Where's bigman? Maybe he knows to make a multipool? We could all donate and pool a bounty for him?  Cheesy

He just made a Pre-ANN for a new coin.  It has the exact same specs as this coin.

Sorry to say but PC is in community hands now, dev is just a copy-paste guy who dumps on exchanges and makes new coin.

Sell and move on or work together and make this coin worth something.

Hope that's not the case with this dev, but either way there's people here willing to push the train anyway. Still, if the dev wants to make new coins, I'm sure they're smart enough to keep up on the one they already have... or it's going to be pretty clear, pretty fast that nobody's going to take their new coins seriously.

Hi guys,
so which is the final total amount of the coins? 10 m or 100 m? In Op there is 100M... is it right?

The final amount of POW coins is gonna be a little less than 100m because of the POS blocks woven in. Currently there are 82120089.56237756 coins. You can check anytime you want by going into the wallet > Help > Debug Window > Enter 'getinfo'

Current total of coins is listed by 'moneysupply'

PC dve is is more than one coins dve  Shocked

It looks like the dev has a couple of other coins coming out in the near future, true enough. But they're doing so openly, so that's to their credit. It's not like they're trying to make a bit secret of it.

Still, Pinkcoin needs some attention right now. If the dev lets Pinkcoin fall flat on its face, nobody's going to care about any other coins they try and come out with, and I think they're smart enough to know that. Hoping to hear something from them soon-ish.

I see you also launched Pinkcoin..

Don't you want to be an active dev on a Single coin? ... One dev, multiple coins... sounds like shit to me.
this is our second coin, and i dont think just change bitcointalk account is the best way to launch a new coin.
yesterday we update pinkcoin wallet and change new logo, our team dev also working in it,
before launch pinkcoin we test it for 2week,
we also know that some coin pos dont work,
before coins launch we will test and fix code a lot,

Well, nothing against working on multiple coins as long as you're up to the task of keeping up on all of them. Just pointing it out though, Pinkcoin could use a little attention:)

Alright, so lets pool up some coins for a Multipool bounty. I'll chip in 100k to get the offer ball rolling. Anyone really trustworthy care to hold a bounty wallet? FWIW, anyone that can make a multipool for this stands to make a serious profit, as I plan to multi-mine the hell out of this once one is up, and I doubt I'm alone. And if you want to buy up all the cheap coins before you do it, by all means, go right ahead!

Can't find where you vote over there.

Maybe someone can get a multipool on PinkCoin to put some distributed buy pressure on the market. We could really use a blockchain explorer as well. And, considering the current price of the coins, if we're going to take this coin seriously, maybe do something serious with it - like get someone trustworthy to hold a wallet with 12m of community donated coins inside, and commit to donating 1m coins every month from it to charities that we vote on.

I don't know. Anything to move PinkCoin away from being just another color-copy pump&dump coin.

As it happens, there aren't even 380m coins.

A quick getinfo shows us:

 "moneysupply" : 363953045.88869053,

... Roughly 364m.

at this price  it's very cheap ..the max volume is 500 mil or more?

Current coins are 380 million. POS interest is 1%/year. At that rate, 500m coins in 28 years.

That's so cute after mining 150 block...

Yes I estimated 99k premined - but it was 130k coins - these coins will be used for bounties, and coin development .. 130k out of 17Million....

FWIW, it was at block 50 when I jumped in, though I only managed to snag one block:S

Long term growth? Not sure what you mean by that. But in total there will be 500 million coins. Currently there are 380 million coins. Those 120 million will be distributed through PoS (correct me if I'm wrong)
pos interest 1%/year
maxcoin is 2 billion you can see the code
total pow coins is 380 million,

Ah okay. Was totally wrong. I am sorry, thank for the explanation!

Pretty much all POW/POS coins site the total coins at the number of POW coins. It's true, there's a hardcap of 2b coins in the code, I know - I checked the code on day 1. But the only way to mint coins anymore is through POS... which adds 1% per year. At that rate, in 5 years time, we will still not have hit 400m coins, let alone the initially quoted 500m, which, by the way, wont be hit for about 28 years or so.

So let's not troll out that 2b number in the code. It's never going to get there in your lifetime, or your children's children's lifetime for that matter.
294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LGC] Logicoin | DGW | X11 | No Premine | Win 2100 LGC on: May 08, 2014, 05:41:16 PM

there's already a bunch of other X11 coins out... and in 5mo, there will literally be hundreds more.

The cloner of this clone is the one who will put out 20 more out of those hundreds. Same guy who launched Hashcoin, Dreamcoin and many others not yet detected.

Wow sounds like I'm a busy guy? Considering there's 0 premine here and the Logicoin team has actively spent money on promotion, websites and servers it doesn't make a whole heap of sense that we would launch other coins.

We will either be implementing DGW3 or Digishield over the next week aswell as QR support which will mean a hardfork.

What I will say is that our dev is actively supporting other coins via the Cryptocoin Revival Foundation. He has helped revive Frycoin, Quarkbar and helped out with DuckDuckCoin. Apart from that we have absolutely nothing to do with any other coin. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576714.0

FWIW I don't think anyone here actually buys that guy's baloney. The Dreamcoin dev did state openly that he's the Hashcoin dev, and it's true that a new X11 clone comes out daily, but the same is true for most decent algos - I've notice a scrypt-jane bandwagon starting lately actually. Some coins are just tinkering with the scrypt nfactor and calling it a new scrypt derivative. Plus, virtually every altcoin has a pedigree of previous coins it was based on. Bitcoin->Sifcoin->Quarkcoin->Darkcoin->Logicoin

New algos are important features, and it's entirely possible to mass produce an X11 ASIC - but that's part of the reason why I liked Logicoin's halving schedule; if X11 does take off to the point that ASICs are being mass produced for it, LGC distribution will have already slowed to a trickle. The only worry I have at that point is a %51 attack.

You guys are doing a really great job, and you've got a community behind you. We want Logicoin to be successful in the long term, and it's got a great start going. Thanks for all your hard work. We all know there was a legitimate no-premine, and that you've stuck with us, and even gone above and beyond by showing your support for other good altcoins that have lost their devs. That in itself has set Logicoin apart from the others, the Logicoin team has shown that they care and contribute to the altcoin community as a whole. That is something special.

Anyway, ramble over.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][LGC] Logicoin | DGW | X11 | No Premine | Win 2100 LGC on: May 07, 2014, 10:09:23 PM
I do think its probably a good idea to implement Darksend, but what we really need is something ground-floor new, rather than stealing from others. Even bitcoin's 'little brother' did something different by going Scrypt. The great launch, helps, plus the halving schedule is one of those not too fast/not too slow things, plus the very l limited supply of coins. I think setting up merged mining with Darkcoin is probably the most secure and desirable option at the moment, but POS implementations could improve dramatically between now and then.

I mean, imagine if we could figure out some reasonable way to keep the blockchain secure and lighten it up so it wasn't such a ball and chain? Implement some sort of block compression or compound old blocks into some sort of superblock chain that must also be verified by the network. I don't know. I'm just throwing out a half baked idea to illustrate my point.

Quick question. I see the OP was updated to show 380m coins instead of 500m. But adding up the maths, 25k coins per block, 20k blocks, it's 500m coins. So how can it be 380m?
pos generated from 10000block,its makes 5000blocks,
so the total pow block is 15000,
15000*25K=380M

Ah, I got it. So basically 5k of the 20k blocks didn't generate anything but POS interest. Cool beans.

any plans ... ?

Since it looks like all the best/most popular coins hacked together - I'd say take over the world. Lol.
