2822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: April 24, 2016, 11:38:08 AM
I feel like the reason behind people get more and more addicted to gambling is because they've got friends in the casino and they sort of make the casino as their meeting place. They consider playing cards and gambling as their 'hang-out'. Just the peer pressure of your friends, basically, of gambling makes it so addicting.
Thats why a casino want to hire a friendly moderator who has good communication skill and can guiding the players patiently, so its comfortable for players to play there. But I'm not sure thats the reason why gamblers become addicted, since the only thing they want is profit, not a friend Cheesy

Well, in psychology if a human being feels safe in a place, then he'll come back again for sure. If they have a friendly mod then a lone gambler can finally have a "friend". And of course, that "friendly moderator" isn't just friendly. There's a manipulation going on there. If the mod is a girl, she might flirt with guys and if the mod is a man, then he can do some manipulation stuffs with girls. As simple as that. Just an intuition, though. I don't own a casino so I'm not sure.

You are still gambling because you want to capture the feeling of excitement all over again, when you are gambling you are very much alive your heart beats fast very fast and you are very ecstatic when you win,so you will come back again and again to capture those  feelings and you don't care whether you win or lose..
You only realize it when you lost at the end. In the middle of gambling there is really a feeling of excitement that sometimes you cannot control yourself. The demon always dictates us to bet more to win more, and in the end we lost our winnings including our bankroll. It is really sad that we have to learn our lesson the hard way.

Simply put it like this, when you are in a winning streak it's like you're in a jail cell. The door is open and anytime you can leave. But you don't, because you thought it will stay open forever, and you thought you will still have a winning streak.

Then after some time, you lost all your money, you wanna get out of the jail cell, but you can't. It's now shut. You can't get out of the fact that you are now bankrupt.

I hope you guys get it 'coz my explanation skills is kind of bad. Cheesy
2823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: April 24, 2016, 11:26:50 AM
There might be a safe method to gamble. For example in sports betting, if you know someone who has the info about the fixed match/games, you can ask for details. I don't know if fixed match really does exist but if it does, then you can consider this an option to gamble safely.
I do sports betting most of my gamblers life, although I believe that there is a matched betting but we cannot really get the information from the inside. To win, just try to analyze the line if it is the real line or just a trap where most of the public failed. I am talking of the sucker bets.

Some people only bet when all of the forums like reddit and some threads here all have the same opinion about the game. They only bet when everybody thinks team XXX will win over team ZZZ. Well, that's one way of gambling safely. Although there's still some risk 'coz an inside job is always possible. Cheesy

Nevertheless, if most experts in sports betting thinks that team will win, you should bet on that because you wouldn't be the only one crying when you guys lose. Grin
2824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: April 24, 2016, 11:23:05 AM
I am not going to gambling in casinos as i know that their is only loss, but i use to bet on sports betting as i am doing like business buy for  $1 and sell $1.2 that much profit is enough, then it wont wreck my life but it is fixing my life.
That's good only small bettors can consider the gambling as a way of fixing their lives. Those high rollers they also lost big overall that is why it would ruin their lives, bad relationship with families and friend due to credits unpaid that was used in gambling hoping to win all back the previous losses.
Just gamble for fun and it would easy to accept for you if you lost. There is not reason to gamble if the result will wreck your life. There are other things like getting a legit job if you want more money. Just remember that there is no easy money in this world.

Also remember that not everybody can get a "legit job" Grin Maybe it's an option for you, but most bitcoin users (well atleast 50% from my POV) are here in the forum because they can't get a decent job in real life. Some people are doing signature campaign so they can afford college and get a day job later in life.

I am not going to gambling in casinos as i know that their is only loss, but i use to bet on sports betting as i am doing like business buy for  $1 and sell $1.2 that much profit is enough, then it wont wreck my life but it is fixing my life.
And you also could pick high odds, so with small bet on that, you would get nice profit if you win. Isn't it fun? Grin The only key is just gambling with amount of money you can afford.

I think you meant "The only key is just gamble with the amount of money you can afford to lose." Cheesy
2825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption and it's future. on: April 24, 2016, 11:16:48 AM
I did meet someone random in the SW UK who was a Bitcoin user. It felt a little strange to meet an actual live human who was a little like me.

LMAO. I've never met someone who uses btc nor someone who has ever visited bctalk forum in his life. People here are just not interested about making money in BTCTC. They're all like "lulz" "scam" "lame". I hope someday I get to meet someone who's active in this forum too.
2826  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Doubling Bitcoin? on: April 24, 2016, 11:14:29 AM
If you desperately want to double your money, don't invest it to any investment sites or any bitcoin doubler out there as it will result to you losing all your BTC. If you want to double it, then do trading or maybe wait for BTC's price to go twice the price when you bought your BTC.
I agree, but if you are desperately want to double your money i think you need to try gambling sites so that you can easily double your money, but you can easily lose also, For me if you want to double your money surely but not easily, you can try trading buy at low sell at high.

