2861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP - Buy in or Bail out? on: February 20, 2021, 01:16:48 PM
It all depends how much you are holding, if you are holding alot sell some and hold some just in case. Because with the SEC it can go either way.
^ I still have faith in XRP, I held some of it and I think, that is around 20% overall of my portfolio.
If your reason for selling just because you afraid of the SEC, then you will probably have to research first, SEC was only implemented regulation on Ripple but that is totally different from XRP which is a digital asset, and while Ripple is a company that created XRP. Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong if you will put a try to invest in XRP with a low amount that you can afford and accumulate only a small amount won't hurt your pocket but if it will have a massive increase, of course, it is considered as a profit.
2862  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on BNB (Why it won’t replace ETH) on: February 20, 2021, 01:01:48 PM
^ BNB was rise because of the binance exchange and most trader use their coin just to cut fees, there is nothing else matter. We know that BNB will impossible to replace ETH, which is far behind. Besides, as they said, BNB is fully centralized rather than ETH and that is the reason probably that BNB can not surpass ETH. I think there is nothing special with the BNB, it is coincidentally that the fees on ETH were ridiculous these days and traders find a way to move their money and to save from the high fees.
2863  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Missed out on bitcoin, please make me a plan now on: February 19, 2021, 10:21:11 PM
~snip~
So what would you guys who actually know about these things suggest? What do you think would be a good plan? Maybe put 10 000 to bitcoin now and wait and see what happens? Or are there some other cryptos I should buy? Maybe spread the money? Is there a better buying opportunity for something else right now? How well has stop loss worked with Bitcoin? Maybe I'd invest 6000 with no stop loss, 6000 with a stop loss to 25% lower? Then see what happens and buy more if there's a dip. I know it's a shame I woke up too late so I don't need to be reminded of that, but I would really really appreciate if you could share your knowledge of how to salvage whatever can be salvaged, thank you!!
^ You have a lot of questions and they will already be answered by someone else here. But I want you to hear my opinion about this.
That is the right decision, never put all your eggs in one basket which is a common decision of those investors who want to get profit at once just for profit.
Nevertheless, good traders will always have a plan, you can always stick to the plan whatever happens to you because sometimes emotional habits will drag us down too much and won't get recover.
2864  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think the price of BNB will go above $ 300? on: February 19, 2021, 09:36:06 PM
347.8899$

It's going up fast, a little correction occurring but seems there is steam unless too much taking profit occurs.

I sold all my coins on the last BNB pump. This increase in the value of the coin seems like some kind of madness, when the price of the coin has increased by 200% in the last 2 days. It is possible that this growth will continue further, but I think that the coin needs a correction at the moment.
^ That has happened now, there is a short pullback of the price and the correction was there.
Good thing that you have sold your BNB right away, while mine is not yet because I did not have a full decision regarding selling it because I think after a short correction is another healthy level of the price and it will create a new ATH again. Nevertheless, I am afraid that ETH will replace by BNB in a ranking position, we know that ETH is having very high fees and BNB is most used by traders.
2865  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning is better than Following on: February 19, 2021, 09:19:45 PM
^ That is definitely right for me.
Why you will follow other opinions if you can decide from your own. Remember that in trading experience is the best teacher after all. Once you encounter failure, just try to make sure that it will not happen next. Following other's opinions for me is a kind of cheat because you copied or stolen the idea from others for your own benefit. Nevertheless, this is a case to case basin only,
2866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When did you learn about crypto, and how fast did you get comfortable with it? on: February 19, 2021, 08:48:12 PM
I learned about cryptocurrency back in 2015, but for some reason I didn't want to study it.
And in 2017 everything changed and I really wanted to conquer it, I spent two years mastering it.
^ Because that you have witnessed that BTC price was in bull run situation? I am right?
This is my observation to those people who come and adopt BTC and other cryptos, they will mostly appear when the market is in the bull run situation.
But that is them, the first impression them on crypto is money and not even understand what is crypto and the technology behind these cryptocurrencies.
Nevertheless, on my own, I have learned a lot, from technical into financial everything of which has changed because of this opportunity that we had. Not only comfortable and also profitable.
2867  Economy / Economics / Re: "Looks as if #Bitcoin is eating #Gold". Good idea to buy some Gold now? on: February 18, 2021, 08:32:20 PM
A little bit of Gold can never be wrong in your portfolio. Diversification is the best way to protect our portfolios from dropping too hard in a downturn. I am holding a small part of my portfolio in a commodity fund that mainly buys Silver and Gold. When the big bang is going to happen I hope they will go up in value. However the upside is fairly limited in Gold in my opinion. If Gold would go up 20% this would be huge, but seeing Gold go up 100% or 200% like bitcoins seems very unrealistic. I would prefer crypto currencies just because the upside potential is so much bigger.
