2801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest-able Altcoins? on: April 26, 2016, 01:46:11 PM
Some people here are posting their stocked alt coins in hopes that they could get a little minipump if someone gets interested with their coin. Guess what, you wouldn't get that minipump.
2802  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 at the beginning of May ? on: April 26, 2016, 01:13:15 PM
There are only 4 days left. There's still 40$ left to increase. I don't think BTC price will go up 10$ a day. But still, there's a chance that this thing happens.
2803  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How earn Bitcoins fast and free?? on: April 26, 2016, 01:11:33 PM
The most easy to do for Newbiew is a faucet, but it requires a lot of time (not fast) and coin in getting a little

But you can fasten up this 'slow' process if you've got a decent website and you've got time to promote your referrals in facebook groups, and in other forums. This is the best way to do faucet -- use of referrals. You wouldn't have to click all day and all night just to earn some cents. If you've got thousands of referrals, the money will come to you automatically. You don't have to solve captchas and stuff, you just have to promote your referral link. Smiley

Work hard to earn faster bitcoins

And in what kind of work do you propose us to work hard in order to earn bitcoins faster? Smiley
2804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: April 26, 2016, 01:07:46 PM
Do it moderately, dont gamble if you are angry because tendency you will lose all your money.
And always play safe, gamble with care and dont be greedy if you win once or twice, then stop and gamble again tomorrow or in then other day.

It's really simple to say to "stop" but the truth is, it's the hardest part of gambling. At some point, I stop betting and close the tab on my browser (the gambling site's tab). After an hour or two, I'll find myself back in the game again. Cheesy

And yes, you shouldn't gamble when you're angry. Being outrageous will make you bet much bigger than your usual bet. Some people even go all in when they get angry which results to losing all their money at once.
2805  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: April 26, 2016, 12:58:57 PM
Bitcoin is here to stay. Banks are here from 300 yrs, so they will stay too, but in a different form.

I agree. Banks will not disappear because so many things are connected to them and it's hard to imagine that Bitcoin will take over all of those operations. 20 years from now they might disappear though.

I don't think in 20 years they disappear. Maybe it will happen in some countries but not all. Some banks are already adapting to blockchain technology so maybe they will make another way. It's really hard to say that they disappear because as we all know the government won't let that happen.

I bet in 20 years some banks will allow bitcoin service too. Aside from fiat, you can withdraw and/or deposit bitcoins.
2806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: April 26, 2016, 12:56:43 PM
Try doing some training for yourself. For example, if a whole day passed and you didn't gamble even if you urge to, you get yourself a pizza or smth that you want. Like a little reward for your action. You can get other people involved with this reward, like your wife or some member of your family.

You can try doing punishment to yourself. This isn't a good punishment but this might get you to try to discipline yourself. Whenever you gamble, you wouldn't eat for 24hours. You can tell your wife to not give you food, lock the ref, etc. Once you get a little traumatized with this starvation thing, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want to have this punishment again. Thus, pushing yourself to not gamble.  Smiley
2807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ALL IN!!?? on: April 26, 2016, 12:50:28 PM
Going all in is a huge risk and you must be sure that you are going to win,  Else if you lose you lose everything.  Embarrassed

You can't be 100% sure that you're going to win in gambling except the game is a fixed match and you've got some info about the insider job. Roll Eyes

2808  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: April 26, 2016, 12:44:52 PM
BEST Investment for bitcoin is "NOT TO INVEST"

I think his point is that you better keep your money instead of losing them all once you've fallen victim in one of ponzi sites. You can go from 100 to 0  real quick if you get scammed by one of those HYIP sites. Since the use of bitcoin also gives you the anonymity privilege, the admin of the scam site or whoever scammed you will never get traced just because you know his/her bitcoin address. The name used probably isn't his/her real name. The email address used in a scam site might be just a dummy account.

Be really wise when investing in something. Be it an investment site, or a cloud mining, etc, you should be really wise about your decision.
2809  Economy / Economics / Re: Why better tech can't kill Bitcoin on: April 26, 2016, 12:03:03 PM
Bitcoin will inevitably evolve overtime. It's become popular nowadays thus it's demand will be higher. I think when we get to the stage where we are living with robots, bitcoin is the main currency in the world. People love to use stuffs that are famous, because they think they are 'in'.

