2861  Economy / Economics / Re: I have Good news and Bad news about economy on: September 03, 2020, 02:50:22 PM
If I'm not mistaken this user already has predicted an event, and he's studying western economics, that's what I can recall from his username.

Predictions can be correct or not, why do we need to say we don't need your prediction? if you don't want to hear anything from here then you could just ignore.

And for you OP you could have just at least a data provided to partially support your claims, that could have been more appealing to those people above.

Yes. If you really want to be paid with your own predictions, then post some valid details as proofs or evidences. But to be honest, everyone is free to make predictions here and everyone is doing it in the forum. But what you have posted is not just a prediction, but rather truths because those are really experienced by most of the countries today brought by this current pandemic we have.
2862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think will be the top cryptocurrencies in 2021 on: September 03, 2020, 11:55:29 AM
Bitcoin and Ethereum are my key players.
But I am still hunting some altcoins these days, I am trying to avoid DeFi coins these days coz I think I am already late for the party, lol.
As long as my bag is majority on Bitcoin and Ethereum, i'll be more safe, kinda scary to pick some low market cap altcoins, I am afraid on Bitcoin to dominate the market again.

I believe a lot of us here are rooting for btc and eth. They are like the only cryptocurrencies you can trust of when all others fail. But if you are a crypto user who is closely following updates and developments of others alts, you will know which one is worth investing for. Not gonna believe all the FUD by other people here.
Yes. Bitcoin and ethereum are my only top choices and the rest of those altcoins are not really seem profitable for me. And besides, it's more risky if you fill your bag with pump and dump altcoins and only to find out they only end up as dead coins in the long run. Better invest with bitcoin and ethereum since they made the best hit in the crypto market.
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greedy crypto developers on: September 03, 2020, 11:15:35 AM
it's no use. developers like that will always exist. what's even more saddening is the fact that some people are still buying their tokens so they keep making more money from fools. stop feeding them and they'll die, that's the only way.
If greedy developers are becoming unstoppable, and so with fool investors too. People keep on buying tokens even without making a background check on it and so they end up losing. This cannot be stopped easily because greediness of a person will always be present and once people keep on feeding them, they'll surely continue their wrong doings.
2864  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading crypto is a different ball game on: September 03, 2020, 10:40:59 AM
People who thinks crypto trading is so easy to make profits are newbies because experienced trade know how the volatility of cryptocurrencies can eat the profits we made in hundreds of days in just few hours so we need to keep active all the time and stop loss feature can save from huge losses and much more to learn everyday from trading cryptos.
Sometimes, it's good to stay only in one field if you think you already mastered it rather than entering into crypto trading believing that it would be another rich quick scheme. Crypto trading is a different game and you need to be more knowledgeable and skilled with it first before you can say making profits in crypto trading is easy.
2865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I go into this crypto???? on: September 02, 2020, 07:41:12 PM
im not familiar with the coin but that does not mean its bad just because its not familiar and not all people are talking about it because that can also be a hidden gem . you know better with it because you said you already made a careful research  .

you should ask yourself the most not ours if you will invest on it or not but i like your attitude because your not going onto majority or your not doing a fomo .
I'm also not familiar with this pinkcoin too but i suggest, if you are not so sure with this coin, better find another coin that is already listed in a reputable exchange so you won't have to doubt on your investment. Investing in a new coin or maybe a dead coin already is much risky than investing on coins that are already known to the investors and have high assurance that it's a legit one and not a scam.
2866  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: September 02, 2020, 07:14:00 PM
Its not a about Medical issue.

Its just smoke and mirrors.

Its a about Economic issue.
Becouse the strongest covid restrictions are in places where debt is highest.
But the government had to hide this otherwise If they would telling the truth the more panic would occured!!

