The Jaguars hype and marketing team is the best in the NFL hehehe. However, I agree that Travis Etienne has a chance to perform and help his team get a better result this year compared to 2021. It will not be that difficult hehe considering their 2021 standing. Ettiene was my prediction for rookie of the year during the draft. Jaguars could get a huge boost from 2021 class alone
Etienne should be the biggest help for next year’s team since he was the second-highest draft pick. He and running back James Robinson will make a formidable one-two punch. Etienne is also an excellent receiver out of the backfield. However, he still needs to improve in pass protection.Source https://sports.yahoo.com/jaguars-could-huge-boost-2021-005808968.htmlAlso, this news about corruption with the Washington Commanders. If proven guilty, what would happen to the owners? Will they be forced to leave their franchise? Congress accuses Commanders of stealing season ticket deposits, hiding revenue from NFL in letter to FTC
n a letter to the Federal Trade Commission, which was obtained by the Washington Post, the House Committee on Oversight and Reform accused Commanders executives and team owner Daniel Snyder of hiding revenue from the NFL for over a decade by withholding security deposits that should have been refunded to season ticket-holders.Source https://sports.yahoo.com/congress-accuses-commanders-of-stealing-season-ticket-deposits-hiding-revenue-from-nfl-in-letter-to-ftc-185750481.html

But we have to wait for that long and let's all just finish their matches before going that far. We don't know if the match or next fight will be announced by that quarter you've mentioned but yeah, everything is possible.
We need to wait first for the results of: John Riel Casimero vs. Paul Butler Naoya Inoue vs. Nonito DonaireOnce we the see results of this match, the winners will likely face each other in the last quarter of the year. But in the case of a Donaire win against Inoue, a trilogy should be expected to happen. I would like to witness the old Filipino underdog to win, however, Inoue is a great boxer himself much comparable to Manny Pacquiao in skill, I reckon. Another move for Inoue would be similar to Canelo. Move up a weight division and create another challenge for himself. It might also depend if a fight vs. Casimero will pay him more money hehhe.

~ but fight between Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan was controversial again. Even Dana White said that judges made a wrong decision with giving split decision win to Sterling,
~ And if the president of the organization says the same thing with stating the judges were wrong. Then you know something has to be changed there. CMIIW but this is not the first time Dana has disagreed with the judges' decisions. Why hasn't he changed anything yet? ~ Either finding a new points system or checking on the judge who made this blunder and terminate him from judging any future fights.
Judges should be independent from the fight organization and cannot be terminated by them. Otherwise, the owners could pressure them and affect how they score a fight. Regarding the new point system, it doesn't really matter if they score it per round or the entirety of the fight. Judges will still have the sole discretion on how they will interpret and apply the set criterias. Some decisions can become controversial but there is really no better alternative. Unlike in other sports where players can challenge a call/decision, it is impractical to apply that in the UFC or other MMA organizations. Agreed. Also, similar to what @TopTort777 has said, the round was indeed very close and it was arguable for both Petr Yan and the Oscar winner hehe. I think if Dana watches the replay he might change his opinion. Max Holloway also made a good suggestion before, and this is to post the judges' score cards publicly after each round. This might cause the judges to think more carefully before scoring a round.

In the article, Coinbase has a list of 50 projects which are under consideration to be listed in the exchange. From this list, I reckon there might be only 5 projects or less good enough to be listed in Coinbase. What does everyone speculate Coinbase will list? In any case, I am bagholding MEDIA. I hope it will be chosen and will cause the Coinbase listing pump so I can sell hehehehe. Starting immediately and as part of an effort to increase transparency by providing as much information symmetry as possible, Coinbase will be using this blog post as a pilot to communicate assets under consideration for listing in Q2 2022 (April 1st, 2022 to June 30th, 2022).
April 1 — June 30 2022 Roadmap The following assets are under consideration for listing on Coinbase in the 2nd quarter of 2022. Transfers and trading are not supported for these or any other assets until a listing is officially announced. Depositing these assets into your Coinbase account before an official announcement may lead to permanent loss of funds.Read in full https://blog.coinbase.com/increasing-transparency-for-new-asset-listings-on-coinbase-e06f2edb095e

I have re-watched Aljo vs Yan fight. What can I say, Aljo has outplayer or tricked everyone. His has made a vision, that he is not a real champ, but he took 1 year to prepare for this fight. He has taken 2-3 rounds. Yan took 4 and 5. The fate of the fight was decided in the first round. On one hand people would say that Yan was more aggressive, he was working as Nr1, he took centre of the ring, Aljo was always stepping back and defending. But if you watch closely, you would see that a lot of Yan strikes missed Aljo, Aljo did not get a damage and etc. This is not way to win a title, being more aggressive or active is not enough to win in such fights.
Yan can say that he was robbed, he was feeling pressure (as he wasnt allowed to carry Russian flag for example), he did not have his team in corner, come up with real or fictitious excuses. But the fact is, if you want to get a belt, you must win persuasively.
It was how I speculated the fight to happen hehe. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5139347.msg59784709#msg59784709Rounds 1 to 3 will be for the oscar best actor and rounds 4 to 5 will be for Petr Yan and the Aljamain Sterling to win with a split decision. It was the neck injury of Aljo during training for the first fight, it cause him not to train harder which also affected his cardio.