And also most people of science are pro bitcoin so I doubt that better tech stands a chance to kill bitcoin.
you are right. in fact it could just be the opposite.
today bitcoin currency is best used on the Internet, perhaps the development of technology, the bitcoin will grow. maybe those future use bitcoin as a means of transactions because of its speed in transactions, so maybe this will be in the mix with new technology

Speed in transactions? People are ranting about how the confirmations are taking too long. It takes an average of 20-30 mins before the block is mined. This is actually one of the weaknesses of BTCTC. There are tons of transactions going on, meaning there would be some traffic before the coins completely go into your wallet. Nevertheless, I'm pretty sure someone might resolve this issue. Maybe the traffic can't be resolved but people might find a way of coping with the situation of this. For example, after 1 confirmations in blockchain.info, that transaction is already counted as done. Smiley

You can consider that when sending bitcoins, 1 confirmation means the transaction is done because unlike with other processors, you can't cancel your transaction in BTCTC once you clicked the 'send' button. Cheesy
2810  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 25, 2016, 06:32:49 PM
Untouchable funds? You can make it by yourself too. Being handed it with others even with your close relatives will just result of a worst case scenario especially when they are not present when you really need that money as in to the point of urgent status.

Well, you can only achieve that if you've got enough discipline for yourself. If you can discipline yourself to not to spend whenever you get the urge to, or if you get yourself to totally stop spending money on useless things, then it is possible to leave your money untouched. Otherwise, having money in you and not in your close relatives will only lead you to spend more and more money instead of saving it. Roll Eyes
2811  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 25, 2016, 06:30:01 PM
Pretty sure having a better education is the best investment so far for 10BTC. I wouldn't gamble that money nor invest in any investment sites. Most of those sites turns out to be a ponzi scam and you can go from 10BTC to none at all.

Investing in a higher education really pays of if you're pretty passionate about the subject matter. Otherwise, you can also invest that 10BTC in some mining rigs and try to save some for electricity charges.

There's a chance that I move to another country if I've got that money as well. Simply because other countries pays much more than the third world country that I live in.
2812  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and it's future. on: April 25, 2016, 05:54:03 AM
-snipe-

haha, where do you live?

i used to think people in my country never heard of bitcoin before but i checked localbitcoins.com and saw that there is a lot of people from my country there that are trading bitcoin.

also i did a google search in my language about bitcoin and found some sections on forums that are dedicated to those who are into bitcoin.

bitcoin is not still so popular here but there is still many who have heard about bitcoin and used it before.

I live in the Philippines. Well in my area at least, people aren't interested in bitcoin. They are all into being famous and following all the social media trends. I don't think the BTCTC adoption is pretty good in my area. But in other countries like USA, UK, a lot of people are aware of bitcoins. In my country most bitcoin users are those people from the city who do nothing but surf the internet. Maybe they stumbled upon some bitcoin stuff and get interested with it.
2813  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: April 25, 2016, 05:44:30 AM
I suggest you buy some pretty decent mining hardware and participate in signature campaign. You can get pretty good money from signature campaign if you have good quality posts + high ranked account.

One thing is sure when death comes to you. You are not able to live again. And if you believe gamers don't die they respawn. Then why not try to do it?  Grin

Plot twist: Someone tried and succeeded. Grin

I believe most of the answers here are based on what they religion they belong to and some atheist stuffs.
2815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 25, 2016, 05:33:03 AM
Gambling is so addicting in my opinion, just because there is a chance that you can earn money. Also, it feels good to win, but losing feels pretty bad, so when you feel the feeling that you get when you win, you have the urge to win more.

The excitement of gambling is one the reasons why it is so addicting. Even though losing feels pretty bad, this triggers your mind to bet more and more until you become outrageous in hopes of getting your fortune back. When you're on rage you might as well bet all your money and that's when you go bankrupt. Wink

Gambling is so addicting because everyone likes it to do, you can play games as well and that is fun to do.
But it let you also think that you can earn some money with it but that is actually not true.
gambling games are better positioned as a hobby only, not to gamble positioned to be a serious job. if we could get the money from gambling so treat it all as a gift from our game.

If you guys are thinking gambling can be a "job", then you're partially wrong. Yes, you can get decent profit from gambling if you're pretty good at it. But when you get addicted to it, you'll eventually money. If you want a job, then go outside and apply to a decent company. Get a day job instead of thinking gambling is your job.

Just because you always win in gambling, doesn't mean it'll stay forever like that. You'll eventually lose your money together with all the profit that you had.
2816  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: April 25, 2016, 05:28:27 AM
Save money in bitcoin and you will get best returns in future I am saving part of my salary in bitcoin, as I feel I will earn good additional profits in next couple of months.

