1961  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — How to choose a VPN for online games? 🔓 on: March 14, 2022, 12:05:35 PM
Bitcasino is one of the best casino I know I read some of your blogs and about the Ukraine donation and now information about the VPN, I haven't seen it in other gambling site where they give useful information to their players and other information. Thank you Bitcasino!
I have to agree they were the first casino that started the donation for Ukraine. I remember I got the email that said that bitcasino will match the donation made by players and on first thought I felt like it's a scam but then I realized that it was actually legit and real after clicking the link in that email.

After that their sister site sportsbetio also started the same I think, which was equally amazing. These are the times when you realize whether a casino is operating just to make money or are socially responsible as well. Kudos to the bitcasino team!
Indeed they were also the first one to have Ukraine national flag on the site to show their full support to the people. The casino could provide variety of games to you for entertainment and profit motives but helping the society in emergency crisis is what make them more reputed and apart from others. The way they have helped through donations and flag support is totally amazing.

Indeed its a good deed made by them to show support of Ukraine, but I do hope Russian government will not find this offensive and make this as a ground to ban them on their country and as well hopefully this will not add to the commotion made by cryptocurrency and take bad action on it.

This is indeed what make them a good platform because they are actively helping the society and they are not just there for business only, they exist to help a country who's in need of assistance.
1962  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin VS Oil VS Russia VS Ukraine on: March 13, 2022, 11:59:13 PM
The current event taking place in Ukraine have lead to scarcity of oil and inflation o commodities that needed oil...

But how does this events affects the price of bitcoin and crypto currencies in general since now Ukraine and people in Russia use crypto?

Are the government going to also sanction exchanges and wallet owners?

Please I need you guys views on this

There's no sanction happen towards wallet owners so far so you don't need to get afraid of this since so far exchange owners and wallet providers are neutral towards this issues. Also the only thing affect crypto on this situation is the possible crisis brought by this war that's why many people got afraid and immediately dumo to secure their profit or asset but as you can see those are short term only and now we can see thay bitcoin became stable and doing good right now.
1963  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa tingin niyo ano mas maganda? on: March 13, 2022, 11:02:30 PM

1964  Economy / Speculation / Re: Highest in history on: March 11, 2022, 12:13:23 PM
I became friends with an influencer. She is a person who is great at auditing projects but she doesn't charge any money, she works for the people and investors and not for the projects.

I agree that we cannot say that all people who do such work are doing something bad, there are always exceptions. If that person is helping you and others to be successful in their investments and is not yet asking for any compensation, then this is one of those exceptions.

However, all those influencers that I personally had the opportunity to see on YT are not worth anyone's time, let alone investments. If you understand Bitcoin at least at a basic level, no one has to tell you what will happen in 1 or 5 years - look back and you will easily understand in which direction we are going.

Or we can say that everyone is really here for the money, it's that simply. Just a handful maybe that will legitimate help you out. But I would say base on observation, majority of the influencers and the major motivation for them is to make money out of their subscribers, regardless of their experience. And usually those who are loud and making a lot of noise in YT doesn't have any experience at all, and yet they still have a lot of followers, short of just they are blatantly scamming others with their so called experts advise.

We can count only on fingers on how many of those influencers provides quality content to their subscribers and majority of them if not hyping a project sharing some unrealistic insights towards the movement of cryptocurrency. This is one of the reason why we need to help ourselves to research because this is the best way to know more better on what we are trying to do if we invest on crypto specifically with bitcoin
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 11, 2022, 10:41:19 AM

Casinos have done their part issuing warning to those who signed up and play, they have strong warnings against those who exceed time and pour a lot of money into their casinos, they even had features to protect their players but unfortunately, players will always find a way to ignore and get past those features, in the end, if they suffer from losses they will blame the casinos when everything is pointing to their own action.

