2841  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 10:47:01 AM
How can they claim co-sovereignty when they are a lapdog state of the EU?

Why wouldn't they do that? Gibraltar is nothing but a mere English colony. And now that England is no longer in EU Spain is stronger.

Pax Americana.

America can't say anything at what's happening in EU. France has 7 nuclear submarines with 150 nukes on them. It makes it impossible for USA to interfere in European business in a military way.

And as a good article said:
You've gambled with my generation future, I've got the right to be angry.

Voting remain was gambling with your future.
Voting leaving was gambling with your future.
Not bother voting at all was gambling with your future.

Listening to the young generation and accepting their overwhelming decision maybe? Roll Eyes
2843  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 10:07:09 AM
Can't anyone understand that any agression towards Spain wouldn't result in a Spain - UK conflict but in a EU - UK conflict. And EU has nuclear power and doesn't need USA agreements to use it.

Spain would be the aggressor if they tried to take Gibraltar by force, defying the rule of law as defined by a 400 year old treaty.

It's not going to happen.  Get over it.  Britannia and America rule the waves, not Brussels.

And that's mainly to prove the contrary that an agression over Gibraltar might be an excellent point.

That wouldn't even be an agression. Just a "wanna go? Ok but we keep that, we need it more".
2844  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuel prices are down since Brexit on: June 26, 2016, 10:02:27 AM
In the long term, the prices will go down. The pre-tax price of gasoline in the UK is around £0.324 per litre. After taxes, it rises to £1.08. This means that around 70% of the price is made up of taxes, a significant part of them due to the European Union. Once the EU membership is cancelled, the tax burden will be reduced and the prices will go down.

Totally false. This is the kind of BS that makes people actually believe leaving EU is good...

The minimum taxation of oil is fixed by EU, mainly in order to reduce its consumption. But the UK and ONLY the UK keeps the money from this taxation. And we can't really say government can afford reducing its incomes when you see its commercial or financial balance...
2845  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 1.1m+ GB resident demand for second EU referendum. on: June 26, 2016, 09:55:58 AM
Second referendum?? sounds like a phrase from a bad loser.

Lol... forget about the second referendum. It is never going to happen. There was all sort of scaremongering and below the belt tactics from the Bremain loonies for the first referendum, and yet they lost it by a 7% margin in England. Even if there is a second referendum, the results are going to be the same, although the margin can be slightly different (5% or 9% in favor of Brexit).

Where do you get your figures? 7% margin? 40% of youth voted for BRexit?

They won by a 3,8% margin. And seems I'm not the only one insulting here Roll Eyes
2846  Other / Politics & Society / Re: VOTE BREXIT on 23 June, UK on: June 26, 2016, 09:49:13 AM
I don't understand your post. We "oldies" voted for Brexit because we can see the way the world is going. We are aware that there is more to life than Facebook.

No. You oldie are just too arrogant to even consider that the youngs have good reasons to keep faith in EU and don't even want to listen to those arguments...
I don't care, I'm not English. I just find it ridiculous to see this ugly gerontocracy at work.

I have a piece of advice for you. Stop whining. You lost the referendum by a big margin, and now get over with it. And please don't paint all the younger voters as pro-EU. 40% of them voted for Brexit (a simple majority of the native non-immigrant youth). I have noticed that you are hurling abuses and insults at anyone who does not agree with your views, since the referendum results came out.  Apply some burnol, and everything will be allright. And more importantly, let the Brits do whatever they want with their country.

That's for sure I'm at least whining as much as they're braging ^^
But I don't see why I wouldn't be affected. Not like the Britains decision won't affect the rest of the world.

It's not 40% you know, 72% of youngs voted remain.

And as a good article said:
You've gambled with my generation future, I've got the right to be angry.
2847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Direct democracy in US on: June 26, 2016, 09:39:25 AM
I don't think that direct democracy is good idea.
We can see it through many recent events.
In UK, most people voted based on emotions, not rational thinking.
They was cheated that leaving EU will means more money for their health care and no more immigrants.
Now, when they are finally aware what they did, they already collected 2 millions votes for new referendum.
Only politicians are qualified to make such hard decisions, because they know all facts and in direct negotiation can always make some good political deal or compromise.
They are, after all, direct legal representatives of their voters.

