2861  Economy / Speculation / Re: The excitement is over, what's next? on: May 16, 2020, 01:01:14 PM
the only people who will lose excitement are the ones who sold their btc and hasn't yet bought back because the expected dip didn't happen.  it may still come if nothing happens while the pandemic is around. crypto is full of thrills and excitement, you lose them both when you lose your coins.

i dont have coins now and i have sell before but why i still feel excited ?  so i think this excitement are also happening now to people that doesnt have coins as well. sure halving is done and its effect but there are still after effects that will possibly happen .

just like when there is an earthquake , high chance that tsunami will occur too . so im expecting a big pump that will happen on btc these days. .
2862  Economy / Economics / Re: The unfortunate event that is Quarantine. on: May 16, 2020, 12:08:19 PM
Corona virus won't kill us , but the economic situation will .
I remember the words that I often hear to people who belong to lower class. Due to this pandemic the businesses, establishment and company needs to close and stop operating causing many people to stop working. They say they wont die because of the virus, instead they will starve to death, the relief from the government is not enough to feed the people everyday. Good thing the situation here is slowly getting better, workers are now allowed to work because the number of new infected is decreasing which means its somehow under control though the virus is still existing. Hoping they will discover the vaccine so the virus will vanish.

yes lower class people because they are the ones that are poor and have nothing to eat now but rich people still have some stocks left but lower class people has a wrong reason.  they say covid will kill them and not the hunger but the truth is they will not die even if cant eat for along time while covid is too fatal and can kill you faster than a hunger  . plus governments are still providing relief operations so how can they say they dont have food to eat ? they just only want to continue thier lives normally  in other words
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: May 16, 2020, 11:42:33 AM
leacoin ? never heard of this coin but you said it was an old age coin  or maybe this coin isnt only popular and not on the top spot but i believe that this coin is better than most new coins today so if i were to pick i think i will also go on this coin.  thats cool op because you support older ones  , we have the same taste because i also like vintage not just on crypto but also on real life stuffs . to the crypto , my old coin collection is btc and eth only .
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New exchanges worth my money???? on: May 16, 2020, 10:51:13 AM
you sounded like you are buying the exchange  . dunno why i said that but maybe its because of the title your thread .  of course i know what you mean  , you mean to say reliable or legit exchanges where you can trade but you already list some good names  .

not just exchange but you must have enough knowldge on how trading works and what coins are good too because trading on those exchanges listed by you still makes no sense if your doing it wrong
2865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is stopping people from running their own full node? on: May 16, 2020, 09:47:16 AM
yes its because people dont know if what nodes are  . they think that its too hard to set it up so they decide to not get involved on it . me either thats my reason too on why i dont involved on it but after seeing this thread , im convince about your statement that maybe setting up one isnt that really hard but i also remember that no things will be hard as long as you are willing to do it . you will learn it and there are now many reference online that we can use to make things more easier
2866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: J.K. Rowling, Author Of Harry Potter Is Interested in Bitcoin, Time To Short? on: May 16, 2020, 08:54:17 AM
many popular personality are involved in btc before but man this is still overwhelming because the guy is famous for his creations  . now him being involved on btc is something that can give impact to the btc markets   .

what he does here is something like a promotion ( a free promotion rather )  .  it is really the time to buy and start hodling btc because i suspect that the price can skyrocket  later on .
2867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Corona virus exploited by some scammers on: May 16, 2020, 06:39:42 AM
this is sad because scammers use this an one of thier advantage to do thier unethical acts  .

people these days badly need the donation but it will be gone wrong if the donations fall from wrong hands  . not just scammers alone but also regular people or some govt official's too can do  unwanted stuffs like these   .   the said doing is not new but also happen along time ago with or without epedimic or serious cases like this    . this is alarming and we should act  something to atleast lessen them
2868  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: May 15, 2020, 03:07:09 PM
it is very good if crypto currencies are given government tax, but if they do it in a situation like this, I think they are wrong,
taxes will make life difficult for people who only work with little capital in crypto currencies. maybe after the COVID19 pandemic ends, taxes may be imposed

I don't think it is that good.