Everybody wants to get a means to put their blames on the next person. Casinos don't really force people to come play with them but people want to make money or double what they have and they fall for it. They don't need to blame anyone if they don't have control of themselves to play and bet with what they can lose. There are warning in every casino or gambling platform about the risk to it and if the gambler is play beyond control then it is the fault of such player.

The urge for wanting more or earn quickly is one of the main reason why people choose to risk their money to play on some games and mostly those people who blame other about their losses are newbie one who just been hype by certain person who tells them that they can earn huge money by just simply playing the games. More influencer are hyping people and they show huge amount of money to their subscribers that's why many live in fantasies that they can have those wealth to if they play.
1966  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trending Ponzi Schemes (Scam) in Social Media on: March 10, 2022, 10:06:41 PM
Its not coincident this 3 page is created by same scammer since 3 try got better more chances to scam people so I guess its better to stay away on this classic scam since scammers always use that word earning by using your phone and other to good to be true profit to their prospects.

People should be reminded this that if its good to be true its not true simple words but can help us think good in our investment.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: March 10, 2022, 01:31:37 PM
Ethereum still the best chain since its proven secured and most adopted, but if you are worried about fees and network traffics since there are high volume of transactions made by its user maybe you can select Binance chain since this is also convenient for token creation and this one is mostly used by scam devs since its easy to create new tokens for using BNB chain.
1968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blame Game in gambling on: March 10, 2022, 11:36:33 AM
People now are aware of the technology and the internet so most of their parents now are leaving their children at an early age within their gadgets and by that, they can self-aware about the things on the internet such as gambling, the role of the parents must restrict their children and guide them because sometimes they don't know what's really doing of their child imagine at a very young age get addicted to the online gambling it's not suitable at the very young age. Better to help their child than blame each other because its about the mental health of the child.
Parenting these days needs to be extra vigilant compare to the traditional one, it's the time as well we've likely to have snowflake minded kids and can't even fathom a delayed gratification, they'd tantrum over silly things. We can't judge how they raise their child/Ren since we don't know ourselves what we will do in the future.

These internet age, you need to be techie as well and as far as I know there's a gadget to monitor every child and to filter out these bad actor apps and similar things like gambling. It's more like a filtering thing for what you can browse on a phone especially if it's for your child.

Childrens has a lot of access of everything over the net that's why its good for them to watch their child on what they are doing on internet because if they let them do whatever they want then provably this cases will still happen and worse their children will engage on illegal things at early age. Parents should explain and educate their child about huge risk and other things bothering in their mind because curiosity will always happen especially when children are misguided.
1969  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC dropping? on: March 10, 2022, 10:45:21 AM
Seeming decline in the price of Bitcoin is becoming a cause for alarm, because investors and intending ones will be skeptical, preferring to wait to see if there will be a balance.
Although, the values of risky assets like the BTC tend to take a downward slope in the wake of the Federal Reserve making policy changes to more fiscally conservative. Also, measures enacted by the federal that are designed to control inflation have had a negative impact on the price of BTC.
More so, as Bitcoin matures and becomes more accepted and adopted, the price is increasingly correlated with the prices of traditional assets like stocks.
Though the rate at which the price of BTC is dropping, financial analyst and professional, Ric Edelman has urged investors to stay calm and not be in a hurry to sell of their BTC, assuring that there is a favorable look on the Bitcoin in the long term.
He went further to state that this is thr fifth time BTC price has fallen by 50% or more since it's inception in 2009.
Bitcoin is currently trading at $37,000 down approximately 45% from its high as posted in Nov. 2021. Are there provisions put in place to curtail this downward spiral? https://www.investopedia.com/why-is-bitcoin-price-dropping-5216985

