Had a similar issue trying to get Cudaminer working in stratum with Coinotron, but found adding "stratum+tcp://" before the coinotron.com url so that it read "-o stratum+tcp://coinotron.com:3336" worked instead of just "-o coinotron.com:3336". Maybe try that and see what happens?

Plausible, particularly if all the work is being routed through the one account.

Anyone have performance numbers?

Just chucked in an order for one of the USB Drillbits.

obama baffles me every fucking day, sometimes i wonder why the idiots in America voted for him.
The Republican alternative seemed batshit crazier, IMO.

Getting more vendors behind Litecoin would go a long way to helping reach the $25 dollar mark. A Mt.Gox-like exchange site for more currencies than just the US Dollar and the Euro wouldn't go astray, either.

Research and development costs as well as manufacturing setup costs being paid for by the initial batch can allow for cheaper products after they have been recouped by the initial product sales.

I'd say they would really try to get their house in order when Bitstamp overtakes them in volume and start to feel more threatened as a result.

Bitcoin network does exactly 0 FLOPS. Comparing int and flops is pointless.
Measuring computing power in flops is like measuring how a car is good in altitude. Pointless, it is not a plane.

Nothing to stop people pointing their USB miners at PPC and other SHA256 coins. Just saying.

Given I paid $150 to buy one from overseas and now starting to see them at circa $50, I get a feeling that the price can drop a bit further. Want to get a Raspberry Pi and a couple of decent-sized hubs before I go mad buying quite a few.
Failing that, might try and build one of the Klondike K16 boards myself.

Germany is an occupied country unfortunately this means nothing.
Germany has been independent since 1990. Before that West Germany was occupied by the US, the UK and France and East Germany was occupied by the Soviet Union. Unless you mean occupied by the EU or something. More like they have control over the EU, from the looks of things. Like a peaceful Fourth Reich of sorts.

Making it easier for merchants to integrate Bitcoin into their payment options, such as an automated exchange into USD or fiat currencies using the best current exchange rates at the time of transaction, would really light a fire under the price. It's as simple as that, when you really think about it.
That's a pretty good advertisement for Ripple. Would prefer a more KISS approach. Ripple kind of misses the point with its approach. Either way, making it easier to be used for other forms of online payment in a way that's more akin to Paypal is really what's needed.

Is it possible at some stage to offer payouts in Litecoin rather than Bitcoin? Don't mind at the moment using Bitcoins, but I tend to use Litecoins more atm, and just thought I'd ask out of curiosity.

Seems to me that Saudi Arabia would be more likely to initiate an attack on Iran, given the Shiite vs Sunni sectarian battles that have been going on for a long time. If anything, that would be the most likely start of a regional conflict and Israel would just join in for shits and giggles.

Should call it TechnoCoin, as it's probably the only profitable thing coming out of Detroit at this stage.