I voted no idea. I speculate Do Kwon might be still cause another pump, sorry pooyah87 I do not know what word to use. However, yes, $10 billion within 3 months is still very much a large amount of money to invest in bitcoin. It certainly is the largest amount publicly declared to buy bitcoin. I reckon bitcoin might presently be lower if not for Do Kwon's market buy since March.

crypto is transformative technology? This statement is a two edges sword! It could very well be translated into two different meanings. Is it a technology that will transform the financial space for good or for bad?? While we, the community members believe that cryptocurrency is a good technology that can disrupt the current banking based financial system. We have see some examples during Hong Kong crisis and we are seeing it now during Rus-Ukraine war. People are becoming less dependent on banks and more eager to control their own finances through cryptocurrency. Then, there is government who believes cryptos can disrupt the current banking based financial system and take away the power from their hand to the end user. So they are seeing it as a threat. So it all depends on which side you are! Janet Yellen is way too small when it comes to cryptospace and its scope. I don't think we need to give a lot of weight to her statement. The skeptical me thinks that she is only trying to make the American government appear that it is not a threat to the cryptospace. This is very different from their stance 2 years ago. Maybe this is a new strategy to make everyone feel safe before they begin their real agenda which will certainly be more bans and more control hehe.

What a big win by GGG yesterday in spite of his age and was also fighting in Murata's backyard. I actually preferred Murata to beat Golovkin rather than Canelo Alvarez taking him out because their trilogy would have happened years ago. GGG is clearly past his prime and he will be moving up to 168 against Canelo. I wish Bivol will smesh Canelo. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Agreed. I also predicted that Murata would win this because the fight was in Japan and other reasons because he is younger and GGG might not the the fighter he was when he was younger. In any case, I was wrong hehe. It also appears GGG has just created an argument to have his trilogy versus Canelo.

@7788bitcoin. Agreed and similar to many people in this thread, I was also very bullish on bitcoin because of those reasons @Fundamentals Of shared. However, there might be other occurences in this market that might be much too powerful against Do Kwon, Saylor and Elon. This occurrence mentioned in this article might be one of them, I reckon. The plan to compensate creditors of the collapsed crypto exchange Mt. Gox has been approved, and payments of about $9 billion are set to go out soon.
While it's still unclear if payouts will be in cryptocurrency or fiat currency, some industry watchers see creditors getting bitcoin in a matter of months.
"Those affected will receive a large sum of bitcoin, likely happening in Q1 or Q2 of 2022," Matthew Dibbs, chief operating officer of crypto firm Stack Funds, told Reuters.Source https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/currencies/mt-gox-bitcoin-settlement-payouts-9-billion-dollars-early-2022-2021-11

Janet Yellen does not like bitcoin and the cryptospace, we certainly know this already. However, why has she presently changed her opinion and began telling everyone through her speeches that crypto is transformative technology? I am very skeptical of this. I speculate that there might be a magic trick in the end where something like every American user in the cryptospace cannot sell their coins for fiat might occur hehehe. Devil womanSpeaking to attendees at an American University event, Yellen highlighted the extreme divergence of perceptions about crypto, saying that’s often the case with “transformative” technology. “Some proponents speak as if the technology is so radically and beneficially transformative that the government should step back completely and let innovation take its course,” she said. “On the other hand, skeptics see limited, if any, value in this technology and associated products and advocate that the government take a much more restrictive approach.”Read in full https://www.coindesk.com/policy/2022/04/07/treasury-secretary-janet-yellen-calls-crypto-transformative-in-wide-ranging-speech/

@PrimeNumber7. Agreed, Apple is doing good to support the users.. However, as Apple as being this walled garden, it can also be argued that the market demand for everything related to the cryptospace has caused them not to have a choice. Users will buy Android devices if they do not accomodate the users of this new market.

I lost several coins there, I wonder if foreign people can claim or recover the stolen funds besides class action lawsuit on cryptsysettlement website
Sorry for your losses.
@OP, fix the date on the title. Sorry hehehe. Missing 2 years because of the pandemic lockdowns made me think it is still 2020 hehehe.

However, there was nothing about Apple.
Actually, there was something about Apple Pay and Apple card [14:42 - 15:52], but it had nothing to do with a new partnership with Apple - I'm a bit disappointed since I was expecting to see an announcement about the subject in question, but I did like seeing that they've partnered with Blackhawk Network and NCR [can't say the same for the Shopify part since they're not the first one].I am afraid it was more hype than reality. Everyone was expecting Apple to have more to do with bitcoin, or something similar to Tesla where they hold bitcoin in their treasury hehehe.

I hate to say it, but I will only believe it when I see it. There have been so many rumors over the years that it seems unlikely. Certainly it would be nice given the uptake on Apple Cash/Apple Pay, but I won't believe it until it comes true.
An ETF approval, more uptake of things like Taro to increase usage and stuff like that are important too.
Everyone was waiting for Jack Mallers to announce something in the conference. However, there was nothing about Apple.