Are you totally new? If yes you didn't see the worse yet and this current drop is just a little bit drop happen in history so what I can suggest to you is research all the history about bitcoin so that you will not get worried on small movements happen on it. Also price drop is normal since this is so normal on bitcoin and better chill out since the reason for this is the existing war happening in Ukraine which affect a lot in economy also in cryptocurrency.
1970  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: March 09, 2022, 10:35:18 PM
I know there are heavy players out there who are wagering huge amount of money everyday at Roobet casino. However, I am really trying hard to get as much entries as I could in this contest.
I have received around 106 Tickets so far and still continuing to manage the game. Its really hard to keep playing with balance going up and down but Im keeping up the motivation anyways.
106 tickets is not bad at all. It is true that some players who will collect hundreds of thousands of tickets, but I remember that there are those who won previous contests with only a few dozen tickets.
Besides, there are still ten days before the contest ends, which means there is still too much time to collect more tickets. And don't forget that you can earn 2 tickets for each $10 wagered instead of only 1 by playing Pragmatic Play games.
Good luck!

Having huge number of ticket will not guarantee us to win but it will give us more chances of winning but still if luck will not on our side even if we have so many ticket we still have chances to lose on the players who is so lucky and only have limited numbers of ticket, so for this we should always think that we still play luck here and just continue to enjoy the game.

Good luck to all of us here  Cheesy.
1971  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto is a part of war now, like it or not on: March 09, 2022, 01:22:17 PM
War has different scope so you just point it as part of war because this was been used for donation campaign conduct by ukraine and other legal institutions. But if we are been realistic here we cannot really say that this is part of war because there's no sanctions nor anything has been impose on it and maybe people are just exaggerated with the dump happened that's why many got triggered and think the same as you. For what I look at it crypto still neutral and remain uncontrolled by anyone.
1972  Other / Off-topic / Re: Could Trump be the right choice for the ownership of Chelsea. on: March 09, 2022, 12:00:39 PM
I recently came across a sport headline breaking: Donald Trump reveals interest in buying Chelsea football club. And many thoughts ran through my mind, can Trump among many other bidders be the right man for the club. Cause it's only businessmen with the kind of passion as Roman Ibrahimovic had for the club that can still sustain and keep keeping the flag flying from where Ibrahimovic stopped.

What your take on this, with the likes of Trump in the race for the ownership of Chelsea?

Why not? if he have money to spend money to acquire that team then its all good and also I think its beneficial for the team if it will be acquired by Trump because he is well known business magnate so provably he will do good on this team in terms of profitability and support.  Also this could provably wide up their market knowing that Trump is very influencial man.
1973  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sa tingin niyo ano mas maganda? on: March 09, 2022, 10:45:19 AM

1974  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 08, 2022, 11:09:06 PM
<....>
Not just these two countries are affected by their war but we also affected due to delay of foods exported and imported in our different countries and like you said some prices will roll up like here in my country Philippines, gasoline and many daily needs was marked up, last 4 days and if this war will continued in a few months for sure many country will be affected.
Totally relevant on rising up prices because they are worlds  leading natural gas exporter and also oil exporter and producer.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Russia

So it isnt surprising that this current war did really make out some effects and this would even gotten worse as this war would continue.

Some times it cross on my mind on why such things create a huge effect on the economy while Middle east is also an option if we talk about oil supply, maybe there are global players play this and manipulate the current situation just to increase the price of the oil. Hopefully we can see the price of oil get back to normal after the war ends since this is really one of the biggest reason why the price of basic commodity rise up.
1975  Economy / Economics / Re: The ruble is going to hell on: March 08, 2022, 01:11:00 PM
Putin is not going to care as long as oil prices go up. Brent crude touched $139 per barrel yesterday and that will bring around $1 billion per day to the Russian treasury from oil exports alone (anything above $27 per barrel is taxed at close to 100% rate in Russia, and they export around 8 million barrels of crude every day). Natural gas prices are at record highs and that will also add to the revenues. And since Ruble is going down, the government needs to spend less money on salaries and pensions.

