Zebpay is the quick and fastest among the rest. Also Coinsecure is good but only thing is that one is exchange and other is not. While Zebpay also has the recharge feature and when it comes to withdrawal Coinsecure is the fastest and also on Saturday you can withdraw.
2762  Local / India / Re: Which banks are used by bitcoin exchanges in India? on: January 16, 2017, 06:39:54 AM
You can also use ICICI bank as well. They were the first bank in India to test the blockchain technology couple of months ago and successfully tested it also. After that there were other few banks who have started and done testing.

2764  Local / India / Re: Bitcoin Hits $1080 in India on: January 15, 2017, 11:18:00 AM
Whatever the reason for price hike is,I think this has and will attract more and more people to bitcoin in India.
I am now seeing article and news published in local dailies on regular basis. This reflects interest of Indians in bitcoin and this is a good sign Smiley

Well during the last quarter of 2016 it saw many new users in India across various exchanges being registered. This was primarily dues to demonetization effect and also price was rising to 1000$+ But now since it has fallen by 300$ an close to 800$ it would be interesting to see if people will invest or wait for further price reduction.

- Who all the creator of Orocoin?
- Their registered headoffice and contact no?
- What are the 5 things that distinguishes it from other alt coins?
- Do you also vouch for this coin as per your understanding or no (You just translator and want to restrict yourself till that?)
2766  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-01-12] Moneycontrol: RBI bullish on blockchain on: January 15, 2017, 08:17:24 AM
Is it possible that government can bring its own coin and uses the support of blockchain and says that from going on this will be the legal tender coin in India if anyone wants to transact or do remittance anywhere in India and want to make payment to anyone in a digital way  Huh Thus banning rest of the coins in India.
2767  Local / India / Re: Unocoin Delay on: January 15, 2017, 08:07:16 AM
Well this really a sign of worry because Unocoin actually does not delay that long about withdrawing the funds. Probably you may be a new user and suddenly withdrawing 1 lac due to which they are checking and taking time. If that is not the case then there should be delay more than a day.
Their rep advised that the funds bounced back to their account. Which is coz I do transact a lot on this bank account and the details are correct.

I would surely think twice before funding my Unocoin account now.

You had withdrwn the amount so they have to deposit in your account. How come the amount bounced back when they send it from the NEFT? They have money so they would have done NEFT and your is recipient account so it will receive it. How come it will bounce from your account?
2768  Local / Regional Languages (India) / Re: What is the position of Stellar on: January 15, 2017, 06:27:04 AM
The actual benefit of many altcoins being created is for the owners benefit. Many purchases and owner start selling them and only few genuine coins actually exits and have a decent value after couple of months rest almost the value drops within no time.
2769  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Buying btc for cash in chennai on: January 15, 2017, 06:20:25 AM
Hello im looking to buy a few btc for cash in chennai?
Where in Chennai? and how much BTC are you looking for? Ive never done cash deal before. PM me the details. If I have sufficient BTC. I'll be happy to sell for cash in hand.

Cautious ; The buyer is the newbie and that is the first post of his on the forum. Also you have never dealt in cash. SO ideally in such things avoid cash dealing unless you know that person. Also bu the way did he contacted you till now?
2770  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Wants to buy Bitcoin tshirt in Bangalore on: January 15, 2017, 06:15:43 AM
That is right you can get it printed where the coffee mugs with your pics are being sold. I am not sure how much time they take it to get it printed on tshirt but it should not be long enough ideally. Also is there are any conference happening where you would be delivering the speech?
2771  Local / Mining (India) / Re: S9 Required to purchase on: January 15, 2017, 06:11:37 AM
I know a person who is selling S9 for INR 1,30,000 and some taxes extra, if you want, I can talk to him regarding this.
I also know about a pool where you will be able to host it for $84 as I am in a group of Bitcoin-India and the person whom I am speaking about is also a genuine user of that group.
Are there large bitcoin mining farms in India if so i would like to meet and visit you guys it would be awesome to have a tour one day.If you could help me out in getting to know the details about the group that would be awesome.I have not seen any threads claiming to be mining farms from India ,the thing i want to know is how they are managing the heat.

