2841  Economy / Economics / Re: Understanding a bear market. on: June 01, 2021, 12:12:38 PM
We should also prepare ourselves for a long bear market because the bull this year was so strong so I also believe that we will go back from where we started, it could be deeper.

Completely disagree. This bull cycle has been the result of increased adoption. Particularly institutionally. I don't think we will see a prolonged bear market because of the success we are seeing in this bull market.
Well no one really knows about what will happen next we can speculate but we cannot really point out any exact date on when crypto rise or fall maybe it will fall in a short time and rise again and become partially stable. Everything is unpredictable we need patience not speculation.

But as long as we can see the market is on good shape we can speculate that we possibly got a good future with bitcoin. But although your right that we doesn't know on what will happen but aslong as we can see more people hype or share some positive news about crypto well maybe we doesn't need to worry about the bitcoins price in future.

Quote
A lot of people are even buying fake identity to get their accounts verified so be careful @roobet because someone can pay a few bucks and get KYC done from them.
mind mate that the action like this will bring you to more losses mate.because gambling site will find all this surely.
-snip-
I see it the same way. It is probably quite easy to register this way, since the checks to ensure that the data is basically valid (and not stolen) are probably not as thorough as, for example, when opening a bank account.

However, it definitely becomes problematic when you want to withdraw a (larger) amount. They will definitely take a closer look and if a stolen identity is discovered, the funds will be frozen and you will never see your coins again. Therefore, if you want to use Roobet, you should enter your real data, which saves a lot of time and trouble in the future.
Never enter fake data about your KYC if you have the intention of using the site in the future or else the funds will get stuck it will no longer accessible due to the silly mistake no matter the money involved is small or large, don't do that.

That's the dumbest decision what people made since imagine how risky it is to do that since we are not dealing fake money upon playing so its good for new entrants to write up their correct details even if the casino didn't ask the KYC identification since there will be time that we will be required to submit it and we will  really be in big trouble if we do that since we cannot verify the ownership of our account if we do this things on our  account.

2844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Singapore Police Say Crypto-Related Crimes Keep Rising across the Country on: May 31, 2021, 09:32:57 PM
In my opinion, there is nothing surprising in this. Since the popularity of cryptocurrency causes the growth of the community, for 100 normal people there will definitely be some person with similar inclinations and therefore it is natural that there is a growth, but judging by the numbers, there are not so many such cases. There is dynamics, but in reality it is a drop in the sea of real crime, it is strange that this is emphasized.

Criminals are just using the fame of thus new introduced opportunity to the newbies thats why they grab the opportunity to fool them by offering them some service which can give a huge profit if they invest their money unto them. This is not new and so expect that the crime will rise since scammers have high guts since they are actually almost traceable if they do crime.

Hi Community!

I have had always have the urge to check the current bitcoin price and trends, first thing in the morning

I always thought of using a newsletter service that could send me email updates regarding latest bitcoin trends and comparison

Failure to find a service like this, I created my own and now sharing it with the community

Link- https://coinmail.cc/

Let me know if this looks any useful

Note- I added a subscription charge of $5/month to pay for the server costs. But, you can get the latest feed using the 'receive free sample' button, if you'd like to give it a try

Thanks!

For any questions, concerns, thoughts, You can add you comments here as i'll read all of them

It will just add spam on our inbox and I don't actually like this spam things on my email eventhough its the email regarding on updates about the current price of bitcoin.

Maybe you should think another type of service since for sure many users doesn't want to receive spam its kinda waste of time deleting them in our inbox.
2846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: May 31, 2021, 11:47:50 AM
I forget Peter June Simon had already retired from PBA.
https://pba.ph/news/simon-welcomes-pingris-to-retirement-life

It seemed like the time flies now, what do we expect next, James Yap retiring?

These 3 are great teammates back in the day with San Mig Mixers.
If we will see James Yap playing this bubble which is I think that he will then we might see this year as his final year of playing.

His contributions to the team are very low right now. Its quite hard to say this but I think that he might need to give his slot too to other young players like others did as well. I don't know how many years he will be playing base on his contract but if this year will be the last then he might retire after this conference.