^ Investing in gold and investing in BTC is might a good idea as well, everything is good for me if you are talking about investing is sounds good either that is crypto or gold. If you can invest in both of them, why not? They had the same movement but I think BTC is easy to gain profit than gold because BTC is become very expensive, even if you will buy. Nevertheless, all of these are temporary, because we know that someday, gold was hold in a passion.
2868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it really a benefit that nobody controls the price? on: February 18, 2021, 08:16:39 PM
^ You did not probably fully understand what is the function of BTC and how affects the price to become volatile.
Because BTC has a fixed amount and the price varied on the demand and supply in the market cap. Once the demand will increase, it means the supply becomes less which in turn to BTC becomes expensive and the price was pegged into a dollar-based value. Nevertheless, it is impossible that you mean BTC will become stable in price, the price will always be fluctuated due to massive traders of altcoins in BTC pairs.
2869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull run: will it end in May? on: February 15, 2021, 09:41:23 PM
~snip~
So we shall assume the price the BTC will have in May will be the maximum for this cycle?
Should we sell in May?
^ To tell you frankly, there is no one knows when is the right time to sell if you have a profit, you are good to sell but if not, keep holding.
It is possible that there is a decline of the price after a massive growth and that is right, there is no infinity growth of BTC price but we will always have a new ATH. Nevertheless, here is my point that BTC will not decline, there are too my institutional investors that keep adopting BTC and using it. It will not probably below $20k as a previous ATH, unless if these all big investors will sell their BTC at once.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Build an Altcoin Portfolio successfully? on: February 15, 2021, 09:31:54 PM
How do you select promising coins?
I definitely choose altcoin that are in the top 100 on coinmarketcap, because the price will definitely increase and the risk is less than altcoin that are under the top 100 on coinmarketcap.
^ Definitely right and I would do the same as what you have said. Probably that is safe to invest but I don't know those pump and dump altcoin such as dogecoin. I have also shitcoins in my portfolio and even them, the price was increased and I think this is the season of altcoins. We witnessed different price increases in most altcoins in the coin market cap. Nevertheless, we need to be careful of the hype, sometimes it will lead us to a sudden loss, do your own research is the best answer, and also, let us be careful most of what they suggested.
2871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do i need to be a successful trader ? on: February 15, 2021, 08:53:02 PM
^ OP has almost everything as a successful trading knowledge has, the problem that I see here is how to apply when Op was in the trading field. All of these mentioned by the OP is good and having a trading plan is always good that you are potentially follow the right path and lead to success.
The first thing to consider is your physical and emotional behavior, you must ready for it when you are stepping in trading. Mental preparation and trading preparation are always considered to achieve your goals, but this does not mean this has a guarantee to become successful in trading and it will probably boost your confidence while in trading.
2872  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we get another golden oppurtunity to buy? on: February 15, 2021, 08:43:47 PM
Like many bitcoiners im one of the people who didnt bought bitcoin at 6000$ or even 15k or 20k$ and i wonder if its possible to see bitcoin in at least 20k again
If no should i buy now or wait more to get lower price ?
Bitcoin price will not go down to $ 20k again and do you want to be too late to buy Bitcoin at $ 46k when the price of Bitcoin becomes $ 60k? if you don't want that to happen, then you better buy Bitcoin right now, because the price of Bitcoin will continue to increase and It will make you regret not investing in Bitcoin when the price is still $ 46k and of course you will miss the opportunity to make a big profit from investing in Bitcoin.
^ It is totally don't know when is the perfect time to buy BTC, but if you are going to ask me, every day is a perfect time to buy and wait until I got a profit.
Many people are still doubtful investing BTC, like what happens when the BTC price was above $10k people are still doubting and now BTC price plunged too much in the market and hit at almost $50k, they again doubted to invest, if this will continue to increase like $60k, they will regret not having a quick decision of investing and did not trust the BTC system.
2873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do gambling websites start investigating accounts only after big wins? on: February 15, 2021, 08:32:21 PM
-snip-
~snip~
The answer to this question is to "Stick to those legit gambling sites"
^ That is a perfect answer for this. Stick to the legit gambling site or those gambling sites that operate with a license. There could be another reason for investigating users win a big amount, probably for a good purpose and I think, that is not a big deal because all gambling sites were probably doing this but a fair investigation. For the reason that almost the same scenario when a casino has a technical system failure and the user will probably take advantage of it, and being a business owner you can verify your user activity. Nevertheless, when it comes to a big loss, it is us as a user who also has a right to verify our bets.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dogecoin "pumped", will Garlicoin be next? on: February 15, 2021, 01:49:31 PM
^ Dogecoin is just hype, nothing else important on this coin that soon to be popular in the market when a hype dies, dogecoin will turn back into a shitcoins which is all altcoins are not good to invest right at this moment. All altcoins are a matter of the bull market but when it was ended, it goes back to a shitcoin. If you noticed all altcoins now that don't have value before and now have a value, probably that is similar to this altcoin that they will never grow. Nevertheless, regarding garlicoin, I don't have any idea if this coin will survive in a long run.
