Great to see some of the pools finally be active to potential scam coins. Wish this was implement to CNL and few other coins also....

Next step, exchanges need to be active.

There really needs to be regulation on letting people starting and maintaining coins. One thing to have decentralization, but some people abuse that and take advantage of that privilege.

Regulation!!!

Next you'll want the fed involved.. :-(

Um, sometimes that's a good thing.

Imagine no government, no law enforcement and no jails. That's would be like the wild west all over again.

I believe in the crypto community, coin creation, coin products/services and coin transactions should be decentralized, but the scam active of a few devs needs to be kept in check. Not necessarily a government, but maybe a panel here in this forum to overview coin releases and prevent them just making potential scam coins, if people would mind volunteering some time.

all new altcoins are a scam.

especially true with 1 day of mining.

the way it works is simple.

  • dev instamines using high hash rental rigs.
  • he gets and exchange listing.
  • he dumps on the exchange.
  • he comes back and makes a new thread.

there are no 'ultra fair launches' you can be sure of that.

this is a formula that makes the dev money and maybe a few lucky people who get it early enough.

in two weeks no one will even remember this coin exists.

Hello all, I just wanted update with short to mid term plan:

  • Get an exchange, to ensure distribution to non-miners
  • Begin guerilla marketing campaign on twitter (#Fusecoin)
  • Approach small merchants with incentives to support Fusecoin (use some of the premine funds to possibly back a bonus fund for merchants)
  • Begin marketing on  coin related sites with premine funds
  • Iterate on this plan as we get closer

We understand the difficulty being extremely high means this coin is very hard to mine, but this is also a good thing. This ensures the network is secure, and is a good measure of how much people believe in us.

Thanks everyone Smiley

the real plan.

get on exchange.
dump.
quit

I think same, they are doing it again and again,,,  some pools can be involved, some full members, and maybe some exchanges,  time say true....
if someone want true only check elite, fuse, prisma and usb..........

Kinda hard to understand your horribly broken english.

How is this the same and "true" if the coin isn't even on an exchange?

Sorry about English,

but I can sure  you when it hit exchange price drop in same day to 80 or 90 % of value and devs vanished in it  coins..........

Thing is you have no proof. Even if it does happen the only thing going for you is your assumption.

You could go and write this in every single new altcoin topic and have a 60-70% success rate.

You are right,  but in case of Elite look a good dev, but he did it, you can check it out for yourself, wait for fuse, prisma and usb coin and it will be enough proofs.........

dev walked before he launched.

2839  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRISMA][x13] @PrismaCoin on: July 27, 2014, 01:52:25 AM
Grin Maybe something went wrong in their Scamming Process now the OP has cold feet and cant even reply to people concerns.

lol this is actually what happened during the slatecoin launch.  Dev said it would relaunch in a couple hours, 6 hours later an exact same clone coin came out with a new logo and was instamined 80 blocks all to one wallet, and behold, people still mined it.

good news is that many peoples to know how they are working, and can be stopped such as Prisma.......

Maybe it group or devs will be more happy with anon or so?     Cheesy