Bubble games really is hard because you will not see your family personally for months. That is one of the reasons too why some of the older players retired this year already aside from the fact that they can't contribute that much anymore.

James Yap is 39 years old, there are older players than him that are still active in the PBA, and he did not give a hint that he will retire, maybe he is still enjoying, and I what I can see, he is still fit and could deliver.

We have Caguioa, Hugnatan, and Raffy who are still active, they are already in their 40s.
Since we aren't seeing any signs of him retiring this year, he might be useful in the ROS as his experience might help these young players and possible that he might mentor some new players too that will come in the team.

Its quite happy to see that even though their ages are 40, they can still play and run in the court like they are in their young 30's Smiley. Maybe they are inspired of what Taulava did where he is still playing even though he is 47 years old although he retired already.

39 is young knowing PBA's retirement age is at above 40 if they are star and can able to produce on their team but in the case of James for sure he has many years to roll out and ros still need his service for better rooster rotation on their campaign. But I think Caguioa I think he will retire soon he doesn't have any to prove and he's prime is already over.
2847  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Alien World - Blockchain game on: May 30, 2021, 12:13:20 PM

2021 on: May 28, 2021, 09:37:48 PM

Then 2018 nagsimula mag crash..

2849  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: May 28, 2021, 12:16:47 PM

For a gambler, of course they will rely on strategy to win in that luck and they believe that with strategy and discipline, the victory can be achieved. I have even seen it in some Duelbits contests and even winning that means they rely on strategy not just luck.
Remember that those who say luck are only ordinary people who are in a gambling round if they have been in the game for a long time and have a career there, of course they will know what a good strategy is, so in that gambling game with a bigger club it is normal and many people win.

There can be some strategy when playing house games like Dice or Crash, but when playing third party slots there is simply no strategy. It all depends on luck.

Not all slots work the same way for gambling a lot depends on luck again if there is no knowledge of game strategy and game. Fate will be able to do nothing but fall into more risk therefore, without relying on luck game sites need to be analyzed and its strategies need to be learned there is no guarantee that you will win all the time. It is possible to win if you can master good techniques..
So when a person has skills, strategy, and luck, that will surely make him winning and maybe he can have a big chance to hit the jackpot.
But in gambling games base on luck, we really need to have luck because that is one factor that can determine us to win.
Even if you have good strategy and skills, it is not easy to win if you do not have luck.
So you need to think twice about playing the gambling game base on luck or skills and make sure you know how to play that game and know how to manage your money.
Sometimes we don't need all of that since mostly those things doesn't corellate together, if we follow our plan and stick with it for sure we will win even low amount. But if we doesn't follow to our written strategy for sure all of our winnings will be drain and maybe our capital to, its so hard to chase our winning back so to avoid this we need to be contented on the winnings we can get based to our target.
2850  Economy / Economics / Re: Three South Korean Banks Stop Working With the Nation’s Crypto Exchanges on: May 28, 2021, 10:16:05 AM
According to a report, three local banks in South Korea have stopped cooperating with the country's crypto currency exchanges. Such decisions by these banks regarding exchange offices are due to the strict and rigid regulatory environment of the country.
These banks include Woori Financial Group, KB and Hana.
Remarkably, Korean banks reaffirmed that South Korean regulation has largely created unfavorable conditions for crypto currency exchanges.
Under South Korea's new regulations, all crypto currency exchanges in the country must regulate their banking contracts for prosecution.
Of course, the new South Korean regulations have not yet been implemented in this regard and will enter into force on September 24, 2021.

