281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What should I invest? on: October 16, 2019, 05:25:22 AM
I am looking for projects to invest, any good idea for me?
For the time being, I think it is better for you to invest in BTC and several other top coins compared to investing in ICO projects. Although you could say investing in an ICO project will get some bonuses but it has a greater risk and not all ICO projects can run according to what is planned and successful.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Huge rewards, less value or Less reward, big value on: October 15, 2019, 08:02:17 PM
There have been a lot of posts questioning the rewards of campaigns in recent time, complaints about dev and team giving fewer rewards for campaigns. Many have eyes but cannot see, what is the use of huge rewards with no value in the future why you can be giving fewer rewards that will grow into something big if you can hodl, I will rather participate in a campaign with less reward and huge prospect than wasting my time overloading my portfolio with useless coins that will take me nowhere. If you really want to benefit from crypto, think less of what any new project can bring you new, think more of what you stand to gain in the future, be part of a good project. Don't be deceived by the promise of huge rewards that will deprive you of the future benefits which quality project can give to you. If you invest your time in good project today, even if the rewards look small, if you can hodl then future is certain. Be ready to sacrifice your today for your tomorrow.
Yes it is true, sometimes how large the number of tokens we get will be in vain if the tokens are worthless and there is no volume, so sometimes we think what is the point of getting tokens in large numbers but have no value and we will conclude that it is better to have a little but has value. So, I think it all depends on how the team behind it can continue to develop the project and how we observe each new project that has the potential to continue to grow in the future.
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors? on: October 15, 2019, 06:15:21 PM
In some cases where a token price crashes soon after listing on the Exchange, the blames has over time been attributed to the bounty hunters and sometimes to early investors that received certain bonuses.

Do you think 40% bonus for early investors is too much and capable of crashing token price?
For me personally 40% for early investors is not much. I think it is a natural thing to give to early investors who want to invest in it. And to hit the price of the token I think it could have happened because there was no volume and early investors could be said to be more profitable when compared to the bounty hunters.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: be careful with projects that offer you great prizes, that is not a guarantee of on: October 15, 2019, 02:27:45 PM
yes the fact is like that, in this crypto industry there is no full guarantee for you. Even in traditional investment, nothing guarantees you profit. There will be no certainty in future income, and if a project claims their tokens will become more and more expensive over time, it is very likely that they are lying. Of course, that does not mean that they are wrong, however, ensuring that everyone in the inevitable benefit is not responsible, to say the least. If you see a project that claims that your profits will grow tenfold in just six months, it's far more likely to be a good old Ponzi scheme than it really is, as seen in BitConnect.
So, no matter how this promise actually looks, if you see that the project offers you sky-high profits for literally no effort, it probably means that they want to make that profit out of you.
I agree with what you say that there is no guarantee of your benefits in cryptocurrency. That's how investing in cryptocurrency, anything can happen and every project will always provide good news about their projects to attract investors to invest in it and sometimes with a great offer makes us easily attracted. But, I just remind you not to believe too easily and make your own observations about the project before making a decision to invest in it.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Would you participate in new project if it is not listed in ICO rating websites? on: October 15, 2019, 09:07:11 AM
Nowadays there are many projects, it is not easy to judge on new project, good or not, some people think the ico rating websites may help to take your decision, others think this ICO rating websites provide fake rating due to new project can pay fees to this ICO websites and get high rating.
SO, If you find good project, is it important to you this new good project should be listed in ICO rating websites?

Appreciate your participation

I think everyone has their own way of choosing a project before participating in it, some people make the ICO rating a good or bad consideration for the ICO project, but it is true that you say sometimes there is a fake ICO rating. For me personally, this can sometimes be taken into consideration but I also make observations on the project that was brought and the team behind it to make decisions later.
286  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes developers keeps making on: October 15, 2019, 07:24:23 AM
The biggest mistakes developers make that leads to bad ending for many projects are

1. Huge Discounts
Many new projects are still making this mistake over and over again, huge discounts like 50% is insane and it always bother me how the hell the early buyers won't end up dumping since they have already see big profits.

2. Lack Of Solid Products and Ideas
Lack of working products and real use cases is why many investors are not taking new projects very seriously, no one would want to hold such tokens or coins for long, developers need to start working on how their project's token or coin will be very demanding throughout the globe

3. Bad Exchanges
Imagine new projects that make over millions of dollars in ico or ieo and end up listing on bad exchanges with no enough volume, what do they expect to happen?