Biden made things easy for Putin, by sabotaging the Keystone XL pipeline and banning fracking on federal lands.

but still the fall of the ruble will have an impact on the Russian economy. maybe they can get by with the oil this time. but for the long term and the many sanctions, will make this big country not good. so the only option was to withdraw their invasion as soon as possible, that way they could avoid worse trouble.

Oil price is skyrocketing which I think in that area they will bounce back and Russia knows that already that's why their government is no worried about those temporary sanctions happening to them. But feel pity to those people who go affected especially those other citizens or overseas workers who work on Russia because their income will be totally affected on current economic situation on Russia especially for those people who save Ruble in their bank accounts.
1976  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: March 08, 2022, 11:57:01 AM
Why would others have to suffer because of their country?
Even though we know that those given gambling platform have negative trust but what about other platforms from Russia that are giving their customer a good service?
We don't even know if their owner is participating or in favor for the war or just wants to live in peace.

That is temporarily sanction for government to notice about their bad decision made since if there economy will suffer for sure it will reach to their people until to other branch of governments then they protest about this since this hurt them badly. For sure many think about that since its crazy to see if your economy got crumpled and for sure it will reach unto the leaders head about this situation.
1977  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: AXS and SLP available now on Coins.PH!!! on: March 08, 2022, 10:56:19 AM
Yong ETH, meron din kaya ang coins.ph through ronin?
Yung sa weth ba? Wala.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Disorder ? on: March 07, 2022, 11:16:47 PM
I was going through my feed when I saw this article :
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.hulldailymail.co.uk/news/hull-east-yorkshire-news/heartbroken-parents-say-hull-teacher-6755181.amp

According to the article the parents of the 24 Year old teacher blamed inadequate Gambling treatment and medicines available right now, also improper assesment of Gambling disorder. Their son became an addict by using fixed odds at the age of 16-17 and ultimately his addiction spiralled out of control.

This made me go further in the article to find more about Gambling disorder, according to the current education, it's categorized under impulsive disorder, in the US they are actually treated with medicine like : Mood stabilizers, Opioids, antidepressants and antipsychotic pills.

Is your country doing enough to inform people about the disorder? It's does require medical treatment first and foremost therefore I do think I would suggest anyone banning their accounts and asking help from social platforms to go to a certified therapist. It's not a joke and should not be taken lightly.

Do you think the laws needs improvement?
Do you think as the parents mentioned that Gambling industry has a *predatory* stance, is true?

There's a law already available for that maybe what we need here is proper education towards gambling is needed to improve since I rarely see gambling awareness program that's why many people think about this as normal things in life. Also people are in denial about their current situation in gambling that's why its hard for expert to asses those certain situation and help people who's already been addicted. That's why counseling and frequently educating maybe thru social media and other mainstream platform can help people realize more about the risk and how they can get out with it.
1979  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: MIR4 NFT game? on: March 07, 2022, 10:14:17 PM

SP at raid.

1980  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect on: March 07, 2022, 12:41:01 PM
Other than that, listing the token in an exchange requires a pretty huge amount of money.

Do you think it will be difficult for owl team to spend that amount of money on listing on a centralized exchange ? They are not a startup project which lack funds. They are generating good amount of money from their gambling site. Also they are running a signature campaign here and paying the participants on weekly basis. As far as i understand this, the money should not be a problem for them. Listed on centralized exchanges will give boost to the token price as well which indirectly will help the owl team.
It's just a matter of time for the OWL project to list on the centralized exchange or maybe they've done it without us knowing, and they may be just waiting for an announcement from the centralized exchange that their token is listed there. And yes, being listed on a centralized exchange will boost the token price, which means the project will be more famous as more investors will invest in the Owl project. We are waiting for the announcement from the team.

The hype for being listed on centralized exchange might happen but it all depends on which exchange where they choose to get listed since if people will see the exchange chosen is low volume or little bit unknown well instead of being hype they might get dismayed for the result of what they are waiting for this token. For now they need to present or perform well before they can get more potential investor to their project or token.