That's the key for trading but in trading alt coins, you've got to be with a group of experts so that you know what and when to buy and sell. It's hard to do trading if you're doing it alone 'coz most coins become dumped by most people after it pumped. Just a suggestion though, look for a group of experts first so that you know if what you're doing is right and also so that you can get advice from experts. Cheesy
2827  Other / Off-topic / Re: I will invest! on: April 24, 2016, 11:10:15 AM
Investing is in the overall experience good in my opinion, the only thing is that you need to find a trusted party to do this because you can get scammed easily.
I think its better to invest in a gambling casinos as a example because you can really see if they make profits because of the stats plus its also that you can see if its trusted already.

If you guys are interested in investing in a bitcoin gambling site, then I recommend GameBet.gg as they are just starting. There are some updates with their UI and stuff. They also have their own alt coin, too. If you guys want to know more, this is their thread. I'm not being paid for this post or smth. I'm just recommending a good site.
2828  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to invest your bitcoin? on: April 24, 2016, 11:06:26 AM
Trusted cloud mining is one of the great source for getting good ROI against your investment. And if your are going for big investment then go for hardware ! But take care before buying hardware as which type of power machine supports as SHA256, X11 etc.

Don't invest to cloud mining no matter what. Most of them becomes a scam after the long run. It'd be better if you invest in mining using hardware. You're gonna be needing a decent capital though in order to make it profitable.

Although if OP don't have enough knowledge about mining, OP can hold on to his BTC and wait for the BTC price to go up.

2830  Economy / Marketplace / Re: where can i invest my 1btc? on: April 24, 2016, 10:54:14 AM
suggest trusted site . thanks

LOL If you keep looking for a 'trusted site', you will only get scammed. There are tons of ponzi sites out there that promises stuffs like their investment site is running for 2 years already and will run in a lifetime. Don't fall victim for those kind of sites. All investment sites are scams. Even if they say they are trusted, don't trust them.

I recommend that you research about mining, not cloud mining but the one that uses hardware. If you have enough money to buy a decent mining rig, then it's the best investment for you. 1BTC I think is enough to buy some hardwares, but you should also save some money for the electricity charge. If you're interested in mining, look for a hardware here.
2831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: April 24, 2016, 10:49:14 AM
Actually the best investment is saving up your money. Don't invest your money to an investment site. It's probably just another ponzi scam. No matter how long it is running, or no matter how many years it promise to run, a ponzi scam will always be a ponzi scam.

So better keep your money than losing it after trusting some kind of 'investment site'. Grin

I think the best investment nowadays is buying Bitcoins for this current price and holding it for sometime , because it's expected that prices will increase soon, so it's profitable...

Buying bitcoins at 450 could be a bad thing, since you will have to recoup if the price comes into a decline.
When it was at 380 it was a fifty fifty percentage of change. But now i would try to get oil or focus on trading alts.

Perhaps he can wait for a few days or weeks in hopes of BTC price would go down to 430-440$ atleast. Then he can join the solid holders of BTC and wait for the super pump. Smiley

I dont think BTC price will go down, it can only go up...with current price btc mining isnt so profitable like before, and when rewards fall to half, it price has to go up...so investing now in btc and waiting for halving maybe would be good choice for invest....its my opinion

I kind of think the BTC price will not go down. But it's his choice, not ours. So let us let him decide.
2832  Other / Off-topic / Re: Show off your Vape gear on: April 24, 2016, 10:47:48 AM
IDK why people are buying kangertech subox, that vape being a variable type does not affect that much especially for cloud chasers. Try Evic mini or smth.
well if you use it to quit smoking, i think its great. my wife used the subox to quit smoking.

Subox is used for fashion here in my country. They think it looks good that's they buy it. It has display and buttons and stuff, but for me its atomizer together with subox isn't that good. I usually suggest full mech mods to people new to vaping. Full mech is better 'coz you only have to put on the battery and then fire. No need to calibrate the temperature for taste and stuff.

If you guys want to have a variable mod, I suggest trying Evic mini. Cheesy
2833  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: April 23, 2016, 02:28:30 PM
I invest in my education

Best answer so far. People here are all thinking about investing, trading, gambling, waiting for the megapump of btc price and stuff. They didn't think about education. Having a degree or a master's degree can save you from financial crisis. That 10BTC is just a little amount for you once you get a good job and get paid a lot. Also, education is the best investment in life. Because most jobs that pays a lot require a degree (atleast) and a very good skill.

