2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you been scammed? or almost? on: February 10, 2018, 02:21:47 PM
Nope, I wasn't. It's a very hard thing to do to stay calm and think carefully when somebody offers the best deal of the entire live. To be honest I'm trying to reduce risks to zero during such kind of offers and just avoid them. Of course you can say that I can miss some valuable opportunity by this, but anyway it's my life and my decisions are only in my charge.
2802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance won't unlock my account. It's been 8 days on: February 08, 2018, 06:14:18 PM
Binance is currently overwhelmed so there is only one way is to wait a while more.

Centralised exchange as time goes will become very difficult to use. Issuecof frozen account and limit is the reason why i prefer decentralized exchange like etherdelta. Decentralized exchange is the future. Let put aside centralized exchange!

I think so too, but a low volumes of ED are just killing me. Unfortunately we have only 1 active DEX for ERC20 tokens only. I guess there will appear another DEXes not only for ERC20 tokens in 2018.
2803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you selling your altcoins so soon? on: February 08, 2018, 06:07:22 PM
I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?

The common strategy during the fall is the following. For example I have 1000 Eth and now it cost 800$ per coin. I guess that the fall will be continued so I want to sell my funds to USD and buy more ETH at the lower price. It's a pretty natural feeling, but it causes even worst situation at the market, but there is no another way... The market is self-regulated system with a lot of variables Wink
2804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallet for Ethereum on: February 08, 2018, 05:42:00 PM
Like most members of the forum I store ЕТН in MyEtherWallet + Ledger Nano. It is very convenient and reliable. Using this combination I'm sure that my coins are completely safe.
2805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: waiting for the right time to get in. on: February 06, 2018, 03:27:48 PM
I’ve had 5k US sitting on the bench watching and waiting for the right time to get in. Seems like the time is here.
Been researching projects and narrowed them down to these FOR LONG TERM HOLDS.
ETH ,VEN ,XLM ,IOTA ,NEO ,OMG ,ICX ,LISK ,WTC
Thoughts?

I don't think that time has already come, there will be another drop down. According to my experience there is a very low chance to get in at the very bottom. That is why I cash in with many buy orders in some range but not the only one at the very low. You have a pretty good list of coins so it would be great to diversify your capital between them.
2806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current crash and future of crypto on: February 06, 2018, 03:21:13 PM
Market fluctuation are always used by the whale investors. It's nothing more than their earning strategy. They buy quick making the market go up and sell quick to dump it to novice and small investors to let the market fall and again buy the coins for cheap. So, small investors should be aware of what is happening with their investment.
My tips at current time.
1. If you are in larger loss, hold, the coin would rise one day.
2. If you are in small loss or profit, hold or sell, wait the market to stabilize a bit and buy.
3. If you haven't invested yet, don't jump in now, let the market stabilize before buying.

I don't agree with the last option. Just take a look at previous dips. This market grows very fast once it drops at the bottom. As a rule there is no stabilizing period.
2807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How will this drop in prices of BTC and ETH affect ICOs on: February 06, 2018, 02:54:34 PM
I think that any ICO project should not rely only on ETH/NEO and other crypto. Some funds for a short or even middle term work should be stored in USD. This is the most correct strategy for a normal business imo.
2808  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bounty Campaigns are good to participate? on: February 06, 2018, 02:47:03 PM
Hi,

Actually I am new here and want to know how to make BTC or Altcoins through bounty campaigns? Which one are good to participate?

First of all you need to decide what bounty type do you want to participate in. Signature campaigns mostly require rank of Jr. Member and higher. Twitter campaigns require 500+ followers.

Next. You should find some reliable project with a bounty campaign. Go to some ICO tracker and choose the project with a bounty campaign. I recommend to use icodrops.com. There you can find links to bounty threads. If you want to find the thread by yourself just google "<project name> bounty bitcointalk".

