281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promising New Currency on: August 09, 2017, 08:46:29 AM
Hi Guys.

Thank you for the curiosity and the guidance on how to provide more information about the coin.
So far, the details I have are as follows:

- The company that will launch it in the end of November, will already have a member base of 2.5m people.
- There will be a a flood of 100 million coins at the time of launch.
- 10% of these coins are for the company itself and for rewarding the royal members of the company.
- They are setting up their very own block chain.
- The coin will be listed on big and popular exchange programs from day 1 that will enable trading of the coin by members AND non-members of the company.
- The coin be used as an accepted currency to make purchases of real products on the company's online portal.
- After stating the above, in my knowledge, this will be an ICO
- The company is called Futurenet. It is a 5 year old company with a present member base of 1.8m people. Their offices are in Poland and Dubai (where I happen to live).
- Futurenet has had a track record of success and every member is benefiting from their revshare structure because they have lots of money coming in to the company from outside investors. That is the reason it one of the few revshare programs that has actually lasted so long and plans to last much further with various sustainability measures in place - the coin's launch being one of them.
- Every royal member of the company gets one free coin per day from the date of membership till the launch date(25th November) PLUS 50 free coins as goodwill (royal members rewards).

The information shared above is to the best of my knowledge and more details will be available as the launch date comes closer.
I cordially invite further questions and discussions in order to allow people to take advantage of this coin.

Best Regards

Manish Valecha.

It sounds very promising and appealing. Can you say more about

1. Which is the 5 year old company? Can you share the link to their website?
2. Which kind of products the company will sell on their portal?
3. How can we receive free coins?
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Review my ICO page and get 10x free CMC tokens! on: August 09, 2017, 08:34:33 AM
I visited your website and I found it kinda confusing. First of all, there is too much stuff on the home page. Then updates (blog) are put above the ICO; the ICO is confusing as well, too many items to buy and no precise indications about what to do and what to buy.

If you click on "LEarn more" on the home page, you'll basically get a list of FAQ. When you say "How do I join CloudMining.co.in project?" there is no link to payment page. I think if a person wanna join it takes too much time!

My suggestion would be to make it more simple: just a button (above the fold) saying "Join the ICO". Then a drop down menu to explain what your project is a which advantages an investor could receive joining your ICO.

283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How would you diversify your portfolio? on: August 08, 2017, 07:23:39 PM
Well, Bitcoin would be the obvious choice but since you wanna diversify and BTC is too expensive right now, I'd say Ethereum (both ETH and ETC), DASH and maybe some interesting new coin like Crypviser (CVC).

Why your website is only in Chinese?
I tried to access it but didn't understand anything...you better try to make an English version.

How can I get a test address?
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it even possible to regulate bitcoins? on: June 30, 2017, 06:31:31 PM
No, it's impossible, just like it's impossible to regulate the Internet. Decentralized things cannot be controlled by a central unit.

BUT... there's another thing governments can do. Make these decentralized stuff not so harmful for them, devoiding them of all their rebellious message. If Bitcoin is considered just an investment tool, they have no need to regulate it. Why? because people just exchange their Bitcoins to USD and then withdraw to their bank accounts. So, banks and governments still make money from it and have no reason to ban or be against Bitcoin.
287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Proof that Crime isn't Why they Hate Bitcoin. on: June 30, 2017, 06:26:51 PM
I don't think governments, banks and other powerful entities really hate Bitcoin, because it is just an investment tool...why should they be afraid of it? No reason. Indeed Bitcoin could become just another asset to make them become even richer.

Very funny video which reflect usual situations on this wonderful forum. Those girls are very nice and pretty too, their voices are very annoying though...
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One Address VS Multi Addresses on: June 27, 2017, 03:17:09 PM
If you receive many transactions to the same address, if you then send money from that one address you'll pay higher fees. better to use multiple addresses. Thus if you are a merchant or need to receive money always to the same address, you'll basically fucked up...
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We can't buy something with Bitcoin quickly on: June 27, 2017, 03:14:15 PM
Basically you can't buy anything with Bitcoin nowadays. Hoping things will get better after 1st August or maybe even before that date. It's better to hold and use old money to buy stuff in the meantime...

292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if Governments Shutdown the Internet? on: June 27, 2017, 08:34:03 AM
Internet is basically decentralized and no governement really controls it. Anyway, there's another concern about it, because the Internet is not available yet in many parts of the world and also there could be temporary problems in connection, online access, etc. In my opinion, for a most complete Bitcoin experience, we need to find a way to make Bitcoin payment offline too, without the need to use an Internet connection. Yes, there are physical coins, but there are not enough.
293  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still faster than Paypal. on: June 24, 2017, 10:59:42 AM
I think you messed up things.
If you wanna do a fair comparison, you have to compare transaction from paypal to paypal and from bitcoin to bitcoin. If you send an amount of money to another paypal user such transaction is processed instantly, while if you send Bitcoin to another Bitcoin user it may take 3 days (or it could even never be processed!).
294  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Volatility - major reasons for ?! on: June 21, 2017, 01:51:46 PM
I think the only reason for that is because Bitcoin does not have a real economy yet. It is just used for trading purpose, unline other traditional currencies which are used to buy and sell stuff

I'm really happy this great man and actor is still alive!
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 20, 2017, 05:46:54 PM
Because it's easier to use for average people and faster (requires no confirmation). The negative side it can't be used on online shopping
297  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to get rid of blockchain.info wallet? on: June 20, 2017, 02:18:09 PM

Did you know that the network fee still applies with the sweeping function? It's essentially the same thing and please, look at my post. That is probably the reason why you cannot sweep.

No, I didn't know the fee applies to sweeping function too.
298  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: How to get rid of blockchain.info wallet? on: June 20, 2017, 01:54:10 PM
I tried to spend my blockchain.info coins, sat a high fee but the transactions were not confirmed.
Then, I tried to move my private keys to electrum, but for some reason electrum wallet says: "No input found!". How can I move my blockchain.info funds?

Two questions:
1) did you export the private keys, or did you export an xprv? I have not used blockchain.info in ages, so i have no idear how you'd export your private keys
2) have you tried switching electrum hosts and tried a restart?

the reasons i ask these questions:
1) if you exported an xprv, the derivation path has to be correct... Otherwise you won't be able to derive the correct private keys, so the addresses created by the public keys created by the private keys derived with the wrong path would have no inputs

2) maybe you're connected to a lagging server (to switch: click on the green button on the right bottom corner and pick a different server)

1) I exported my private keys in WIF format.
2) Yes, I tried but still no able to sweep.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 20, 2017, 01:22:31 PM
More than hard, I'd say it's impossible right now...hoping things will change in the future!