Yeah of course politicians showed they are much more effective and reliable at making hard decisions ><

Maybe people in UK voted like shit because they were angry and not used to vote for important subject. Direct democracy should be put in place and learned by the people. With time they'd learn to make careful long term decisions, knowing their vote will be important contrary to what's currently happening. (what was the last time you voted and it was important?)
2848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 26, 2016, 09:36:16 AM
Pff...

You do understand that UK army is shit compared to France plus Germany? And are you even aware that France got tactical nukes too? But that it doesn't need the agreement of USA to use it (contrary to UK).

EU is a military alliance before anything else. Try to attack Spain and your country will be destroyed before you can think about it again.

The British army is shit, but the Spanish army is even worse. And additionally, the Brits have nuclear weapons and the Spaniards don't even have thermobaric bombs. However, there is a geographic advantage to Spain. Gibraltar is located in the Western Mediterranean, and it will be difficult for the Brits to move their troops to Gibraltar.

Can't anyone understand that any agression towards Spain wouldn't result in a Spain - UK conflict but in a EU - UK conflict. And EU has nuclear power and doesn't need USA agreements to use it.
2849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The destruction of the UK has started on: June 26, 2016, 12:40:47 AM

We don't need countries. The smaller they are, the less power they have, the better for the people!
I see your point but I must disagree here. We need countries,  and big ones.
What we don't need on the other hand, are governments. And country doesn't mean full power government in theory Wink
2850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Fuel prices are down since Brexit on: June 26, 2016, 12:06:31 AM
Fuel down in price gives the goods transporters a smaller profit, instead of laying truckers off work, maybe now they will employ some more drivers.
Cheaper fuel means cheaper food does in not, well it should be.
Anyhow, since the oil went bottom dollar a few months ago, they never did change the VAT, fuckers should have compensated for that.

With the pound dropping, it makes for cheaper export of British goods also, thats a win too.

What is with imports?

With imports its is more expensive, the trade off with the dollar or Euro, if the pound is lower than them, then to buy from abroad is more costly.
You may say its swings and roundabouts, if the pound is higher at any moment, then goods that are imported get more expensive to buy.
So with a low £ its cheaper when some one imports from the UK , but not the other way around.

How much does the UK exports vs what it imports?

It imports more than it exports. Which means UK won't benefit from the drop, rather the contrary.

But anyway, people are too dumb to see on the long term, they're just happy to see the first positive effects...
2851  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The destruction of the UK has started on: June 26, 2016, 12:03:00 AM
I don't think anyone English will give a toss if it Scots leave. They have a budget deficit of 10% of GDP and the English taxpayer has to plug the gap.

However for that very reason the Scots are unlikely to leave - it is not as though the EU will give them money to plug their budget gaps.

Same goes for Northern ireland. 26% of NI's GDP is made up of public spending by the English. Again England would cheer if they left, but that is the very reason they won't leave.

And so the UK soldiers on for another 300 years.

Another heavy mistake of capitalists, they only consider as valuable what directly profits to their wealth, they don't give a damn about indirect actions they're too lazy and greedy for that...
2852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The destruction of the UK has started on: June 26, 2016, 12:01:16 AM
Much of the remain vote was from people who were either scared or in it for the money the EU was supposedly giving them which is why many University Students and Scientists voted for them.

Yeah it can't be because they have some faith in international exchange and cooperation, definitely for the money Roll Eyes
2853  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 25, 2016, 11:58:18 PM
Isn't everyone getting a little ahead of themselves predicting nuclear war here?

Yup. Especially as most of the european countries are underfunding their defence budgets and begging the UK to send troops to defend against the wicked Russians.

No-one has sided with Spain over Gibraltar for over 300 years...

AHAHAHA REKT.

These witless Millennials are the worst, no how bad "old fags" like Corbyn may be.

They're all "But muh EU  Cry  we need it to promote environmental and social and economic justice and stawp global woarming and racism!!1!  Cry"

 Cheesy

Someone regretting thatcher can't even understand the concept of ideology...

France won't and German can't?
You think after UK leaving the EU members won't answer a call of arms from a member against UK?

Come, if you want war it's easy to go. EU was here to prevent war, so war seems like the only real possibility after leaving.

And if you like facts so much go check this ranking and tell me again that France plus Germany plus Spain is not enough to put UK back to its place.
http://www.globalfirepower.com/countries-listing-europe.asp

German armed forces are neutered, per their post WW2 constitution.

