Don't get me wrong bud, I too think the scam coins NEED to be killed and stopped from being launched everyday! I just don't think every new coin is a scam and I certainly don't think developers, new or old, will stop releasing new coins because your thread here says it's so.

Why stop the profit trains, if bitcoin cared about bitcoin, it would develop a demand for it, you think BTC developers care about you? about us? no they dont even care about their own coin, alt coins are following the example they have been led by, BTC developed, pumped and basically stopped there, just like every alt coin. We as humans are led by example. the person who will succeed is the coin that is developed better than all the others, dont stop the trains because I am happy riding the profit trains till that team emerges.
If it work, may be will do that you keep you profits, because without scamcoins more peoples can invest and it will have more value at you coins, just think market cap raising in trust coins.Just now is the opposite all coins are losting his value until BTC........think for example if you win 100BTC trading and hold it, but if BTC keep dropping to reach 5 usd again, you finally lost. |

Personally I don't think your idea is good. I always like revolutions. And stopping revolution means creating a separated environment in this case it'll be only for old and experienced or probably wealthy guys to head over into Crypto currency by putting new comers aside means less participation which will lead all Crypto currencies to the less adoption which is not so good cause less adoption is equal to more likely useless. And our Crypto currency world will be limited which we don't want actually that's why this forum even still have a separate section for altcoin. And if for global warming you want us to stop adapting new coins then I'll suggest you to research more we already have some algos for energy efficiency and less heating, btw peoples are still mining Bitcoin and it'll continue like this and there are many other major reasons behind global warming so I urge you to research a bit more about that if you're really careful about it. Last but not the least no one can stop revolution, new things will always come in place of old that's how things on this world goes and nothing can stop it.

Right symply I dont see any progress in clones of coins used to scam peoples, I will give you a example, please visit SHIBEcoin , how it coin there is 200 or more,it was used today to scam like to 10 BTC for a group of pumpers, his values is 4 or 5 sat since launch today was pumped to 50 sat and less of 1/2 min drop 5 sat and after 4 sat, do you think that peoples that lost 90% of his investment in it, it is not fair, this is same shit of banks,

Actually 471 coins are listed in marketcap, I think that aproximately we have more that 1000 anothers , they are enough to learn,trade,mine,improvement,etc........
We need more stadistics of market.
EDIT: Exchanges have a limit of coins that they can support, and to traders is more easy choose beetween <100 that >100 markets for example............., it idea benefits exchanges too.