Source: https://www.investing.com/news/cryptocurrency-news/three-south-korean-banks-stop-working-with-the-nations-crypto-exchanges-2516175

I will just treat this as a fud they used this korean issue before just to try the market to dump and after this they are using this again so I believe they want the market go drop again so that they can buy bitcoins at the cheapest rate. Hopefully people will get used to this kind of fud and will not try to listen on any of those spreading since if majority will just don't give a damn on those unsure issues maybe we cannot see bitcoin going to dip.
2851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto-Casinos and KYC on: May 27, 2021, 11:28:48 PM
This is true. The government want to control us to the maximum extent possible. In fiat casinos in almost 100% of the cases you have to pass KYC in order to be approved to play there. So far crypto casinos do not force you into this for small amounts, usually up to 0.01 Bitcoin which is better compared to fiat casinos.I don't think this will change anytime soon so crypto casinos are the way to go.
Only about to happen if you've done somewhat against to their TOS. But if you're clean and you know it, you'll be far to being asked for a KYC. There are gamblers that are from fiat casinos would agree to that, that the crypto casino are way better secure and good in keeping privacy.

Crypto gamblers are actually not used to it we see on the gambling threads complaining about why they have been ask to provide their informations. But since the crypto casino evolves and the market of it became wider the government want to regulate it. That's why its good for crypto gamblers to understand that this could possibly happen on the casino where they play so better choose the best casino to play so that their worried will be lessen regarding on future anomalies.
2852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon musk is for crypto or just for attention to boost Tesla, SpaceX? on: May 27, 2021, 12:59:31 PM
Elon is a smart guy, and there's no way he'd neglect totally the opportunity of making more money on buying the dip and for sure he'll hype it up again foe easy profits.
He did lose a lot of followers for being too smart.
If he is really that smart enough, he would make a better reason than just talking about Bitcoin as an environment disaster. I doubt he didn't know that before he bought it. Just like you said, he is a smart guy right?
I don't think he really give a fuck about cryptocurrencies, yes it's all just money and profits for him. Suddenly, he made cryptocurrencies as a new target for his manipulation. I'd be careful on what name he will suggest next time. The scary thing he might do is pull investors in a new cryptocurrency then leave it saying his sorry he made a mistake.
Elon Musk is just gathering as much information as he can so he can create his own cryptocurrency.
What are your thoughts about this revelation of all the nonsense he has been causing on twitter and with his massive number of followers who will certainly buy into his coin offering.
Doesn't sounds good if he create his own cryptocurrency since his coin will became a pump and dump scheme which he is the only one who can get a sure profit from this activities remember what he do on tesla stocks and this might provably happen if he want to create his own coin to.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/

Well its here

Musk bought in at $42k, rose it up to $66k, bailed at $50k, and now falling like a rock to $31k

So all the CORPORATE buy-in of BTC has now been lost.

40% loss of capitalization in just a few days, 500 BILLION US DOLLARS lost, and more to come. ( $1.2T is now $740B )

Next test is $10k

HODL on morons, suckers; The whales, and corporations are all heading for the exits, the bag-holders as always will be the HODL'rs

Enormous pressure will now be on BIDEN to make good on all the pensions and unions that bought into the COVID rise of BTC.
Glad that your assumptions turned wrong. I think you are a noob in this field. It is nothing new in btc and crypto market. We have seen some bigger crashes and bigger bull runs too.
This is a part and parcel of crypto life. If you get panicked, you better stay away.

We are cannot predict accurately on what will happen to the market so expect that many people will be wrong on what they though on what will be the next movement of the market. And gladly we are bouncing back again and so lucky for people who bought at the dip and not get panic on the situation.
2855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: May 26, 2021, 02:27:39 PM
I can't believe the Clippers are still choking. I thought they are an improved team this season but it looks like they are even worst than last season.

There are only a few teams who had won the series after getting down 2-0... can the Clippers be one of them?
Correct. Now 2 games in Dallas and it will a big plus for the Mavs with the crowd on their side this time.
I can't even see what's lacking in the Clippers team. They almost have the best defenders in all positions in the league.
Kawhi, PG13, Pat Beverley, Morris, Rondo and Ibaka and yet they keep on losing. If this goes with a sweep it will be a big disappointment in 2 seasons.
Last year was already a mess, they should not let this one be the worst of their performance.

Could it be that the high expectations is what makes them perform bad?

