinikka.fi/

As you can see from the frontpage, they accept Bitcoins! This is awesome. One can now use Bitcoins to pay for a dentist. Unfortunately this is in  Helsinki, Finland so the number of users is limited to finnish bitcoiners.

If you really have 1200kh/s = 1,2,h/s your 8 shares are right. Most GPUs average over 350 000kh/s.
286  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: August 21, 2012, 06:16:58 PM
I think they offer Yubikey, you can use the one you may got from mt.gox or somewhere else. Do you have one yubikey?

I'm using Google authenticator, so no Yubikey. Maybe I need to get one.

We offer YubiKey, you'll need to purchase one directly from yubico https://store.yubico.com/store/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=2

I'll be posting a video showing how to set them up at some point

Hey PC,

I have a bit of feedback (constructive) on, https://support.intersango.com/status. I  deposited £7 today and did not realise until now theres an asterix  "* While we strive to follow this schedule, there are situations in which the time to process a transfer will be longer. We will attempt to update this page if such a situation arrises. "

Would it be a good idea to have a date and time of when these updates are posted on the support page ?

Im not fussy or having a go ive been waiting over four hours but if it was more clearer it could help your customers and save on support tickets and bombarment e-mails.

Hope that makes sense.

All the best

Why not lower the mem down to 150mhz :O
288  Other / Off-topic / Re: Diagnosing and repairing the common Mini-Rig on: August 18, 2012, 07:54:25 AM
Is it profitable to miss out on a week of mining at 24GH/s just to get 25GH/s in the future? I would hate getting a dead board, but Im just curious.

Not profitable. That's why he is sending only the broken module to BFL.
289  Economy / Speculation / Re: Under 12 before Sunday. on: August 17, 2012, 07:13:12 PM
But everyone knows that the price will drop so why sell? Everyone keeps their coins and the price stays the same.

Some of us know that the price will stay the same so we are going to sell... but why sell if the price drops because people are selling Cheesy Speculations is guessing and there are three options right now: up, down or flat.

He is not the only one. My withdrawal (2596EUR) was "waiting" for almost two weeks. I canceled it after that, bought less BTC back and made the conversion other way.

fucking retards at intersango.
291  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: August 16, 2012, 04:01:13 PM
interesting, $ and BTC in and out is still working fine and fast.

BTC out not working for me

One can still deposit BTC in, what a joke. I just tested.

It would be great to read an official statement about what's going on... I don't see any reason why Intersango would fail permanently. They have(had) a lot of customers in EU so it would be stupid to end a good business.

I' had zero problems. Just plugged them in, updated FTDI drivers and started cgminer. They have been hashing happily since.

Maybe you should tell a little bit more about your problem.

AND calm down a bit dude. 10 posts a day? Read more, post less.
293  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator [v0.19] on: August 05, 2012, 06:07:23 PM
Previous versions worked but 0.19 seems to crash everytime. It actually crashed the whole computer once.

This is what I'm using

oclvanitygen -d 0 1bitcoin

Using 6970 with stock settings on windows 7 64bit. Help, anyone Cheesy

Could be a problem with my GPU since CPU works perfectly?
I don't know, GPU mines normally with cgminer.

This is awesome!

295  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: 7970 + 5870 should be getting 1000 Mhash/sec,only getting 400? New Install on: July 26, 2012, 09:03:09 AM
More info: according to MSI Afterburner, the two GPUs are both at 100% load, and they are heating up like it. It's like the rest of the work is getting lost somehow?

Reset worker on BTC Guild.

Let them hash for 30minutes.

With 1GH speed you should have produced ~420 shares in 30minutes.
296  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL ignoring my email about their empty parcel on: July 25, 2012, 05:28:56 PM
TO BFL

Is it possible to pay extra for a faster shipping and for insurance? Small price to pay if you live in EU for example and have ordered SC MiniRig.
297  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Compiled Undervolting Results on: July 25, 2012, 05:27:30 PM
I copied the first, 680 core, .95v 166 memory

but i have 3 cards back to back, they're getting over 85C easy (on air)

anyone know how much underclock I can get to keep the temperatures down?

EDIT:

oops, I was wrong and they were all still stock, i put separators to hold the cards apart and they are able to cool better

when I remove the '#' in front of the designations to change clock or voltage i get an error and the mining won't run... Sad

Use Afterburner and PCIE-risers. Those two will solve all your problems.
298  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 58xx Card Power Consumption on: July 25, 2012, 05:26:32 PM
I'm not 100% sure about these numbers but my 4x5870 with 900/150/1,08V was pulling 550W from the wall. This seems really low but I remember that my efficieny was little under 3. (hashspeed/wattage)

In other words: You can run 5x5870 from a single 1000W PSU if you lower the voltage on every card.
299  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ Bonus PPS Pool - 101% PPS - Weekly Jackpot ] - Public Beta - OPEN on: July 19, 2012, 02:31:30 PM
Let's assume I mine 50 BTC during every Payment cycle and leave them to you for 4 cycles. Does that mean that after four cycles I get 55.5 BTC and after that I'm getting 55.5 BTC after every cycle?

Example in the OP just stated how much interest 50 BTC earns during those four cycles.

What Clipse does with the coins is none of your business bulanula since you don't even mine at Bonuspool.
300  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL butterfly labs Bitforce reflash on: July 17, 2012, 08:58:40 PM
Try reflashing again. Take the power off and plug it back on. Try reflashing AGAIN and power off/on AGAIN. That should do the trick. Try as many times as necessary.