The last but not least thing is to register to the particular campaign. The instruction how to do that you will find in the bounty thread.
2809  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto? on: February 05, 2018, 08:23:11 PM
Etereum will always be the main one, because this is the basis of the blockchain! Regardless of the volatility, despite the huge prices for some coins!

I'm not sure that ETH will be the main coin. If this happens then most likely it will be some other coin which is not so well known I guess...
2810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Today's news: Chinese gov restricts Crypto again... on: February 05, 2018, 08:17:27 PM
Another FUD to dump the market... I'm already tired of reading negative news from China. I hope that crypto spring will soon come and bitcoin will begin to grow with the whole market. For China it is very disadvantageous and even silly to prohibit crypto.
2811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook Campaign no more!! on: February 05, 2018, 08:14:28 PM
I have not seen an official statement from Facebook that it prohibits advertising crypto. I think that soon this news may be refuted. In addition I still see a lot of reposts every day with crypto ads from members at facebook.
2812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Liza? on: February 04, 2018, 10:20:15 AM
I received an email from Yobit about this Bitcoin Liza. My first thought was, is this another bitcoin fork? since the name was Bitcoin Liza and again derived from Bitcoin. So anybody knows about it? Is this really another fork? Well, whatever it is, for sure it's another bitcoin wannabe. Forks now are big jokes, they just make fun of it and destroy the true essence of fork for bitcoin. By the way, I just noticed that naming these bitcoin wannabees right now are getting worse.  Grin

It seems to me that it is a total BS. It is created only for speculation and the price of this coin can collapse at any moment. But everyone should make a decision on whether it is worthwhile to trade with this coin or just bypass it.
2813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can someone explain me why all of them are going down? on: February 02, 2018, 11:21:34 AM
In fact, the entire crypt is related from one to another. Cryptoworld is one and reacts to various news about the crypto currency very symmetrically. And soon there will be a New Year in China, and therefore about the crypto-currency fell in all the last years, so, it was expected.

I don't think it's related to Chinese New Year somehow. I suppose that the main cause is Tether. A few days ago even Bittrex said that they are going to change USDT to USD.
2814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Almost All Currencies Down (RED DAYS) on: February 02, 2018, 11:17:21 AM
What happened today? As i saw in the market almost all the currencies is down even the BTC is super down. Is time to buy or not? Or do  we need now to sell what we hold or not? For you what is your best opinion or best strategy or best advice to all newbie.

I guess it's because the situation around Tether. Every single player at the market suspect them in issuing of USDT which are do not backed by a real USD. Plus there are a strong tie between issuing of USDT and the surges at BTC. Even Cindicator app asked me yesterday if USDT drops to 0.5 USD by the summer or not due to this problem.
2815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Wallet sync.. How big is the block? on: February 01, 2018, 10:57:07 PM
Do you have some significant reason to use desktop ETH wallet? If not then you can just use MyEtherWallet. There is no need to wait for a full sync to make anything with your ETHs. Just beware and don't get to phishing sites, that's all.
2816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody else shopping today? on: February 01, 2018, 10:36:37 PM
I suppose BTC will dive much dipper than 9k so we'll see much lower alts prices in a few days, maybe week. But anyway I bought some CND today at 0.000175 ETH.
2817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cappasity (CAPP) new Apple?) on: January 31, 2018, 08:59:40 PM
I can't realize why do they need the second phase of a crowdsale while they already have around 3000% of a growth. I guess they have much more funds that they need for developing.
2818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you truly believe in cryptocurrency on: January 31, 2018, 08:56:06 PM
There is no doubt that today's ICOs are the future. In a few years many of them will actually die, but the best of them will develop so good products which we can't imagine today. They will become like facebook, alibaba and so on at the beginning of 2000.
2819  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Arcblock review on: January 31, 2018, 08:34:29 PM
I already prepared 3 ETH + 7500 CMT to invest in. As for me it's a very serious and legit project. Maybe the most important project of 2018, who knows. The signature bounty campaign has a tremendous amount of participants - around 1000 members.