France has no national interest in helping reclaim Gibraltar.  Doing so would be against it, as it goes against the principles of diplomacy to assist Spain in reneging on their perpetual concession.

UK's Navy is top notch; Thatcher saw to that after the (relative) difficulty of retaking the Falklands.

Spain's Navy would quickly join its antecedent Armada on the seafloor, in Davy Jones' Locker.

Comparing Falklands to a fight against whole Europe... That's why old people shouldn't vote.

"Whole Europe" would not help Spain go back on its word, in violation of longstanding Treaty.

Of course, Whole Europe including France wouldn't have ANY interest in putting UK back on it's Island, showing strength of the EU, keeping the only access between Mediteranean see and Atlantic ocean inside the EU Roll Eyes

I absolutely don't see any interest here ><

Isn't everyone getting a little ahead of themselves predicting nuclear war here?

Lol, I was simply answering to the completely stupid comment of the Thatcher old fag lover suggesting the nuking of Spain ^^

Of course the idea is completely ridiculous. But an armed conflict... Well it might happen.
2856  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Most Popular & Trusted Bitcoin Game | Huge Community | Free BTC on: June 25, 2016, 10:32:27 PM
It looking mission impossible to hunt 4.44 or 44.44 for current giveaway from yesterday till now but not get succeed to get this roll, anyway it is nice to roll dice on PD while chat with other players so that o posted my entry without any roll id but will post later when i will have this.

Just like me, I also tried it for few minutes with manual roll (because on mobile) so I need to click each bet ID to see rolled numbers but have no luck yet.
Need to play on PC to see the rolled numbers directly without clicking the bet ID. Hope for the next update, players are able to see the betID on mobile browser.
That would be really awesome if the full Primedice version will also be available on mobile devices. Is there anyway a reason why the mobile version isn't the same as the desktop version.
Mobile screen is smaller that's why it isn't like the desktop version, stunna/micro will there be an official app of pd in future?

We need to enable players to play while on the go and to have experience with no compromises!
And we will do that Wink .

Looking forward a mobile app Wink

what is gibraltar's status? is it a full part of the uk or a crown dependency like the channel islands?

Quote
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar

An Anglo-Dutch force captured Gibraltar from Spain in 1704 during the War of the Spanish Succession on behalf of the Habsburg pretender to the Spanish throne. The territory was subsequently ceded to Britain "in perpetuity" under the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713.

Gibraltarians overwhelmingly rejected proposals for Spanish sovereignty in a 1967 referendum and again in 2002. Under the Gibraltar constitution of 2006, Gibraltar governs its own affairs, though some powers, such as defence and foreign relations, remain the responsibility of the Government of the United Kingdom.

FYI, "in perpetuity" means "forever" not "until we change our minds."

Case closed.

If Madrid.gov wants to create conflict over Gibraltar as a distraction from their own sorry state of affairs, they will enjoy the same measure of success as the Peronistas did with the Falklands.

Comparing Falklands to a fight against whole Europe... That's why old people shouldn't vote.
2858  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 25, 2016, 10:29:13 PM

You do understand that UK army is shit compared to France plus Germany?

Yah, that's what the corrupt warmongering regime in Argentina told their people when they decided to invade the Falklands.

How's that working for the Peronistas?

How's that working for all the dead sailors at the bottom of the sea rotting in the wrecked Belgrano?

France won't, and German can't, do anything about Spain's hilarious request to annex Gibraltar, any more than Morocco can take the islands off its coast from Spain.

You can accept history, or you can deal with this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Navy_Submarine_Service#Active_submarines

Spain's armed forces are great at pushing around Africans.  Beating Her Majesty's armed forces and reversing 400 years of UK sovereignty?  Not so much....

France won't and German can't?

I'm rather interested. PM me.

The main point is that it would be cool to have some kind of guarantee that you're going to use this money to pay the tipsters.
Your account is really new so... Well I wouldn't be really at ease at just sending you the money ^^
2860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: provably fair gambling sites? on: June 25, 2016, 10:21:00 PM
I am confused as to why so many bitcoin gambling sites say "provably fair"

How do we prove an online game of luck is fair when we can't view the source code?  When they say you have a 50% chance of winning how do you know it is not really 10%? Maybe I am missing something here Huh

It's a bit complicated but you can prove it. The point is if a site says it's provably fair, you don't need every user to check. You just need one Wink
