2861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 03:44:15 AM
Well! I see the man should report it to authority when he received that money and not waste it every day. Too bad, he has nothing to do in the future that's why the first he saw that huge amount of money, all in his head is to win more. I just can't understand these lunatics when they have the money, they ask for more money than they already have no matter how much is it. Of course, the one to blame is the man because he knows it is not his money and he will be tracked after a few days if he won't return it back. the good thing was, that he didn't use it all and there's some money left for the Covid-19 patients.
2862  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC on other chains is not BTC on: June 15, 2022, 03:02:24 AM
Wow! they went thru some other road here, I can't believe they fool people with this kind of logic. If it's not a bitcoin network, then all of this financial revolution will become nonsense since it will become transparent and it losses the idea of controlling your own money without the help of any 3rd parties, just you and your hard wallet. Now they making some trend which doesn't really make sense, if they wanted to promote their ideas, they cannot force their users to use that feature but what they are doing here is clearly manipulation and they are changing the traditional bitcoins transactions.
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trading Volume an important metric ? on: June 15, 2022, 02:36:22 AM
How important is trading volume when trying to decide whether to invest in a new project ? The higher the better ? But if people are "selling off" like crazy wouldn't that also mean a high trading volume ?

Depends, if it's only listed in single exchanges then there is a tendency that it was being manipulated by a single person or the team behind the project. That's why we are looking for liquidity here where multiple exchanges have the coins and the volumes are quite similar with their price being stable in a day. I experienced some coins where they only focus on one exchange and they dump it in one single move by selling everything they have. that's why things like that are hard to trust especially when involving a huge amount of money.
2864  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 14, 2022, 12:01:36 PM
Honestly, I had someone in my family who was addicted to gambling since our village back then was gambling then, it has varieties of games where you can gamble your money and what really motivates them is the story of others who won but didn't share their story of loss. This is the kind of joy that the gamblers have, they are always motivated either by the story of others or their own winning stories long ago but they are still motivated. Thankfully, they realized that it doesn't bring real joy once you realized you lose everything you have and that's when they stop playing and move on with their life looking for the real fun.
2865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you ready to buy/sell for bitcoins now? on: June 14, 2022, 11:12:56 AM
Since the price right now is unstable, and it is going down further to the point that we don't have any idea when it will gonna recover, it's really nice to invest and buy from this dip with your spared money because they are not gonna let it sink to the bottom. I mean the whale is just waiting right there patiently and they will start to move once the price stop sinking and that's when we move, those who are only waiting for the right time to spend their unused money. We might become risk-taker in this kind of scenario but at least we are spending money that is not really important, rather than letting sleep without gaining anything.
2866  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why USA Should Supply more Offensive Weapons to Ukraine on: June 14, 2022, 04:42:04 AM
Since they are getting more and more supplies in the past months, the war will never end soon and the result will be even worse in the upcoming days. Obviously what the west is doing is plain like colorless water, they wanted to weaken the Russian force with this war and when Russia is weakened, they will further stretch and continue to further support Ukraine and in the last part of this decisive war, they will gonna join and obviously claim the victory. What really concerns me is when they started to nuke each other, though we are miles and miles away from them, we will be affected and mostly our economy will fall.
2867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a solution to alts leeching off bitcoin's strong valuation? on: June 14, 2022, 04:08:04 AM
Big alts are buying bitcoin and using it as collateral, or wrapping it, or using it as part of their defi shenanigans.
Alts used to exist independently to compete with bitcoin, now they're drag it along with them and screwing bitcoiners.

Real altcoins can stand on their own with the help of the team behind them because they are motivated to do so and most importantly they are legit projects who really wanted to make some new kind of service in the crypto industry. as we know, we already witnessed huge numbers of projects who are like that and so far, they are successful and still ongoing today. Unless those projects are good only in the start but in reality, they have hidden agenda to scam people and we know when greed takes over the team, the project will fail and we know it already happened to some projects that we thought were legit.
2868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 14, 2022, 03:39:35 AM
looks like the Warriors know exactly what to do in the 4th quarter because they further stretch their lead to complete wins against the Boston Celtics. now that they are 1 game away to win the NBA championship this season, they can proudly say that they are back again to cause a problem for whoever will gonna be their opponent in the NBA playoffs next season. Still, Wiggins, has the most points in this game and he completely plays different games in these last two games and the results are priceless for the GSW.
2869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: June 14, 2022, 03:11:07 AM
Gamblers around the world use crypto and bitcoin to play the bets. Do they really care if the bitcoin prices dump hard? I know traders are directly impacted by this dump, and investors are also in panic but what about gamblers. Their motive is to play gamble and they may not be a concerned if the price of bitcoin is declining sharply?

