281  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some gamblers have been arrestes in Bangladesh for money laundering through btc on: July 29, 2020, 11:37:14 PM
Is there a source ? if its true then it will have a significant value to Institutional Investors and governments knowing that you can retrieve your money in Bitcoin. Im just surprised that this scammers didn't know that Bitcoin is not fully anonymous and it's traceable through the blockchain that is open to the public.
282  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: July 29, 2020, 01:19:43 PM
This match could been exciting if they were younger and still at their prime. My expectations from the match if Mike Tyson struggles in the fight then he will use underhanded techniques such as biting. I'd rather see Manny vs Golovkin it will become hype in an instant.
283  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should there be any age limit of Gambling? on: July 29, 2020, 01:14:42 PM
Well it does, as we know it's high risk and high reward in gambling. You lose more than you win, so kids in my opinion should stay away from it until they know how to manage their money financially. Gambling is not wrong but with excessive betting, it could destroy someone's life.
284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Technology. on: July 29, 2020, 12:04:53 AM
It would result in the banking institutions not being able to exploit the poor to make the rich, richer through endless quantitative easing that only benefits those people who have millions of money invested in government owned stocks. And things like fractional reserve banking wouldn't be use as people could easily borrow money through smart contracts or put money they themselves control through their own crypto wallet.
285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal to Offer Crypto Trading on: July 28, 2020, 11:58:48 PM

I just read it from cointele also which Paypal was hiring blockchain engineer which I guess was enough reason for this rumor to spread. They pointed to this job listing https://jobsearch.paypal-corp.com/en-US/job/technical-lead-crypto-engineer/J3W31J65K3R80YP49FL

Developing crypto trading must have been the case for them to employ someone with blockchain skills.  The reason for the denial, its their choice.

I hope it's not merely rumors it would be a great convenience if they'd accept Bitcoin as one of the options in paypal services.
Two sources indicates we might see Cryptocurrencies be accepted in a popular platform this would be a bullish sign that some businesses loss confidence in the monetary system.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The difference between a true Crypto gambling site and a Fiat/Crypto site.. on: July 28, 2020, 01:10:28 PM
The answer to that is of course business owners still see Cryptocurrencies as high risk for an asset as it has very unstable market value. They might develop this features to quickly convert Crypto to Fiat in case a major drop of crypto price happens.
They haven't completely adopted and still needs fiat to safeguard their profits in crypto gamblings.
287  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos are open - end of the Pandemic era. on: July 28, 2020, 01:04:46 PM
I’m UK based but I’m glad, we need to start getting back to normal soon. This pandemic has claimed lives but really it’s a tiny, tiny % of the numbers that get infected. We can’t hide away at home forever, economies are collapsing, unemployment numbers are increasing. We need to get back to some kind of normality.

It's a mistake opening prematurely without a vaccine been develop it's really bad for businesses to open right now especially the current number of infected in the US is more than 4 million. Yes it might be the solution for being jobless and financial crisis but in exchange they will endanger so many lives.
288  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM's in europe - ID limits on: July 28, 2020, 12:11:34 AM
No need to fly anywhere or leave the house when you can just register through an P2P exchange without identification, KYC and ID's.
The best bet to buy Bitcoins or under the counter is Localcryptos or local.Bitcoin.com there's a range of options from paypal to bank transfer and gift cards and your details will only be disclosed to the seller. Sending anonymously is creating an paypal account that's not name to you.
289  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are back with another trick. Be alert!!! on: July 27, 2020, 11:59:57 PM
If its to good to be true then it's not true, people should learn how to identify scams like this then they wouldn't fall for these obviously cheap schemes that gives insane rewards. Unfortunately even if this is an obvious fake video some people manages to get scam anyways because they're not thinking or throughly examining the video through review and sources.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gervonta Davis vs Leo Santa Cruz on: July 27, 2020, 02:01:41 PM
That's a shame, i thought ryan garcia and gervonta davis most awaited fight could happened. Didn't expect this fight to happen and this will be probably an easy win for davis as Leo yes he's good but doesn't have the punching power or skills to beat tank.
What's the point speculating when you know what will happen. This spoils the fun and entertainment and betting in sports bookies with low reward if i win.
291  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Remembering the earily days of mining... on: July 26, 2020, 11:54:18 PM
Mining really is profitable back then because you only need a good graphics card and atleast i7 processor to mine even with GTX 1080 ti you mine tons of crypto's in a single PC.
But now you need specific hardware's installed in your pc and antminer to atleast earn small amount of BTC.
292  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 26, 2020, 11:50:07 PM
There are ways to bypass this types of security even though Bitcoin is pseudonymous by using fake informations and mixers. For instance you could withdraw all the money through converting it to a fiat currency then passing it into a dummy account in the bank so there are no traces.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sportsbet.io, do you allow the use of VPNs? on: July 24, 2020, 02:45:01 PM
^ I always suggest reading always the ToS of the site before using VPN. Because there are pros and cons upon suing it that you should know before using.
But for me, this is not advisable, remember that the gambling site needs to verify your location and the IP address you use. Once they know that you are trying to deceive them, probably you will have a problem in the future. Nevertheless, if you want to use, just a reminder that you really need to consider if the risk is worth the reward. Read this first before you decide to use VPN service even not only on sportsbet.io, https://www.bestuscasinos.org/blog/pros-and-cons-of-vpn-gambling/.

