2842  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What are STO's and what is the pros and cons compared to ICO. on: January 17, 2019, 05:13:09 PM
A short explanation about ICO( I guess that most of you know what it is but to those of you that don't)

ICO: Initial coin offering:

ICO is a way for a project to raise his funds without a loan by issuing their own coin. The idea is that when the company gains momentum the coin value will rise accordingly.

This way the company raises funds and the investors earn money.

1-Its not always safe. a lot of projects turn up to be scams

2-No regulation. Anyone can launch an ico

3-There is No way to monitor the true developing of the company.

4-Bad name and reputation, come from the late events regarding ICO.

5- Almost No legal or any law’s obliged the project decided to launch an ICO

6- There is no restricting on the person choose to invest, any child can take his mother credit card and buy countless coins.

7-Investor does not gain real shares in the company he invests in

STO:

Security Token Offering, the big brother of the ICO, its kinda close to ICO except, in STO you actually buy real shares in the company you get dividend and certain rights, in addition, the process of launching an STO obliged the company stand on a strict rules and regulations unlike the ICO’s (which everyone can start)

First, the preparation stage is absolutely different and take a lot more time then ICO. But I will not go in into all the details (If you interested, you can find it here in this STO guide

What is the Difference Between an STO an ICO?

Whilst STOs and Initial Coin Offerings (ICOs) are similar, in the sense that they are both used by companies to generate capital for their projects, in most other aspects, they are very different.

Firstly, due to the fact that Security Tokens are considered securities, whereas ICOs aren’t, people who invest using an STO are further protected by securities legislation. This helps to prevent fraud or to provide the investor with a type of recourse if the company they have invested in goes bankrupt. Because of this, generally speaking, STOs are currently being considered as a potentially safer purchase for investors.

Furthermore, there is a difference in the way STOs and ICOs are backed. STOs, as securities are backed by real assets that have an intrinsic, monetary value. ICOs, on the other hand, do not have their value fixed by any tangible assets and therefore do not have an intrinsic monetary value.

Also, ICOs generate their value through the technology of its platform, and the appreciation of the coins themselves, whereas STOs create their value through the operations and the climate of the business itself. Because of this, for an STO to be valuable, your company would need to be run in an efficient manner; similar to that of a publicly traded company. This, is in contrast to an ICO for your business, which would not devalue as your coins as severely due to negative events hitting your company.

Due to the fact that STOs are securities and therefore bound by securities regulations internationally, their legal situation has to be considered a lot more clearly than it would for a traditional ICO. This would involve bringing in legal experts, who can help to steer your business in the right direction when launching an STO. Whilst, you would still potentially need legal advice for an ICO, the hours of work that your lawyer would have to put in, is a lot higher for an STO, due to their regulated nature. This would involve increased costs to your business.

Due to the regulations surrounding securities, Security Tokens would be slightly more limited, in regard to the breadth of their target market. This is because, due to the unregulated nature of ICOs, there is no restriction on who can invest. Someone with $10, could invest in an ICO from anywhere in the world. This is in contrast to STOs, which, have to comply with anti-money laundering and know-your-client regulations. These regulations place certain barriers in the way of certain investors, depending on the securities legislation in their country. On the flip side, this can be seen as a good thing, due to the fact that it means that generally, STO investors would be more reputable.

An example of this is that in the United States, investors have to be accredited before they can actually make any deals of this nature. This provides a barrier to people that may have less capital however, it also helps to ensure that investments are coming from legitimate sources.

In essence, STOs are more similar to floating on the stock market, than they are to ICOs.
Hope you like it, I pot a lot of effort into it, if you have any note plz comment below.

so why should STOs be supported if not anyone can launch them but just exclusive syndicates? thats not an oppen capital market,

all attempts to close capital market are basically just scams, same like american banking cartel in order to scam a big portion of the population to a banking cartel
2843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lots of doubt on on: January 17, 2019, 05:03:59 AM
I see more and more people are starting to doubt Bitcoin because the price doesn't go up in this new year. Honestly, I am always optimistic and continue to wait for the increase even I know that the price increase cannot be timed. So what and what should I do now?

well no one minds you "hoping" or being "optimistic"

i see no reason why someone should support bitcoin except he sees no other current way to decentralise the power of the banking cartels, or, he is a big staked bitcoin miner or bitcoin whale.

Wer hält ein bedingungsloses Grundeinkommen auch in der Kryptowelt für sinnvoll?

https://krypto.ist/thema/universelles-bedingungsloses-grundeinkommen-mit-kryptowaehrungen/

das bedinungslose grundeinkommen ist dann nur noch eine farce, weil es defakto auf gnade derer beruht welche dieses "geld" für den aktiven verkauf ihrer zeit nehmen.
2845  Local / Suche / Re: Suche Mitstreiter für neues MEGA-Projekt on: January 17, 2019, 02:30:54 AM
Hallo.

i doubt its a good thing if a billionaire is backing something, i dont think it will matter much anymore

I wonder why you said that. Isn't more money will a project to move much faster? I thought this was a good thing.

well crypto damaged something i would describe as trustbased humanist nimbus of the central banks,

with bitcoin and crypto in existance, these "billionaires" just look like old fashioned communist to everyone.