The covid smoke and mirrors is not bad idea Smiley
The rulers who run world are smart like me Smiley
But they are much more smart If I would run the World I wouldnt not know to use this covid fake Thing

I Wonder how they Got that idea covid 19 to hide their Economic debt bubble and liqutity problem?
Seems like you are saying that each government Let their people dies just to Hide their debts?
what kind of mind thinking is that?
you don't Know how valuable life is just to make something out like this to Give your hallucinations in words.
Corono Virus is killing people hour after hour or even Minute after minute and here you are making such post without even thinking how people feels.
I agree. No government would like to hide their debts and will just let their people dies because I think even they are not a good leader, they will still do everything for their country's safety. The reasons why some countries have huge debts, so they could just provide the needs of every hospitals to cure their COVID-19 patients during the pandemic.
Yes. I think it is a must now for the government to secure the safety of the citizens from corona virus even if it means increasing their current debts just to provide the basic needs not just for the hospitals and their medical facilities but for all the citizens living in a country.
2867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safety first before trading on: September 02, 2020, 01:52:32 AM
It's scary that more and more are becoming victims of scammers or hackers in the trading world. Therefore I totally agree to do it
safety first when trading, one of which is choosing popular and reliable trading platforms. Then choose potential coins for trading,
and don't buy low volume coins. The next one uses risk management so that the capital used is safer, and lastly, always use the
stop-loss feature to maintain the capital we have.

Being cautious in everything you do before you trade and while you're into trading helps keep you safe and your assets too. Do not rush into trading thinking that this is a quick rich sheme because once you're into trading, your funds will be automatically in a high risks. Choose the best trading platform once you trade and make sure you are trading those high volume coins and not those dead coins or else you will end up losing your funds.
2868  Other / Off-topic / Re: It's time to destroy China, don't buy anything from them ,don't deal with them on: September 01, 2020, 11:58:27 PM
I don't agree with your statement regarding the Chinese people, because the chaos created by the Chinese state is purely the fault of
the government. We have to think clearly and not get carried away with emotions, don't start triggering wars. It is true that China has
done so actions detrimental to other countries, such as destroying the economy of other countries, commotion on the border of India,
making money trap in some countries. But that doesn't make all Chinese people guilty.
Exactly. We should not be carried away by our own anger because not all Chinese people are responsible for this. China may have been the source of this corona virus and that most of the countries have put hatred on them but treating them in general like a mess and beating them is already out of humanity.
2869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum overpower Bitcoin in the future? Which side are you on? on: September 01, 2020, 03:41:24 PM
Its hard to see this happening soon, its also hard to give assumptions now since eth is far too behind bitcoin. BTC has a lot of following backing it up and its already established the name and proved its worth. Tho its possible if eth manages to overcome this, but that future is far too beyond. Maybe someday, but not anytime soon.
I have not closed my mind on the possibility that one day, ethereum will dethroned bitcoin and replace its position but it might take more years to wait. Bitcoin is currently enjoying its top position and is gaining more huge gains compared with ethereum so probably, things will not change at these early times. And even if this crypto market keeps on changing, the fact that bitcoin is still the king  of crypto will never be easily changed.
2870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: September 01, 2020, 03:13:05 PM
The scams not just affects Bitcoin's reputation but also all the Cryptocurrencies being made. Scams are dangerous and might lead to people telling other people to not take interest into Cryptocurrencies. The scams need to stop and users that see these kind of scams must always tell other people to turn away from things that are too good to be true.
Bitcoin enthusiasts never think bitcoin or even the whole crypto market as a scam because only foolish people does. Yes it does affect bitcoin's reputation but the effect is just temporary knowing bitcoin is still gaining huge interest from people particularly investors despite of the hacking issues. It just proves that bitcoin despite of its negativity still chose to develop even more until it becomes a global currency in the future.
2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto after COVID-19 on: August 31, 2020, 11:56:10 PM
During the pandemic situation, awareness towards cryptocurrencies has remarkably been increased. Even though major industries are getting pushed back due to the slowdown of the economy because of lockdown, on the other side, we have seen good growth in the crypto market.
From my point of view, once everything is settled down, the crypto market will see more investments than now.