I don't think so, since gamblers are only playing to hide their identity when it comes to crypto gambling and they are not holders who messed up their investment in this severe bearish market. Most likely after they play, they convert their crypto to fiat and they only get crypto when they needed to play again. I think when the price is back, they are the least of people who don't really care unless they were holding some huge amount of crypto assets in their wallets.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gold Guarantee Coin ? What you think on: June 14, 2022, 02:34:12 AM
I've seen dozens of similar projects. The assumptions of the majority were to collect money from users and buy physical gold for it, of course, after deducting appropriate commissions. I do not know that any of these projects survived on the market. Most of them were obvious scams, and others were caused by legal regulations, logistic or simply low interest of users.

I think they only claiming to have those backups since they don't have any proof at all like videos when they arrange their golds or something like that. there's nothing they can prove and in this case, they are all just talking and carefully putting the bait to lure those newbies who think gold guarantee coins exist in this industry. Nevertheless, it's recommendable to stay away from this kind of project even though you are a risk-taker because this is obviously a scam unless they prove their claim that they are currently really holding those amounts of gold they are talking about.
2871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots is More Likely to Cause Gambling Problem on: June 13, 2022, 01:27:02 PM
Addiction to something happens because the sufferer feels comfortable, full of satisfaction (dopamine effect) when doing that. slots feature amazing animations and also great prizes easily if the player is lucky. I don't like slots but for lottery and soccer betting, I really love and feel addicted Grin

Just because it's easy to do doesn't mean you need to play it every day and that's what most people became after they suffered such addiction from playing slot machines. some of them are buried in debt because of these small matters that they could have avoided if they remained patient about their life. Slots are addictive because the environment where they put them has lots of people enjoying what they are doing at the moment but in reality, most of them are soon to suffer some serious depression when they lose everything they have in this tricky game.

2872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Something Like This Happen To You on: June 13, 2022, 11:59:41 AM
This is most likely the experience of every other gambler, the casino has a way of always controlling your emotions and is systematically attracting you back to play more so that there can generate more revenue from you.  But what I use most is to set a timing for myself once I reach my limit it doesn't matter what the next game result will be I will walk away.

That's a rare trait for a person who always plays every day but honestly, most people cannot resist going back to play more and most likely they lose and regret the moment they turn back to play. That is why most gambling dens will let you do what you want after you have won because they know exactly what you will do next. You are coming back to play and to win more, that's the time when they gonna get back what they have in you and you gonna end up giving them more when you lose big money.
2873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't sell your precious BTC to the whales! on: June 13, 2022, 11:13:13 AM
The news about the BTC price decreasing is alarming to some people who are new in this industry and they haven't experienced when the time the price was almost hit $2000 a few years ago. For the newcomers, this price today is the lowest and they are now saving as much as they can from their investment by panic selling everything which the benefits will always go to whale for another long time holding. Can't really blame the people who are selling their BTC right now maybe because that's the only money they have to survive but they are causing problems for others as well.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BTC market capitalisation going up, what this means for ALTS on: June 13, 2022, 10:43:36 AM
The price of BTC nowadays is decreasing rapidly due to the fact that the war in Ukraine has caused lots of trouble economically to the other part of the world and people nowadays are preparing for more catastrophic scenarios. Looks like another panic selling is on the way to avoid further loss and this is the time when risk-takers do their work. How I wish I had enough money to buy from this dip for long-term holding. As the day goes by, the BTC price decreases, you find more people will not hesitate to sell their BTC and this is the right time for us to spend some money in the crypto market for the future.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 13, 2022, 04:25:47 AM

I agree, yes, it's a wrong premise to assume just because two undefeated boxers are going to face each other that there will be a knockout. Although this two has an impressive knockout percentage, this fight might go to the judges hands. Maybe there will be knock downs along the way, but both are aware of each other's power and might cover up in some rounds to avoid getting hit by a big and unexpected punch.

