281  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't look at btc every five minutes on: February 19, 2018, 03:34:45 PM
Yes this is true and most commonly a habit of newbies as well. I check my bitcoin at least 5 times a day and check how much it had rise or fall from the moment I wake up until the last minute I go to bed, just to make an assurance or at least an idea of how much bitcoin will be the next day I wake up. Anyways, those newbies would grow tired of checking them every 3-5 minutes when months will pass.
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost over 80k because i sold too early (newbie mistake) on: February 19, 2018, 02:15:57 PM
I don't think you lost anything because you didn't have that amount in the first place before the coin mooned. Although it was a waste when it was supposedly your profit and such a huge amount of profit according to you so don't confuse the losses with your supposedly profits. I would suggest to sell your coins only if you needed the money but if not then hold them for a couple more years or months and you'll be surprised of the amounts you profit.
283  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the most profitable coin if invested? on: February 19, 2018, 12:57:14 PM
I am eager to invest for now. But, I am still confused which coin should I choose. so much of his coins are good to invest.
I just want to get the best coin among the good ones to invest ..
please me, give me feedback.  Huh
For my own opinion you should invest in bitcoin since it is the most common and it is very successful. It is really good to invest in bitcoin even if the value of bitcoin now is not stable and its depression don't panic because theirs a humor that before the year ends its value will appression to $40,000 or invest also in alt so if your investment in bitcoin fail you have a reserve source of investment for more chances of winning.

That is true that bitcoin has the highest percentag value and it is good investment as well. The profit that might earn from investing can double it up the worth beause the price is keep on changing and going into the highest point.  Yes you have heared that the price is flactuated and that is true it is a challenge to us how to handle and be competitive enough to go on for the process. At this point it is better to go on for research so that it adds ideas and knowledge regarding to the latest news about bitcoin.

Yes I agree too that Bitcoin would be one of the best coins to invest, however to those other altcoins you want to invest in; do a lot more research about the top 20 coins in the coinmarketcap so you would gain more knowledge about the other altcoins. Do not rely on what people tell you because there are a lot of people who create FUD just not to buy that certain coin or sell them when they are at loss.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin private , Next bitcoin cash??? on: February 18, 2018, 10:23:41 AM
I don't think it will replace bitcoin cash however it could possibly be more in demand in terms of value than of bitcoin cash. That's mostly the case there are new forks and a new coin would be created after the fork. But we won't know for sure not until it will be listed in some major exchanges or known exchanges like Bittrex or Binance.
285  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin price "drop" on: February 18, 2018, 09:08:56 AM
We can't help the fact that there are people who likes to FUD especially when bitcoins price goes down and I think they do that so most newbies would panic and eventually sell their coins because they got scared of the news. As for me, I really don't listen to those type of people instead I trust my instincts and judgement.
286  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think we reached the bottom? on: February 17, 2018, 05:04:05 PM
Yes I think we have reached the bottom that's why bitcoin is increasing now, it might have decreased a little but it will increase back again. But that's just my opinion though, but I am still expecting bitcoin to decrease in the next few months or so.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Long Term Invests on: February 16, 2018, 01:15:28 PM
Bitcoin would be one of the best coin to invest for long term. And there are some coins that are good for long term investments but you need to do some research first whichever coin you are comfortable with investing your money in.
288  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Question for all you holders on: February 15, 2018, 04:46:35 PM
I think most of the holders do have a specific amount targeted for their investments, I don't think they would hold that forever for sure because they invested them for a reason. And most of the reason is that they are saving these coins for their future, or saving them for rainy seasons.
289  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have you ever been scammed? on: February 15, 2018, 03:42:10 PM
Yes I have been scammed by a bounty campaign I've joined and waited for the announcement of the distribution but never heard since then. And the campaign manager assigned was gone for good too.