2852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The story gets scarier. on: January 14, 2019, 02:17:21 PM
lol....this is what I have been talking about last week. It seems majority of us knew this incoming. Why would you try to entertain someone who's trying to kill Bitcoin if you're a Bitcoin beneficiary. Now the story gets scarier for everyone. We hope some redemption comes in a way because if Bitmain dies, hmmm.....well, we live to see.

https://www.coindesk.com/chinese-mining-giant-bitmain-is-closing-another-overseas-office

and I'll continue to say that there'll be no crypto without Bitcoin.

2018 has been one of the worst years if not the worst in the crypto industry. We had so many ups and downs but we are still around and looking forward to making it happen once again as it has always been. But amidst fhe turbulence that occurred there's still one thing I'm happy for, and that's some "psychopaths" failed their mission.

We all thought we had reach a bottom around 6K until some few people decided to ruin everything for all of us. Gladly, their mission failed (well, for now) and I'm really happy for that. I hope the same happens to anyone who tries to ruin Bitcoin's price furthermore.

Now Bitmain has layed off workers, boycotted plans to launch a subsidiary at a new country and having leadership troubles and oh, people aren't purchasing their mining rigs as before. Their best solution was to help find a way to pump Bitcoin but they ruined it.

If you have a product, start something and don't try to kill Bitcoin because ultimately you'll end up with undervalued coins.

Code: There's no crypto without Bitcoin

no crypto without bitcoin?

thats absolute nonesense,

crypto will start to thrive once the bitcoin centrists and the cryptoindex mafia that also centers everything on bitcoin are removed.

that will happen, i am sure about that.

After GoFundMe pulled they Impeach Trump Fund worth $50 million, Escobar Inc. is getting ready for an initial coin offering (ICO) for a stablecoin that’ll be attached to the US dollar. The coin has been named ESCOBAR.

2855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Banks Closing A/cs of Customers Who Buy BTC on: January 13, 2019, 03:08:54 AM
This is not good for the people in India who want to trade crypto’s. Opening up new bank account outside people’s main bank can be a way to trade crypto.

as soon as people stop calculating in things that are not indian rupias or usd, things get quite tough
2856  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We are the 15% on: January 13, 2019, 03:06:47 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/long-dormant-bitcoin-whales-resuming-activity-could-rock-price-action-analysts-say

According to this, 1000 addresses own 85% of ALL the bitcoins out there.  If that is true, then bitcoin is a scam.

centralised coins are quite common,

its same with ethereum (vitalik)

or ripple (garvin)

the true scam comes from the cryptocurrency index system that defines "shitcoins" and "nonshitcoins"

this distinguishinsation will weaken in time

You can say the same thing about every currency to have ever existed.  Eight people own more than the entire bottom half of the population.  Whether it is USD, Euro, gold, or crypto the majority of the supply will end up in the hands of the few that own capital that creates the actual wealth.

as soon as usd collapses these 8 people are poor as an average person
2857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are any of you paid your salary in crypto? What's it like? on: January 12, 2019, 10:35:34 PM
How do your employers buy it?
Have there been scenarios where after they purchased the agreed amount the value increased/decreased substantially before you were paid? If so, how did they react to this?

everyone that gets his salary paid in crypto is then selling those for communal fiats to pay his bill this ultimately leads to a price decline, crypto will start to flourish as soon as the communal banks collapse
2858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC - POS is the future on: January 12, 2019, 10:14:13 PM
Is not the best solution POS instead POW?

Can XTZ be an alternative to BTC? I mean seriously. XTZ has much more to offer than BTC and no need for huge electricity consumption, you remove 51% attack options, the code is way more secured than ETH...

POW was attractive, since it was inclusive for all those people sitting in the internet without money ruled by the central banks (nations)

POS will work differently, its not about the distribution its weather supporting that coin will deliver value.
2859  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV) confirmed as scam, websites are now shutdown on: January 12, 2019, 06:40:40 PM
SCAMALERT

Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV) is a confirmed scam, a victim
share his experience on Reddit.

The Ethereum Classic Vision (ETCV)
has been confirmed as scam after one victim confirmed the loss of 131 ETH on Reddit, while both of their websites, https://ethereumcv.io and https://etcv-wallet.com have also been deactivated.

Previously, the Guarda Wallet team reported their suspicion on the ETCV project that claimed to be the first fork on the Ethereum network scheduled to happen on January 11th.

“The analysis on the code performed by our team has shown that the piece of code provided actually sends your private key data on the Ethereum Classic Vision servers, masking it as an API token,” said the Guarda Wallet team.

Using many alleged fake Twitter accounts that has many followers, they promoted that anyone who join will receive 3 tokens of ETCV for every 1 ETH.

According to a Twitter user with the handle, @FlyGuyInTheSky, there are many other red flags on the ETCV projects.

The first one he noticed is the heavy promotion of the fake Twitter accounts, on which he said, “Something very fishy is going on with the ETCV #airdrop 100’s of accounts mainly of young busty women are pushing it very hard.”

Hello to you,

As indicated in the title, I am looking for someone passionate, motivated and talented to participate in the creation of a mining pool, I know nothing about it and can only trust you, if the work is perfectly good and very clear, you will choose between two paid rewards ( I do not want my request to be made exclusively for that)
I hope I have been as clear as possible, hoping to have volunteers;)

See you soon
