2821  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Which cold wallet to buy? on: June 23, 2022, 04:16:11 PM
I have an Iphone and have read the Ledger Nano S only supports Android so looks like I will need the Nano X?

I also am invested in 10 different crypto not just 1 or 2, does that also mean I need the Nano X?

Currently, most of the hardware wallets do not support IOS devices except on MacBooks or any MacOS devices.

Do you have other devices like laptops or a PC? Hardware wallets like ledger nano mostly support Windows OS and Android OS but not in IOS devices.

Only safepal s1 and ellipal hardware wallets that I know support IOS devices but these are not well-known HW wallets, unlike Ledger and Trezor.
2822  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CEX Script or source code using API on: June 23, 2022, 12:56:06 AM
So are you planning to use API from Huobi or Binance?
I don't know if it would be a good idea because of the charge fees if the exchange you are planning to build is buying and selling then withdrawal fees from the Binance exchange is currently expensive like Bitcoin and ETH except on other coins.

If you don't have much knowledge in programming and it is for small business purposes in your local area. I suggest you can try to build and simple exchange site with WordPress and then use BTCpayserver plugin for Woocommerce payments there is two option the legacy and the v2 BTCpayserver for WP Woocommerce. Then use a free theme builder like Elementor to design your website. All funds are directly from your wallet so you need to host BTCpayserver on your own and if you want to accept other coins then you can add more but you need to host them on your own. Guides must be in BTCpayserver documentation.

Here's a sample exchange design that I found on Google using elementor theme builder

The advantage is you don't need to hire someone to build an exchange script and you are far from scammers.

2823  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I need another exchange with multi asset mode on: June 22, 2022, 11:42:25 PM
I can't seem to find the multi-asset mode you talking about in the OKX exchange unless you talking about the Multi-currency margin mode?

I search a bit I tried to check every well-known exchange about these multi-asset or multi-currency modes but it seems only Binance and OKX have these options.
2824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problems with Bitcoins Mined in 2009 on: June 22, 2022, 11:05:51 PM
It sounds like your coins were received directly to a pubkey (pay-to-pubkey), rather than an address (pay-to-pubkeyhash). You might have to spend them by building a raw transaction. Have you looked at tools such as coinb.in? It can be used offline by downloading the source. For your input you'd reference the receiving transaction ID and the output index (n).

It is possible?

Why not try it I don't know if it will work where did you hear that?
If you are going to make a raw transaction through coinb.in you need any of these Address, WIF key, Redeem Script or Transaction ID.

But I think your case about your private key will not work on Coinb.in unless if it's a WIF key.

Can you post a sample of your private key(Not the original one) I receive a PM from you and you said you have the private key why not import it into electrum?
You can use this link below as your reference for private key prefixes and copy the example from that link and paste it here.

2825  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: T17/S17 malfunction: cases, solutions, remedies, RMA history on: June 22, 2022, 04:01:48 PM
Hi Mike, thanks for the reply.

The very first day i ran these machines they were working with all 30 chips and 3 boards. After 30 minutes one Chain failed and then 2nd failed. so i decided to test the 2nd machine and the same shit repeated but only one chain failed on this machine.  I moved the running board on to the 2nd machine and ran the stock firmware and surprisingly its been running pretty well for the past 4 days and 17hrs. I'm getting 42T with the stock firmware.

As for the 1st machine, ill try to find someone locally and get it fixed.

If you can take the kernel logs from your first machine with the 2nd hashboard(Failed) maybe we can see some other reason under your kernel logs why the 2nd hashboard chain fail.

You can post the whole kernel logs here and make sure to paste it inside the insert code tag(A # button when editing/posting) or you can use pastebin.com and share the URL here.
Sometimes the issue is due to sensors or overheating and kernel logs will explain everything that happens in your machine.
2826  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: DragonMint T1, Innosilicon T1, Aladdin t1 dead after update firmware on: June 22, 2022, 03:50:51 PM
How to solder sd card to t1 control board. Did you do that?

If the control board does not have an SD card slot then you can try to solder an SD card connector it looks like this below

Just resolder them with 30watts soldering iron and soldering lead.
Or if you don't want to spend you can directly jumper the terminals using magnetic or any wire just make sure there is no short.
2827  Economy / Exchanges / Re: buying bitcoin using the mobile credit, not coingate on: June 22, 2022, 02:34:26 PM
What exactly is the mobile credit you are using is the prepaid load to buy Bitcoin? I tried to check the Coingate about this it seems it was already been deleted.

I think you are talking about a mobile top-up where you can buy BTC using a load?

I search a bit but it seems there are only two options where you can use that mobile credit and exchange it for Bitcoin. Paxful and localbitcoins are the only options you have.

If you are going to buy on Paxful just use the search button when selecting payment methods and use the keyword "mobile recharge".

The only problem is most of the offers there are 80% above the market.
2828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Problems with Bitcoins Mined in 2009 on: June 21, 2022, 11:56:55 PM
What is your backup?
Seed phrase do not exist yet in the year 2009 and the public key you mention won't be able to use for recovery.

Maybe if you have wallet.dat file or private key then you can recover your old wallet. Do you have any of these?
2829  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 21, 2022, 10:55:51 PM
You need to be patient when using Sdcards to flash any miner, I tried a few till I found one that works great, I don't know why but those miners are very picky about what Sdcard they like, also make sure you are copying the files in the main directory of the Sdcard, follow the steps by Bitmain very closely it should work.

Actually, it's not very picky most of the SD cards right now on the market are fake with fake volumes I have experienced this before when saving photos and videos and half of my files are corrupted that is why I end up using a tester/scanner SD card tool to know the problem and half of the total volume is fake.