We can't settle with bitcoin because we don't know the future of it. Even if it's future has been predicted by a lot of people as good, you still can't assure that your own personal journey in bitcoin will also be good. And also, if you grow up, you can't get pensioned because you had tons of bitcoins when you were younger. Time will come that you're too old to look at the computer. So better have a good education to have a better life. Cheesy
2834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for new dice game ? on: April 23, 2016, 02:17:29 PM
Why we don't have opportunity for speeding time of dice play, for example if you want to play 100 small bets why do i need whole minute for this job? Also we would be very happy if have chance to more influence on flow of automatic bets..For example if you losing, to automatic stop after default number is reached..Not when you lost everything..

There's this feature 'Stop betting when max bet reached' in BustaBit and in Primedice, that helps stop the bot from betting tons of money especially if you're doing martingale.

But anyway, if you can do some basic programming, you can easily do that 'after losing certain amount of money' in BustaBit. Not to advertise or smth, just my experience. I don't play on other betting sites that much. But I think there are dice sites that enables users to write their own script as well. Some dice sites might already have that in their auto-bet options. Cheesy
2835  Economy / Speculation / Re: BUY or SELL bitcoins ? What you prefer ? on: April 23, 2016, 02:07:16 PM
I've been holding on to my coins for some time now. And I just sold half of my coins, because we just reached 460$. I am planning to buy again once the price goes down to 440$-450$. I believe that this is just a minipump and that BTC price will go down sometime now and then pump again.

I like both when the time is right.
Right now is indeed a time for holding.
But the moment it reach 500 i am sure to sell a small stash to maximize my profit.

I hope you really would sell your BTC once it reached 500$. Some people are cocky. They say they'd sell their BTC when it reaches 450$, now that it reached 450$, they are waiting for 500$. Cheesy Cheesy
2836  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 23, 2016, 02:04:05 PM

Once you start gambling again when you're already rich, you tend to get more and more into gambling. Just like the old days when you weren't rich, you tried gambling 'for fun' until you got attached to it. You thought you can easily quit gambling because for you, you were just playing 'for fun', but when you try to stop gambling, you can't stop anymore. Cheesy

Anyways, do not start gambling even if it's just for fun if you don't want to get hooked up at it again. Probably you'll lose all your money eventually if you get addicted to gambling.

Not everybody gets completely addicted to gambling. You can gamble considering the money you spend on gambling in the same way you consider the price of a movie ticket. You know you probably will lose, but you enjoy having the chance.

Sure, if you have a problem with gambling it may be wise to not gamble but if you become "rich" it may be okay to keep majority of you money in a bank/somewhere safe and vow not to gamble it, and only gamble away a small portion.

Lucky are the people who can discipline themselves and not get hooked up into gambling. Smiley But still, I doubt it. Considering the peer pressure from your friends in the casino, I doubt that they will not push you to withdraw you "saved" money from the bank. Just an IMO, though. Cheesy
2837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Idea for new dice game ? on: April 23, 2016, 02:02:32 PM
can they make enough dummy account to win the odds? The solution to solve the problem is quite easy I have to say: captcha(quite ineffective), prohibit VPN, proxy, or you can combine with mail verification to make sure there wont be any dummy accounts.

Mail verification might work but I think phone verification is much better because apparently, one person can hold tons of gmail accounts.

But if the giveaway is considerably low to the point that making dummy accounts wouldn't be worth the effort, that shouldn't be a problem for the owners. However given that if the giveaway is considerably low, that wouldn't attract many gamblers at all.

If it's considerably low then there's no point in hiring a programmer for an automated giveaway because it wouldn't lighten the gamblers' mood at all. Like, if a gambler just lost all his money. And then he got chosen as a 'lucky' winner of the giveaway that has a prize that is considerably low, that might just piss the gambler. Thus, making him leave the site completely. Just an IMO though. Giveaways should be helpful in getting back what a gambler has lost.

2840  Economy / Economics / Re: what caused the increase in price of Bitcoin? on: April 23, 2016, 01:49:32 PM
The pump that's happened in these past days is because people are starting to fill in their stash. Basically, getting ready for the big pump in the future. Smiley

I think the cause of pump is the people buy bitcoins and use its. like the demand and the less of bitcoin the more it will be demand and the price per bitcoin will rise. And lets apply tradings the more buy the more it pumps i think thats the factor will bitcoin prise rise and as we can see now. Let see the future price rise.

That's basically what I said. I just said it in lesser words. Roll Eyes