It is true that you said, a large discount given to early buyers will make the project easily attract early buyers, but the question is whether it can make the project reach its softcap and hardcap. Then the product that is delivered is usually not attractive or will not be useful in the future so investors think that this project will be difficult to develop because it is not so useful in the future.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am done with KYC on: October 14, 2019, 10:20:59 PM
There is one thing I have realized from my experience with KYC for bounties. Almost all the projects I have provided my personal information to them failed to even get listed on exchanges and the project dies off. Surprisingly, those that didn't require KYC paid me and the project is truly developing. My point is, am beginning to think those project requesting hunters to go through KYC are just in for their information to trade and do not have any intentions to develop their crypto project so let's be vigilant about whom we carelessly give our details to, for some peanuts...May God bless our hustle
Not all projects that require KYC fail and do not pay or distribute their tokens. It is true, although sometimes we feel afraid to give out our personal information because later it could be misused without our knowledge, but to get rewards from what we have done, like it or not, we must provide our personal information and hope that the project can developing and listed on the exchange.
288  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Altcoins? on: October 14, 2019, 06:45:59 PM
Hi! Everyone

What do you think is best methods to increase your Altcoin.

Invest in ICO?
Trading?
Hold?
Others?

For now maybe all I will do is trade a small amount and hold how many coins I think have the opportunity to make a profit if we hold it for quite a long time. But, to invest I think I will not do it for now because of the many scam projects that make me hesitate to invest in ICO.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why i prefer mining and investing in ICO/IEO on: October 14, 2019, 03:18:19 PM
Reasons why i prefer mining coins than investing a dime on IEO/ICO projects
1. My profits is assured.
I dont have to wait for a project to do x3 or whatsoever to get profits on my invested cash, with better mining rigs and good calculator you will know when your ROI will come.

2. No worries of getting scammed
I dont have to investigate an exchange before investing or wasting time doing research on projects before investing, all i do is mine ETH and sell for fiat or decides to hold for a little while.

It is true that you say that if we do mining we don't need to worry about getting a scam. But I think not everyone can do it because there are several factors that must be owned and some people will also prefer to invest. So I think it all depends on the factors and also the desire of everyone to do mining or investing.
290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: October 14, 2019, 01:10:06 PM
Ok guys so I have 500 CAD left to invest in altcoins, I decided to invest 3000 CAD in bitcoin and leave it like that. So for that 500 CAD (377 USD), please tell me if this makes sense. (I want to own a broad portfolio of multiple coins that have good odds for the future). All amounts are in USD for a total of $370. I'm open to suggestions.

50    Ethereum
50   Ripple
50   Binance Coin
30   Litecoin
20   Enjin
10   Iota
30   Cardano
20   Stellar Lumens
10   VeChain Thor
10   Pundi X
10   Basic Attention Token
10   Ontology
10   Zilliqua
30   Monero
?   Eos
10   Tron
?   Zcash
10   Icon
?   Chainlink
any other ?
10   Dash

For me personally, I would choose to invest it in Dash or Binance coins. But all the decisions come back to you, observe and analyze every suggestion from others before making a decision and to invest 3000 CAD into bitcoin, I think that is a good thing and maybe you can invest the rest in Dash or Binance coins.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: 2017 vs 2019 on: October 14, 2019, 10:39:25 AM
Very interesting comparison that analyzes holding ETH in 2017 vs holding it today... https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/hodling-ethereum-2017-vs-2019/

Thoughts? I'm super happy to have swaped all of my ETH for BTC to be honest
If we compare ETH in 2017 and 2019 it is certainly very different, in 2017 is a happy and profitable year for many people who are in cryptocurrency and in 2019 at this time I feel that for the moment it is better to hold it for a long period of time and continue to observe market movements to determine when we will sell the coins.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: !!! SO MANY PROJECTS !!! What 's going on ? on: October 14, 2019, 08:39:10 AM
New projects make good news of good things to happen
Are they all right ?
Or are they all just chanting slogans ?

REALLY!!!  What 's going on ?
If you know a good project ,NAME IT !!!
New projects will always be there and bring good news, for what? of course to dance investors to want to invest into it. If we see, lately many people get scam projects, the new project will try to attract investors to run their projects. But, for investors it is necessary to be more careful and not in a hurry in making decisions, because sometimes the good news that feels conveyed is just to attract your attention.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why would you sell an altcoin right at the very bottom on: October 13, 2019, 07:20:33 PM
It makes no logical sense to sell an altcoin right at the very bottom of a market cycle.  Look I know its very painful to see that altcoin you love some much cause you so much grief, and not to mention checking your altcoin account balance looks like a scene from a horror movie.  But I am here to tell you, to hold strong, keep the faith and ride this altcoin storm as we are about to hit a very sweet spot in the market cycle where altcoins will explode in value.  Almost every altcoin is extremely oversold when comparing it to previous altcoin ATH (all time highs) and not to mention when comparing it to the bitcoin rally of late.

ATTENTION: We are about to enter altcoin season right at the very bottom, there will be some explosive move coming....Please hold firm.

Much love to all altcoin holders (especially those that hold HST decision token)

Stay safe, and see you all at the very top of the next altcoin season.