You are right... In one way or the other, the Covid-19 pandemic played a large role in cryptocurrency awareness creation and adoption. And we all have seen the positive effects of it. We have seen a sudden and continuous growth in the market. I hope this continues
I have strong faith in crypto that it will continue to increase its value even if the world's pandemic will already be gone. People have started to look for good opportunities in crypto and make huge gains from crypto investments so possibly they will not leave crypto even if things will be back to normal again.
2872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which type of trading you think is good? on: August 31, 2020, 11:35:42 PM
These are not trading type but rather a signal which for me you might not limit your self to just one. You can combine technical analysis with news to have an holistic representation of how you want your trading to be spread. Also, from experience signal from technical analysis which is basically from the chart history sometime works and sometime it might not but when there is events which is big news. They price can be influenced within few seconds.
Trading alone with technical or fundamental anaysis may not totally work but it also depends on the current status of the market. It would be best if you try both and then evaluate which trading methods will work out for you. After all, it all depends on how we manage our trading skills which still matters in the end and make us totally profitable.
2873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can I restart a dead altcoin and continue the development?? on: August 30, 2020, 11:49:40 PM
For dead altcoins, the restart will be harder. If the project once took the popularity and it suddenly died, there's almost no coming back from it. But we want to hear it from you op if what happened to this discussion or to the project that you are interested in.
You have started a thread and for sure that you are eyeing for a project that you think has the potential. It's just a matter of management in your eyes.
Bringing back dead altcoins would mean a very hard task since you will be working again in a long process and yet no assurance if it will end sucessfully. I'd rather advise you to start a new and potential project and build trust on the investors because it might have bigger chances to make you profitable in the end rather than managing a project that has been abandoned already because of some serious issues.
2874  Economy / Economics / Re: US economy will continue to recover - Powell on: August 30, 2020, 11:26:53 PM
The U.S. election is in November, that's about three months to go, there is no way Trumps government can revive the economy in such a short period of time, he's reelection or not will depend on what he's done in the last four years and not this remaining three months before the polls (even if it's possible he revives the economy). Trump has made quite a lot of bad decisions as well as statements he failed to keep to, it's up to the voters now.

Powell didn't choose the wrong words there imo, there is no definite direction for the U.S economy atm, of course the government will do everything possible to get things back on track and to get the jobless working again, but it will take time for this to happen, they have been forced to print more money already this period, a move that could also affect the economy later on. It is what it is and the economy is bound to recover slowly.
If he can revive the economy in such a short period, it will be a remarkable achievement which no president did before. However, it is hard for him to do that despite the fact that he is a businessman. Many people currently dont have any job but it is not neccesary mean that the economy is going down. When we look at the big picture, there are many aspects recovering extremely fast, especially stock markets and futures. Well, things seem to be awful at the moment but i can ensure that we will soon be back on the track
US economy will definitely recover but it might take not only months but years for the whole economy to be normal again. Small and large companies are still closing their businesses and that will also affect the people's economy too as they have no jobs to sustain their daily needs. Not only US is affected with this pandemic but even the other countries as well but it would be the president's job on how he will handle his fellowmen to overcome this worldwide crisis.
2875  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legal Matter on: August 28, 2020, 11:56:01 PM
The government should be more open to online gambling, because if we see the demand for online gambling is so great.
Especially in a pandemic situation like now, if the government legalizes online gambling. Of course it can be a good tax revenue.
And it can also be profitable for online gambling users, because scammers can be overcome. So in my opinion, legalizing online
gambling can be a win win solution.
It is surely a good step to legalize all online crypto casinos because aside from avoiding a lot of scammers, it can also help the government as well which will add to tax revenue. But the big problem would be our sense of anonymity, it will definitely be forgotten as regulations from the government would strictly be implied.
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: August 28, 2020, 01:28:50 PM
For now, it's not because of the extreme fluctuation of each altcoins. Gold is getting more expensive every year even though the price increases only slightly but it is very safe for long-term investment. So this temporary cryptocurrency is only for looking for additional income but on the condition that the risk is borne by the personal.