You can join them by asking the admin of the group.
His name is Actor Sykam Reddy and his number is  +918680009649, you can also find more information about this at their website --->>> https://bitcoin-india.org/

Actor?  Huh which movie he has acted in and he is also in bitcoin as well  Cheesy. The site does not provide any information about his acting skills etc. But check out as we are not sure and not heard about this could be a fake site as well.

Whether that guy's an actor or not, but you seriously are a patient and need to look for a psychiatrist.
Mate, I said that he is the admin of the group and his website is an exchange where people buy, sell and trade bitcoins easily and he is a trustworthy personality. Just do some investigation before throwing out anything out of your mouth about anyone, else learn how to respect. He runs a reputable website where anyone can host their S9, and he can also help you with the purchase of that giant.

That is really funny about psychiatrist. Seems you have being so know about it a lot  Tongue. Okay so he is respectable and trustworthy personality. Thats really cool could you throw some light about the statiscs of 2016? Clients and total bitcoin sold. If that was the case he would have listed on bitcoinrates to be honest.
2772  Local / Mining (India) / Re: mining btc on: January 15, 2017, 06:06:48 AM
Sorry .. for i have been out of reach of the forum for i have been out of country for these days. Yup i got to know that mining Bitcoin is totally not profitable. I decided to mine altcoin. It would be a great help if you tell me about mining altcoin .. thanks

There's nothing like bitcoin mining is unprofitable, but you need the right hardware to do it, as well as least or no electricity charges.
Currently, Antminer S9 is the best mining hardware available if you are interested in mining bitcoins, but it is very expensive.
So, your decision of mining altcoins is good but you will still need some good hardware for that too as the number of users in cryptocurrency world has increased to such extent that whenever a new altcoin bumps up, they try to get their hands on and very few chances are there that one could make anything into mining these days. It's not impossible, but hard.

Well you say its hard and on other hand says that there should be least or no electricity charges. Well could you let us know in India which are the places where you can get legally free electricity or least cost per unit so that mining could be setup there.
2773  Local / Mining (India) / Re: ZEC mining on: January 15, 2017, 06:02:33 AM
z-cash mining is the best you can do now if you are into mining ...the initial price was around  25BTC and gradually it reached the current price of 40$..

From 25 btc to $40 . What are you serious that it yielded you 25 btc at one point of time? Huh That is massive and unbelievable if that its actual then it wont take time to even reach $10 in coming month.
2774  Local / India / Re: Unocoin Delay on: January 15, 2017, 05:59:47 AM
Update:
Funds still not received.
I am worried a bit now... The amount is significant.

P.S. the amount is approximately 100K

Well this really a sign of worry because Unocoin actually does not delay that long about withdrawing the funds. Probably you may be a new user and suddenly withdrawing 1 lac due to which they are checking and taking time. If that is not the case then there should be delay more than a day.
2775  Local / India / Re: Number of BitCoins users in India on: January 13, 2017, 02:42:39 PM
Does any one have an idea how many BitCoin users are there in India ?

I think its important to have basic data so that we can get a clear picture about its adoption and rate of growth.

You will not know exact number of users in India as there is no standard site available where users need to registered if they would like to trade in bitcoin. But yes you can ask exchanges in India about total number of users registered with them. But it will just give you a very fair idea and not even a close numbers to actual users.

Even a rough range will give us lot of information. Like less than 50000 users .. Or between 50000 and 1 Lakh users .. I don't think its more than 1 lakh users.

Zebpay has over 300k users.

Regards

How many of them are from India?

My estimate would be about 400-500k users in India and easily adding up 20-30k new users every month.

More Indians are coming into bitcoin and it is very positive for bitcoin. We can see a decent price move in the coming days and in 2017. Venezuela has followed India's path by demonetizing  it's highest value currency note and this will add more fuel to the bitcoin rally.

I dont think it will have any effect of Venezuela demonetizing  its currency because what is the total trades of that country is not that significant that can control the market prices up and down. Just for example after India banning the currency price wnet up and now more people are added to trade btc but see prices fell from 1100$+ to 800$
2776  Local / India / Re: [OFFICIAL] Bitxoxo.com - Updates, Reviews, Suggestions & Feedbacks on: January 13, 2017, 02:25:06 PM
Any chance you can share Bitxoxo's December Volume?

