281  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Getting error with blockchain.info on: June 26, 2015, 07:29:16 PM
It's working fine for me, seems like it's just your browser issue. Clear cache or do hard refresh via CTRL+F5.

Ps: That's cloudflare error page's source code.

I did clear that already, but when i put Identifier and click enter, i got that error on full page. And after few seconds it vanished and again the same issue.

So what is the Issue

283  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost both seed and my google authenticator to my electrum wallet:( on: June 19, 2015, 03:44:57 PM
I had the google authenticator on my phone, but me or my son by fault deleted the app on my phone and when I reinstalled the app it was not linked
to my wallet anymore... In hindsight, I should never have linked the authenticator to my wallet, but that is too late now.

but the google auth is bound to your account. use google, you can even print paper codes - if you got access to your google account.

edit: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/1187538?hl=en

Paper codes only work for specific services, they will not work with Electrum / TrustedCoin 2fa.

If you've lost both your 2fa app (and have no backup of it) and your seed, you very likely out of luck, sorry...  Cry

but shouldn't you be able to just download the 2fa app under your google account? always thought that would be the backup function...

No there's no backup option, that's why people use authy these days.

0.0001    Internal transaction to 1FwGH2X3kKgbUSyphjysTLewU8QDBRqXzm
It's a localbitcoin's address, I guess you can contact them and ask about this address.

Two different Indian users sold me 0.49 & 0.483 BTC on localbitcoins same day, but I wont be able to help you unless you can provide me a lbc username.
287  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Lost coins... on: June 17, 2015, 08:03:54 AM
Nope, I see nothing. I was using the previous version just prior. Could be a general screw-up, but confusing as I kept my seed safe.

Is it synced properly? Last time when I did this, it took some time for electrum to show all transactions.
Click on that green button and manually select some other server, also please check your seed once again and make sure there's no extra space etc.

Thanks, that could be it. By extra space I presume you mean at the end?

Yes at the end.
288  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: address is gone on: June 17, 2015, 08:02:06 AM
OP if you need I can try to help you as well at no extra cost.
Ps: Do not send your seed/wallet files to multiple people.

Uno aint going anywhere but as an exchange CS has a better future. Uno is good now because of it's semi instantaneous-ness.

Btw I was asking about what happened to the Indians who were here during the old forum days. Benu da is just one guy who's hanging out since then, others would be Dishwasher / Pinu da / Nilam Doc / Amitabh  (doc) lol

I hope Mr Dishwasher retaliates ^_^

amitabh still visits sometimes but i don't see him often , about the rest - i haven't even heard of them. Yeah i know , you feel old now Tongue

Price is not enticing . Are you ready to negotiate ? I could buy a newer laptop for 25 thousand INR . Please mention why you are selling the product .

You can buy a new laptop for 15k also, Price depends on the specification of laptop. If you are able to get same specs as my laptop in 25k, you should buy it immediately.
Ps: I can negotiate 1-2k max if buyer is able to pickup directly from me or can handle shipping cost.

Still selling this laptop.
297  Economy / Economics / Re: I need bitcoin to be $690 to break even.....will I make it? on: June 09, 2015, 08:12:41 PM
It will make it, the only question is how long will it take.
Some people are calling for it to take years, while others are calling for it much sooner.
If you have some patience I'm sure you can wait it out and it wont take that long.
Good luck to you.

Thank you.

We have already waited so long, I hope it doesn't take another year or two

That sudden increase to 1k wasn't natural, I doubt we'll seen it in a few years. I'm calling no more than $400 by the end of this year.
I still have a unfortunate feeling that we'll stay around $225-$255 for a lengthy period of time.

Same thinking.

@OP
I Personally kept buying and selling daily locally without touching live trading platforms, I got loss by selling coins in cheap sometimes when prices went down, but the profit I got was solid.

If you don't wanna wait for prices to go up, count your losses right now and buy and sell coins till you break even.

Let's say you bought 10 coins at 690
690*10= 6900
230*10= 2300 (current price)
Loss=4600
Now If you have bought and sold 10 coins daily at 2$ profit per coin margin it would have taken 230 days to recover your loss and that means approx 7 months maximum. Anything above 2$ would have been your profit.

299  Other / Meta / Re: 50 BTC from the forum now frozen due to lack of moderation on: June 08, 2015, 05:10:35 PM
I thought this was not the case with 2-of-3 multisig transactions?

Lips sealed You are Right, I forgot about that.  I just remembered seeing theymos's comment about multisig somewhere in 2013.
300  Other / Meta / Re: 50 BTC from the forum now frozen due to lack of moderation on: June 08, 2015, 04:50:35 PM
Just read about him!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583286.msg6406604#msg6406604

I really think Multi-sig should be encouraged for all forum btc.

The main problem is it's hard to find trustworthy treasurers, currently theymos still holds most of the BTC.

Exactly, even with multisig, one missing person can block all funds.
