281  Economy / Services / Re: Decrypt my encryption and receive 1 merit Newbie, Jr. Member, Member all welcome on: March 24, 2018, 10:19:29 AM
Did you try to download a picture and extract a text document? In the picture there is no text file
Yes I tried it before I embedded the picture here and extracted the file and went all smoothly, but now it seems corrupted I'll work on it. Thanks for the head up. This is now the orginal picture with txt file embedded in it https://ibb.co/gHPsN7
282  Economy / Services / Re: Decrypt my encryption and receive 1 merit Newbie, Jr. Member, Member all welcome on: March 24, 2018, 12:01:17 AM
Dude, you watched way too many Lord of the Rings movies....  Cheesy
Yeah I clearly remember the goblin said the similar phrase Cheesy

You uploaded a png file.. Are you sure you've uploaded the correct image?
Yes https://imgur.com/mWm3U9V just try to decrypt the image and receive 1 precious merit to me or more.
You download only the preview so it is undecryptable.

It is actually called steganography.

Yes, I am a grammar nazi.
That is the right grammar of course to err is human.

Update hint: Steganography in command shell or cmd in windows.
283  Economy / Services / Re: Help thyself to rank up Newbie to Jr.member Only. on: March 23, 2018, 04:12:14 AM
Hello.. I'm interested with this, But I'm still confused, can I have example for the answer?
you need code like what?

There is no code for that there is no specific rules how you can decrypt this picture.

This picture is in jpg there is a text file included in this picture oneself need to extract that file and see what is written in it and post the answer according to the submission of entry.
Code:
this is your url profile id -> u=938170
this is your answer -> answer will be hereXOXO

I'm not good enough at explaining things I hope I somehow make it clear.

For showing enthusiasm I'll give the first clue this is stegnography made in windows operating system.
284  Other / Meta / Re: A number of newbie accounts being made with good-knowledge posts? on: March 23, 2018, 01:49:18 AM
I've only noticed one account and upon checking his/her posting history it turns out good to be true.
I think those users have been lurking in the community in a long time or rather have a general source of information regarding bitcoin.

I guess those members O.P talking about have been strike with great length of epiphanies and started creating account to show us how it is done.  Shocked

as DarkStar_ said mission f***g accomplished.
285  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: 382 BITCOIN ITS ENOUGH TO OPEN MY OWN BANK? on: March 23, 2018, 01:33:59 AM
I always wanted to open my own crypto bank , finaly i m ready to do it , if you have 382 bitcoin and your only dream its to open your own bank what will be your ideas? Is it possible to build  a decentralized bank?

It takes more than a month to established a business in bitcoin system banking.
There's a lot of things you have to prepare first.
here is the list of the things I think you need to look in consideration.
  • Place
Is the place a capital city? You need to make a lot of audience to make your bank well known.

  • Lawyer
legal consent and other jurisdictional issue regarding Bitcoin

  • Programmer
A developer need to put heart in your system.

You can start with the programmer first as the foundation of the system so there will be no issue before you execute your banking system to masses.

P.S You can start a centralized bank and accept payments in decentralize currency Wink
286  Other / Meta / Re: The Rules of Spam, Bitcointalk.org Edition on: March 22, 2018, 11:26:14 PM
Your general knowledge is always needed in this community.

I'm still processing all have you said in this thread, but more interested in this PGP topic.

I hope in all sense of it that henceforth it will bring a good sense of judging spammers.

P.S I will submit my assignment professor nullius however I see fit. Cheesy

288  Economy / Services / Decrypt my encryption and receive 1 merit Newbie, Jr. Member, Member all welcome on: March 22, 2018, 09:42:27 PM
I have a 1 sendable merit and don't have a time searching for a good poster instead I come up with a good idea.  Smiley
The first person who decode this jpg image will going to know what is written in the readme.txt file, the first individual who comment what is written in the readme.txt will receive my 1 precious merit?

[alt=cain slaying abel]: https://ibb.co/gHPsN7

Rules
  • Unedited comment will be the only qualified entry, edited comment with the right answer will be disqualified in all my merit giveaways
  • The exact hidden text is needed to qualify for the giveaways in other words this is case sensitive
  • How to submit your entry?
Code:
Profile UID: u=938170
Answer: My PrecIoUs rIng

Notes
  • In case I received more merit throughout the day as long as this giveaways is open the half of it will be transferred to the person who got the right answer (ie: 10 merit was given to me)
and the remaining will be kept to continue this service of mine. You can run the code in phython to get the idea but human can read it actually.
Code:
#calculation of merit that someone will be receiving.
print ("I will be receiving the below merit in fix 3.50 is 3")

my_smerit = 1
smerited = 10
my_deduction = smerited / 2
deduction = my_deduction / 2

new_smerit = my_smerit + deduction
print (new_smerit)

  • In case the encryption is unsolved in the last 24 hours a hint will be given at that interval time.

Good luck every Newbie and Jr. Member

289  Other / Meta / Re: Forum feature request: set Alt-text by default for all embedded images on: March 21, 2018, 10:23:52 PM
This feature could be implemented in the new forum not in this one as it only has a BBCODE standard coding not an HTML 5.

But if I'm missing some point here let me know I think it is programmable the alt attribute in the bbcode?
290  Other / Meta / Re: Is this a drawback? ChipMixer!! on: March 21, 2018, 10:11:34 PM
There must be something wrong in this thread or in O.P.