VPN's are allowed with gambling casino's because some countries forbids online gambling and upon reading FAQ of most casino they do not mention the restriction's of VPN user. And im also curious, why is it needed for a gambling site to know your location ? i dont see any logic in there ?
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your favorite crypto for gambling? on: July 24, 2020, 02:32:25 PM
It's bitcoin mempool are going to be clogged like in 2017, ETH, LTC, and to some extend Dogecoin will be the next best alternative, although I always love to deposit with BTC as this is my main crypto to play with. Crypto industry is already in the last 4 years and it will continue to grow specially with it's many advantages like playing at home without any crowd. It's going to be a Billion dollar businesses and pretty sure that more online casinos are going to emerge in the future.

Bitcoin network can now handle millions of transactions, unlike before where there was an increased of Bitcoin users that congested the Blockchain. Currently there is secondary solution such as LN (Lightning Network). So it wont be a problem for Bitcoin and it can handle huge volume.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: building a crypto criminal database on: July 24, 2020, 12:00:23 AM
If those criminals use Bitcoin for criminal activities then it could be a bad move. As we know, all the transaction made in Bitcoin are publicly displayed in the Blockchain api (site).
So these criminals will surely cannot do anything they want with their stolen Bitcoins. I guess this is one of the perks of having a pseudonymous system.
296  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Question to Crypto users about its security on: July 23, 2020, 11:50:28 PM
There are escrow services for that similar to leaving a last will if you die or if you dont trust escrow services you can just pay for services like mailshake or zoho to send an email to your family or someone significant to you and schedule that email.
Surely, this is better than having to through a lawyer and pay him millions.

About stolen crypto money that you can't trace is entirely incorrect, you can also file a complaint because Bitcoin is pseudonymous you can file a case and trace those BTC.
297  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Limited escrow service for building self discipline. on: July 23, 2020, 01:28:38 PM
Such services would be nice but i doubt that any player would actually withhold their money to a middle man especially when gambling. Because there are instances that you might quickly spend all your bankroll in an instant, as you might know casino's are risky there's always a high chance to win big or loss big quickly. And you call the escrow to give the funds and he refuses, but threaten him to end the contract.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How fair is Provably Fair? Do you verify every bet as a gambler? on: July 23, 2020, 01:09:39 PM
Would be nice if there is an online tool that automates the checking of seed hash if it has change while betting because to me, manually copying hash seed in every bet is a bit an hassle it would render my gambling experience unenjoyable. Hope you could also develop a GUI plugin for these kinds of problems and avoid gambling sites exploiting the PF feature.
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin sites - Alexa ranking on: July 23, 2020, 12:23:43 AM
Alexa alone is not enough to estimate a website's ranking and dominance in the internet. There are also other parameters to consider like DR (domain ranking) which ranks a site with the number quality links it has. Google has change its algorithm due to some people abusing it and considers DR much more significant currently for ranking sites.
300  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoins dominance coming to an end? on: July 23, 2020, 12:11:21 AM
That's very unlikely for me, Bitcoin is the most established and popular in the Crypto space as well for many countries and businesses local or online, in fact it has been called as most profitable investment of the decade. I think, if Bitcoin falls due to another altcoin taken over would end the entire Cryptocurrency market because investors would think Crypto investment is just a bubble and would never trust it again as an legitimate asset.
