Remember, when selling BTC and withdrawing from exchange, you definitively have to pay income tax, so no $1000 per coin yet at all Long term capital gains (US) can be at 0% for a lot of people.

Single 50 gh/s and 60 Upgrades: Backlog is finished and we are shipping from stock!
So they shipped 4 months worth of product in 1 day. That means they've had virtually no sales for the past 4 months!

KnC uses minimum values based on calculations they know are achievable in the real world. There is reasoning behind that we will be able to explore in a few months time.
What real-world results of 20nm silicon are they basing their minimum values on?

looking forward to the videos and some photos..
Coming soon. Is it soon yet? Posting a video isn't very hard.

Congratulations guys. Who cares enough to prove me wrong? 100% wrong. Holding tighter than ever.

Isn't it possible that instead of 100000USD worth of BTC, we will remain in current price and we will have dozens of altcoins valued 100-1000USD each?
I think it's possible in the long run. Bitcoin isn't everything to everyone. For instance, bitcoin is currently poorly suited to microtransactions and fast confirmations. It may not be possible to add that to bitcoin. Eventually a micro-transaction fast altcoin may gain significant traction.

What are you guys thoughts about this hardware VS the Black Arrow stuff?
This looks overpriced.

An ASIC for mining bitcoin it's a "simple" project, only an Algorithm implemented more and more times...
But making 20nm wafers isn't "simple". Even if KnC does everything right, there's a very good chance TSMC will be delayed in getting the wafers made. Is ORSoC doing the design again?

It's not impossible.
Jupiters went on sale June 3rd and the first ones delivered were October 2nd so 4 months
If they kept the same timescale that is late march
*fingers crossed*
That was with a mature 28nm process that everyone uses. 20nm is a whole new story. TSMC is going to have their hands full making 20nm work for the big boys (Apple, Qualcomm, etc).

What about shipping date? Q1/Q2 is a bad joke, that's a 6 months time frame. They could ship in June and that's Q2.
Well they sure as hell aren't shipping in Q1.

"Unreasonable" is buying a supercharged Cadillac XLR because you want the high-compression 443 hp engine, then whining because it only takes premium gas.
No, what's unreasonable is being told you can't drive your new supercharged Cadillac XLR in weather warmer than 72F.

Hashfast shall have no obligations for breach of warranty if the alleged defect or non-conformance is found to have occurred as a result of operation in an ambient temperature other than 5-22 degrees Celsius (40-72 degrees Fahrenheit) Better not mine during summertime! Did they just say "warranty void if ambient temp goes over 22c"?

"It takes 4.5 seconds for a block to reach 50% of the miners. That's approximately an eternity in computer terms. That's plenty of time for a selfish miner to push his own block and win some races, especially if he makes his block smaller than average."
But won't the 4.5 seconds apply equally to the selfish miner and honest miners?
Not all nodes are created equal. It doesn't matter if you reach 50% of the miners, if those 50% only have 1% of the hashrate.

All encrypted and hidden behind several layers of passwords of course.
How do you keep the passwords safe and secure?

You, like several others, make this claim... but you, like all others have yet to provide a single shred of evidence that I've lied anywhere. But go on, please post a link to where I've lied, lets see it. My prediction:
Sounds like a fun game to play. I'll start it off. When is the Jalapeno getting FCC approval?
Maybe two weeks? We are waiting for the test lab to issue the test report.

Call it what you will, I'm "All In" with KNC, re-investing every bit that comes in as fast as it is possible here at KNC, but that's me... I fully agree with Winlevoss when they valuate BTC @ 40grand plus a coin within a couple years.... my numbers actually say much higher.
Then you're far better off simply buying BTC instead of a risky miner purchase. You're almost guaranteed to make a better return.

What's your plan if there's a fire, and it turns out the fireproof safe is less fireproof than expected?
No plan is foolproof. Total loss through a major fire is a very small possibility. I'll have to check my property insurance for fire coverage.

Small daily-spending wallet: on my Android phone.
Big cold-storage wallet: printed, laminated, in a ziplock baggie, in a Pelican waterproof case, inside my fireproof safe.
What I want to do is 3d print my private key qr-code and store that in a safe.

What about Atari Teenage Riot?
I'll second that.