Can we get it straight are you implying that those merit received by the pharmacist and tryninja is only in meta section? or are they reciprocating the sendable merit Huh

AFAIK you can also receive a merit in Technical Discussion and Serious/Ivory Discussion  Roll Eyes
291  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will gold and silver coins return as currency? on: March 21, 2018, 09:12:16 PM
The circulation of gold and silver coin currency in the Philippines have been decreased.

A certain group of ppls in the Philippines are targeting a certain kind of currency that have an embedded ounce of gold or silver they are making it as a decoration or they are melting all the coins collected through the course of the month and make a new necklace/bracelet/ring/ made of gold/silver/copper.

And way back 200+ when the first 10 peso coin allegedly spread that those coins have an ounce of gold in the inner part of it a Chinese/Korean national had been caught smuggling a large volume of 2000 and 2001 peso coin. I can't give a link as I was only 12 years old when that happened I only saw it on the news relative information is not an assurance.
Years have passed they discovered that the news is only a hoaxed.

I think the answer to this thread is no in the Philippines I know but in other country not sure of course.

292  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How many people use Bitcoin for more than a funds transfer system? on: March 21, 2018, 08:48:48 PM
I have an idea to reward my loyal reader in my blog when I publish my first blog.

The concept is very simple I make a cryptography jpeg and they have to decrypt the image that holding a certain amount of prize in bitcoin of course.
293  Other / Serious discussion / Re: News: Bitcoin’s blockchain contains links to child pornography on: March 21, 2018, 08:41:12 PM
An individual can store everything in blockchain cause it is decentralized.

It could be a fake news a paradox to mislead bitcoin lover to stay away from their investment, and I'll have to admit it is a good move.
an enthusiast will do everything to get hold a certain amount of bitcoin however with the current price it is highly unlikely to happen in order for the said enthusiast to hold a large volume of BTC oneself need to advertise such disgusting true feature of blockchain or similarly a more unpleasant concepts of bitcoin as a whole.

P.S Unless someone debunk my statement I must admit that it is a genuine 'impornation'
294  Other / Serious discussion / Re: How to mine less than 12,5 Btc?? on: March 21, 2018, 06:59:10 PM
Ok I see, thanks or the answer. So basically instead of mine it alone they share the pow "puzzle" and after solving it first , the 12,5 btc are divided to everyone who participated considering that someone who calculated more hashes per second will receive more than someone who had a less hashrate, right?

AFAIK that statement of yours is correct every pool share their own profit the first pool to find the block will eventually mined the block and divided all the the block rewards along with their participants in the pool. Nevertheless you also need to study the ff:

If the number of unconfirmed transaction grows higher than expected mining pool would only accept a future transaction with a reasonable amount transaction fee. in other words oneself need to put a big amount of transaction fee every time s/he needs to send a transaction to make it confirmable.

The power of your mining equipment have the equivalent power consumption.

The rewards of every block have a halving event estimatedly every four years.
295  Economy / Services / Re: 📯⭐📯CRYPTOON PUZZLES - COINFESTUK COMPETITION 📯⭐📯 on: March 21, 2018, 05:42:19 PM
Not only Untold, you also have interest for this! Grin
This event that happen to you is very unfortunate and unpleasant, i'm sorry to hear this.

We will make other contests as well and i will be more than happy to see your entry there, when the time comes.
I hope that you will fix this damage on your PC and start working again in no time. Thank you for your words, much appreciated.

P.S. If you have some stock imagery of yours "saved" somewhere, you can still make an entry... Wink

Looking forward for that. Smiley

P.S. Honestly I'm not a graphic designer by nature, my aptitude is making signature design in pixel/BBCODE.
But this competition pique my interest also sadly to say that is the reason I don't have any original stock images.
My first creation of graphic design was in bitcore banner contest and it wasn't that good enough xD
296  Other / Meta / Re: Do anyone receive smerits for this month??GENESIS OF MERITS on: March 20, 2018, 11:09:25 PM
Now I understand more than I do, Thank you thank you this thread save my life Smiley

And I can honestly say now that if there's a genesis of merit there can also be a revelation of merit.

This thread is a good insight thank you everyone, I can redundantly thanks everyone for putting so much effort in this one but guess you might get sick of it.
297  Other / Meta / Re: I'm reluctant to award merit in threads started by me. on: March 20, 2018, 10:39:53 PM
There's a few good answer in your thread in specualtion section.

You can award it if they really deserve them. You are even more probably stupid if you award a not meritorous ideas/opinions with accidentally adding 1 to 0 in merit points and send it anyway.

ninja edit: while listening to politacal comments.
298  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk slow or just me? on: March 20, 2018, 09:28:34 PM
Sometimes If edit my browser configuration in the setting it will be slow to response in this forum.
But most of the time this forum is having a DDOS every now and then that can lead to a slower response from IP to IP.
299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Starting a Gambling Game on: March 20, 2018, 08:06:19 PM
I've never did those kind of recreational game of gambling.
as I don't have true friends to play it with.

I've seen enough of it in a Movie or in an Anime it is like a cliche scenario.
But in all of it the one that triggered my interest is the game in table tennis where every serve & strike need to have a representative of noun or an agreement in their respective rules.

It is very nice tho.
300  Economy / Services / Re: 📯⭐📯CRYPTOON PUZZLES - COINFESTUK COMPETITION 📯⭐📯 on: March 20, 2018, 05:47:23 PM
I can clearly see that only Untold is interested in this competition.

Unfortunately I can't submit my entry my whole workstation become a mess and crash the internal hardrive along with all the Operating System I am working on a daily basis.

Nevertheless Good luck to the all participants that will be a great day to see your own design on a big frame.