Maybe. I, personally expected them to disposed of the Mavericks in 5 games or 6 games the most and we tend to forgot that the Mavs is an improved team at the moment with the leadership of Luka.

I just wonder how much we have won if you are a Kawhi Leonard hater  Smiley.

I just don't know if the Clippers can recover in this series, they must win game 3 and it's not easy doing so as it is a pressure packed game for the Clippers.

Tim Jr, is the big difference in the Mavs and Clippers series, I really don't expect him to be this confident on his shot, he's good but during the series, he is the one who always makes the crucial shoot of the game, and each and every player on the Mavs roosters are always making good decisions, Luka and KP are unstoppable, while the clips are waiting for Leonard to score to carry the team, they are now in trouble if they don't win the 3rd game it's over.

The addition of Luka gives confidence to his teammates thats why we see a better version of Mavs right now, I wonder on where does this team would go as they are totally a good contender for this season. Hopefully they will not choke and can reach to finals since its a good game to watch if they face the stronger teams like Nets,Bucks and Lakers.
2856  Economy / Economics / Re: How to protect from inflation? on: May 26, 2021, 12:30:29 PM
Banks are a good protection to inflation but the problem is there is close to zero profits with banks so it's not a good thing to go that route for inflation protection, bitcoin can be a likely candidate but it's inherent volatility is going to be a problem for people that have weak hands. Real estate and gold could do the work just fine but the problem is that both are really expensive.
I think that gold and real estate is the best hedge for inflation followed by stocks and bitcoin and I don't like that you mention banks because they aren't client friendly and they have a lot of paperwork to do but give a meager interest. I do agree that bitcoin isn't a good hedge since the volatility is pretty high.

I agree with you, savings accounts at a bank are not very attractive  at the moment. For the last 5 years at least was the interest rate on the savings account below the inflation rate. On top of that are the bank fees rising. In my opinion going for banks is not a very attractive investment at the moment. The only real alternative are TIPS but these are treasury bonds and not really from the banks itself. So going for Gold and Crypto Currencies is the best way to protect ourself from inflation in my opinion.

Well if you let your money sit on the banks then we can expect that we will be affected on inflation since provably the returns given by the bank for over the years is so small compare to the market flux happening, but if your kinda right if you invest your money in profitable areas well possibly you cannot feel the inflation since your money is earning decently with those kind of investments you choose.

I think some respected DT members like Jollygood should make a post there, and warn everybody in general on the page who particpated for the campaign.
And if they decide to wear the signature, that they will receive a neg tag and that will not be removed.
Maybe that will help people to stay away from this scam and hopefull will result in people removing their participation.
He already warned people about 1xbit scammer many few posts above. About leave neg trust to anyone who promoted this scam site isn't a right thing. Trust isn't used for that as theymos has made 3 conditions how trust should be done.

Yeah its not the right thing to do but participants should consider how risky the platform they are promoting and its so selfish for anyone to gain from promoting a scam scite and imagine how big the damage can possibly bring in future if they let this site to promote here.

Well we should let the other DT users to decide about this since so far I didn't see any good thing happening in this thread.

Do you think it's possible that the Bitcoin price will follow Ethereum price in the future? When Ethereum becomes proof of stake and becomes deflationary, can it happen?

Try to analyze the movement of the market and you will find out that once bitcoin dumps everything will follow so expect that it will the same with ethereum to. Also before we can see that scenario what you said Eth should get a huge adoption or convence the bitcoin supporters to shift their investmenr unto them. But for now since bitcoin is the face of cryptocurrency I doubt it will happen.

If may puhunan ka naman, Mas better own team para atleast walang pressure sayo sa everyday quota and lahat ng gain mo for that day is sayo lahat.

Medyo risky if bibili sa tao tao mas okay if kakilala mo nalang bibilhan mo. So far if panget padin ung bigayan till dumating thunderdome balak ko na din sell mga item drops ko eh.
~100USD nalang ba murang axie ngayon?

Sobrang down nga ng market eh. Lugeng luge if ibebenta ngayon hahah. Pinakamagandang loot ko so far is basic explosive tsaka isang rare na crew.