290  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your crypto? on: February 14, 2018, 04:26:52 PM
Yes you are correct, we all have our preferences and where we are comfortable with. I tried doing day trading before and yes the profits are good but I feel like my time is precious and I also need to get a life out of the digital world and disconnect sometimes to spend time with my family. It was taking too much of my time because I was aiming for something and it takes hours in a day for me to get me to that target amount and so I switched to long term trading instead and I'm still happy with the results.
291  Economy / Economics / Re: Where you see a Crash, I see a Fire Sale! on: February 13, 2018, 11:56:20 AM
This is actually a great way to motivate yourself, and I can see myself doing the same thing. I haven't eaten lately at any fast food restaurants and eat at home to save money and of course rather buy them with bitcoin and other altcoins and hold them for long term investment.
292  Economy / Speculation / Re: Have you noticed bitcoin price now was quite stable? on: February 13, 2018, 10:54:25 AM
Let's not get our hopes yet because although bitcoin is steady around the price range $8k-$9k we still can't tell yet if it will go up or dip down back again. We will just have to wait for some news, whether it is positive or negative news; that's when we will know where the price of bitcoin is going. And most of the altcoins follow its trail lately.
293  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the Bitcoin and Alt Coins prices will GROW. on: February 13, 2018, 09:09:24 AM
Anytime now it will recover from the dip but don't expect too much because it won't increase back to what its last all time high was but slowly it will regain back and hopefully increase back and reach a new ATH soon. Since you mentioned you are on loss now, what Altcoins did you invest in by the way because I also have a couple of Altcoins listed in my portfolio and I'm not totally at loss because of the other coins that are increasing slowly as I'm typing.
294  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $ 100,000 will be in 2018? on: February 12, 2018, 05:07:55 PM
How have you come up with that price in the first place OP? Yes there are a lot of possibilities in the world of crypto but I think that is too much to ask for by the end of this year. I don't think it'll reach that amount by December of this year, that's my honest opinion though.
295  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BIcoin Manipulation on: February 12, 2018, 03:51:05 PM
Oh yes I think these whales have something to do with the market. When you say manipulating, most people would think it is a negative thing these whales are working on but they do have a big role to play in the market. And with bitcoins price which is constantly fluctuating, of course there are some people who are behind it just like in the stocks market. The only difference they have is that these digital currencies are new and are selling like hotcakes compared to forex trading.
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: February 12, 2018, 02:44:15 PM
Honestly, I don't like airdrops and I don't think it is really safe. I just don't feel secure about the idea or maybe I just lack knowledge of how it works and I get a lot of warning from my friends saying it's not at all worth it so I really didn't get into much details about it.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is hodling alts dangerous? on: February 10, 2018, 05:58:47 AM
I don't think holding altcoins can be dangerous because you wouldn't be holding something not unless you know that coin has potential to grow big in the future right? Just like buying coins in the trading site, of course you would find time first to do research on the coins you are investing and not just randomly selecting coins out of nowhere.
298  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins be converted into cash? on: February 09, 2018, 11:28:08 AM
Yes bitcoin can be converted to cash, I'm not sure why you didn't know that. Anyways, there are so many ways for you to convert your bitcoins and other altcoins to cash using exchange sites. There are a number of list for those trusted sites and it also depends on which country you are from if you want to convert them according to your local currency.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance vs Bittrex on: February 09, 2018, 09:18:07 AM
I like Bittrex than Binance probably because this was the first exchange site I registered to and got used to it so it seems pretty easy to me to manuever the site. Although you need to submit an ID for verification, for me I think it is just right thing to do for security purposes. And the transaction fees for me are reasonable too in my opinion, at least no one would abuse the withdrawals or transactions made in this site.
300  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin price drop so fast? on: February 09, 2018, 08:07:45 AM
If you are not aware of it; it has been a normal pattern for bitcoin to fluctuate that fast so for elder members in this forum they are not that affected when bitcoin price decreases or increases in a day. And read more news or subscribe and follow some crypto news on your social media to know the reason why it decreases and increases because most of the time the reason are stated there whether a certain country withdraws bitcoin or bans them then it will affect the market of the coin.