In December, we transacted around 30+ cr worth of BTC including buying & selling!

This is phenomenal. Within short span of time you have grown and come a big way and more to come yet. What are the challenges you have faced till now and how did you manage to get it resolved if any and what you think challenges may be faced in 2017?

How many users does Unocoin have at present and how many new users were added in 2016 alone? Certainly numbers would have increase in last quarter of 2016 and it will rise now as the price has sore to 1000$

We sever 1.3L Indian customers at the moment. About 2/3rd of this is from 2016.

So, Zebpay is now bigger than Unocoin! It seems Mahin's prediction was correct in 2014. Mobile penetration made all the difference. Roll Eyes

Certainly Zebapy is much bigger in terms of its users base and also in terms of total btc buy/sell. Well but what is the status of Coinsecure.  How much is the total base of CS now and how many new users were added in 2016. I think certainly around 5 lakh + users would be in India
2778  Local / Alt Coins (India) / Re: INDIAN ALTCOIN TRADERS on: January 12, 2017, 02:56:10 PM
I am considering to make a Indian cryptocurruncy traders group to pump the selected coins in some exchanges just on the lines of many similar pump groups that exist.
Any takers for my idea here?

I think there is no such group exists till now so a nice idea. But not sure how many would like to trade altcoin which any given day will get disappeared especially with the new coins . Ones which are established like Litecoin also now not much being traded. So are you planning to create a what's app group or something like that?
Actually the whole idea of Pump is buy a coin (mostly the one with low price) pump it's price and sell it.
I dont think it has to hold coin for long so there is no question of coin disappearing.
Good famous coins requires lots of money to pump them so we will start with coins which are not much popular.
Yes a whatsapp group would be a nice idea.
Anyone interested start posting your numbers and I will add you to whatsapp group.

Thats a nice idea but do you think pumping few 100 buy worth of altcoins would make the price rise or once you buy it there will be seller at the time when you want to sell it? It is possible that you may get the buyer or even may not depends on the volume of the coins too.
Yes that is something we need to sort out.But sometimes it Is just a hype that makes a coin in demand.Take  for example Shorty. They started Rocket ICO on yobit and their price is still above ICO price.
We can target such coins

Perfect but do you know in a week how many coins gets released and how many get next to zero value in coming time. How will you identify if say 3 coins are coming with ICO. DO you wish to invest in all the 3 or just among the 1. Because there will be no guarantee of any coin that price will always be high above ICO for long.
We can make profit with any coin even if it is dead after a week of launch.

I think this is not going to work.Indians are still very few in numbers to be able to move price.Even if we have 100 members (a whatsapp group can not accommodate more) and each one invest 0.01 btc,I doubt we can pump a coin.

Do your math buddy. With 0.01 btc by 100 people, we can get 1 btc.If you check any exchange, this amount can push up price of many coins.

The thing is that first you will be buying that coin. So you require sellers for such a coin whose future nobody knows. Secondly once you hold the coin you would like to sell it at a high price. So you will require the buyers for that coin.  Now this is where thing may not be that easy.

2780  Local / India / Re: best and worst bitcoin exchanges around india on: January 12, 2017, 11:09:57 AM
KYC completion duration:

Zebpay : 2 days maximum
coinsecure: 5 to 6 days minimum, maximum (no guarantee unless one keeps

Support:
Both zebpay and coinsecure are really quick to respond on email.  Especially coinsecure response are faster.
Zebpay has way better interface when it comes to the support related issues. You know what is current status of ticket.

customer Interface:
coinsecure:  clicking on "Chat with us" window opens email contact and NOT a chat program.  document upload section has serious issue in doing it's intended task.

bitcoin price premium:
coinsecure has better price options than zebpay: zebpay has it's own reason for higher buy rate though. For end user low buy rate is the end goal.

Yes you are right ideally CS should remove that box of Chat with us and just keep as an email and phone no for contact purpose. Another thing for zebpay as a customer if you want to buy their rate is always high and some time thier price difference between buy/sell is too vary to even imagine.