Peace out Cheesy
Selling altcoin when the market is at the very bottom is not the right decision. But for myself it depends on the situation that is happening to me, if at that time I really need extra money for something or in an emergency, of course I will choose to sell it even though all I get is a loss, for me it not a problem because it has become a decision that I choose.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold my house for buying altcoins need your help on: October 13, 2019, 04:42:39 PM
this is my current investments. do u have any suggestion

20k$ = BNB
20k$ = ADA
20k$ = EOS
20k$ = XEM
20k$ = NEO
10k$ = XRP

Maybe I just suggest you to invest some of your money into BTC because we know BTC is very good to invest, BNB, XRP, ADA and DASH I think those coins are good for you. But, it all depends on you, do according to what you observe and analysis, if you get advice from others, maybe you can choose a suggestion that you think is good and observe it yourself. All back to your own, make decisions according to what you want.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover on: October 13, 2019, 03:20:04 PM
You can't judge projects by how they look, what matters is what they are here to fix in crypto space,i introduced a good privacy altcoin to my friends weeks ago and they neglect it because of its look, the name of the project is sero

How can someone judge a project because of its white&black inky look?the fact is sero is just more than its logo looks and its already trading at a very good price 0.33$ i think, while its ICO price was 0.01cent.

My advice to people like my friends is to always put aside how a project looks, either scam looking or not please take your time to investigate before you decide if its good or not. Some projects are more than how they look, remember that not all shinny things are good either, learn to do research on projects not how they look.
It is true that you say that we cannot judge just by its appearance. But I think what is more important is how we observe and analyze the project to determine how the project is, whether potential or not and will be able to provide us with an advantage, we need to pay attention to how the team behind it in updating and developing their projects.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Power belongs to the investors, they are not to be toyed with on: October 13, 2019, 12:09:35 PM
Investors needs to have interest in other for a project to survive, once investors lose interest its the end, this is why i think developers need to be serious from now onward, there will come a time that new projects won't see investors investing on their projects and its because we have had enough of crappy projects, if there is no more good ideas developers need to stop building projects
In my opinion, the decline in investor interest to invest in projects is influenced by the large number of projects that are only scams that ultimately make investors hesitant in investing and indeed there is no one to blame and not all ICO projects are scams. So in my opinion, investors should be careful in making decisions and see how active the team is behind the project and don't rush in making decisions.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: October 13, 2019, 10:10:56 AM
Looking at the market dominance, bitcoin covers almost 70.5% of the market trade as of time of writing. there is the need for altcoin recovery or it might spell doom for investors. i.e, people invest today on a new project and sell off tomorrow.
According to a wall street executive, Max keiser, he strongly believed that altcoins has reached there dead end and advised that everyone should focus on bitcoin. considering the fact that bitcoin is limited. there is the need for altcoins as the name implies, Alternative coins.

What is your say on this.
In my opinion the altcoin season can still happen again. It's true that it's better to invest and focus on BTC, but BTC is limited. So I think when the price of BTC will start to rise and continue to increase, maybe the price of altcoin will start to follow it and there could be a bullrun. But, of course there must be a number of factors that support the bullrun and for now I am more focused on observing market movements and trading in small quantities.
298  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bad developers have tarnished ICO! on: October 13, 2019, 07:12:33 AM
that in the past ICO projects performed very well if they used ERC20 tokens or projects built on established platforms. because it has the potential to grow well and reduce risk when compared to creating new technology. but now on the contrary I don't see ICO functioning properly even though it's built on an existing platform like ERC20.
I will not blame the platform because the platform has been built in such a way, but I will blame the developer, Why? because most developers have misused this for crypto schemes to get rich and most project failures are based on the background of developers who do not have extensive knowledge and deliberately tarnish the ICO project's bad image.
Therefore, for now it is very difficult to find potential projects or arguably good projects to invest in or participate in because some developers only want personal benefits, when they have benefited they will just leave it. So many of us feel that what we are doing is futile and unlike a few years ago when ICO was still a very good place to make a profit.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What makes you still join the bounty campaigns? on: October 13, 2019, 04:31:10 AM
An open question to all bounty hunters. What makes you still join the bounty campaigns?

I was the regular bounty hunter in 2017 and early half of the 2018 but once 80% of my joined bounties started to turn scam without paying a penny, I dropped the idea. By looking the current situation, I can conclude that the situation has now worsen and the success rate of bounties is now dropped to further low. So my question is why you still join bounties? Are you getting paid? If yes, then which one gave you best rewards this year? Who is the best manager/s currently in bounty domain?
If we look at the last few years, there are indeed many projects that are just scams and don't pay bounty hunters. Although this often happens, I personally still participate in the bounty campaign, because in my opinion from doing a bounty campaign I can still benefit even though sometimes only a small profit but at least there is still an opportunity to be able to benefit because for me if there is an opportunity to benefit from some things, then I will do it.
300  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top coins to have in my portfolio? on: October 12, 2019, 08:03:09 PM
Hey guys, other than these 10 coins https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/10-coins-to-have-in-your-portfolio/ which other tokens should I consider having in my portfolio?

Input is appreciated!
For now I will prefer Dash, Binance coin and BTC. But it all depends on you, I think everyone will have different suggestions, so it is better for you to observe the movement of the graph before making a decision, choose according to the observations you make and do not let you make a decision that will make you regret.