2875  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking a loan to buy Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2021, 01:40:53 PM
If you believe that you will recover yoir loan in few days and you will earn some profit than its all right. No issue with loan but if there is not sure that you will earn and price may be down then my advise "stay away from loan" invest which you can afford.
^ I have been advised this so many times here in the forum, never take a loan just to invest in crypto. It will probably like a double edge sword if you will lose both the amount that you lent and the capital you invested if you won't able to gain profit. A good suggestion that you only invest what you can afford, not even your one-month family budget, it should always extra money that comes from your pocket. However, you can set aside maybe 10% of your monthly salary and invest in cryptocurrencies, in that way, you did not feel hard losing money.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Elon Musk is a Dogecoin shill? on: February 15, 2021, 01:32:04 PM
DOGE advertising by Elon Musk is indirect advertising of Binance, because DOGE is purely a binance coin and the market maker sets the pace for it on Binance. Trade and Buy DOGE = Trade and Buy on Binance. You can go to Kraken, but it's not trendy or youthful.
Doge and Elon Musk have nothing to do with Binance. Binance is just a market and I don't think there's an urge to buy Doge. only Elon Musk tweeted about Doge and that made Pump's price high yesterday. I think you are wrong in giving your opinion on Binance's unrelated Pump doge yesterday
^ Definitely right, there is no correlation between them. Binance is an exchange that very popular and it is different from Elon Musk which is a mass influencer. Probably this Elon Musk had an investment in DOGE back then and since he is a very influential person, he used his power to promote Dogecoin and if you see after the shills dogecoin, it has a massive pullout which is probably he sell his holding. Just like on BTC, right after he promoted it and put it in his Twitter bio, he accepts this as a mode of payment.
2877  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: One Altcoin to invest on: February 15, 2021, 12:35:19 PM
Litecoin.  Historically speaking the price in sats is cheap and the downside is not much lower.  Its a decently safe alt ay with a lot of room for upside.  Unless you want to gamble on some quick hit that can bounce 50% one way or another..litecoin won't do that.
^ LTC is quite a good investment for the long term, I don't see that there is a manipulation of that coin. Because it will always almost the same price movement of BTC. This coin was on my portfolio already altogether with BTC and ETH, probably time will come I will be able to get profit multiple times in the future but for now, I let it sleep on my wallet. Nevertheless, investing altcoins should not put all your eggs in one basket, try to have invest into another  one that you think that it will potentially grow in the future.
2878  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I sell my xrp or wait until $1? on: February 13, 2021, 11:51:42 AM
^ The same on me, I won't expect XRP will reach at $1 price, we know that this coin was in the hype and regulated coin. If they want the price to pump, they will. Decide by your own OP, if you feel that this coin will raise up soon, then, you must hold on but if you think this becomes shitcoin someday, who knows. As I advise you if you see your profit were there, probably it is not good if you sell this, but if not, don't be a fool selling under the price you have purchased. Nevertheless, all of these were dependent on the OP.
2879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ether vs bitcoin on: February 13, 2021, 11:10:07 AM
As bitcoin all time high battling to be $ 49000 , ether is also all time high in $1850
^ Have you invested them all, if so, you won't need to compare them because they are both leading cryptocurrencies that have good potential on earning profit. We are in the bull market as of now, considering that all altcoins have been also doing great and they pumped up together with BTC and now we are in a healthy market and most likely all investors was gained profit. Nevertheless, even though both coins have very high fees but they are still very useful crypto.
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Dogecoin reach 1$ soon? on: February 13, 2021, 10:13:01 AM
The dogecoin has already pumped up twice with the help of popular persons like Elon Musk,
What did Elon Musk say about dogecoin any link where to read it or it just a general assumptions from your side as regard Elon Musk on bitcoin which spark the present bull run.
^ Just a hype that made by him and I don't still trust dogecoin after all. If you are looking at demand and supply, dogecoin has an unlimited supply which is not a fixed amount. So how the dogecoin will able to raise without a help of an influence people to pump. But it is too early to criticize dogecoin, probably there is good news waiting ahead. Nevertheless, let us try to invest in what we can afford, probably Elon Musk will pump this coin again but hitting $1 is impossible in my opinion.