I search about this issue on how to fake that volume and end up registering on a hackforum with a guide on how to make a 1GB SD card into a 2GB SD card this method is spreading and I think this is the reason why we have a fake SD card.

So only use authentic SD cards like Sandisk or Authentic Samsung SD cards. Don't buy those very cheap SD cards on the market almost all of them are fake with fake volume.
2830  Other / Meta / Re: No, the forum server did not go down. on: June 21, 2022, 10:18:24 PM
I haven't experienced any issue recently even on accessing other websites maybe not all people are affected by this outage and based on the status there are still rerouting servers.
If anyone knows good usable alternative for Cloudflare in 2022 please post it below.

The only two options that I know and experienced before are Aws CloudFront and Sucuri but I mostly use Cloudflare because it's free and there are many guides that you can find on Google.
2831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any resources to do your own on-chain analysis? on: June 21, 2022, 10:00:16 PM
There is only two option that I know best for on-chain analysis both of them are already mentioned above cryptoquant and glassnode.
Since you are asking for learning resources I would like to share this link below to learn more about FA(Fundamental analysis) with on-chain data.

And take note that the link above is not only about on-chain analysis you can also learn about technical analysis and other trading strategies including all tools that you can use for free and paid.
2832  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a global currency ? on: June 21, 2022, 03:09:45 PM
Bitcoin is globally used as a cryptocurrency or digital money and since it's virtual money and there is no physical bitcoin you shouldn't call it a currency because it's a cryptocurrency.

And I think in some countries bitcoin is currently banned so it's not yet globally used. Maybe in the future, if bitcoin wasn't banned in all countries.
2833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which exchange has less hassles in terms of multiple verifications? on: June 21, 2022, 01:19:34 PM
Why not use Binance over the other exchange?
In my experience after KYC, I never experienced any hassles using their service including p2p trading.
Unless you are living in the US? Binance US is very strict on policies compared to their Binance.com domain.
Be careful on using Kucoin if you are planning to trade there without KYC because you won't be able to withdraw without passing KYC verification. I heard someone experienced this and never solve his issue with a large number of funds under his account.

Actually all exchanges have strict policies if you want to avoid them then the only solution is to use P2P exchange that doesn't need any KYC verification.

Check this link below for no KYC exchanges.

2834  Other / Meta / Re: Trouble posting images? on: June 20, 2022, 11:53:40 PM
You can without having an account with them. I don't know why it was asking you for having the account.

I don't think so, I can even use the tool without having an account.

I think that is why he said he can't upload images without an account in imgur maybe he is trying to upload images through the phone which is no option or upload button when accessing the Imgur through a mobile phone.
But if he downloaded the imgur app he can able to upload without registering. On the PC when accessing the website the +New post button is there unlike on the phone.
2835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: pine script bot for paper trading? on: June 20, 2022, 11:42:44 PM
Looking at information wundertrading has more options than 3commas but dont think it supports paper trading

I search a bit and both of them support paper trading but I never heard wundertrading before so I end up checking it through whois and this is what I found.

Code:
Domain:wundertrading.com
Registrar:GoDaddy.com, LLC
Registered On:2022-02-14
Expires On:2023-02-14
Updated On:2022-03-01

It is newly registered and I don't think it would be a good idea to use their service with your real account using API it is not safe to use unlike 3commas which is already tested by many people here on the forum.

Check the 3commas paper trading here "3commas Demo Mode"

If you are looking for more list of Bots then check this https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278392
2836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: pine script bot for paper trading? on: June 20, 2022, 11:22:38 PM
I do not know exactly what is pine script but based on Google it is a programming language made by TradingView so the script only can be used on TradingView.

Why not try other bots like Zenbot since you have two strategies that you want to try live I think Zenbot has backtesting.

Check their Github here https://github.com/DeviaVir/zenbot
Then use the search button under that repo. To find the guide about backtesting.
2837  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Red light on s9j on: June 20, 2022, 11:04:30 PM
It could be a control board if the SD card flashing.
But how about the firmware you downloaded? What exact source where you downloaded the SD card image?

Ok I’m saying it’s a bad board or a firmware issue, I’m thinking of selling it or sending it to someone to be diagnosed and possibly fixed. Is there anyone that could diagnose these for a reasonable cost?

2838  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do real traders care about bear & bull market? on: June 18, 2022, 11:47:04 PM
Day trading is not easy you need to wait for an opportunity to buy at a low price and sell a little profit when the price rises a bit.
Just like like today as sample image below.

If you bought BTC at around $17k and then sold it at around $19k you already made around 9% to 10% but the problem it is not worth it if you only have a small investment in trading you can only notice your profit if you have big amount of funds in your portfolio. And you should be ready for the price drop and set a stop limit before you lose more profit.

The only difference between a bear and bull market is that you can only get a small profit in a bear market unlike in a bull market you can make more profit and you do not worry about price drops because you HODL and wait for another price rise to cover loses.

2840  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Fall Below The Previous 20k ATH possible? on: June 17, 2022, 11:58:37 PM
Bitcoin is too volatile no one knows what will be the price of Bitcoin and this is not yet the right time to decide if $20k is the bottom price of Bitcoin.
Bitcoin blockhalving is a good time to invest lo because if you know the Bitcoin price history you should notice that thing.

Check the chart from this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_bitcoin then scroll down.

As you can see Dec 2017 reach the highest price of around $19k and the price dropped last December 2018 to around $3.3k so I don't think that $20k is the bottom price so there is still a big possibility that the price of Bitcoin this year will drop more. I'm not FUD it is just my own analysis based on Bitcoin price history.
