I would say that this comparison of Bitcoin with gold is wrong because to my opinion these are two completely different categories. And saying that Bitcoin is new gold probably isn't meant literary, more to get picture od the value for the users.
Anyway, Bitcoin is risky as any other investment, you haven't to count on volatility all the time and that from time to time you could face possible losses. No one hasn't ever guaranteed that Bitcoin will bring only and exclusvely profit. Afterall, the choice is always yours and it isn't good to blaim others for wrong estimations and decisions.

I agree. My advice to everyone is to keep up, don't give up because of this bad phase. We are all very well aware that volatility is inevitable and it doesn't always go to our favour.
But I'm sure Bitcoin has brought so many good to many of us, this is the technology of the future that will not vanish despite occasional issues. So, be patient, market will recover and at the end you will be happy for keeping your coins long enough.

This situation now on market looks bad, I have to admitt, but still I don't believe that Bitcoin price will drop as low as 1500$ or even lower. If this happens this would be like the very begininig again.
But currently the phase of panic selling has become and everything is possible. But no matter the scenario that will happen I will stay with Bitcoin and I still deeply beleive the price will recover.
At the end it turns out that this year has become more crucial for Bitcoin that we might have imagined.

People get panicked easily and then they make reckless decisions. That is the one reason and the other is that some of them have invested funds that they actually need and can't wait long enough for price to recover.
Anyway, I can understand all these reasons but I wouldn't suggest to anyone to sell and suffer the loss, that is the worst thing you can do.
Maybe currently doesn't look so but the price will recover, you just have to have enough patience.

I think we have come to the phase of panic selling. Many couldn't take the pressure of falling market, as often in similar situations.
Still I beleive that we have to keep calm and wait for this price dump to finish. Now it's hard to tell when this negative trend will be over because it's looks like the price is sinking endlessly but I still beleive in Bitcoin recovery.

It's not easy to make money in current situation but maybe this shouldn't be your primarily focus at the moment.
Right now you should buy more coins because of convenient price and get prepared for the future. This situation will not last forever and the market will change for better whit much better conditions for making money. You just have to be patient and get through this unfavourable phase.

Personally, I do. And to my opinion many "old" Bitcoiners who are very long time involved in Bitcoin still have faith in Bitcoin. The reason for that is they have other interest in Bitcoin, not just profit.
Those who have quickly lost faith in Bitcoin are newcomers whose only interest is profit and they are not interested in philosophy, technology and way of life that Bitcoin represents. When you support something you know there will be good as well as bad times and you accept that.

I.think it's good time for buying. Price is relatively low, maybe even goes down a bit. On the other hand don't buy if you expect some huge profit in the near future because some bigger price rise will not happen so soon.
This is the period, and the next few months will probably will be the same, when the fluctuations in price will be relatively small and you will be able to earn something but this will not be big profit.
If you want to stay for longer period involved with Bitcoin, then buy. For short term investment, don't.

I don't know what do you consider to be big drop.
This time price droped quite in relatively short period of time so we can say that it's more than just correction. But I don't think it's a reason to panic but good opportunity for buying more Bitcoins and if you can, do so. And I don't think that even bigger drop will come.

I will say that only newcomers in Bitcoin and those with poor experience are actually disappointed. Everyone else knows that volatility comes along with Bitcoin and that price can't be on the rise all the time. Disappointed are only those who have expected to see 20000$ Bitcoin price by the end of this year. But those were all unrealistic expectations that must have ended in disappointment.
But some of us have different view on current situation and are not taking it in so tragic manner.

You should definetely stay calm, that is the best thing you can do. Of coir, sometimes when you invested a lot that isn't the easiest thing to do but with panic and reckless decisions you could only make situation worse.
If you have any experience then you are aware that this is not the first or last such situations when the market is falling. As well you know that it will recover eventualy, it's the question of time.
Don't listen to different panic predictions and don't bother with price too much and you will be fine.

Volatility is happening, nothing strange. But it looks like everyone is forgetting about volatility when the price is on rise and when dump starts everything is questioning what is going on.
Bitcoin price will not always be on your favour and there will be times when you will face possible loss. You just have to be flexible enough so that you can adjust the market and react properly otherwise it might turn that Bitcoin isn't the right choice for you.

I agree that majority of Bitcoin users just want to escape form governmental influence and that Venezuela is best example for failure.
Still I beleive that not every attempt of governments to interfere is bad. Positive regulation is something that could really help Bitcoin and users and doesn't have to mess with centralization.

I can't see the purpose of such posts except to spread the panic. Of course that everything is possible with Bitcoin price but so far there are no indicators that would point to such big dump. And as far as panic selling is concerned we can see that now already.

To my opinion there is no book or youtube tutorial that will actually teach you how to trade. Of course it's good to know some theory and you have to collect some informations before you start to trade but you will become an expert only when you gain your own experiences.
You have to feel some profit, losses, good and bad experiences on your own skin and that will teach you how to act in similar situations in the future and how to avoid mistakes.

It's hard to say, market is kind of unpredictable at the moment. To my.opinion some further corrections are possible but I don't think the price will go under 4000$. Such situation of ups and downs in price might continue untill the end of this year. Some kind of price recovery and some maybe more significant price rise we can't expect before of the begininig of the next year. But I'm always an optimist and hope for the best.

I bought my first Bitcoin back in 2013. Bitcoin was not so popular, the price was not so high and not many people beleived in Bitcoin.
But for me this was a whole new world that I discovered and it really helped me to improve my financial situation. Soon I quit buying Bitcoin and started earning and that was even better.
It wasn't always everything ideal.and I also made some wrong decisions and had some losses but that didn't scared me, I learned a lot along the way and Bitcoin was and still is really good thing in my life.

And what is this analisys telling us? That volatility and price dumps are usual and normal part of Bitcoin cycle. The conclusion is that there is no reason to panic and drama, the price will recover as usualy.
Of course, the question is at what time and how high the price will go again but it's important for users to remember that dumps are inevitable and you have to count on them when dealing with Bitcoin.

I have the feeling that many people have totaly wrong picture of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. They are only supporting it when the price is on the rise and when the price goes down some claim that Bitcoin is scam, bubble, that is going to disappear from the market and that they were fooled. Actually I don't understand such way of thinking.
Cryptocurrencies are volatile and risky and the moment you invested in Bitcoin you took that risk. But no one didn't force anyone to invest and no one didn't promise only profit and price rise. So, get yourself together or give up Bitcoin, maybe it's not for you at all.

I'm very curious how did you get to the conclusion that the bull run will start exactly on next Monday. Since you haven't given any reasonable explanation I really doubt this will happen as you described.
There are so many predictions here with different theories about next bull run but none of them convinced me. In fact so mamy different circumstances of the market should come together to initiate real bull run but I can't see that coming.