Even in the normal days, I don't think it is that good for cryptocurrencies to be taxed. I think it is better to what it is right now since people are enjoying the freedom they have and I think it is also good for privacy out of the government's hands. If you are a good citizen, why don't you just add your profits from cryptocurrencies to your income taxes?

but i dont think there will be people that are willing to donate some of their profit as a form of tax  .

cant you see that even people that arent using cryptos  are still evading the tax so how much more if its not required  ? people will be happy and this is the reason why there are now many people going for cryptos  and one of that reason maybe is to escape the taxation   .  aside from tax , you cant say that peopple really have freedom on here because there are now kyc and other strict rules that will reveal your identity  .
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: May 15, 2020, 02:31:18 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

if you read on the thread that they reserve the right to change the rules if need be.. then it's not cheating unfortunately this is what every bounty will have to experience in the crypto space.. they can choose not to pay up at all.. and theres nothing we can do about it

i know and almost every business or company already posted that notice  .  it sucks because this is verry simillar to being you cheated because they can do whatever they wanted to  .   the only way to avoid this is to not join a campaign that have this rule just to be sure that your efforts will not be wasted   .  dunno what happen to op , he didnt clearly state if the campaign that he joined have this rule but i assume they have it and maybe op didnt saw it   . now he is in trouble   . his option is doing kyc or else leave
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: May 15, 2020, 01:21:45 PM
Ripple is struggling to hold this position, talking about $5 or $500 dollars is impossible without achieving half a dollar! And looks like ripple is far from that.

For now maybe if you have already loss your trust or you have not trust Ripple.

it's ATH was I think $4 or close to it, so 5$ is not really that hard to achieve, if bitcoin will reach $30,000 which is possible, then altcoins might be bullish again, However, I don't think it will reach $500, though still not impossible but it's close to impossible.

I am sure when there's hype in the market again people will begin trusting this coin and put a hype on it as well.

$500 is possible if XRP would completely replace fiat money held around the globe in nostro/vostro accounts.
Even if Ripple proves to be 1000 times technically better, cheaper etc, that won't happen overnight
for political/economical reasons, as it would have tremendous effect globally

xrp to replace fiat money ? i thought what can replace fiat is something that has a simillar characteristic on it but xrp fail with that because the value of xrp is unstable and also verry cheap .  we need atleast equivalent to 1 usd which and has a stable value.  but to the question that if ripple will ever reach 5 usd well i think no . xrp has been alot of hater so this means not enough supporters to pump the coin but ripples value right now is not bad anyway and its better than most alts value
2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: EtherDelta is dead, long live the ForkDelta on: May 15, 2020, 11:59:45 AM
As I know, Etherdelta has indeed been replaced with Forkdelta, I believe that their CEO is the same, just changing the name,
I'm grateful that Forkdelta was born, because Airdrop Hunter or Bounty Hunter really needs this exchange  Grin

Airdrop hunters and bounty hunters really really need to get a life:P

But okay,,, I had no idea Etherdelta was replaced,,, but I guess all those of us who just use Bitcoin and do not really care about tokens would not really know yeah?

yes, it must be admitted that during the etherdelta period there were many who were helped by its existence, because many altcoins can be exchanged there. with the passage of time due to the large number of altcoins registered there, etherdelta began to experience difficulties and forkdelta appeared to help reduce transactions there. but right now I haven't used either etherdelta or forkdelta for a long time because there are already many alternative.

I had used etherdelta many times before, when they were still in active operations.
I guess there were a lot of crap tokens born owed to etherdelta.  Grin
But anyway, many crypto users are now finding good alternatives when it comes to DEX.
Even Binance has DEX now, so we don't have to worry where to go when you need one.

wait what etherdelta dont work anymore?  omg .  i was expecting that im going to use this exchange because im now going back on airdrop hunting but maybe coin owners will just find other alternatives and i hope they will consider binance dex or if not then forkdelta is okay  .

i have use forkdelta before but not binance dex , i can say that forkdelta is smoother than etherdelta but no doubt that etherdelta help many hunters before  and im one of those.
2872  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the Oil be burned and how it will affect the climate on: May 15, 2020, 11:23:55 AM
why produce so much oil when they know that there isnt much demand on it  . why will they burn the excess one when they are already selling it cheap  . people should be buying alot of them now so there should be no problem for spacing . burning them is only a loss for them and also a harm to our environment plus its also illegal and they should be jailed or fined for that  . they can be easily caught out if they do so due to smoke and smell but idk if they can burried it instead on the ground
2873  Economy / Speculation / Re: All Time High:: 2020 or 2021 ? on: May 15, 2020, 10:39:57 AM
yes many people speculate good stuffs compare to bad stuffs when it comes to halving  .add in the fact that people are so excited to witness the result so they will just say that ath will come this year  .

some says next month or two.  i dont know the history of halving but still i wont believe that it was based on patterns. time now is different than before , many people now are joining crypto so im with those people that say halving will happen this year .
2874  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: May 15, 2020, 09:46:07 AM
blockchain is new so yes because there arent still many workers on here which means there are still positions to be filled  but mostly they only hire developers and programers   .

i dont have a skill on these and i think these are hard to do  but the pay is only big   . but i almost forgot that there are still bounties  , airdrops , etc that dont require a programming or a developing knowledge   .  for now this is the only thing that i do
2875  Economy / Economics / Re: Rebooting the World after the COVID-19 Shutdown on: May 15, 2020, 06:55:04 AM
just like after a natural clamities people try to rebuild what have been broke and learn to accept what is loss   .