Gold is always a long term investment which we need to buy them whenever there is a price drop in the market. Crypto are becoming more matured if we compare with the previous years, we have seen most of the governments not showing much interest towards this block chain and cryptocurrency. Now governments are showing lots of interest towards this block chain technology and it will help the potential coin to increase its demand easily.

Crypto for now is not that high in demand compared to gold but since we are heading into a cashless society, then we can expect that crypto will now be more popular and later on become valuable too. And knowing the fact that gold serves only as an investment but when it comes to crypto, it's more of a currency rather than an asset or investment so it has more advantages compared to gold.
2877  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Regulations in online Gambling sites on: August 28, 2020, 11:08:09 AM
Usually, when people know about their country's regulations, they will not use their real IP when they visit the online gambling site. They prefer to use private VPN to play gambling because that can hide their real IP from the ISP's tracking. But some people still use their real IP to playing gambling, and so far, there is no tracking from the ISP. But the ISP still monitor them, just in case if they are using the internet connection just to play online gambling.

But I think it will difficult to regulate online gambling sites because the sites will choose to open their business in the country, which allows gambling, and they will not have a problem with the user that comes from many countries.

Your ISPs always monitoring you, even if they say they're not. Their software and hardware can do nothing but track you, it's up to the ISP whether or not they keep this information, and whether the law requires them to or not (and they do, they like being on the good side of enforcement). Think it's only Switzerland that has enough privacy laws to not require ISPs to track you.

It's up to us to protect our privacy in the end.

Can our ISP still do that even if we are using VPN to mask our real IP address? I mean, can they know that we are accessing the gambling sites? It would be helpful to me if I get the right answer as I have friends that has an static IP who gambled without using VPN.
2878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 28, 2020, 08:18:11 AM
So there's no update about this fight since people are turning to Mike Tyson vs Evander Holyfield? People, once upon a time this thread was very active as we are excited to see this fight to happen, but now it's looks like a ghost town as suddenly people forget although this fight is not cancelled yet to my knowledge.
2879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting: how much knowledge is too much on: August 28, 2020, 08:05:27 AM
Sometimes we think it's easy to win but it's not, odds maker providing us the odds whether it's a live bet or not always analyze it well and whether we like it or not, they are smart than most of the gamblers, that's why we make wrong prediction most of the time.
I didn't say it was easy to win I only wanted to point out that there are strategies where you don't need much information. I know the odds maker are smart and ahead of us but you can still make things work regardless of what they offer to us. If you actively bet or monitor the live odds sometimes you'll notice how they react heavily on small advantages that could still go both ways.

So you are talking of live betting here? Based on my experience, I have more success betting on live than betting on before the game. I think this is good if we have enough time and if we really want to improve our skills in sports betting, then maybe it's just right to invest our time watching live games and betting live.
2880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 28, 2020, 03:20:04 AM
The first statement that came into their mind was due to the rising emotion, but maybe later realize the consequences they'll face if they'll cancel the season, so we have some good news today.

Same. Being carried away with their emotions so they decided quickly.

Fortunately, those votes came from Lakers and Clippers is I believed just a Poll and not an actual decision.

I know the issue is serious and sensitive but they should think of another reform for a change that won't jeopardized the playoffs.

It's good that the NBA would finally resume, and I think even if the same thing happen, there's no stopping the NBA now.
The playoffs will resume and Lakers or Clippers could probably take the NBA championship this season.

Instead of doing the negative one, they can be positive to resume the season and offer their success to the victims of social injustice as we call it.

Lebron as the most popular NBA player now should show the love for the NBA, so fans will continue to love the NBA as well.
Protesting is Okay but stopping the playoffs, hmmmmm... no, never okay.

I always love to see the NBA, so anything that would stop it, I am against to it even if players are protecting for a cause because I believe it's not right to sacrifice the NBA when there are other ways to do it.  I'm happy now that they already made a decision to resume playing, and hopefully there will be no more interruption going forward.
