2861  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2016-12-21] NDTV: In a Post Demonetisation World, Indians are Giving BTC a look on: December 24, 2016, 05:46:03 AM
Demonetization in a way has helped people to look into pother alternative other then cash and btc certainly is one of them and also as per investment point of view its just another asset class which gave return of 70+% during 2016 which no other asset class as such has given it. 2017 may see new high where even btc could jump to 1000+$ in terms of its price.
2862  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2016-12-19] Firstpost: Bitcoins accepted by over 500 merchants in India on: December 24, 2016, 05:42:56 AM
This is really at the very initial stage if considered just 500 merchants accepting across India till now. Yes but a good sign and more to come with the demonetization in place and India to move some towards some cashless economy so BTC will certainly be accepted by more merchants and acts as another payment mode.

Could you throw some light on the questions asked above as this is still left unanswered by you. This will help many others on the forum as they will be able to judge if they should be investing in this altcoin or not as many may have similar questions in their mind.
2864  Local / India / Re: The Best Bitcoin Exchange in India on: December 23, 2016, 05:56:20 AM
I really doubt zebpay will be doing that auto payment without your consent. Did you try and called them up and asked the reason for it because if this happens tomorrow they will sell you btc as well which you may have in their wallet without your consent?  Tongue
2865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 23, 2016, 05:34:05 AM
You will have a create a example and narrate them in form of story. Once you describe the features in the from of story it will be easy for them to understand the exact functioning or atleast the usefulness of the product. Rest as they grow more they will learn by themselves if it interests them.
2866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin still suited to low amount transactions? on: December 23, 2016, 05:30:33 AM
If you are transferring without any fees then certainly you can do minimum transaction with the risk that it may take days to confirm those type of transactions. Well on other hand minimum generally ht fees is 0.0002 so ideally you have transact a good amount so that % of fees of your transaction amount is bare minimum
2867  Economy / Goods / Re: Buying Watches (Antiques, New, Used) - No Replicates on: December 22, 2016, 06:07:44 AM
A simple suggestion go to stores or shop online you will get so many varieties that all put here together still will not be able to match it and you will have so many options as well to choose from. Unless some have an antique then can post here as they are limited ones.

2869  Local / India / Re: Is it fine to sell bitcoins and take payments at Savings Bank account? on: December 22, 2016, 05:55:29 AM
Well if its occasionally that you sell and get payment then its fine to get in savings. But if you sell it on regular basis and payment in savings then its not allowed since you will have to open a current account with bank. Savings are generally for lesser transactions and its not meant to be for business purpose.
2870  Local / India / Re: How Long Should We Tolerate It? on: December 22, 2016, 05:39:01 AM
Before I start,I want to make it clear that I am agaist eye for an eye kind of treatment but I feel very sad that we Indians seems to be the soft target for those haters.
Recently I started a thread in Service section and this gentleman made this stupid comment https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1713789.msg17177961#msg17177961
Although I didn't reply him back and tried to report his post but couldn't due to some error.
I felt very sad that nobody can say same about other nations without going unpunished.
How long we indians should tolerate such stupid behavior?Does being a peace loving mean one should not react to insults as well.?

Hey Zahra,

Just don't take it seriously dear... sometimes it happens. From the day I have joined bitcointalk, here I notice that all the moderator, senior member and legendary are very nice, friendly and co-operative here.. so, they take care of every happenings here. Smiley

Yes you are right there are many moderators across boards which are helpful in case you have doubts or queries and ready to help you. Only thing is that they do take time in response as probably they would be flooded with different queries it seems so.
2871  Local / Buyer/ Seller Reputations (India) / Re: igot.com looks suspicious [resolved] on: December 21, 2016, 05:47:38 PM

2872  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: December 21, 2016, 12:59:01 PM
100$ a BTC in today time everyone would buy it considering the potential it has. But it will need a massive drop on the price of bitcoin ,before we encounter that 100$ price again which seems to be little impossible at the moment.
2873  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitfinex - Funding. Yes or No? on: December 21, 2016, 06:07:01 AM
I think rather than using bitfinex the better site is bitstamp where you can fund it. Also bitfinex was being hacked a while ago if not mistaken. But OP as you mentioned you had good experience till now, then you can look continue to fund it or rather also you can start diversifying yourself from this to another sites.
2874  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2016-12-16] Moneycontrol: Afraid to invest in BTC? Unocoin's SIP might help on: December 21, 2016, 05:53:34 AM
AT the moment Unocoin are the only ones who offers a SIP in bitcoin for India. This is actually a good way for new people who can deposit some money on monthly basis and buy bitcoin just like mutual funds. Great way actually to tap the market from new comers .
2875  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2016-12-08] Demonetisation: Why Bitcoin is gaining currency in cashless times on: December 21, 2016, 05:48:08 AM
If considered in last weeks btc price is almost stagnant and there are not much trades happening. Not sure the reason for being such a stagnant in trades. Even the Indian exchanges prices are almost similar on daily basis seems to be crunch for bitcoin at the moment.

2878  Local / Mining (India) / Re: S9 Required to purchase on: December 21, 2016, 05:35:46 AM
I would like to understand reason for you to mine btc. Because it seems mining in India is not a profitable option unless you have got funded by anyone  due to high cost of rental place, electricity , mining equipment, difficulty level to increase of bitcoin.

So what is motivating you of mine btc?
His motivation could be anything ,may be he wants to learn about mining and having an experience is a good thing.Electricity is still cheap in India if you are comparing it to other countries but the only issue we are going to face is how you are going to control the heat produced by the machines. The climate here is not good for mining unless and until you spend a lot of money to cool the place. You could try ebay to get second hand mining hardware.

Electricity is cheap  Huh let me know which all places in India as its cheaper outside rather than India. Also who will include the place rental as a huge farm is require to setup the big mining process unless you setting up very small then actually there is no point as it will take a long time to recover unless you have extra money and can learn with so much expense.

Game is to play and enjoy it. If its individual then its your choice or if its a team game then your team skills are tested.

While gambling you do to earn profit. So game and gamble clubbed together results in Enjoyment with profits.