eventually we can see those people happy again and going back on thier normal lives   . same exact scenario can also happen after this covid but the only difference is that no houses or property that is broken but only lives lost    . thats still hard to accept at first but we need to keep on moving because there might be harder trials after this   . stay strong guys and we will win this battle
2876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The One Biggest Lesson you've learnt from Bitcoins Investment on: May 15, 2020, 06:23:19 AM
its not based on speculation but its based on your asset because speculations are not the ones that dictate if what will the price will be   .

not all people will easily believe on a mere speculation  imo   . like for example me im an hodler of btc and i wont sell if  i heard a bad speculation but i believe on the techology behind on my coin  . now im correct because btc still keep on increasing up to this date   . i think i will consider that as my lesson too when investing   .
2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why there are no Stable coin gambling sites? on: May 15, 2020, 05:47:07 AM
If you are worried about costs, I think LTC is altcoin which has a pretty low fee.
Doge is even faster than LTC with lower fees! And is almost a stablecoin since several months (it goes up when btc goes down and goes down when btc goes up)

EOS,XRP,TRX  is also a good alternative when we do talk or being concern about fees.About on the topic why theres no
stable coin in gambling sites, actually there's a few already. Regulation aspect is the definitely the closest reason
why they havent included this one.
I don't think the answer is regulation...
I don't think it's hard for a gambling site to provide a stable coin option, but why average gambling sites did not want to, the reason is that it is less profitable and comfort factor. average online crypto gambling players are comfortable with BTC, DOGE, ETH and LTC options.

profitable ? we arent investing on here but we are gambling and the profit depends on your gameplay   . your profit when you win and loose when you loose   .  stable coins are infact less risky because volatillity wont affect your play if ever you like to store coins for play inside a gambling site   . there are sites that i already saw have a stable coin but most havent this yet so im convince that the reason is regulation since stable coins are centralized and are related to banks or fiats
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Counting Cards -- a Dirty Cheat or a Legit Skill? on: May 15, 2020, 05:01:53 AM
It is legal. Well, you are using your brain to make it possible and not some sort of device to record the cards. But of course, the casino will consider it as cheating or they can kick you out of the house because it is their way to avoid more losses when they are already at a disadvantage.

but how can they know that you are counting card if you will be only silent  ? are they mind readers lol  .  and yes your saying is true    .

this isnt something that is easy to do but it takes skill and good memory  . for sure many people or gamblers dont have that , so why would they worry about thier losses . and besides they already put up a business that they can loose too more than they win   .  so there is nothing to be blame on here   .
2879  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Need advice on becoming a successful trader on: May 14, 2020, 10:56:19 PM
And most importantly start with a small capital first. My advice is don't follow trading signals or use trading bots, it will only provide short-term
profits. It's better to trust your own abilities by doing manual trading.
It is good if the signal still give you a profit because as far as I know the trading signal especially the free signal will just make you get a lose. Even I just thinking the people who give a signal will make the signal hunter meet a loosing first so as they will try to premium signal. I will feel like that, to recovery lose I'll do anything to gain profit to close my loosing money.

That is true, the safest way become a trader is believe to yourself and your strategy. Someone will be an expert to trade and they will always find a knowledge to avoid something bad happen. At least they will know any situation so as they only have a small chance to lose a lot of money.

Following trading signal groups especially those free ones is really not advisable.
I have tried that several times just to see if what they were saying was true, and it was not.
Only them can gain from this strategy, those who owned the group.
So if you want to be a trader, do it on your own. Learn the tricks thru experience.
Each alt has their own time but you need to follow closely their updates.
You should select only the coins that you want to focus on, as there are a lot of them and you might lose in tracking them.

if all people depend on signals then it will be ez pz but nah  . many feedbacks i heard were bad  . its really true that no ez money on this world not even on the trading scene  .

if you want good signals then you need to pay for premium but this does not mean that all premium are legit just because they require  fee  . i think it would be better that we still equip our selves with few knowledge in general trading and on the group that we are trying to join
2880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why You choose Crypto Trading instead of Forex Trading. on: May 14, 2020, 02:33:47 PM
the reason why forex have a huge market cap its because it is existed before crypto right ? but if given a time , crypto can also grow big inf the future and might surpass the market cap of forex  . the only reason i chose crypto trade is because i have more knowledge with it compare to forex  . we can earn easily from scratch with cryptos while on forex , you must have an adequate capital and you still need to work hard for your trade to be able to possibly earn some   . there are many infos and trick or tips for cryptos too based on what i see