That is a good idea. Especially now that halving is approaching. Your money could earn more saving it in bitcoin rather than stashing is on a bank. Bank only give meager interest. But if prediction is good, bitcoin may double your money in a few months.
I know a lot of people have been doing similar things over the past year or two and have been taking part of their paycheck and putting it into Bitcoin, and I guess now it is finally paying off for them.

It's good if you just bought bitcoin this year, you can get profit after a few months. Smiley

But if you bought bitcoin 2-3 years ago, I don't think it's a good idea because you can use that investment money for some other things. Grin Thus, making your money grow more instead of just waiting for the price to shoot up. But if you're the busy kind of guy, then waiting for 2-3years might be okay to you.
2817  Other / Off-topic / Re: How kids can "earn" Bitcoin ? on: April 25, 2016, 05:22:46 AM
In my opinion kids should be kept away from currency, no matter what currency it is . Kids has more tendency to misuse of the accounts and it can also be bad on their studies part. So Coins or bitcions are for the grown ups  Wink
i cannot agree with your opinion, to be honest the more kids use money the more they will know how to manage their money in the future thus allowing them to live a way easier life
I agree with your opinion. It's true the more kids use money the more they will know how to use it.

LOL You guys are agreeing with this opinion until you see a 8 year old kid paying bills. And why would they manage money? Would you give them tons of money and let them decide what to buy and where to invest them? Do you think your kids will like doing those kind of stuffs?

If you guys have kids yourself, try asking them if they want to pay bills (internet, water, electricity, loans) and stuff because that's how you 'manage money'. And also, how would they manage money if they barely know math? Your opinion is absurd IMO.
2818  Economy / Services / Re: WWW.GAMEBET.GG Signature campaign, (OPEN) New members paid in GBT. on: April 24, 2016, 07:20:56 PM
You are accepted but as your application says you was not wearing our signature I'd like you to re apply with your current post count

After posting here I looked at YoBit's thread and noticed that there's a problem so I just left that campaign and then I started wearing your signature+avatar. I just didn't bother to edit my post here 'coz I thought you would assume it that way.

Anyway, I don't really mind getting paid a little less. So:
Post count: 147 including this one
2819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: April 24, 2016, 12:01:59 PM
I said this before and I will say it again.

The only smart way to gamble is with reverse martingale.

Bet small, and keep doubling your winners and go back to your base when you lose. After you win 10x in a row, keep betting until you win 15-20x times in a row. And you can turn 100 sats into 2BTC.

That will increase your profits exponentially. But what gambling site can you win 10x-20x in a row? Roll Eyes I doubt that there's any. You can barely win 5x-8x in a row @2.00 multiplier.

It doesn't matter which site. If you have enough rolls you can easily hit 10x-20x. The same way how martingale can hurt you when playing it forward.

i agreed. if you have hit 15 consecutive rows of losing which is very very common. it is also very likely you can get 15wins in a row even though it is a bit harder as compare to losing in the long run. However, the 15 win and the 15 lose, the amount is a huge different, 16,000 times more in losing and that is why people will feel the extreme pain while winning 15 times in a row you may not even notice.

Exactly, it works both ways. However psychologically its very difficult to keep playing until you win 15 times. For most they will stop at 5 wins or 10 wins and luck out from the large wins.
I can't stop really myself even after a big win and tripled my initial amount. I still want to win more and that is the dangerous thing if you want to play gambling in a smart way you need to stop your temptation  Cheesy

I know what you mean. Honestly I think the best way to do this would be to maybe program a robot or something so it doesn't get emotional and keeps betting until it hits 15x wins.
To hit 15x wins in dice game? looks like impossible hope to to hit 15x in a row in dice game now. so sorry because too many hidden trick in dice game.

LOL To those people claiming that it's only "common" to win 15x in a game. Please upload a screenshot of your account having 15 consecutive wins. I bet you can't. You guys are giving false hopes to newbies who are reading this thread. It's really really hard to win up to 5-8x in a gambling site. SMH

And don't even try to upload lame bets like @1.01x since our topic here at the start was "doubling your bet every win" so the multiplier should be atleast @2.00x.
Bet small, and keep doubling your winners and go back to your base when you lose. After you win 10x in a row, keep betting until you win 15-20x times in a row. And you can turn 100 sats into 2BTC.
2820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: *** Complete Guide on How to Create a New Alt Coin *** on: April 24, 2016, 11:54:56 AM
ppl haven't concerned creating new coin anymore?
Or there's another thread for discussion about this?

I can't see a similar topic like this that is more updated than January 2015. I bet people aren't interested now in making a new alt coin, they just buy and sell alt coins now. They are more on trading now. There are tons of alt coins out there that are unsuccessful and just become dump coins.