Both have huge punch power and it might be their ace to beat their opponent and whoever can take punches will gonna be the most dominant since he can throw some counter without worrying about the consequences. Unlike faster boxers with recently watched, this one is a strategic fight where they will gonna gauge each other strength first then go for the clash in the later rounds, and the one who will gonna drain fast will be the one to fall down.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bear Market Can Be A Waste Of Time or Useful Depending on How We Approach It on: June 13, 2022, 04:01:28 AM
Some people waste their money on the newly emerged projects while the bear market is here, others took the opportunity by buying a huge amount of top altcoins in the market where they have a high chance to gain decent income when bull runs are back. though this kind of move is high risk due to the chances that the coin you are investing in might not increase its price due to the fact that it will become a failed project but due to its popularity and it is currently at the top, it has a higher chance than the others at the bottom.
2877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An analysis on how Bitcoin gets to 1 billion users on: June 13, 2022, 03:31:51 AM
IMO, I believe that the 30.8 Million net Bitcoin users are already a huge achievement of the crypto industry. But making it a Billion users is a big task to do, but it's not impossible because as the technology is improving the adoption will continue to increase on a year-to-year basis thats why we should continue to support the Bitcoin to make that one Billion target users a reality, nevermind those competitors. After all, they have also the interest to protect so they gonna hate, But one thing is for sure they cannot destroy Bitcoin.

More good news and mainstream media positive news but it seems that's not possible because of the banks will obviously oppose when they see their competitors gaining lots of investors. The people that are in this field really need to work to explain to the people they know what's bitcoins all about and how would it be a huge help for our money freedom. That's what makes people stick to it when they know exactly the point of having bitcoins as your assets because they really like when they have total control of their money rather than the banks who might gonna close any day from now.
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 12, 2022, 02:43:49 PM
The 1st 2 quarters doesn't matter to both teams as they are good in 3rd quarter and 4th quarter where we can see a real competition.

Agree, the most important is the 3rd and 4th quarter but it has been the Warriors who have dominated the 3rd quarters in the last 4 games, I don't know, I think Celtics has not won a 3rd quarter in the game, they won most 4th quarters only like in game 1. So what I'm saying is, the Warriors have to improve their performance in the 4th quarter as that is the most important.

Can't wait for the next game since they are tied at 2-2, the next game is super crucial because whoever wins has only one more win to go to become NBA champion this season. But you cannot underestimate the Boston Celtic's determination and eagerness to win the championship is the reason why they tied the series. It's better for them to win this upcoming game because it's not their homecourt anymore and they're not actually gonna have an easy game because the GSW will also not let them do the same play as they did in their last 2 wins.
2879  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Energy used to mine Bitcoin with other industries. on: June 12, 2022, 01:57:55 PM
We are not ignorant of this matter when we talk about mainstream media, they always have hidden agenda and now we already know what kind of negative news they are feeding the people about bitcoins and the crypto miners. Now that they have some bullets or what they call fake news, they will keep putting it in the headlines until they are proven wrong and that's when they think of another way to fool people against their false claims.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: June 12, 2022, 01:15:39 PM
Did anyone of you see that tweet and became a trend on how much Do Kwon has been cashing out all over these past months? It's $2.7 billion of dollars that he has taken into his exchange accounts. But with the news that I've found, he's denying the claim. Well, you're gonna think of it where the money has gone through when it's just falling into pieces and the new version of it has fallen together with the market.

He might be just playing the victim here but in the reality, he is smiling behind those fake tears. People should really ponder upon this incident if they wanted to preserve their crypto assets because, in the blink of an eye, they can lose all of their hard-earned crypto from trading or from their own life savings. Looks like this will be a headline for the rest of the month since the so-called 2.0 LUNA still failed to gain momentum and it is falling.
