I suggest creating a new thread for the node bounty. I already started to stop looking here again, because there's only about node stuff i fu***** don't care about
Agreed. Getting a tad annoying but then again doesn't seem much else to talk about at the minute.

I would say just leave it as it is, it bumps the thread. Just realize that not everyone runs nodes or can help with it. (Besides, if someone has problems they are going to post wherever they want...)

I consider that create a new thread for the node bounty sound logic because peoples talk about payments all time, maybe it can be affecting a few prices because they  are complaining all time about payments delayed or issues, but otherwise Hz platform work like a charm, and is better talk about it or another stuff. So if anyone have a doubt about payments or nodes it can be kindly redirected by a link.

2286  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin has entered Wall street officially? on: July 09, 2015, 01:18:51 AM
I am not really sure if this will bode well for Bitcoin getting into the hands of WALL ST SHARKS, Unless it just brings in more punters and hoarders and helps the market cap increase. For that reason alone it might have some positive offset, but only time will tell how they will play around with this new tech money toy.

I dont think that WALL ST Sharks are not appropriating of some BTC already.
2287  Economy / Economics / Re: IBM working with US Federal banks to develop digital currency on: July 09, 2015, 01:01:48 AM
http://recode.net/2015/03/13/exclusive-ibm-looking-at-adopting-bitcoin-technology-for-major-currencies/

I just read that IBM is developing blockchain-similar/copied technology and working with the US Federal Reserve banks to organize a centralized version of bitcoin. Have you all read this yet? Sorry if I'm rehashing old news - the article is dated end of May but I don't recall a discussion here.

------
International Business Machines Corp is considering adopting the underlying technology behind bitcoin, known as the “blockchain,” to create a digital cash and payment system for major currencies, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The objective is to allow people to transfer cash or make payments instantaneously using this technology without a bank or clearing party involved, saving on transaction costs, the person said. The transactions would be in an open ledger of a specific country’s currency such as the dollar or euro, said the source, who declined to be identified because of a lack of authorization to discuss the project in public.

The blockchain — a ledger, or list, of all of a digital currency’s transactions — is viewed as bitcoin’s main technological innovation, allowing users to make payments anonymously, instantly, and without government regulation.

Rather than stored on a separate server and controlled by an individual, company, or bank, the ledger is open and accessible to all participants in the bitcoin network.

The proposed digital currency system would work in a similar way.

“When somebody wants to transact in the system, instead of you trying to acquire a bitcoin, you simply say, here are some U.S. dollars,” the source said. “It’s sort of a bitcoin but without the bitcoin.”

Could be, Because look that IBM almost always  has been focused to corporations in the last years.I could bet that not only IBM but others Big Companies of computer industry are watching it type of blockchain technology and they will include it or any part of this on theirs projects.
2288  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 09, 2015, 12:27:13 AM
With bitcoin you know for a fact, that there will be only 20999999.9769 bitcoins out there (maximum global supply ever), not a single bit more Smiley

I guess it would take only a few minutes to change that condition (at least, there is a possibility of doing just that). You can't do that with gold by any means, no matter what you try, that is, increase the amount of gold by some arbitrary decision...

Even if you get consensus over that

Agree with the above, all it takes is for the devs to change their mind and a few key strokes later its BTC to infinity.  Gold was made in the center of a supernova, wont be any time soon that happens again here on earth in a cost effective way.

@ Realbitcoin, what if one or a few of these big BTC holders suddenly decide to cash out their stash, still the top 1% hold the majority of the wealth just like the dreaded fiat, they could easily manipulate the market at will -

BITCOIN TOP-500: 1-50 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=321265.0)

1.  BTC 980,000*. Satoshi Nakamoto
2.  BTC 400,000*. HD Moore (AHA)
3.  BTC 400,000*. Dustin D. Trammell (AHA)
4.  BTC 400,000*. Tod Beardsley (AHA)
5.  BTC 350,000*. "Dread Pirate Roberts" a.k.a. "DPR"
6.  BTC 300,000.  Roger Ver
7.  BTC 300,000*. "knightmb"
8.  BTC 200,000. Mark Karpeles
8.5  BTC 182,592. "Loaded"
9.  BTC 174,000*. FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation, USA)
10.  BTC 119,000. AsicMiner Management Team of 3 (names?)
11.  BTC 110,000. Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss
12.  BTC 100,000. "klaus"
13.  BTC 100,000. "mezzomix"
14.  BTC 75,000. "artforz"
15.  BTC 70,000. Erik Voorhees
17.  BTC 30,000. "nakowa"
18.  BTC 30,000. Mircea Popescu
19.  BTC 30,000. "Goat"
20.  BTC 25,000. Chamath Palihapitiya
21.  BTC 25,000. Gavin Andresen
22.  BTC 20,000. Max Keiser
23.  BTC 20,000. "Theymos"

So then what if the IMF and the US government sells their gold reserves, i`m sure the rich list in gold is even more monopolitic.

I dont agree with the dev "change their minds" people have to accept that , and i would definitely sell my bitcoin at the moment they decide to do that.

That will collapse the bitcoin for sure.

Interesting list, so Satoshi Nakamoto is to BTC same that Bill Gates is to fiat. The richest men of the world.

2292  Economy / Economics / Re: When and how will Bitcoin reach a trillion dollar market cap? on: July 08, 2015, 02:02:46 AM
A trillion marketcap means that 1 bitcoin will cost about 78.000 Dollar.

Someone will not believe this, but imo it will happen for 100% in the next 5 years, before 2021.
Only some big company must start with bitcoin payment and it will trigger a chain reaction.

True, but keep an safe wallet  and use it, Is not easy for many peoples even.

He said after checking into it ran on friday for the prior weeks totals (27th - 3rd), most must run over the weekend or something, but he manually took it off the delisting, I guess Saturday-Friday is the be the schedule it's on. Either way this coin is going nowhere!  Grin Grin

Ok very clear now,Thank you.

So next scrypt will run to (4-10) week,  Volume today is  0.59621231  is really good considering that must keep inside of  0.2 BTC  daily  or 0.2*7=1.4 BTC for week, but I guess that weekends are of very low volume, then 1.4/5=.0.28 must be "target" of  average daily trade volume to Monday-Friday to avoid surprises, and the more important keep watching  daily trade volume  Grin

postscript:  It coin could hit easily others 3 exchanges at least.

2299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [OK] OKCash |Efficient Fast Sustainable Eco-Friendly |Raspberry Pi OS IoT on: July 06, 2015, 03:42:37 AM
I talked with richie from bittrex: "the script is run once a week, so last weekend it was run for the previous week"

It has surpassed the threshold and will be removed from delisting status today when the script is run again/or manually since I brought it up. lol (They cleared the notice)  Grin Grin

Good news!

To be sure, They ran script on Saturday 4th.   Was done it to  (21,22,23,24,25,26,27)  or (28,29,30,1,2,3,4) days to?,

Next script could be until Saturday 11.

Yup.. that was a swift response from the OK community all right  Grin Grin Grin Delisting ended within 24 hours!

Look that now same problem is on bittrex.  --> This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on July 10th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.2 BTC.
